GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti are confirmed, they will be launched on 25 Octomber. 1050 will cost $109, while 1050 Ti, upgraded version, $139. They are done with 14nm Samsung FinFET process. With perfomance 1050 will be ~10% better than 950, having 75w TDP. Some of 1050's will have 4GB variants, but most of them will have 2GB. Nvidia says it has 3x perfomance compared to 650, and 2x perfomance compared to 750 Ti. They got us few game fps numbers, but based on my searchings they are very false. On Dota 2 it says game has 63fps average on highest settings, while in real time GTX 950 can have 110-115fps average on ultra settings at 1080p. Same goes for GTA V, Nvidia states that you will be able to play 60fps on medium settings, while 950 can do High - Very High settings with 60fps mark. So I suggest you to wait real benchmarks. 1050 Ti will be slightly upgraded 960 with 4GB, Chinese website dropped benchmarks and it showes us, that 1050 Ti is better than 950 by 25%. However we have yet to see launch day drivers to optimize games for 1050 graphics cards, so we can't say anything exactly yet. Source: http://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-pascal-announce/ EDIT: forgot to mention, 1050 Ti can reach up to 1.8-2GHz with OC. It has been confirmed by people who have hands on this card.

I'm looking to upgrade my current computer setup. I'm looking at getting a Intel Core i5 3570 and pairing it with an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti. I know the graphics card will hold up with some newer AAA titles, but I'm wondering if the CPU is too outdated and if it will bottleneck the GTX 1050 or even not be able to run newer games. Some of the games I'm looking to run are Black Ops 3, Fallout 4, Battlefield 1, and GTA V.

I have a GTX1050Ti in my inventory that was given to me from a friend. I currently have a 960, so I want to use it to upgrade. However, there's one big problem: The card was previously short circuited. They brought it back to their seller and got a new card since they had warranty, and gave up the "broken" one to mine, so I'm hoping anyone in the community knows a way to fix a short circuited card. It'll SOMETIMES work and give output, but most of the time there's no signal from the card. Fans will spin though. I'm thinking it's the outputs that's been broken. And yes, I've tried all the sockets. Details on how it happened: My buddy plugged in his Nintendo Switch OUTPUT cable (the cable you'd plug into your TV) into the HDMI INPUT of the card. I'm assuming the two signals mixed and went kerplowey?

I currently have a Mahobay motherboard using an Intel Pentium g2030 cpu. I'm also currently using it's integrated graphics, and was wondering how I would be able to determine whether or not I have the correct PCIe slot for a GTX 1050 Ti. Is there any software I could use to determine this? Because I can find Mahobay motherboards online, but all my PC's motherboard is called is just "Mahobay"

Hello! I'm pretty new to building gaming computers, and I have a question about the GTX 1050ti and being able to support dual monitors. The 1050ti has a Dual Link DVI-D port on the back. Is it possible to run two monitors with different displays on each just by using a splitter, or would I need a monitor with DisplayPort/HDMI? Any help is appreciated, thank you! (yes, my account is very new, had to sign up to post this.)

Hello everyone! My friend's computer yesterday began to restart at random times, after a cpu change from G3220 to i5 4460, and a bios update. His motherboard is a ASUS H81M-K. We updated the bios, then swapped the cpu to the 4460. We noticed some bend pins, but it was working before, so we just put in the i5, then turned on the machine. Everything was cool, until the "Display driver stopped working, then restored" thing happened like twice every minute. We updated the drivers for his gtx1050ti(4gb) for the latest ones, then this problem was gone. Then it started to randomly reboot itself. It seems like it doesn't matter if the pc is under heavy load or not, it reboots. The temperatures were okay, the cpu was around 45C , the gpu was at 60C at load. The voltages looked okay as well. He have some crappier type of 400W PSU, but it should work, as it worked well before. What should we try? We don't want to bend the pins back until it's not 100% that those cause the problems. I was thinking about reinstalling the system, as the current system lived through a cpu swap, a video card swap, and both 2 ram stick swap. But i'm afraid that during the installation it might restart at a point, so we will be pretty damned.

So I came into possession of two office pc's recently, both with clean copies of windows 7 running on them. I have stripped one of its ram and hard drive and installed those into the other. I recently purchased a GTX 1050 ti zotac mini since that was the only graphics card that a) fit in the case with the giant heat-sink that's already in there, and b) could power itself off the motherboard itself. Foolishly thinking that I would be able to play anything with decent graphics, I recently found that league of legends stutters and floats anywhere between 40 to 20 fps. Of all the games I expected to not work on my computer, I wasn't expecting this. I tested other games as well. Saints Row IV works fine, however Fez does not. This seemingly random selection of games that work and games that don't continued as I downloaded and tested them. I know now that it's probably some of the older components causing the issue, but the problem is I'm not sure which one? The ram? The CPU? I was hoping you all could look at the specs and tell me. I appreciate any and all respectful input. Model: HP Compaq 6000 Pro MT PC Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16 GHz 3.17 GHz Installed Memory: 8GB (this is DDR2, not sure if that matters or not, came with the computers) OS: Windos 7 Professional 64-bit PSU: HP 320W (also came with the computer, I plan on replacing this with a better power supply soon) GPU: GTX 1050 ti Zotac Mini 4gb Bios ver: 786G2 v01.09 I am by no means an expert in the slightest, so I don't know what is a red flag as far as performance goes. Thank you all for your time.

hello, I'm a young filmmaker and I was looking to buy a new laptop, Dell xps15 (gtx960m 2gb, or gtx1050 4gb) or Clevo (gtx965m in 2gb or 4gb) I'm a litte confused in terms of amount of cuda core's, I my mind this was about the most important spec for use with adobe premiere (as it supporsts CUDA) now the gtx960m (dell xps15 2016) has 640 cuda cores, and the gtx965m has 1024 cuda cores. in comparison the gtx1050(mobile) has also 640 cuda cores, and the gtx1050 TI has 768 cuda cores, wich is still les that the gtx965. also does 2gb and 4gb affect much, the gtx965m also available in 4gb vram. Is the gtx965 than better preforming than the much newer gtx1050 series or do I miss some key knowledge and components in this? so my question is witch graphics-card will run the best with cuda enabled progams (adobe premiere) ?, asuming they all use the intel Core i7-6700HQ, 16gb ram and a comparable ssd. thanks for the help greetings Dennis

So I created an account in here so that I could just post this. I've seen many others threads about this but none of the "fixes" work for me. I've recently bought a 144hz monitor but I'm having problems reaching 144 fps and I've seen that my GPU and CPU are having low usage percentages and I just can't figure out why can't the GPU and CPU have more usage. In the past I tried using a 144hz monitor of my friend on my laptop and I had a constant 250-300 fps so its more strange to me that I can't reach those same fps. Laptop Specs: - i7 7700HQ 2.8GHz (-100mV undervolt) - GTX 1050 4GB (+215 core, +400 memory clock) - 1x16GB DDR4 2400Mhz RAM - 128GB SSD (where cs go is installed) - 1TB HDD What I've already tried: - Set both windows power options and nvidia power options to maximum performance - Using a different HDMI cable - Uninstalling NVIDIA drivers using DDU and doing a clean installation - Uninstalling CS:GO and doing a clean installation - Disabling Steam Overlay and Overwolf

Hello, I found a Surface Book 2 13.5' for 1250 US$. Specs: Gtx 1050 (2GB), i7-8650U, 8 GB of Ram and 250 GB of NVMe SSD. Should I go for it ? I intend to use it primarily for writing (I want a well build machine with a good battery life, that's why I am considering this) and minor light gaming on games such as Civ V. Thnx in advance to anyone who might give his/her opinion.

SOLVED: CORSAIR RAM DOES NOT PAIR WITH RYZEN 1ST AND 2ND GEN I think this issue is caused by the GPU or power supply. When in games the graphics card drops to 0% and then immediately spikes to 100% causing the game to crash. The temps are fine and all drivers aside from BIOS are all latest versions. I started with a clean install of windows and nothing is overclocked. Does anyone know what causes this or how to solve it. Ive ran prime95 and kombuster for about an hour each an no issues. CSGO also ran fine, im having trouble with fortnite, rocket league, apex legends, sea of thives, etc. I've posted this on numerous subreddits to no avail CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G Motherboard: MSI B350M Mortar BIOS 1.F0 RAM: Corsair DDR4 2400Mhz 8Gb (one stick) GPU: GTX 1050 2GB Storage: 1tb seagate hdd PSU: Cooler Master 600 Masterwatt lite https://imgur.com/fuKtk5J Edit: I swapped out power supplies and that seems to have fixed most of the issues, however now I'm getting a memory management BSOD. I swapped my memory to slot 4 and that made the problem worse so I put it back to slot 2. I'm going to buy a new ram kit and see if that fixes anything. I want to try and flash an updated BIOS but I've never done it before, if someone could point me to a good guide it would be appreciated Edit 2: Updated BIOS, no luck Ruled out PSU and BIOS. Going to buy some new ram, wish me luck
