This is like my 10th post about lists and asking for help, sorry for the spam... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Helpful stuff: • Link to cables I made: https://store.cablemod.com/configurator/#cfgload:5b10cc5dd34fd2.86913376 • Link to PcPartPicker parts list(with the Cablemod cables): https://pcpartpicker.com/user/MadeInChina_O69/saved/bL8nnQ Is this all the cables I need from ? • 24 pin ATX - for mobo • 8 pin ECT - for mobo(cpu) • 2x 8pin PCI-E - for gpu • SATA power - for ssd(for font window) • Triple SATA power(if included with PSU) - for hhd, kraken cooler • Duel+ Molex power(if included with PSU) - for NZXT Hue+ and NZXT usb hub ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Questions: • Is this all the connections I will need to have all my stuff powered in the pc? • Whould I benifit using modmesh? Or nylon? • If I stay with coustom PSU cables will the cables match the rest of the build? • Would the hue+ and included “smart” device in the h700i beable to controll all the rgb and if fans? • Do the fans connect to the mobo or “smart” device? If they connect to mobo will it be controlled by cam or asus? And will I have enough headers if not is there a good fan splitter? If connected to “smart” device how do I do that?

Hello everyone, This is my first post on the forum and also my first time building my own PC. I considered purchasing a prebuilt unit from a company like Digital Storm or Maingear but 1. Their prices seemed abhorrently high/marked up and 2. I wanted very specific things done to my system performance-wise and aesthetically and I didn't think I would be holistically satisfied if I didn't plan, purchase, and build my rig myself. So at this point, I have already purchased all the hardware I think I need and everything has either already shipped on its way to me or has arrived already. My parts list is as follows: Case- NZXT H700i (includes 3 120mm intake fans and 1 140mm exhaust, 2 LED strips, and integrated smart controller for fans and lighting) Motherboard- Gigabyte AORUS Z370 Gaming 5 LGA 1151 WiFi Processor- Intel core i7 8700k Processor cooling solution- NZXT Kraken X72 Memory- 32gb (4x8gb sticks) G Skill Trident RGB 3000mhz Storage- Samsung 960 EVO NVMe series 250gb M.2 SSD, Seagate Nytro 512gb SATA SSD Video Card- EVGA FTW3 GTX 1080ti Hybrid water cooled GPU Power Supply- EVGA SuperNova G3 750w 80 Plus Gold As far as displays go I have 2 VIOTEK 32 inch 144hz refresh rate, 4ms response time, 1440p monitors on the way which I'll be mounting to the wall in a dual setup (one on top of another) via articulating VESA arms (I already ordered the adapters for VIOTEK's weird mounting hub). I also decided to be legit lol and purchase Windows 10 home edition for full price instead of trying to find a license key somewhere online. So after all that, I basically have 5 questions for the community: 1. I did as much research as I could in respect to compatibility but from what you see is this list compatible and will I have an okay-alright time putting these parts together and assembling my rig to a moment of powering on and booting up "out of the box" (knock on wood!)? 2. Is there anything I missed in regards to the build or to achieve my goal of constructing a high-end workstation/gaming platform? 3. Do you recommend anything or have any tips for a first time, tech loving n00blet like myself once all the parts come in and I start building? 4. What do you recommend I setup in regards to case airflow and my two AIO radiators (CPU and GPU). Should I stick with the NZXT fans that come with the case and the Kraken X72 and the 1 that comes with the EVGA FTW3 GPU? 5. Is there anything (within reason) that you would change or add to help streamline my rig and goals of a workstation/gaming platform or to the setup altogether (monitors, arrangement, etc.)? Thanks in advance to anyone that takes the time to reply. I'm beyond excited to be baptized by RGB-fire into the glorious PC Master Race. *insert giggles*

Hi guys, This is my first post here so first of all, hello! My current mobo has died (MSI Gaming 5 Z97) so I'm going to upgrade now (I was going to wait for Zen2 and Canonlake as my i7-4790K was doing fine) to an AMD Ryzen 2700X. I just replaced my PSU as the old one was playing up, to a CORSAIR CX650 ATX PSU - 650W. My question is, will it be enough for a 2700X which I plan to OC as far as it will go - so about 4.2-4.3Ghz. The rest of my system specs are: Asus Crosshair VII X470 (ordering with CPU) Team Group Dark Pro " Edition" 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz (ordering with CPU) Cooler Master MasterAir 8 CPU cooler MSI GTX 1080Ti Gaming X 500GB Samsung 850 EVO (SATA M.2) SSD 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD 1TB Western Digital HDD Will the 650W I just bought be enough or do I need to sell it and go for a 750W or higher? Thanks in advance, Iain.

Please use 32-bit application instead." but my Windows 10 is 64-bit even I have reinstalled Windows 10 but I get the same messange. WTF! Any idea? my GPU model: GV-N108TAORUS-11GD

Hey guys, I am building a pc with the the following config. Pls suggest modification or changes if necessary. Thx in advance. Components Mobo:asus maximus x hero with wifi Cpu: i7 8700k Gpu:gigabyte aorus gtx1080ti waterforce (water cooled) (pre-assembled one) Ram:trident 32gb(4x8gb) ddr4 2666Mhz Psu:850W platinum modular(probably evga) Case:cant decide. Need full tower for future expansion Would like at least 4x usb on front and a optical drive bay. Also tempered glass and cable management. (ps. I live in a hot area where temps is summer can reach upto 46°C so passive cooling isnt much of an option). Also i need air filters on all intakes. Cpu cooler:nzxt kraken(pre assembled water cooler) Case fan:depends on how many come with case. Storage: samsung 960pro m.2 512gb for os and software, 2x 1tb 850pro samsung and 2x2tb seagate firecuda hybrid. Monitor: probably a 240hz gaming monitor Keyboard and mouse:mechanical(razor) Os:win 10 editors edition. Misc: usb 3.1 gen 2 extention card, optical drive(r/w dvd bluray) (pls suggested a good and fast one) Use for pc: 1.heavy coding 2. Circuit simulations 3. Running lots of ram intensive coding ide for embedded system together. 4. Heavy gaming 5. Video editing (4k) 6.overclocking 7. Future proofing(would most likely not upgrade for 5 to 6 years) The softwares i will be using are very demanding and are able to benifit from multicore performance. I will also be using it for software development. Basically i want a balanced system for gaming as well as productivity. Will most probably run high end games. Want it as cheap as possible without compromising stability. I dont want a cheap pc rather i want one with good power to cost ratio. A little rgb may not hurt but dont want to overdo it. Pls tell me if i miss anything. All suggestions are welcome. Thx

Hi Guys My Threadripper 1950x System will not power on once I have plugged in a SATA SSD. I have checked all SATA ports in the BIOS and enabled every port but they still don't So I currently have an M.2 SSD in the System as my boot drive but when I plug in a SATA SSD or even 2 the Power supply clicks and does not power on at all. As soon as I remove the SATA SSD the system will turn on again and boot Fine.

I’ve recently been trying out new games and noticed that two games in particular run terribly with my setup one being escape from tarkov where I can’t get more than 40 FPS and rust where I can’t get more than 40 FPS as well. Both of these games ran much better when I had my gtx 970 opposed to my 1080ti! In both of these games my cpu and gpu usage appears to be very low after monitoring them in task manager and msi afterburner. A little side note I’ve wiped my pc twice completely and reinstalled drivers to make sure I have no conflicting drivers.i initially thought it could be the cpu but even that has little usage in these games. Most other games run fine including pubg which I run at an average of 80 FPS on max settings. my system gtx 1080ti i7-4790k @4.0ghz (I know I should overclock it) 16gb ddr3 ram gigabyte z97x-sli motherboard corsair 750 gold power supply Both games are on my 128 gigabyte boot ssd windows 10 64 bit

Hi! I've built my first system but since then I have experienced FPS drops/stuttering, this are my specs: Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.5GHz 16GB RAM (CMU16GX4M2C3200C16) @ 3000Mhz GTX 1080ti Aorus (GV-N108TAORUS-11GD) Motherboard: Aorus Gaming K5 AX370 SSD 480GB HDD 480GB PSU 750W 80 Plus Bronze: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1 Monitor: Asus Predator XB271HU 2560x1440 @ 165Hz (by now I only have 2 games Battlefield 1 and PUBG) The first days stuttering (sometimes crashes) were caused by a high usage of pagefile instead of RAM, after fix the pagefile problem that was causing crashes on games and constant stuttering, I noticed some micro-stuttering every 1~2 minutes, using afterburner I have noticed there are energy drops on GPU (the energy on the power % chart sometimes goes to 50% from a 90 %) but sometimes those energy drops not match with the FPS drops, sometimes it does. another thing I also have noticed is the frametime which sometimes is very high (300 ~ 500 ms) the systme temperature underl full load are great both CPU and GPU has never reached 70° -celsius degrees- (I believe 65° is the highest temp I have seen while gaming). Things I have tried: Clean installation of Windows 10 Search for virus Install all C++ libraries Run the system without any OC applied I have to mention that my RAM is running at 3000 MHz because at 3200 MHz my system isn't stable, right now I can't stop my GPU fans once they start spining the only way to stop them is rebooting Windows (both afterburner and aorus graphic engine don't detect the fans speed), and for last I have noticed at the BIOS that the voltage on the CPU vcore are higher when I use the default frequencies than with OC applied (I've reached 3.5 GHz without increasing voltages on the CPU) I'm attaching some files where you can see my FPS drops, voltage, temps, etc.. I'll be very grateful for any help. *English isn't my native language, I'm apologize for any grammatical error* BIOS volatge: This are the files I've uploaded I don't know why the other links doesn't work GPU-Z Sensor Log.txt BF1 chart.hml PUBG chart.hml

Hey guys, I'm new here. So, I am starting to finalize my build, and I've come on to a couple of questions; but first of all here's the build I'm planning on doing; Intel Core I7-8700K - Processor Asus Z370-A Pro - Motherboard Seagate Barracuda 3TB - HDD Samsung 850 EVO 250GB - SSD Corsair Vengeance 2x 8GB - Ram Fractal Design Meshify C - PC case Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 - CPU cooler EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3 - Power Supply Dell S2417DG Black - Monitor And my GPU may become: Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080Ti Twin x2 Mouse keyboard headset etc already purchased. My plan with this PC is mainly for content creation of high demanding games, and streaming them too. My questions are; 1. Does the graphics card I have chosen fit in my desktop? And is it compatible? PC Partpicker does not have this graphics card as an option filtered. 2. Is the power supply I have chosen enough for my PC in the future for when I am looking to maybe overclock or stream? 3. Is there maybe an alternative or any advice you guys may have on my build / graphics card of choice?? Sorry for the long post, I hope you guys will be able to help me out with this, this is my very first PC build, and my own desktop, so that's why I've grasped the top notch parts in the market. Criticism and advice is actually appreciated because I am always willing to learn more. Thank you!!

Hello, I'm from Brazil, so I apologize for any language error. Recently I upgraded the cpu from a i5 4460 for a i7 7700k, so i got a little money selling the older cpu, mobo etc. I currently own a GTX 1060 3GB from galax, and a samsung 1080p 60hz monitor, so i was thinking to buy a GTX 1080ti, then my PC would be done, i7 7700k and a GTX 1080ti would run anything for a long time. But a 1080ti for a 1080p 60hz monitor would be overkill, so I was thinking on buying a new monitor instead, a 2.5k 144hz one, but i don't think that my 1060 would be able to carry that, couldn't find many benchmarks of the 1060 on 2.5k. Then, should i buy a 1080ti, run games on highest presets on a 1080p 60hz monitor with a lot of wasted frames, or buy a 2.5k 144hz monitor and run barely on 60fps and wait maybe a few months to get a 1080ti? Pc Specs: i7 7700k GTX 1060 3GB 16GB 2400MHZ RAM Corsair 650W plus gold power supply

have anyone been having problems with your GTX 1080Ti OC's?, i have major issues with one of my cards, and i cant figure out if its a software or hardware issue.. Hardware i am running: motherboard: Asus rampage iv black edition Cpu: intel 4960x (2011) Gpu: 2 x gtx 1080ti oc Ram: 32gb Storage: samsung evo ssd and a cupple of hdd's Psu: Corsair AX1200 Operating software: Windows 10 (pro edition) "Desktop Window Manager" are taking 92-99% of GPU.1 and GPU.0 is at around 5-6% at idle, as u can see in my screenshot: the only thing i am doing that should use some % of my GPU is the Youtube video i am watching, but even that should only take a max of 25% or something around that figure.. atleast not anymore than that. what do u guys/girls think it could be? can it be a faulty gpu or can it be a software issue? any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi, Last week I build my new and first pc and it is not showing the performance i have seen on some benchmarks and gamplay video's where they have the same system. In games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Counter strike I only use lower than 50% of my cpu and gpu. When I play Pubg on low settings I only get 45 fps, when my friend play's it he get's on medium setting 120fps with a GTX 1060. I have tried to edit the nvidea setting like on some forums but it didn't improve anything. Here are my Specs: Processor: i7 7700k (not overclocked) Videocard: Asus strix GTX 1080TI Moherboard: Asus Prime Z270-A RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2x8) ddr4 2666 CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 Power supply: Corsair RM750i Operating system: Windows 10 Home 64 bit SSD: SanDisk SSD Plus 240 GB HDD: Western digital 500GB

I'm planning to buy Alienware 15 R4 with i7-7700HQ and GTX 1060. My concern is if I need more graphics power in future will I be able to utilize GTX 1080Ti using the graphics Amplifier? How many dedicated PCIe Express Lanes are there in Alienware's Graphics Amplifier port? How many PCIe Express Lanes are there for Thunderbolt™ 3 USB Type-C™ Port? Does it also support external gpu with solutions like Razer Core? While external GPU is connected, does the internal GPU still work? As in will it be using both the gpus (internal and external) simultaneously in dual-gpu configuration?

Sup, building a new rig this winter and I'm debating on whether to get the EVGA FTW3 Gaming or MSI Gaming X Trio. Would love some thoughts or opinions. This is slightly off topic, but what's your opinion of the Asrock Taichi Z370 vs MSI Gaming M5? If I get the EVGA Card I'd go Asrock MB and I'd get the MSI MB if I get the MSI Card. Thanks

So I've finally decided to drop a few grand on my very first setup.. I've never owned a computer. The only thing I do know I want is an 8700k chipset and I can't think of anything other than the 1080ti as the graphics card.. my question is which mobo and ram do you suggest for a great gaming setup.. and RGB all parts that are feasible.

What’s up guys, after about 6 years running an i3 550 (clarkdale) @ 4.5 ghz and a gtx 560ti I'm finally putting together a new build. I’ve assembled a list of components on Newegg and wanted your opinion on cost/performance or just any insights you might have about it: https://secure.newegg.com/Wishlist/SharedWishlistDetail?ID=iK%2fIHWspASSaS%2birKA39hg%3d%3d the only things not included in that list are the ram and case. I plan to buy G.Skill trident Z rgb ram. I opted for the 3200mhz and cas 14 since I heard they use the better Samsung di. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFH6R73/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_MwlcAb2MC6E8C And an NZXT H700i. I know it’s overpriced but I really like the design and I’m willing to drop $200, but I’m open to suggestions if you think there’s a better case for the cash: https://www.nzxt.com/products/h700i-matte-black With all that I’m at ~$2,517.70. Do you think I could do better with that budget? Thanks!
