I was reassembling some parts on a new cabinet and came across a different looking GPU 6 pin power input. According to its manual, this GTX 1060 should have the following pin patter: From Left to right and top to bottom: Top Row = D D Square. Bottom row = Square D D. However the atual hardware i have here is as follow: Anomalous Pattern = Top Row = Square, Square, D. Bottom Row = D, D, Square. My power supply follows the correct patter, the first one, the one user manual says it should be. The power supply 6 pin pci connector connects fine with the GPU, despite having a different pattern. The thing is, Im not sure if its just a manufacturing defect or the problem extends to circuitry level. I don't know how this GPU was mounted on the old cabinet, for when i took the job the parts were already disassembled. The previews IT guy moved to another company and i have no way to contact him. I don't know how to troubleshooting this, and im afraid of burn the GPU. I welcome any advice. Thanks in advance for the attention.

HELLO, This is my first post in this forum! And Well, Back to 2019 i bought a GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5X (GTX 1060 GALAX REDBLACK), since she came to me, she sowed a little hight temperatures, arround 87 degrees in her stock fan courves, and I changed it (to a mode agressive one, and change the thermal paste too) after this, she get arround 83 degrees (90/100 degrees in hot spot), but in last months I heard a sound in her fans, and surprisely, one of than it s crashing and making so much noise, I searched in market for a replacement fan and I didint found anything (just a similar fan -Ga82s2h t128215sh galax gtx1060- but is not the same fit), I searched in Aliexpress, Ebay, Facebook... After this im considering to use 2 regular 120mm fans in my Gpu, but I dont know if they will hold her temperatures! Can Anyone Help me with this please?? And About the temperatures, I think that her cooling are too weak... THANKS!

RTX 3060 and RTX 4060 price: 1500 PLN RTX 4060 TI and RTX 3070 price: 2300 PLN So as you can see, the prices of some are the same and the parameters are different. The RTX 4060 is more powerful on a newer architecture but has 8GB of VRAM and 3072 CUDA cores. I heard that now 8GB VRAM is not enough as Davincy Resolve minimum requires 8 VRAM and on minimum requirements it doesn't matter if it's a game or a program it will work so-so. So there's the RTX 3060 which already has 12GB VRAM and 3584 CUDAs. I heard that CUDA and VRAM cores are the most important in video processing. If so, I think it would be a good choice. In the case of RTX 4060 TI and RTX 3070, there are also more CUDA cores, RTX 3070 has better parameters, but the RTX 4060 TI card is better in games. I don't know why it works like that.

I bought a second hand PNY GTX 980ti reference design, the card ran with no issues. I did notice in the early stages of use the reference cooler seemed that it couldn't handle the temperatures at that time i averaged 75°C to 85°C+. I made the decision to purchase the kraken G12 to solve this issue, as it did solve the gpu core temperatures after several weeks of used I encountered another issue random game crashes that eventually lead to my entire pc freezing. I did some research which lead me to suspect it was the memory, I tried using gpuz to get an accurate reading of the temperatures, i did not find any sensors that gives me a read out. I resorted to touching the memory from the backside of the pcb while at idle they felt very hot to touch so hot that a couple seconds of exposure would be painful. I then deicide to purchase vrm/memory heatsinks on amazon in the hope that it would solve my issue it did not I will provide pictures showing where I placed the heatsinks. I removed the gpu completely as I would like to avoid damaging it, any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks all. 20230707_105342.jpg

English isn't my native language so sorry for this I need help with my pc that doesn't boot anymore after I used DDU to unistall de gpu drivers and take off the gpu (gtx 1080) and give it to its owner, now, that I wanted to start my pc it doesn't boot anymore, it lights up the VGA led and the debug code sometimes shows "A0 and A4" (I have an aorus ultra z590) I tried to take off the ssd and hdd, I tried to clear de CMOS, retire the CMOS battery and nothing happend, still the same, I'm out of ideas... I hope someone can help me with this and thank you Edit: I borrow a gpu from a friend, re-enabled integrated onboard graphics, everything working again, maybe aorus no more, just problems since y change mobo...

Hi Guys, My PC is starting to show sings of slowness in certains games and I wanted to help increase what my GPU can do while I am stuck with my curent processor (i5 4690K) So I am curently looking for an little stable overclock either onto MSI Afterburner or Zotac FireStorm (I got both) I think my cooling is sufficient enough that I don't need to worry (at least for right now) So if anyone could help me unlock at bit more power from this hunk of a GPU I got for now and later as I'll change my CPU as soon as i could since I am bootlenecked Thanks

Does anybody know what drivers to use so I can get a 1080 or a 2080 to to work with a tesla M40 in the same system? Currently using a quadro with a Tesla M40 but I want to upgrade the quadro without paying the quadro tax again. Is there any way to mod the drivers so they pick up the gtx or RTX card as a quadro?

Hey! For the last 2 years or so I've been struggling with some graphical issues occuring in my playthroughs of various video games on my new PC. Jagged edges, pixelated hair, water, sometimes reflections. I tried many fixes that I found on the internet but none of them helped. That includes: - Updating, Downgrading, Reinstalling drivers - Messing with Antialiasing options in the NVidia Control Panel - Using NVidia's overlay to sharpen or desharpen visuals - Messing with In-Game AA Options (I was able to make it look better in some cases, but wouldn't count it as a FIX) - Cleaning the Graphics card, removing it, putting it back again - Checking how it looks on different monitors (1366x768 Samsung, 4K Philips TV) - Changing HDMI to DisplayPort with different cables - more which I don't exactly remember now At first I thought that it was due to my old monitor not working well together with a newer graphics card, so I upgraded and got the 1080p treatment I finally deserved. Got dissapointed though, as the issues still occured. Seems like every game I play has this noisy overlay on top of it that somehow jaggs (if that's a term) the edges of the games, over-sharpens it. They just don't render right. What could be the cause? How do I fix this? If I change my graphics card will the issue still occur? I attached some screenshots & videos. I need help!! Here's a list of some games I had these issues with: - RDR2 - Stray - GTA 4 & V - Marvel's Spider-Man (& Miles Morales) - Mount & Blade II Bannerlord - Final Fantasy XV - No Man's Sky - Dying Light - Shadow Warrior 2&3 - Skyrim - Minecraft - Cyberpunk 2077 - Rainbow Six Siege And here's my machine: AORUS B450 ELITE AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Gigabyte GTX 1660 6GB 32GB RAM G.Skill Aegis DDR4 3000Mhz (4x8GB) Monitor: Acer VG240YS 165Hz

Hi, I have a GTX 1660 Asus pheonix edition. The temps are pretty high (over 90 degrees C) when stress testing. I have ordered new heat pads for the VRAM and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for the chip. When I opened it up there was barely any thermal paste on the chip and it had also dried out. Is there any other things I can do to improve temps. I run the fans at 85 using MSI afterburner but anymore that that and it is extremely loud. Could I buy an aftermarker cooler, A new fan, new heatsinks, etc. So I can get better temps. I bought this GPU when the gpu price was extremely high (2021) and you could not buy them anywhere. This was the only new GPU I could find for 600AUD and having a look now they have gone down to about 300AUD.

Hey everyone. After a few weeks of gaming with the new 7900xtx, I can say I am fairly satisfied with performance. Undervolting has been less than stable, but I can still pull above 200 fps at 1440p in most titles while maintaining a 95 degrees or less junction temp. My question is, in light of all of the issues that have arisen with the new AMD gpu thermals, would I be better off returning the card and buying a 4080 long term? I have about half a month left to return the card to micro center and I can’t decide if I want to or not. Any help would be appreciated and I’m excited to hear what you guys think!

Hey everyone So I've been noticing lower fps in games and slightly more stutter. I have been busy with work so haven't had much time to throw myself into single player games. Mostly been playing csgo and LoL. I was wondering why the other day I got lower FPS in csgo roughly 150ish with a GTX 1070 and i7-8700. Today I check MSI afterburner and it seems that my core clock and memory clock are stuck. The memory clock doesn't ever go pas 810Mhz but majority of the time sits at 405Mhz. I wonder if this card is "dead". Anyway if anyone has any ideas why this would randomly happen let me know ! My 3060 will arrive tomorrow but still pretty bummed to find out about the 1070 Thanks in advance !

Budget (including currency): 500$ Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: arcgis, cyberpunk, csgo, elden ring, autocad and some more remote sensing softwares which are CPU oriented. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I got an old dell OptiPlex workstation for free with lga 1155 mobo I added a i7 3770k that I got for 80$ ebay got an gtx 1080 for 150$ ebay 32 gigs of ddr3 2.5 1tb adata ssd for 65$ I have a 1080p monitor laying around Should I try OC on cpu on same motherboard, change the motherboard? change psu ( currently generic dell one) Still have around 150$ in my budget. also a good cheap wireless mechanical keyboard suggestion. anything else i can do?

I'm currently running a 8gb GTX 1080. Its a great card for gaming at 1440p and I'm very happy with it. Besides gaming, I'm also a graduate architecture student so productivity is also important to me. I've been wating to get into 4k gaming a ray tracing. As for productivity, quicker renders in vray would be great. I'm also looking to mess around with machine learning and image generation. Would an upgrade to the 4080 be a good idea- assuming i can get one at msrp? Or would a 2nd-hand 3080 be more bang for buck?

Hi, I saw a asus gtx 750 ti for a resealable price but I wonder if it will work in my msi g41m-p33 combo motherboard. I keep getting conflicting information, some say it dose some say it dose not. I don't think the motherboard has uefi which I know is a requirement for some graphics cards.

Hi there so recently bought a pre-built custom computer for that so nothing off eBay it came with a Amd ryzen 5 3400g processor 16 gb of ddr4 ram and a new gtx 1650 (gddr6) added 120 mm aio cooler on the cpu and have found an amazing deal had a titan X Maxwell 12 GB even though the card is seven years old it should still be able to outperform with 1650 I should be able to sell the current 1650 for £100 which would bring the PC back under the £500 budget the spare power supply I will probably just be kept in case of an emergency i’m also going to be spending £60 on a full 240 mm all in one GPU cooler with the kraken g12 and a corsair aio. text.txttext.txt

I bought this gpu 2 days ago, seller was reliable, he ran 3d mark on gpu, everything was fine, so i bought it and came home with it. Plugged into pc, installed drivers, ran some games, everything was fine. Than i opened msi kombustor and run tests, but in the the tests i labeled with the red square ( not the furmark msi ) artifact scanner is f***d up as you can see in the images. What is interesting is that all 6 broken tests are open gl.The gpu is zotac gtx 950 single fan 2 gb. I dont know what to do, i'm frustrated from the problem, every help appreciated!!!
