I'm from India and there is an Asrock 5600XT 6gb graphics card for 13000inr (around 150us?). GPU prices here are typically higher than prices in the US. I have two questions. First of all, is vedantcomputers (the seller) reliable? Second of all, is Asrock bad?

I bought this GALAX 1660 Ti GPU 8 months ago, And i went ahead and tested it 5 months ago and it wouldnt produce a screen at first and sometimes would, and it would crash while stress testing and produce a grinding fan noise. But i seemed to have fixed those issues except the grinding fan noise. It would still produce it somewhere around 2030 RPM or 60% Fan Speed. But it's not as noisy as before but just today the noise seemed to have come back and im worried if the gpu will get the same symptoms months ago or it will break. No wire seems to be blocking the gpu or anything its just that when the fan goes above 2030 RPM/60% Fan Speed it would make this annoying grinding noise but it's not that loud compared to before. But now it's *kinda* fixed all i did was reseat the gpu and the 8 pin, cleaned the ram, replaced the cmos. And it's stable in games and on FurMark and wont crash anymore. But still makes this annoying grinding noise on it's fan and i dont know how to fix it. Editors Note: I set the fan speed to 62% in MSI Afterburner when playing gpu intense games for the fan to chill and not make that ear-piercing noise. Here's the video of my GPU Back then still having no display issues, crashes and with the grinding fan noise. The noise starts at 0:30 (The noise issue im having right now too but not that audible anymore) What can i do? The warranty is expired. Or do a alternative solution.

Hi, Randomly out of nowhere my screens will freeze then just go black, then my main monitor will flicker from an off black to an on black constantly. I've checked all my drivers to no avail and its really annoying me as its a brand new PC. I found out that Nvidia Geforce experience wasnt working last night and that when i opened the app up it was lagging my mouse out, i turned off the ingame overlay and it felt smoother. Any Ideas? I'm stumped. Thanks

I just upgraded from a 1660 Super to a RX6650XT and it’s not displaying, keyboard and mouse powered but no display. Motherboard: B450M Pro4 CPU: AMD 5800X Ram: 32GB Still works just fine with my 1660 but not with my 6650

Okay so, I bought a 4070 ti super on launch, I got it, it was defective and i returned it. after waiting a whole month, I got my refund and I bought a different kind(zotac holo). This time when I had it all plugged in, in it caught on fire. keep in mind I triple checked power cables. I took it out immediately and tried booting it without the gpu and my system is fine. Is it my motherboard? is it the gpu? power supply? cords? Should I start my 30 day return and just suck it up for another month? It took me so long to save for my computer and im just so upset right now.

Hey guys, I've just upgraded my GTX1080 to a new AMD 7900XT GPU. The new GPU blocks access to the bottom most PCIex16 slot, which previously housed my capture card. (I'm trying to avoid doing the obvious things like getting an ATX size board, or selling the capture card and going for an external one.) Here are the relevant details about my system. Motherboard: Asus TUF B550m plus (this is an mATX size board) GPU: 7900XT GPU Capture card: Elgato 4k60 Pro Case: Corsair 220T Anyways, I managed to get the 7900XT installed in the top PCIex16 slot on my board (lets call it PCIex16_1). However, my problem is that this new GPU is so thick that it blocks my secondary PCIEx16 slot (PCIex16_2). I was using PCIex16_2 with my Elgato 4k60 Pro capture card before, and now no longer can fit both simultaneously. SO I had the bright idea to just move the GPU down to PCIEx16_2. And move the capture card up to PCIEx16_1; everything seems to be running fine so far. Can someone help me understand what kind of performance hit I may take with the GPU in PCIex16_2? I know PCIex16_1 is 4.0 while PCIex16_2 is 3.0, but isn't 3.0 already enough bandwidth if I have enough lanes? Thanks!

hi i updated my cards graphics drivers a while ago an ever since then my gpu has been running colder all of a sudden , fans are fine , no performance decrease ,the only thing ive done hardware wise was disassemble my pc entirely ,redo everything ,took everything out ,cleaned it ,plugged it back in after repasting cpu an now 2 of my case fans have quit working an these are the fans that came with my case , i aint got any idea whats going on ive looked online the pic below is my temps after a complete full day of playing rust normal my gpu is like at 75-77c and it hasn't gotten passed that point at all tbh even the cpu is running cooler ,but i repasted maybe the newest nivida graphics driver boosted its performance ? i haven't noticed a increase in that just that its running cooler all of a sudden

Greetings buddy This has never happened to me Today I installed a tp-link archer txe75e on my aorus x570 ultra wifi PCIE 1 below the PCIE 16x That caused my GPU (rtx 3090) to not giving anymore signal output to the screen. When I turn on the pc everything lights up, even the GPU, the monitor turn on because it receives a signal from the GPU, but then "no signal". I tried to do cmos reset, remove battery, reset the monitor, plug and unplug the GPU. Any idea? It's all water cooled with hard tubing, and I'd love to find a solutions that does not require a total uninstall of the setup I'm in your hands

Does the AMD Radeon HD 6450 LP 1gb support crossfire? Specifically the Powercolor AX6450 is what I am wondering about.

Overall if price is not included who actually wins? Like overall is AMD or NVIDIA a better option when it comes to Games, Video editing, AI technology, so on so forth. Which brand tends to be better at what? like is NVIDIA better for Video editing & AI while AMD is better for gaming? I usually lean towards to NVIDIA as I had a horrid experience with their 5000 series, but I'd love to know now days what is the best on average. For this topic I'd probably want to compare the top of the top from both ends (RX 7900 XTX / RTX 4090) we can include their technological improvements too.

I have very little experience in building PC’s. I installed a Gigabyte 4080 Super I got from Newegg today, with the help of a LTT Youtube Short and 2 friends via facetime. Upon powering up my PC, the GPU wasn’t detected in the System Information, Device Manager, or BIOS. I downloaded the latest Nvidia Driver with support for the 4080 Super, and when I ran the Installation I was met with an error that said I can’t install this driver because there is no nvidia hardware detected. I read a bunch of reddit threads and discovered DDU so I downloaded it and ran it according to the instructions (disconnecting GPU, running it while connected to motherboard, select GPU and NVIDIA, after shut down I connected the GPU but it still didn’t solve the problem. I read another thread here about Gigabyte specifically having an issue with their NVIDIA 12VHPWR adapter, and to try it with 1/3 of the cables disconnected, but to no avail as well. If anyone can help, I would be personally and eternally indebted lol If any other info is needed, please let me know. After reading the post instructions, I’m flashing my BIOS to the latest version now but I don’t know if that could be the cause of all this. UPDATE: I followed the recommendations and tried re-seating it without the Network Adaptor and it worked. Although I should mention I think it was not properly seated the first time. I’m going to re-install the Network Adaptor later tonight after work and see if it works still. Thanks for the help guys!

Need more thoughts on this case please! What im missing in this situation is this CPU with this OC bottlenecks the GPU so hard? Or something else i missing here? ***Sorry for my bad english and mistakes first post in this forum, if you can help please write your thoughts about this situation. I can give more information if needed.

Hi Guys, First post here, not too sure in protocol so I’ll just jump right in with my issue. Hope someone can help. I purchased a 5 year old pc from a friend and wanted a CPU and GPU upgrade. I opted for a 7900xtx and a Ryzen 5 5700x3d. 1. Will the RM750x be sufficient for this build? 2. The GPU requires 3x8 pin cables, I currently have 1 sleeved cable that branches off into 2 6+2 cables from the old GPU in place. Is there anything I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Connor

Hey All! I recently got a RX 590 Fatboy to replace my old 1050ti. However, the card is just a bit too big for my setup and has some serious heating issues. I was thinking about going with the GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 EAGLE, since it draws a lot less power and is a triple fan unit, to add with that cooling. I am really trying to avoid a complete rebuild, so I am just looking for a mid table card that would fit within my current build. Any advice helps!! My current setup is CPU - Ryzen 5 3600x GPU - RX 590 Fatboy Ram - 16GB Vengeance PSU - EVGA 550 B3

Hey all! I recently upgraded my build from a 1050ti to a RX 590 Fatboy. Everything has been running smoothly, such as Overwatch, Apex, Hell Divers, and Smite. However, when I boot into Fortnite I am getting around 7 FPS. I have tried to reinstall it, update my drivers, and I am just lost what to do next. Any advice would help!

Hi all, I have a Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT NITRO+ 16GB few weeks now has been great but the day I got it I installed the Trixx software did a fan test and got a red fan in the middle, checked no bigger cable resting on it, fast forward about 4 weeks or so, ran another test and all 3 are red and hardly spin up during the test past 600rpm. If I run a stress test in the AMD software they do spin up and I don't believe I'm having any issues in the game, did a load of benchmarking last night and nothing odd. If I use MSI Afterburner and set to 100% it just goes back down to 0, I guess due to no load. Ran Furmark (Side pannel off) Max 62C Fans at 25%? Just an issue with Strixx software? GPU had power two separate 8 pins no daisy chain. Just an issue with Strixx software?

Hello, So I have an HP z420 Workstation and have been wondering if I could upgrade the GPU. I found the Rx580 to be ideal for my system but, it requires an 8-pin connecter while I have only a single 6-pin connecter. I read some articles that say you can ignore the other two pins and connect the 6 pins only but, I also heard it might cause some overload on the cable and cause some heating or crashes. Please recommend me something other than changing my PSU cause where I live the RX580 already costs a lot, so getting a new PSU would be difficult.

3060 Ti + i5 10400f build, Performance problems. **Status:** Unresolved **Computer Type:** Custom Build Pc **GPU:** Galax Nvidia 3060 ti (1 Click OC) **CPU:** Intel i5 10400f **Motherboard:** Asus h510m-k **RAM:** 2x8 Crucial 3200mhz Capped to 2666mhz because cpu doesn't support 3200mhz [16 gb in total] **PSU:** Gigabyte P650B 650W **Main drive [OS Drive]** 250 Gb lexar SSD **Secondary [Games drive]** 500 Gb WD HDD **Operating System & Version:** Windows 10 Pro Version 23H2 **GPU Drivers:** GRD 551 **Description of Problems** Low fps in Almost All Games! Stutters making games unplayable, extreme fps drops, computer is laggy even when opening files, sometimes crashing (explorer.exe has stopped responding) being slow in literally everything, gpu usage drops lower than cpu while in games causing low fps. Games that have problems are: Doom eternal, Resident evil 4 Remastered, Fortnite, Elden Ring, GTA Troligy Remaster. No clear reason, temps are fine (no 80 degrees and higher) no clear mining running, haven't run anything sketchy There are some other minor problems: I noticed that when moving the mouse the pc makes coil whining sounds [ONLY WHEN MOVING THE MOUSE] and weirdly only in the desktop, tried lowering mouse reporting hz, didn't help, also gpu clock speeds and usage vary when in use, gpu usage drops lower than cpu causing massive stutters and clock speeds are flunctioating under load. Also speakers, headphones make electrical noises, weird high pitch noise whenever it's plugged in, even when browsing [unrelated probably, ground loop?] Tried : Ddu to clean install drives, reverting nvidia drivers to version 537.58 (as recommended by others), resetting nvidia control pannel settings, turning off game mode, hardware acceleration, gpu scheduling, xbox game bar, moving games to ssd, none worked Haven't tried : clean install of windows, don't have any spare parts to try incase a part is broken. Note that i ran stable diffusion [ai art] on the pc, Although i did with keeping temps low and with power limits, could it have killed the gpu or any part?

TLDR: games crash and have lower frames than normal, why? So I updated my drivers last night, ever since my 2060's performance has been at best half what it was in Forza Horizon 5 and Spider-Man at 100% GPU utilization. Spider-Man will still run but crashes occasionally, but Forza can't get past the autoshow menu before crashing. Haven't tried any other games yet. Never had any issue like this before, or any issue with this GPU actually. Bought in November 2020. Wondering what the most common causes of this might be? Full specs: Ryzen 7 3700x w/ Stock Cooler Gigabyte Aorus B550 Wifi 32gb 3200mhz Corsair Vengence RGB Gigabyte Aorus 2060 Corsair RM650x Gold PSU 1tb Samsung 970 Evo 1tb Kingston m.2 4tb Seagate Barracuda HDD All from Nov 2020 except the Kingston m.2 and the RAM bought Dec 2023.

Hi, I'm looking for opinion even though I've already ordered a new PSU. Running games under load is causing my PC to power off and reboot. I installed an ASROCK RX 6600 8GB on a PC with a Corsair VS450 (450W Bronze). I would have expected this to work, as the GPU is only pulling 100W with an i5-4590 pulling ~50W. I have two SSDs running, and not much else to pull power. I'm replacing a Sapphire R9 270X OC. This should be pulling more power than an RX 6600 but the R9 never caused a shutdown in 7+ years. I was playing Prodeus with the same settings enabled on the R9 270X and RX 6600 and only the RX 6600 caused a shutdown. I had the same shutdown issue after trying an Nvidia GTX 980 but that was pulling much more power (180W+). Is this related to PCI-E connectors? R9 270X OC = 2 x 6pin RX 6600 = 1 x 8pin

For a while now when I leave my PC running and the screen goes black, after a few minutes it will long beep 5 times (indicating no GPU recognized) then 1 short beep after a pause. I'm thinking this happens when it attempts to fall asleep, but a lot of the time it falls asleep on its own just fine. Once this happens I can't wake the screen even though my PC is still on (fans running, RGB on etc.). To use it again I usually have to do a couple hard reboots, sometimes it works after 1. I made sure my BIOS and GPU drivers are all up to date and that the GPU was seated nice and snug. Is there anything I can try to fix it? Specs: CPU - Ryzen 5 5500 Mobo - ASRock B450M Steel Legend RAM - OLOy OWL DDR4-3000Mhz 2x8GB GPU - Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 6600 PSU - EVGA N1 650W

The title isn't click bait (unfortunately). I sold my EVGA 3080ti to a coworker recently. He's had it for about a week and a half. It's been running without any problems until last night. He said around midnight he woke up "the card literally started screaming, woke up everyone in the house, louder than any TV I've ever had at full blast". I have never heard of this happening. I'm not sure if he might have had a power surge that freaked out his system, or if it's something else entirely different. He said he restarted the computer and it's no longer doing it. I'm at a loss though on whether it could actually be the GPU doing it or something else. The warranty on the card is still good until June at least. I'd appreciate some help in troubleshooting or where to go from here to figure out the cause. I don't want to send the card into EVGA if it isn't the card doing it.

Hello users of the LTT forum, after a lot of reseating and troubleshooting I finally decided to try another PSU since my vega wasn't giving me a display signal. I replaced my immaculate Straight Power 10 600 Watt Gold Efficiency PSU, which has been powering a much more power hungry GPU for about a year now, with a 450W System power 7. And this hail mary worked for some reason. I'm sort of confused and also pissed since I wasted so much time on troubleshooting and cannot fathom why the vega only accepts my crappy 10 year old PSU. I'm also not entirely sure whether I can now be certain that the GPU is fine since I've been planning to sell it if I got it to work. Any input is appreciated, the card has been running Doom Eternal/Forza Horizon in 4k without issues for multiple hours now. Pictured below: the GPU in question and the AMD Software while Doom is running. Greetings from Germany, Kevin

I built a PC for the first time last week. It's all up and running, and it works, to my relief. But something I've noticed is that when I turn my PC on, the motherboard's VGA LED light and the DRAM LED light blink red. I've done a quick google on this and it seems it's to do with a faulty/dead GPU (VGA), and improperly seated/faulty RAM (DRAM). The thing is, I get an excellent display with good graphics and the RAM is detected with no problem. Another conclusion is, I could have not plugged in certain cables right, as I was extremely cautious and didn't put much force into it, fearing I could break something if I did. If anyone has any solutions to this, or things I could try to fix it, I don't even know if I have to because the PC is working fine.

Is there a way for me to use a portless gpu on my dell optiplex 790? I have a gpu and the ports have issues so i was thinking if i can use the gpu with out the ports plugged onto the gpu but instead the motherboard. I have seen people doing it by going onto bios and doing some configuration to enable it but i am wondering if dell bios can do something like that.
