I was playing GTA V on my friends PC and the system ram was only 200-300mb shy of 8gb. Similarly video ram was in excess of 3.5GB so GG GTX 970 owners. So a warning to everyone building a PC. Make sure you get a GPU better than 970 (290X/390X or 980/980 TI) and 16GB of RAM if you want to play AAA titles on ultra settings. Hi, I'm running an asus g75vw-bbk5. The specs are here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230580 I have the 1TB HDD that came with the computer as a slave. My OS is installed on a 64gb ssd. Around 45 days ago, it started just randomly running sluggish. I don't have the exact time it started happening, but I'm pretty sure it happened after a trip to orlando with my girlfriend. I brought the laptop with me. The problem is that my computer, overall, is acting a bit more sluggish. The killer is that the two games I want to play are league of legends and grand theft auto v. League runs fine and has very random fps spikes, where it freezes momentarily and causes me unable to move to see my opponents moves. It makes it really frustrating. I had this problem with league before for a long time, but the issue just magically went away at some point. It might have had to do with me reinstalling the OS a while back. I'm not sure it that is even relevant. This time it's happening a LOT more frequently than before, though. GTAV has a super noticeable drop in performance. I used to be run GTAV on fairly high settings just fine (around 30 to 40 fps, im guessing?) Now when I load in the game, it's either unplayable or not enjoyable in terms of frame rate lag. The settings were still the same, and I also tried lowering the settings but i still have really bad framerate. I tested my harddrive with crystal disk info and it says my hdd is in "good" condition. My ssd is in "good" condition with "99%" I've yet to run memtest86 but i will once I get ahold of a working usb stick later today. -
Hey guys!, I plan to create a whole gaming community for players with similar interest and situations. As you may have read from my previous post I am heading of to my freshman year of College. Therefore gaming will be hard to get to. So my plan is for people in my similar situation to get to gather here on LTT and play as much as our hearts can handle. So Whats this for? Players who have no one to enjoy games with. Players who have little time to play but have peace of mind of know there will be other when online. People who want to stream with others or on youtube. People who enjoy Minecraft People who enjoy GTA People who enjoy Bf4 People who enjoy Rocket Legue People who just want fun on PC! The reason why I want to do this is because after building my PC all my friends play console and the PC ones play games that I don't. my friend has got three asus vn247h screens and gta wont run in dual or tripple screen mode? he has one xfx r9 290 and he is willing to drop settings a bit down to run on two or three screens.

I am getting a weird crash every time at the exact same place. During the Blitz Play mission when I as Franklin tries to get into the garbage truck, the game crashes. I even lowered down my graphics settings to as minimum as possible but still the problem exists. I have googled it, tried a few workarounds but none of them helped to solve it. My System: Intel i3 4030U Nvidia 830M 8GB RAM The game is awesome and doesn't lag at all even in high settings with a very good playable frame rate of 45+ but this error has stopped my game and I cannot continue in the story just fooling around now in the city with the 3 idiots. Can anybody help me out?

Okay so im troubleshooting my friends computer Specs CPU- AMD Phenom x4 965 @ 3.4 stock speed RAM- 8gb ram @ 1333mhz GPU- AMD 5750 1gb gddr5 MOBO- ASUS M5A97 r2.0 HDD- 1tb hdd PSU- Thermaltake TR2 600w The Problem Everything within windows runs fine. Initially would blue screen when playing gtav but I've replaced a stick of ram and it no longer blue screens. however gtav will load up and play for a bit but when i enter a heist it will blur over grey and not load. if i continue playing eventually things will start turning black especially at night they go pitch black (cant see a thing). Civilizations V won't start up from steam at all i click the button then nothing happens. What I've Done Replaced ram with no effect to the problems (but still could be the ram slots) Cloned hdd while it was blue screening with no effect. Currently cloning hdd again to see if that solves the problem Ran CCleaner and malwarebytes nothing bad found and cleaned up some things Dust removed and man was it bad; I had to take it outside with a vacuum and 5+ minutes of blowing. Dont know what to do if this clone fails Please Help

Hey guys, I seem to be able to only run the game on HIGH @ 60fps + or - 20 in the city and outback. According to many benchmarks, I should be getting this on Very High. + on Singe Player with pop set to 25% I get around 40 and I just hate it. I'll have to drop everything to normal to play smoothly.. My advanced options are all off, 2xmsaa, etc etc. I have an i7-2600, 16gb of G.Skill RAM and an RS750w PSU. I've also notice I average 60fps on Far Cry 4 with HUGE drops to 40 and even 35. Could it be my PSU? Or my card? Or is what I'm getting really what I should be getting? Thanks for any help. Regards

Hey guys, since GTAV was out i've been saying tons of people complaining about it crashing either in Story or Online mode. Well since about 4 days ago (last patch) i have been getting this particular error when i try to do a Heist (about midway) "You have been d/c due to your account being logged in elsewhere". I have tried changing password, reinstalling and dropping texture quality (just in case its a GPU related problem) but it keeps on happening. Note that i ONLY crash on Heists, nothing else. My setup: CPU: i7 4790k GPU: gtx760 DirectCU II 2gb RAM: 16gb Any assistance in this will be greatly appreciated and i ask that, people who are having the same problem not spam it in the response section since it will just make it more messy.\ Should you require any more info to get a better view of this ask me freely.

Question & Answer: New player ask some question about GTAV(Online): After I create a character (Level1) How do I create a job for money and level, or wait and join another people that invite me to their Heist? How to Lock up my car that only I can drive, a lot of player drive my car during heist and destroyed it. Any 1 can share a list that show RANK12 can create what Heist and (Name / Money / RP) information. How to disable myself that not enable to kill in freemode. (Cant shoot each other) Suggest a Cool Car with Speed, and a Car that can modify with FULL Armor can Bring up 4 person into Heist. Thanks to help this. :lol: :wub:

Hi guys, Lately in GTA V I've been getting lower FPS than what I should be expecting. I run the game on mostly high and very high (which is what the game set for me on first launch) and I get anywhere between 30-80fps with an average of around 45 fps. This is strange because my specs are at at least equal to the recommended -- if not better. What I've tried so far is first downloading the beta 15.4 drivers from AMD which didn't change anything. I then tried turning down the settings: no matter if I changed everything to the lowest settings or changed the resolution down from 1080p my fps would not change. I'm lost now. My questions are what FPS do you think I should expect? Am I over-estimating my PC? If I'm not, what can I do about this if anything? Could it potentially be an optimisation issue? My specs: i7 3770k @ 3.50ghz stock 8GB ram MSI r9 290x Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

So as the title says, this is really a rough and ready guide as to what you can expect over a range of cards and settings. It's not an in-depth analysis by any means (and I would have loved if he'd included minimum frames as well as average) So here you go: http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2015/04/15/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-version-benchmarked-across-14-nvidia-and-amd-graphics-cards/ BTW for those saying "you NEED more than 2GB vram".. Just no. 2GB cards run fine, for their power, more ram would have minimal effect on performance. The game seems pretty well optimized for mid range or older cards, No you won't run all the settings max'd but then when could you ever run a Trip A title max'd with a mid range or aging GPU. Anyway, I hope this is useful as it covers a wide range of cards and performance ranges / budgets and lets you know roughly what you can expect to get fps wise. I bought GTA V hoping that my dual core pentium G3258, was sufficient with my overclock beeing 4.5 GHz. But when i run the game my average fps in the city is around 30 fps, no mater what my graphics settings are (exept for MSAA and anti-aliasing then they'll dip way below). Naturaly I jumped to the conclusion that it was my CPU that was lagging behind, but in LinusTechTips' new video about GTA V (vessel.com) they test GTA V on a dual core, and get 51 fps. I was just wondering if it could be possible to get my game running with a average fps preferably around 40-50 (or higher of course ). My setup: Intel Dual-Core Pentium G3258 4.5 GHz XFX AMD Radeon HD 7970 8 Gb ram

after about 15 minutes of constant playing at 70-100 fps on normal settings i start to get lag spikes. Usually happens when i crash hard, or drive fast. I have all the latest drivers, not sure what the issue is? I don't think its my graphics card, but i could be wrong. What do you think? Ok as the title states i want to know what settings i should use if anyone has any suggestions, i have:¨' 8GB of ram FX-6300 MSI OC GTX750TI id love some sugestions and i have played about 85-90% of the storry and then my framerate died fsr i dont get why it was "fine" before and shit now, im anyways geiing an upgrade to my PC in a couple of months and then il be able to play it maxed out i think, but untill then i want suggestions of settings, right now im on medium to low settings ongly FXAA as antialiasing and fulscreen windowd mode. what should i change and wich ones are CPU related and wich ones GPU related, my current setting are puching my cpu 99% and im ongly using half my VRAM so.. im not good with setting so i want some help please

Hey Guys! I am trying to get an upgrade from my N4050 and I have built this computer system. Please check it out and tell me if there is something wrong here. I am assuming that there are a lot of wrong things here. My goal is to play GTA V and I needed a decent CPU for Minecraft. I don't want to go above 1080p. And if possible help me reduce the price. Hi guys, So i was playing GTAV, and I just don't get what's the point of the character attributes. Lung capacity I understand, since not breathing in water has a definite impact on the character's capable duration in the water. But, the characters can sprint unlimitedly, how does stamina work then? -

So I haven't been totally paying attention to ubisoft but what exactly happened to watch dogs? The game looked great in the trailer but where did it go? I want them to just take my money but I don't know when that is going to be.
