Hey guys, Me and a friend of mine are looking for more players to join us in GTA Online. We're currently running heists, CEO work/crates and MC supplies/deliveries on a daily basis + the daily objectives when they can't be soloed. We're mostly doing all these by ourselves and with the occasional randoms, but it just feels incomplete. We use TS3 public servers for easy communication, because it's free and the sound quality is quite good. If you're interested, just leave a reply here with your Rockstar Social Club ID and we'll find you, or you can find me. Cheers, Chris

Hello, I was hoping that someone might know how to make it where my friend and I could play on a "public server" (so we can actually do bunker and hanger missions) without having all the ***hats ruining our attempts by spawn killing? I know there is a way to make yourself the only one in a public server by blocking the UDP ports but am hoping there is another way to allow 1 other friend to join in? It is extremely frustrating having to server hop to find the smallest lobby possible to actually accomplish what we want to do and I wish Rockstar would just give us the option to have it that way. We are both at college in the same dorm room. What I tried was blocking the ports on the router so our computers (on the same LAN) would be open but it results in both of us just showed both of us as offline to each other. Would it work if I throttled the network connection on the other side of the router (WAN) to cause timeouts for everyone else? Anyway, please let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions on the matter. Thanks, SgtKilgore406 P.S. Before anyone spams the same old rhetorical argument of "you just have to deal with it" then let me tell you that being spawn killed constantly takes any bit of fun (which is the whole point of playing video games, to have fun) out of playing the game with a friend. We don't have a lot of time in our lives right now to just "get good" and it would be nice to just play more leisurely in the spare amounts of time we do have.

Hey guys. So I bought a new GPU, my current system specs are: CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3Ghz GPU: Gtx 1050 ti msi 4gb 4 GB of ddr 3 RAM (2x2gb) Now, in GTA V i was supposed to get good frame rates at atleast medium-high settings, but for some reason I'm experiencing EXTREME lag. I opened task manager and it read that the RAM was almost out 3.5gb/3.9 and the disk usage was 100%. Now what is it that's causing this lag? I've seen a lot of worse bulids that are able to run GTA V with medium settings 60 fps. Is it the RAM that's causing this problem? HDD?

Ok I have a problem with my GTA V, my FPS suddenly going up and down while driving, fire a rocket launcher, chasing with cops, and other else. When im not doing stuff I have 75+ FPS, and when im on action i get 44-58 FPS (sometimes 60+) So my question is should i cap my FPS or uncapped it?, does it make the game stutter? TY

Hello! I just want to know if i can run GTA V and at what settings. Thanks! Specs | V GPU: Zotac GT 610 (1 Gb Vram) CPU: Intel Core I5 3570 3.4Ghz Base +0.4Ghz boost ( I know that it's a huge bottleneck but i am in the middle of upgrading ) RAM: 6 Gb Dual channel at 1033Mhz Thanks again!

Hey LTT, so i'm not sure if people normally post any results here but here goes. Before you complain to me, i have no clue on how to make fancy graphs etc so you going to have to read this Hardware: CPU Used: i7 4790k @4.7GHz at 1.37V ( Delidded with Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra on the DIE ) and MX-4 on the IHS. All this is cooled by a Noctua NH-D14. GPU Used: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix OC 11GB ( out of the box settings all default core clocks and fan curve ) Case Used:Fractal Define S with 3X Thermaltake Riing 14 140mm fans in the front of the case - then we have 3X Thermaltake Riing 12 120mm fans (2 of them are on the NH-D14 cooler and one as exhaust fan.(all Thermaltake fans are on 100% for this test) when i build this system i wanted to have only one exhaust fan so i could keep the top of the Define S closed of for noise, I had an extra Noctua NF-A14 PWM laying around and figured i might as well use it but i wanted to know if it was worth it. i ran these 3 tests in order back to back: Superposition benchmark 4K Optimized > aids64 cpu+fpu 2min > GTA V single player benchmark. Room temp in all these tests were 23.5C in the results below it will be 1 v 2 exhaust fan(s) chart 1 is with one exhaust fan (Thermaltake Riing 12) / chart 2 will be with the extra added Noctua NF-A14 @850rpm in the top of the case. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Test 1 with one exhaust fan: GPU max temp : 72C max fan speed: 48% = 1741 RPM CPU min/max C1 - 31 / 86 Delta= 62.5 min/max C2 - 29 / 91 Delta= 67.5 min/max C3 - 33 / 90 Delta= 66.5 min/max C4 - 30 / 84 Delta= 60.5 gtaV scores: 36.6 / 141.8 = 89.2 (min/max/avg) superposition 4K benchmark score:9247 - Test 2 with two exhaust fans: GPU max temp : 69C max fan speed: 42% = 1549 RPM CPU min/max C1 - 29 / 83 Delta= 59.5 min/max C2 - 27 / 88 Delta= 64.5 min/max C3 - 31 / 87 Delta= 63.5 min/max C4 - 29 / 81 Delta= 57.5 gtaV scores: 47 / 154.6 = 100.8 (min/max/avg) superposition 4K benchmark scores: 9267 Conclusion and thoughts CPU temps went down by 3C GPU temp went down by 3C GPU noise output was very noticeable, 6% = 200RPM difference is allot imo now where i'm a little confused is the Superposition benchmark VS GTA V benchmark results, as you can see the results are no different in the Superposition banchmark but in GTA V we went up in FPS by Allot for just adding one exhaust fan, our min FPS went up by 9FPS our max FPS went up by 13fps and our average FPS went up by 11FPS as a note i ran all tests 3 times and all 3 times the 2 exhaust fan setup did better in GTA V. the GPU ran at 1961MHz in all tests so no faster speeds because of the lower temps. hopefully one day this will help someone, thx for reading i guess

Prefer players from South Asia, South East Asia and Europe. Willing to try other territories too, but there might be ping and connectivity issues. I will communicate in English only. Comment down your gamertag if you are interested. I want to grow my hangar and MC business. In return I will do the same for you. Also, when in session with me I will launch MC club challenge, you will win $11k for 4mins of challenge. I can keep repeating that too.

Hi Guys, I need a bit of help I recently bought GTA V as it was half price on Steam and I thought why not! Before buying it I had a look at the 'Recommended' system requirements (see picture below) which my system meets but for some reason I am having trouble running anything over 20fps and in the city I am lucky if I get 5fps regardless of what settings I use from Low on everything or Ultra/High. So I'm just really confused at to what the problem could be, is this a common problem with GTA V or is there potentially something up with my system? Any help would be a massive help. My system specs are: Processor - Intel i5-4460 Ram - Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB GPU - Sapphire R9 390 Nitro (8GB) OS - Windows 10 Steam stated specs:

Hey, I'm upgrading my living room PC and allowing it to play games on it, previously it was a C2D E7500, pretty crap. So, i plan on upgrading it with under 100USD, (live in SG so under 150SGD). The X5450 is a Core 2 Quad Q9650 equivalent but it is better binned with the highest quality silicon and thus better overclocks and it's cheap as well. LGA 771 to 775 mod. Nice that the GTX 670 would come with a pre installed Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo! Also is it possible to use the 6/8 pin connectors from my 24/7 mining rig (which is why there is such a overkill PSU). My mining rig is currently only using ~650W or so. My main PSU only has one 6 pin. Will anything detrimental to the parts happen if the mining rig suddenly shuts off while i am gaming, must i plug out the 6/8 pin connectors to the mining PSU every time i am done using this PC. Thanks for your time. TL;DR can i use a power supply from a mining 24/7 rig to power my graphics card in this rig?

Hello, I just got my new computer and I think I should be getting better performance while playing GTA 5. I have a 7700K, Gigabyte 1080 windforce, 8gb at 3000Mhz and the motherboard is the MSI - Z270 SLI ATX. While playing GTA with these settigns, Im only gettign around 60FPS +/- 10FPS. I have a 1080p 144hz monitor (yes I know, overkill) Why could this be happening? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys,I am having a FPS issue with GTA V all of a sudden. I had stopped playing GTA V for a while, and just booted it up a couple weeks ago. I had this issue when I first started playing it, but I am not sure how or why it went away, but now it is back. I did go into Nvida Geforce and set it to 'Optimize' and thought that is what fixed it, but I have even tried that with no luck. I was getting 60fps without any issues at every aspect of the game for the past week or so (I'm trying to go through the story mode now sence I have never finished it). I have been playing the game a lot, and am now 53% through the story mode. In ever scenerio of the enitre play though the last 2 weeks, I was getting a constant 60 fps, but now all of a sudden I am getting anywhere between 22 fps and 35fps. The only thing I can think that I have changed in my system is I updated to the Windows 10 Creative update. I booted the game and got 60 fps after the update the last time I played it, and just last night I was getting 60fps when I first staretd playing it, when all of a sudden it dipped down to 20 to 30, and not staying at a constant 30fps. I can't get it back to 60 no m,atter what I do.It doesn't matter what I was doing in the game, I would ALWAYS get 60 fps. I have been running a small over clock on my GPU using MSI aAfterburner, but even booting the game up without that running I am now having this issue. I have done several restarts, used Ccleaner to clean up registry. I am running the latest drivers on my graphics card, latest BIOS on my motherboard. I have tried turning off Vsync, ectIn GTA's setting's menu, it shows I am not even using half of my cards memorey. The bar is solid green. Not yellow or red. As I stated, I completed half the game without ever going below 60fps in any scenerio (I use the small FPS counter in Steam). I was locked in at 60. When I tab out of GTA V and look at the task manager, nothing is taking up CPU usage or ram. With GTA tabbed out, my CPU is getting 5% to 7% use which is normal under idle.I am running at a higher resolution then most. I have an LG ultrawide monitor. So here is what I have setup wise:-LG Ultrawide monitor running at 3440 x 1440 resolution connected to my graphics card via display port-Intel i7 6800k-MSI 1080 GTX 8gb-32gb Of Quad Channel G. Skill ram I don't know why, but I just all of a sudden lost my 60 fps. It booted up getting 60 fps last night, then about 5 minuetes into the game, it dropped, and I have been unable to get it back.I have attached images that show my current settings, and I am sure these are the same settings as I was running when I was getting a steady 60 fps because I was using Nvidia's Geforce optimize settings.Any thoughts? as I stated, the only thing I can think of that has changed is, I am updated to Windows 10 creative, but I was still getting 60fps after the update. I even started at 60fps last night, when all of a sudden mid game it dropped.

Hey all. As the title implies, I'm getting very low framerates on my PC, and I can't figure out why. I have had a few people make some suggestions, none of which have helped. My rig has an FX-8300 oc'd to 3.7Ghz. I can't get it any higher while still being stable. (Yes, I think there may be something wrong with it), on an Asus M5A97LE R2.0 mobo. I have 16GB of DDR3, and a Sapphire Nitro Radeon R9 390 Nitro. I saw a few videos on YouTube where people with similiar specs are easily able to pull 80-90fps average on high/max settings on GTA V. I'm getting between 20-25. I have a video where it shows my normal settings, and another where I run the lowest possible settings. Even at the lowest settings, I'm still not able to average near 60fps, although there are a few times where it gets as high as 180. If someone could offer me some help, it would be VERY much appreciated. Thank you all. High/max settings video - Lowest possible settings video -

SO, have you ever come home after school and started up GTA V. Did you then look up at walls and wonder "Y the F does it take SOOO long to LOAD, then you wonder if there is SOME way to get rid of loading time". Well there is a way, but it requires some of your time and you need to have a fairly consistent routine. You will be using scheduler, what you first need to do is figure out what time you should schedule GTA V/ GTA V online to start loading at. On my pc it takes around 10-15 minutes and keep in mind that you can idle in online for ~14 minutes. So you can get gta to start loading around 30 minutes before you arrive. I know that I arrive everyday from college at around 4 (+- 5 minutes) but I can also adjust my speed (I cycle) if I am running (more like cycling) late. So now that you have decided at what time you should get gta v to start load up at you will need to go do the following: Press the windows key type scheduler click on create basic task name and describe your task press next click on daily (for now) press next choose your time press next keep start a program as ur option press next type in this (Program/script):"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" press next type in this (Arguments):steam://rungameid/271590 press next and finish now look for the box to the right of a box called actions and scroll for your task, the click on it then press run in the actions box when explorer opens up uncheck a box that says always show this message and then press yes i think then close the social club window that should pop up then go to scheduler and press on properties in the action box (U should have ur task still selected) then go to the triggers tab and select the daily trigger and press edit then you press on weekly and choose the days that you want gta to open up on then press ok and again ok on the next open window. This should work now, if you have questions please leave them below, will make a tutorial on my channel and add a link here as I think it would make things way easier.

Hello Guys, I know my PC is so old except by some factors but I can push this GPU I have to at least Medium/High Settings around 26 max and 11 min. So I wanted to help you guys for both AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA GPU users for you to have the chance to play GTA V on your rig. So I recently upgraded from a GTX 950 2GB to a GTX 1060 6GB, and this problem persisted between both GPUs. Whenever I'm in a very large public match, my frames are extremely low. Low 40s-30. I used to be able to play it just fine and it all of a sudden stopped working. I figured maybe my settings aren't set up properly. Could anyone help me set up my settings? Specs: AMD-Fx 8320 Eight-core (3.5 GHz, Overclocked to 4.0) GTX 1060 6GB 600 Watt Power supply 2 1 TB HDD Thanks for the help guys.

I'm considering buying a 1440p 144hz screen so I decided to try GTA V at 1440p 144hz to see how my PC would do at maintaing 144fps at 1440p. Even after lowering a lot of settings the game still runs at a below exceptional framerate considering my specs. Specs : i7 4790k OC @ 4.5ghz Cosair 16GB DDR3 @ 1600mhz GTX 1080 FE OC MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard Game Settings : DirectX 11 Fullscreen 2560 x 1440 FXXA On MSAA Off VSync Off Population Desnity: MAX Population Variety: MAX Distance Scaling: MAX Texture Quality: Very High Shader Quality: High Shadow Quality: Very High Reflection Quality: Very High Reflection MSAA: Off Water Quality: High Particles Quality: High Grass Quality: High Soft Shadows: Softer Post FX: Very High Motion Blur Strength: MAX In-Game Depth Of Field Effects: On Anisotrpic Filtering: x16 Ambient Occlusion: High Tessellation: High In this screenshot I'm getting around 70fps at 1440p with GPU Utilization below 50% (and CPU utilization at 66% indicating there is not a CPU bottleneck.) Sometimes the GPU utilization will peak at ~90% and the game will boost to around 110-130fps which is much closer to the fps target im looking for as seen here I can also guarantee this is a software problem and not a temperature issue as the game runs at 60-80fps at these same settings at 4K while pinned at 99% GPU utilization with no dips even when the temperature is hitting max. (Incase your wandering about the fan speed being pinned at 100%, I locked in their to see if there was a temperature problem earlier, load temps typically ~86c when at 100% usage).

Today My gtx 950 broke so I got an offer to get a gtx 960 instead of another 950 as none was in stock. And I'm wondering if my i5 2400 and gtx 960 ssc 2gb would be able to run some new games like battlefield 1 and gta v. I'm planning to play these on medium and high . And I'm planing to get a i5 4690k in a few months would this be an future upgrade worth it ? Thank you
