I bought a new rtx 3060 amp white and i open Escape from Tarkov to expecting to see a a boost in framerate from my old rx 580 4gb and i turned my settings to max at 1080p expecting like at least 70 to 80 fps and i got 40-50 and i was curious so i turrned riva tuner statistic and saw my gpu and cpu at around 40 to 60% usage on a crancked up tarkov raid and i turned down settings and was still the same so its not a bottleneck if anyone knows anything i would appreciate help Thanks in advance

The PC Hardware Debate (From My Point of View)
Marinatall_Ironside posted a blog entry in JurunceNK's Blog
This is going to be one of those rants from my perspective, based on a conversation I had with friends and family two nights ago (1 August, 2015). Names of the people involved will remain confidential. Don't ask for names. My take on this debate is with PC hardware and their choices. As you may have realized at some point, I actually love high-end, enthusiast-class hardware configurations (though not ones that are absolutely nuts and stupid like The Compensator build log they did) and many think that such configurations will not last long whatsoever and you must upgrade every year. Now this is where my view on this whole thing comes in. Absolutely NOTHING lasts long, regardless of how much you pay for it, whether it's $1,500 or in excess of $5,000 (Just the tower). It's you that says when to upgrade, not Nvidia, or Intel, or AMD. No one has any say on when to upgrade but YOU! You're the one in control of your system. You decide how long you want your system configuration to last. And no one agreed, and I was like what the hell guys? Now I agree with Linus and the community that paying anywhere from $1,500-$1,800 will yield a better value in the long run, but however, not everyone would want to spend that much on a system. And that's okay, as long as you're happy with the system, you're good to go. On the subject of how long the individual systems will last will depend on whether you're buying the latest AAA games or not and whether you're playing at 4K resolution or not, but ultimately it's you that decides. If you're playing last year's AAA games like Crysis 3 or Tomb Raider (2013) or if you're playing a game like ARMA 3 (released 2013-2014), then you can make your system last years on end before you have to upgrade to something new. But if you're playing mainstream titles or e-Sports titles like League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, DOTA, StarCraft II, Team Fortress 2, CS:GO, or even World of Warcraft, you can get away with much less, even at 4K like what Linus demonstrated with the $1,000 4K AMD gaming machine. But if you want the enthusiast-class machine, then go for it. No one is going to stop you, not even me. But I would question your hardware selection if it's absolutely nuts, silly, and nothing more than a way to shovel your money away (The Compensator anyone?) Now the challenge that I'm going to take and that anyone else would like to participate in is for every $1,000 you spend on the tower equals 1 year. For my near $6,400 gaming computer, I will make it last 6 years and 4 months to get the full value out of it. Am I going to resell it? No. But let's face it. PC hardware won't last long from a technological standpoint, but physically they will last. The GeForce GTX Titan X will last around a few years at the maximum due to its massive 12GB GDDR5 video memory, but the GeForce GTX 970 and the 980 will show its age within the next few months due to their 4GB (3.5GB + 512MB for the 970) video RAM. CPUs can in fact, last a really long time. That Intel Core i7-3970X is still standing quite well to this day, even the ancient Intel Core i7-2600K processor is going well too. The whole point is that previous hardware is still supported and it's still relative today and it will last you another year or so before you have to upgrade your hardware to something new. Also with Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge motherboards, they all still support PCIe Gen. 3, so that means you can quite frankly install any GeForce 900 series and AMD Rx 300 series of GPUs because they're all PCIe 3.0, they're still supported for about 2 more years until PCIe 4.0. What I'm trying to get at is that you don't have to upgrade every freaking year guys. You don't have to regardless of how much you pay for, though higher end hardware tends to last longer in terms of performance later in the future, even though they are last generation products. It's better if you get the full value of your system if you maintain it well for almost several years. It has happened before with midrange and world-class systems before, though I don't know of anyone owning a high-end system for that long and if anything, I'll be the first to perform this incredible feat with a $6,400 computer and I will have all the bragging rights I want. And it has been done before. And I will be the first to pull it off with an expensive gaming rig that I'm aware of. What I'm promoting here is if you're wanting to buy some expensive rig like me, make it last longer than one year to get the full value for how much you spend on it. That's why my rule of thumb is for every $1,000 you spend on a rig worth $3,000+ equals one year you keep that rig as is at the time of purchase because those configurations actually last much longer than what most people think, from CPUs to GPUs, especially GPUs with large amounts of video RAM. I know from a technological standpoint that they last one year, but physically and realistically lasts much longer, even when its microarchitecture has expired. Nvidia and AMD will still support them through driver updates, so they'll still be relative for years to come. So long story short: If you plan on spending $3,000 or more, make it last 3 years or more. You are the one in control of your system. It's solely you that says when to upgrade. Budget (including currency): R$4000 (+-900USD) - only for the GPU and the CPU Country: Brazil Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Halo Infinite Other details: Hello everyone! I’ll get straight to the point: my knowledge of PC building is non-existent (help me!). All I know I learnt by collecting the crumbs of information my brother has passed me, and wich I molded into a plan. First things first, I’ve been playing the Halo series for 15 years and never felt a problem with bad graphics and low fps, but now I feel with Infinite that I’ve got to upgrade. Currently, I am playing on the Xbox one and getting 30-40 fps, so anything close to 60 fps is to me dream-like. Unfortunately, I’ve found this whole new world of marvels and improvements on technology, and with all GPUs and CPUs the possibilities are very much promising. With that said, I’m looking for 140 to 200 refresh rate in a 720p resolution (don’t hate me). My plan is the following: - for GPUs: Radeon RX 6700XT, RX 6600, or NVIDIA 2060 ti. - for CPUs: Intel core i3 12100F, I5 10100F, AMD 5 3600 or 5500, or AMD 5600X. I think it’s important to note that the prices vary from country to country, and the same components are probably much cheaper on the US. Anyways, do you guys have any suggestions and/or critics about these components? Should I invest more on CPU or it doesn't affect that much the fps? Sorry for the bad English :)

intel Gigabyte edition arc gpus appeared in one of russian shop
bal723 posted a topic in Graphics Cards
Gigabyte Intel Arc A310 Windforce, Gigabyte Intel Arc A380 Windforce OC and Gigabyte Intel Arc A380 Gaming OC. From now on, Gigabyte is an official partner of all three global GPU manufacturers: Nvidia, AMD and Intel. Video cards are sold on the DNS network. If someone wanted to actually feel the possibilities of a budget discrete Intel graphics card, then here it is - a chance. The cost of the younger model is 11,000 rubles, the A380 Windforce OC is priced at 14,000 rubles, the Gaming OC version is 1,000 rubles more expensive. Intel Arc A380 and Arc A310 are built on the same GPU - ACM-G11, but only in the case of the older model, the graphics processor is fully functional, with 8 Xe cores. There is 6 GB of memory and a 96-bit bus. Arc A310 has a GPU with 7 Xe cores, 4 GB of video memory and a 64-bit bus. Judging by the images, all three models are built on the same printed circuit board and receive additional power through one six-pin connector. It should be noted how originally the cooling system of the Gigabyte Intel Arc A380 Gaming OC is made. If you look from the side of the fans, then you can’t even find a catch. But if you turn the card over, you can see that the third fan blows over the heat pipe hanging in the air, since the heatsink ends in the area of the second fan. (two fan version is windforce OC and three fan version is gaming OC) source:https://www.ixbt.com/news/2022/12/15/intel-arc-a380-arc-a310-gigabyte.html (translated by me) -
Does anyone knows the Aisurix company? Does there product was good enough at a reasonable cost? Does anyone knows? Does anyone of you herd and tried to buy one? Is it good or bad?

So I've been thinking about buying a pretty high end PC, and wanted to future proof it as best as I can, but after looking at Motherboards, I've realized that there aren't any that can support a PCIe 5 SSD and GPU at their full speeds. One lane (usually the GPU) will get cut to PCIe 5 x8, and I've been wondering, is this because current CPUs/Chipsets can't handle the bandwidth, or do board manufacturers not see a reason to start producing boards that powerful. Or is there another reason I'm not thinking of?

Hello everyone, i recently got some issues with my PC, a custom watercooled rig. here are the specs: ryzen 1800x asus crosshair VI 32GB G.skill ram rated at 3600 16-16-16-36 2x GTX 1080TI FE Corsair HXi 1000W PSU (Bitfenix Alchemy 2.0 Cables) GPU driver is is on 445.75 BIOS is on the second latest version (7601) temps are all fine and the loop has recently been maintained now the issue: as stated in the title the PC decides to have BSOD whenever i play games, no matter if its Risk of rain2, CoD warzone, Monsterhunter, or basicly anything. the bluescreen is only visible for a fraction of a second, so no chance of getting a screenshot with an error code. the weirdest thing happend last week after the PC crashed and tried to boot up again a text appeared that stated" please turn off the system and plug in PCIe power cables.... i have never ever seen something like that and i find it quite scary. is one or both of my GPU's dying? plugging the monitors into one or the other GPU doesn thelp. enable/disable SLI doesnt help either as i have been browsing through the ltt forum after writing this, both my screens went balck for about 10 sec but recovered after that. im getting a bit worried dump-win.rar

I have the Asus X570ZD which in my specific occasion has a ryzen 5 2500U with an intergrated Vega 8 gpu it also has an Nvidia geforce gtx 1050 mobile 2gb. My issue is that i cannot understand when my nvidia gpu is being used and thats quite a problem while gaming. Is there a way to choose which gpu should run the games??? and how can i see i it really does so?

Ok so last night I put together a PC. It has a asus ROG rx570 GPU. On pc part picker my estimated power consumption for the system was about 300w. I purchased a 450w 80+ Bronze to make sure I met needs and a bit. Now everything seemed to be working just fine. I did notice fans not turning on on the GPU but I assumed that was because I wasnt running at enough load to heat it up where fans would turn on. Got windows installed and everything is going smooth except after it runs for about 15 minutes the screen will look like old school static and start a pattern of randomized flashing until it kicks off output to the display. The PC is still on but will not output to the display. Now after doing this a couple times i opened AMD monitoring software and watched GPU usage and its spiking randomly up to 90% at idle. Is this my GPU screwed up then or something else I am not considering like the PSU? Any help is greatly appreciated.

So i'm thinking about using an gtx 680 to game on, but is it still viable in 2020? does it still hold enough power to play modern games smoothly?

hi, i'm in a bit of a dilemma here, i recently decided to do a fresh install of windows and after having all the drivers installed i wanted to turn on the onboard igpu/ outputs so i could do multimonitors. i had previously done this before and i know how to do it. However, when i try to enable the igpu and turn on the pc its a black screen. however when i try using the gpus seperately, soley by themselves they work? ik multi monitor works cos ive enabled it in the past however now it isnt working its just black screening. ps. gpus: gt1030 2gb gddr5, intel hd graphics 2000

Hi I was hopping for some advice, after lots of Googling I’ve had no luck. Recently when I’ve been running games on my pc my game has been dropping out of full screen mode and minimising out of no where, sometimes it flickers black and then goes, the game doesn’t shut down it just drops off the screen, my graphics card is pinned at around 90-100% while gaming but otherwise ok, I have 2 monitors and the second one is fine, the issue follows any monitor running the game, any help would be appreciated, thanks MSI 450-a pro RX 580 ryzen 3 3200G corsair 750w Ram 16gb

Hello , this is my first time posting here so please tell me if something is wrong or any info is missing. I'm having drivers issues with my XFX RX 560 , i was updating to Adrenaline 20.x (Recommended option) and once it finished the install , made a restart like the drivers required, i saw bios options, post , everything was good but it just start windows like the image, in user selection, in desktop screen, everywhere, i thought it was the new driver so i tried a downgrade using DDU and getting the one that i was using all this time ( which was, in a surprising way, catalyst amd drivers) but now it still shows the screen like the picture. i've checking many solutions but none of those works. Ask for a friend computer to use there but still not working, tried other display like msi or asus monitor, in intel or amd systems, almost every driver from crimson or adrenaline , even 20.4.2 which was release a couple days ago. Does this have solution or it is just time to throw it away and get an upgrade?. My system is : Ryzen 3 3200g with 16gb ddr4 ram kingston, 120gb kingston and evga 500w 80 plus white. EDIT : 04/25, still cant find a solution.

I have a RX Radeon 480, and I noticed Recently that the usage goes from 0 to 100 or from low numbers to high numbers, Idk the reason why. It happens with fortnite, cs go, but I haven’t texted on other games like gta five and stuff. I did the benchmark from msi afterburner, and gpu usage was at 100% which I heard that’s what you want to happened, I will answer any info you guys need, please help.

Hey all. I recently got a new PC with a, RTX 2060 super and Ryzen 5 3600. I'm just wondering if it will handle a 1440P at 144hz Monitor?

Budget (including currency): 500 US$ + 70 US$ for PSU Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA games, light streamlining, and light productivity. Other details: i7-7700k CPU,GTX 1070 GPU, I run two 1080p monitors but I’m planning to get a 1440p one. I wish to stick with NVIDIA and it’s RTX series, and I have been looking at good price to performance deals on 2070’s. Should I wait for 3000?

Hi Guys, To make this as quick as possible, my brother has been wanting a gaming pc for a while now, but has never bought one because money. I watched that Linus video about converting that old Dell pc into a surprisingly good one. Back home we literally have that same prefab but made by Asus instead. So i Told him he should get those parts instead because it would be way cheaper than a whole new build. Only issue is the adapter because the psu doesn't have any 8 pin or even 6 pin connectors. The specs are as follows: i7-3770 16 GB DDR3 1600 500 gb 850 evo Going from GT 640 to a GTX 1660ti. It has a stock 300w psu. Linus showed with a adapter it would work, I've been doing some research since he bought the parts already and I'm seeing a lot of negative feedback on this. How bad is this idea?

Hi all, Recently acquired a 2nd Monitor for general usage. I game on my 1440p Monitor, running games at a lower resolution of 1080p. However when I alt+tab, click on 2nd monitor, or WIN+tab, my windows on the 2nd monitor become jumbled, moving their places. I would like to be able to alt-tab/click out/win+tab without those windows shifting places, so I can watch a YT video on the side while playing a game in 1080p. The problem only persists while playing a game on a non-native resolution for my 1440p Monitor. Native resolution of 1440p does not produce this problem. PersistentWindows doesn't seem to reset the positions of the windows, and any sort of windows scaling doesn't seem to work either. I have tried switching between GPU scaling and Windows Display scaling to see if that remedied the problem. No dice. Ex: before alt tab, window is placed where it should be. After Alt Tabbing, The window shifts to the right slightly. My monitors are as follows: 1. Acer XF270HU 2560x1440p 144hz Monitor 4ms response time 2. LG Electronics Full HD 1080p 75hz Monitor 5ms response time System Specs: CPU: Ryzen R7 3700x MOBO: MSI B450 Tomahawk GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 DirectX 12 GV-N1080D5X-8GD RAM: 16GB G Skill 3200MHZ OS: Windows 10 Home

As time come, I'm in a need of additional GPU to run most of my work on additional 3-4 monitors. I currently run 3 monitors with my 1050 Ti, and I don't any iGPU out's. I tried running GT210 and older cards from Nvidia that I have on hand, but the drivers just won't make it. And I don't want to spend ~$60+ for an GT610 and newer. Did anyone tried those cheap quadros etc. that are everywhere on the market with 10xx nvidias ?
