I want to build a "budget" gaming PC. Should I get a GTX 1650 4 GB, the new 6 GB version of the RTX 3050, an RX 6500 XT 4GB, or am I just getting scammed at this price point?

So one of my friend has a dell optiplex 9020 with a i5-4750....he wants to a GPU upgrade...to something like a 1050TI or a 1650...but as usual prebuilt pcs have bad psu....or small capacity psu.....the PSU in this pc is a 290w psu so can a PSU upgrade be done on this pc? if so what are the PSUs that can be used for the i5 and lets say a 1650......this pc has a hard drive and a ssd....are there any psus less than 60$ that can be installed in this pc?

My Zotac RTX 2060 might be dead. I'm praying I can fix it. But in case I can't, I don't have too much budget right now so I'll have to settle for a downgrade unfortunately. So between - PNY GeForce GTX 1650 4G Dual Fan Low Profile 4GB GDDR6 Graphics Card (cheapest decent option from nvidia, is PNY a good brand tho?) Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT Gaming OC 4GB GDDR6 Graphics Card (slightly expensive, still within budget, again is it a good brand?) Which one should I buy? Or should I save more to get this ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3050 Solo 8GB GDDR6 Graphics Card instead? It would cost quite a bit more (33% more than my budget) and from some reviews it seems to perform not that impressive for the cost. I bought my 2060 at the price the 3050 is available now. Some reviews show that 3050 performs very poorly compared to 2060. So I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Also rtx 2060 is hardly available in my area right now with the cheapest option costing 1.5x more than the price I bought it for, so that's out of the question. My build- i7-9700k aorus z390 master g skill 16 gb 3200 ddr4 ram cooler master 650W 80 plus gold Thanks in advance.

I bought myself a PC a while ago, it had an Athlon 200GE in it. My graphics card is a GTX 1650. I have recently ordered a new motherboard, PSU and a case. Now I'm searching for a new CPU. The motherboard is AM4, My preference would be something a bit more budget but would support Windows 11 and also not cause too much of a bottleneck. I don't really care about the condition. I'm in the United Kingdom.

Hello, i have a few questions for a pc build to do with graphics cards and integrated graphics My currency is in AUD 1.Would be better to get a: gpu + cpu -> $399 + $299 or cpu with integrated graphics -> $399 2. would it be better to spend a bit more for a gtx 1650 or save for a better gpu in the future with a ryzen 5 5600g 3. Are there any drawbacks with using a ryzen 5 5600g 4. Is it ok to use the stock cooler if i were to get the r5 5600g Thanks for your time

I need some advice: I've got a desktop with an ASUS gtx 1650 in it (no idea where my office sourced it from, I'm not going to ask). It has a DVI, HDMI, and a DisplayPort, we've got an output plugged into all three. The problem is that on start up, the graphics card only sends an output to the DVI monitor, and won't recognise any other outputs unless you unplug all three outputs, then plug them back in the right order (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI). This is really unhelpful because we have volunteers with very low tech-literacy using this computer, and we can't have them needing to unplug cables. Does anyone have any suggestions? (If I need to add more details/it's in the wrong place let me know)

Trying to get an MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 VENTUS XS OCV1 4GB GDDR6 working on an old Asus Prebuild (M11BB), with a F2A55-M motherboard. I only got the card because it's been stated it can run perfectly well without the external 6-pin power supply (the default PSU doesn't have one), however after installing the card in the PCIe x16 1.0 slot, there's no fans, lights, device manager, no anything to show the gfx card has been recognised at all. Any ideas? Cheers

I have a Legion 5i gaming laptop with GTX 1650 graphics card. Yesterday Nvidia released new Driver update for Watch Dogs Legion. Should I update the drivers through Geforce Experience as few years back it was like that only the graphics drivers provided by the laptop manufacturer shoul be used in laptops. Is it safe to update through Geforce Experience or wait and hope that lenovo will some day provide an update for the drivers.

okay so before everyone starts saying gtx 1650 is bad for value i have an oem build which the psu has no 6pin connectors so the best card with 75w of power was the gtx 1650 single fan. its been working fine but maybe the i7 3rd gen is too strong for it since like it sits on 20-30% while the card is like at 100 and i know thats not necessarily too bad since the other way around is worse but like maybe the game is not that processor demanding or is it that the chip is stronger or sth pls help

Hey guys, first post here, hope you are doing great! A couple days ago I got as a gift a new laptop, an Asus fx505gt (i5 9300h, 16GB RAM, GTX1650 and 500GB SSD). The laptop is awesome, I do coding at uni and for the renders and calculations I need to do its perfect + I can play games ocasionally with ease. The problem is this: I start the computer with only battery, everything goes fine. I now plug it to the wall, and the Intel UHD630 integrated graphics just starts spiking consstantly to 100% usage no matter what, even if all programs are closed and I'm at the desktop. CPU usage is normal in this situations, arround 2%-5%, no SSD load nor RAM, just the integrated graphics. This also happens viceversa: plug the laptop, turn it on, everything is fine, now un-plug it, and it starts freezing the graphics the same way. This goes away with just a restart. I don't know what to do, I have the latest drivers both Intel and Nvidia, tried reinstalling them, but nothing changed. Any help is welcome!

so I have this weird bug happening in dev builds in windows 11. The system process in task manager(ntoskrnl.exe) uses 15% of cpu everytime in background. But if I open GeForce experience, the system process goes 0. If I close then system usage borks to 15%. I don't know if it's issue with windows 11 build or my laptop itself.

Problem Description : For some reason, DWM.exe is crashing, causing my display to go black. This happens when immediately after i start a game(Vampire Masquerade Bloodhunt) or after loading into a match (Valorant). This started 2 weeks ago randomly and i did not make any recent hardware/software changes to my PC. Before this problem came to light i was running windows 11 for the past 4-6 months. The PC still functions and there is some glitchy audio output but no Display output. I have the app 'Remote Mouse' set up on my phone to control this PC, that is how i restart/shutdown once the screen goes black. Thing's I've tried: Adjusted Visual Effects for best performance Reinstalled last known Nvidia Driver that didn't cause crashes Reseating the Memory, NVME Drive, CPU and GPU (Basically rebuilding the whole PC after taking it apart) Trying the second PCIE Slot Using only one Ram stick (in the correct slot Obviously) Tried latest Nvidia drivers Restored from a system restore Memory Diagnostic Check sfc/scannow DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth Fresh Installed Windows 10 Removed start-up and background apps Uninstalled and reinstalled Nvidia Drivers through safe mode (DDU) Trying different Display Port/HDMI cable and Port combinations to my monitor Removing all usb devices and external Bluetooth adapter except for mouse and keyboard Resetting the BIOS PC Specifications : Ryzen 5 3600 .ASrock B450m Steel Legend Crucial P1 gen3 500gb NVME SSD INNO3D Geforce GTX 1650 Twin X2 OC Gskill Ripjaws V 3000mhz Ram 8gbx2 (16gb) Antec VP 500P (500W) PSU Acer VG240YP 165hz Monitor Please Note : I have never Overclocked (Or even tried to) any of the components. I am genuinely just fed-up and have tried every possible thing in the past week. Yet this problem persists. System info: it's a prebuilt pc i got from a electronics store (LENOVO LEGION T530 (AMD) i think.) (yes, i know prebuilts are bad, got it a couple years ago), so i don't know all the specs OS: Windows 10 64bit CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650 PSU: don't know what PSU exactly, internet tells me its either 350, 450 or 500W. 8GB RAM 2666 MHz DDR4 UDIMM Motherboard is also a mystery Storage: 512GB SSD My GPU fan spins at startup but then stops spinning unless pushed upward ~1 or 2 mm. Screws are properly fastened. Single fan GPU. No separate PSU power connector. (draws power from PCIe slot) When pushed up fan seems to work fine, bearing also seems fine. Pulled fan off motor(came off easily). There was a spring inside, is it supposed to be connected to something?. Plastic part of fan is fine. MSI Afterburner shows a constant 50% fan speed when set to auto, which wasn't a thing before.(not even originally when the problem came to be) I have never overclocked it. All other fans on the computer work fine. Is this repairable at home or do i need to send fan/GPU to repair shop, or buy replacement fan online or something else entirely?

My monitor its like bugged when i conncect it to my pc for the first few minutes and then works as normally by slowly dissappearing the lines, i tried redownloading drivers and goingo back to older nvidia drivers, also changed hdmi. I proved that its not the monitor since other devices dont act like that when connected.

First time posting here and first time going to build a pc. I am planning on buying a second hand PC with an i5 3470 on a Gigabyte H61 Motherboard with 4gb ddr3 ram. and then to slip in another 4gigs of ram, an SSD and a gtx 1650 or 1650 super. I was wondering if the motherboard will be compatible with the Graphics Card. And if it is, which card should i choose the 1650 or the 1650 super as the processor isn't really powerful and I Am not sure if the 1650 super would be worth it. Thanks.

Hello everyone, I need a little help, I recently purchased a new laptop (ASUS TUF fx505dt). Equipped with GTX 1650. As a Mechanical Engineer I have to work with CAD every day and the issue is that whenever I start SolidWorks 2018, the interface is Glitchy AF, basically the Interface literally unusable. I did some research and turns out solid works does support GTX 1650 and there is no news on when the support will come either form solidworks or form nvidia. I tried turning software OPENGL on and it basically made the interface very very slow and laggy AF. If someone is also having this issue and somehow with help of magic has solved this issue please HELP ME! Thank you, Shri_Bhura SW_gllitch.webm

Hello i am on a very tight graphic card budget, i found a deal for a new MSI Ventus SX oc edition GTX 1650 for $126 while there is the RX 570 that cost about $190 at least in my country, knowing that the performance between them is about 10 - 15% so is it worth it to pay the extra 64$ price difference for 10 - 15% performance or should i go with the GTX 1650

Hi, I'm going to refresh my pc but my budget is limited and I have 2 options. But first I should tell what build I actually have: -Pentium G4560 -GTX 1050ti -8GB DDR4 @2400MHz -240GB SSD + 1TB HDD -MSI H110m PRO-VD -SilentiumPC Vero L1 500W And now my main problem: CPU or GPU upgrade (I can only do one of them right now)? I've been thinking about i5 9400f but there will be a huge bottleneck because of 1050ti. Or maybe should I stay with G4560 for now and go for GTX1650/1060/RX580. EDIT: my budget is limited and these are my options, nothing better than that Right now my most played game is CS:GO and I know I should go for CPU upgrade but I'm coming back to Black Desert and because it's a great looking game I'm thinking about GPU upgrade. Beside games I'm doing some 3D modeling (AutoCAD/Inventor), photo editing (Photoshop), video editing (Sony Vegas) but this things are not that important. What do you think guys? Sorry for any grammar mistakes, english isn't my main language
