Hey all, my close to 8 years old cheap gaming mouse cannot hold the left botton, and I am looking for a replacement. A repairable replacement, wired only or not, weight is no concern. I am sort of comfortable with throughhole soldering, and quite comfortable with screws.

Hi there everyone, thank you for joining and trying to help me out! I've been using this combo for almost a year. The sound quality of the DT770 Pro is truly impressive, combined with the oratory1990's equalising settings. My main use is in gaming scenarios and the immersion has been awesome. What I've been struggling, lately, is in First Person Shooters. I can't clearly locate the footsteps sounds in most games: Battlefield, Call of Duty, R6 Siege. Only CS:GO goes slightly better, but still: audio seems really "muffled". I can hear the footsteps, but the direction is not really precise and my guess usually isn't that close to the location. I haven't messed with the Acoustic Engine of the Sound Blaster GC7 (surround, crystalizer, etc), but I want to give it a try. What could help me achieve a more directional sound, giving me a chance to hear those footsteps more clearly and precisely? Thank you for trying to help me. Love you!

Budget (1550): Country: KSA **Sorry some of the prices in the links not in USA Dollars currency so if you see the price under 6000 SAR or س,ر that is OK, and sorry again about the confusion Hello guys, Can someone help me choose a gaming PC for my 10 years kid. I chose a couple of Pre-built gaming PCs from some websites that deliver to where I live: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09M9J5YF3/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A14PAP71RVPZX1&psc=1 https://www.amazon.sa/Skytech-Blaze-3-0-Gaming-Desktop/dp/B0B7CTTL1V?tag=how2pc03-20&th=1 https://www.amazon.sa/dp/B0BBH9NVSH?tag=georiot-ksa-default-21&th=1&psc=1&ascsubtag=trd-sa-7190603883314661000-21&geniuslink=true https://pcd.com.sa/en/product/pc-gaming-desktop-nvidia-geforce-rtx3060-8gb-i5-14600kf-ram-16gb-ddr4-1tb-m-2-windows-11-23wf/ https://pcd.com.sa/en/product/pc-gaming-desktop-nvidia-geforce-rtx4060-8gb-i5-12400f-ram-16gb-1tb-m-2-windows-11-dlss3-white-wf223/# https://www.cazasouq.com/Custom-builds/black-friday-2023-4060-v1-3-white-aa15430-1-15621 However, not sure if they are good or not. So could you help me choose one of them. If you think it would be better and cheaper for me to build it myself, please share a link to a list , and it would be great if the part available on Amazon. Thank you

Hello Everyone, I want to purchase a new GPU, you can find my current system specs attached. Currently, I am running a 500W Silverstone PSU. I will have to buy a new PSU with the new GPU. My preference: GPU: RX 6700 XT PSU: 750W 80+ Gold CPU COOLER: Deepcool AK620 (I am not sure if I will be buying a CPU cooler or not, I don't know if I need it) I am happy to hear your suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I bought a new mouse (asus rog strix impact 2 wireless) and when I tried playing fortnite with it I started to realize that I get some type of random input delay on my keyboard. It works like it should for a few minutes and then there is a random spike of delay (it lasts for around 10-15 seconds). I did a fresh install of windows 11 because I thought that maybe it is my fault, installed my gpu, keyboard and mouse drivers and the problem is still there. I forgot to mention this happens outside fortnite too. Pc specs: Ryzen 3 3200g RX 6600 2x8gb DDR4 2666mhz a320 m-k 1tb hard disk 256gb ssd I have my mouse in the keyboard section? Hey everyone, I’m just looking for some recommendations for a new laptop that I can use for gaming when I’m travelling, not looking for something too intensive as I don’t really play any major triple A titles, my price range is around £400-£600($509-$763USD) all recommendations will be very appreciated can go over budget by about $50, thank you all very much in advance, my only need will be minimum 16gb ram

I have been searching all of the internet for this specific problem but i cant find any help. Random day in august i updated my AMD drivers since i had not done so in a while. Then my games kept crashing after 20 minutes of playing and and window would pop up saying "driver timeout" or something like that. I saw some post on some post on some website which was similar to my problem saying to change some setting in the registry, so i did that and now it does not crash anymore. But every 15-20 minutes it lags for 4-5 seconds and after this it is followed by the game freezing for 3 seconds. I have tried deleting my drivers and installing them again. Playing with only one stick of ram since i recently added one more. Installing old drivers. I have a rx 570 and an i5 9400f.

As the title suggest I bought a second hand turret and it came without the charger. I've had it just laying around my room without being able to use or charge it. Does anyone know how and where I can find a replacement charger? Or am I out of luck with my purchase. (I tried contacting razer support and they didn't help me at all because the model is coming to "end of cycle")

Hello there, I'm new to this forum (long time LTT watcher tho). So hopefully I'm doing this like it is supposed to be used. I'm (sadly) a laptop gamer (3070 mobile + AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, Lenovo). Playing mainly a lot of FPS & story games. My other periphal is a SteelSeries Nova Pro headset. My hands are slightly bigger then average I believe. I'm a fan of the razer deathadder. But after being a bit too rough with it a couple of times (yes, gamer rage) it now randomly disconnects for like half a second every now and then. Quite annoying when you are just in a battle. So I wish to treat myself to a new mouse (hopefully a solid upgrade). After looking into it myself my current options would be: Razer Deathadder V3 Just an straight upgrade to my old V2. Sadly no RGB, that's the only downgrade Razer viper mini Signature Edition Most premium option. Slight worry that it's smaller then I'm used to. Also most expensive one and kinda hard to get Logitech G pro X superlight 2 Bigger & more affordable option to the viper mini SE. Never used logitech products before. Some of my friends aren't big fans of Logitech. They say all of their products have downsides (worse sensors, fragile, bad scrolling wheel.) Not sure if they are correct. But it makes less likely to choose them. Other Razer mouse I did enjoy my razer mouse and my friends also have good experiences with them. A couple of options would be: Basilisk V3 (pro), Viper ultimate & viper 8k or the wireless deathadders. SteelSeries mouse Have no experience with their mice. But I've heard there aerox mice are pretty nice. Which one would be the best one to get? Thanks in advance ~Spartan

I recently started concert photography, thus far anything photography related ive used my phone and lightroom mobile to edit but scrubbing through 2k+ photos has become quite a burden. Im looking for suggestions on a laptop that can handle lightroom/photoshop and maybe even some gaming (prefer to play destiny 2) price range is around $1k USD, ive been looking at the MSI katana 15(13650h + 4070) but it seems its lacking in the screen department in terms of editing. a desktop isnt out of the question either, but i would need to get a monitor.

Hey everyone, this is my first post here, so I apologize if I posted this in the wrong location or if I did not include a required tag. I'm looking for a gaming keyboard that is also good for work. I do a lot of typing, and I like my current keyboard (Logitech G413 Carbon), but it has started to double-type, skip letters, and some keys would literally just fall off the keyboard randomly. I would like some recommendations for a mechanical keyboard that won't cause these issues after a year or two of purchasing it. Ideally, I also prefer quiet mechanical keyboards as I have people in my household, and I don't want to be obnoxious. Oh, and I also really like my full-size keyboard with a numpad as I use it a lot for work. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for the keyboard I should go for. I live in Ontario, Canada, and my budget is around $100-150 CAD. So, to summarize: Budget: $100-150 CAD Region: Ontario, Canada Layout: US ANSI Size: Full Sized Keyboard Connectivity: Wired and Wireless is both fine.

I'm looking for suggestions for a gamijng mouse that will fit my large and honestly fat hands. They're not extremely big, I would consider them just a tad above average. The best mouse I've encounterd that fits my hand the best is the Razer Deathadder V2. I would buy one again, but I'm trying to get away from Razer and their shitty Synapse software, or as I call it 'Prolapse'. Anyways, I'd also prefere if the mouse has a wireless mode with a usb c cable. Thankyou in advance. Any suggestions are appreciated.

So let me first and foremost state that I am a razer fanboy. I have everything razer related, from the shirts to the chair, to the peripherals and laptops, i have everything razer. So to say that Razer messed up big, is no understatement. Nov 7 Razer pushed out an synapse update to where they tweaked with the audio spatial settings for nearly all razer headsets. What did it do? Made the audio unbearable to the point where it sounded like high squeals and muddy in others with barely much bass in some cases. I personally have a blackshark v2 pro. It was advertised with THX 7.1 SPATIAL. As seen in the link here. Now i'm aware people will say headphones won't have 7.1, and I'm aware of that but before they were pretty good and mimicing it and even windows would see it as a 7.1 when you configured the headset. Now since nov 7 and even nov 16 (when another update was pushed) The headsets for nearly all razer products from what is seen on reddit are junk. People go and complain about how the swap from stereo to thx spatial doesn't work or in my case it only sounds slightly louder. You don't have directionality anymore. I mean when i play apex now it just overwhelming to try listening for steps when you can't even tell if its on your left or right or what not. I have a set of tiamat v2 that i'm gonna try that also had 7.1 (it actually has 7 mini speakers in each cup) and see if those are any better compared to my blackshark now. But really i wanted to bring awareness to the fact razer doesn't seem to listen to us, nor just roll back the sound changes they did. But also looking possibly for suggestions for a good gaming headset (i have seperate stuff for music and all), so suggestions are welcome. Thanks Also really would like for linus to see this or even someone from LMG to see this and do testing to see if the synapse updates really did screw with the headsets and audio devices.

I have been struggling to get good wifi signal and speeds in my outbuilding where my office is. Currently the download speed in the main house is 60 download and in the outbuilding only like 10. When I try to play games Im lagging a lot as the latency is spiking up and down. I have tried to use a wifi extender to make a bridge between the two buildings but still no good and then I have now incorporated powerline adapters but still no success. Any ideas how to improve my wifi signal and speeds?

Budget (including currency): $1100 ($USD) Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Music Production with light Gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Helping a friend with a PC build, he does a lot of music production, but also enjoys some gaming (Overwatch, Minecraft, indie games, and occasionally a game like Cyberpunk) on the side. Budget & Location Trying to work on the cheaper end as I already have the bulk of everything needed. But let's say $200-250 CAD max for mine and $200-300 CAD for my wife's PC. If there are valid reasons given, we can start planning out longer-term upgrades & begin saving for better parts for all PCs Vancouver, BC, Canada 2. Aim I work as a freelance audio engineer, and audio & video editor. My wife is a freelance web + graphic designer. We both use our PCs for work with Adobe CC and occasional gaming. I typically work at 1440p when my wife's not using the PC, or 1080p when she is. Gaming is often at 1080p but I've been using Dynamic Super Resolution to 1440p/4K for testing (which I'm not sure really does much for picture quality on the 1080p display). As I use my PC to record audio and video in my studio office, I need both PCs to be incredibly silent and not crash. ASUS Armory Crate is fine, however, I'm looking for almost inaudible operation; except when gaming/video editing. Good closed-back headphones (DT 770 Pro 250 Omhs) eliminate most of the noise but I still use my M-Audio AV32 studio monitors (or more so my wife does). At this point, the bulk of the noise is coming from the 5600g and Gigabyte Eagle RX 6600's heatsink cooler fans in the Node 202. Part of this upgrade is to maybe look into a different case for my wife that's still not too big. Her last PC had a Cooler Master Masterbox (I believe; it was from 2016-2017) and if the desk is set up correctly, I think it would be fine. We're not opposed to mATX or regular ATX, just got a good deal for this whole mini ITX. A mobo swap to something name-brand might just be better in the long run and mATX boards are easier to find and cheaper overall. In fact, we're not sure if the GPU, RAM or motherboard are causing the occasional visual glitch with Chrome on my wife's PC. Additional note: I have a bunch of drives and use all three PCs as file servers on gigabit LAN, so upgrading to a Define 7 might be a better option for my PC (but that's not in the budget right now but something I wanted to bring up). I like having a side panel window but I typically turn all my RGB off since it can be distracting. The Node 202 has a different Lian-Li PSU (which has been great) but because of the way the plug goes, the 202 case won't fully close and has a small bump; the case's U-shaped stand won't fully fit and her PC and has been put aside. The mini ITX case is in the middle of the desk behind the monitors. My wife has mentioned wanting to purchase a Macbook and her dad may just sell us his 2017 Air for a cheaper price since we recently sold her 2020 M1 Macbook Air (freelance doesn't always pay, kids lol). This could end up being a simple case swap for her PC. For the desk, we're using an IKEA Linmonn 78" tabletop with 4-5 legs that likely needs to be replaced, with an LTT Northern Lights deskpad. (currently only 2 legs and a white Alex 5-drawer cabinet). I like my DeepCool case but I'm not opposed to something silence-focused like the Define 7/XL. 3. Monitors 🖥 HP 27fw 1920x1080 IPS 75Hz - birthday gift from 2018 Gigabyte M27Q 2560x1440 IPS 170Hz - paid $100 CAD, has a couple of cosmetic issues Microsoft Surface Pro 2 i5 4300u - can be used as a spare wireless monitor Long term, I could upgrade to an additional 27"+ 1440p/4K IPS display or a single massive Ultrawide with Picture In Picture, so my wife and I can have our own displays but we're fine for now. 4. Peripherals ⌨🖱 Already covered, no need to upgrade. 5. Why are you upgrading Ideally, if I had the budget for a 4090, I'd buy a 4090 because Path Tracing is great but as my PC is more than fine for my needs, the upgrades for my PC are more acoustic and temps focused, than gaming-centric. My wife's PC might just need a quieter CPU cooler, case and possible GPU swap (but that could be pricey as the RX 6600 is working fine, just louder as the fan speed increases). Would there be much of a real-world difference using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Adobe XD if she upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5700/5800x/Ryzen 9 5900x over the 5600g? Or would the differences in work be negligible? I'm honestly leaning towards another B550 mobo with 6+ SATA ports and a larger case swap for her as that might balance out the noise and temps. If we could find something in pink, I know she'd really love it 6. Additional info Side point for future consideration; how long will my 5900x and 3060Ti be useful (I know this is more contentious due to the "lower" VRAM lol) in work and games? Would I notice any massive improvements in workstation tasks & gaming that would make upgrading to a Ryzen 9 7th gen a more value-focused option? And say I wanted to upgrade my GPU to something better, has anyone been able to find a suitable option on the AMD Radeon side that would be comparable with OpenCL performance to CUDA in Adobe CC to this 3060Ti or even better? Or should I just go with a 4070/Ti/4080 and be done with it? I've been eying up both the RTX 4070Ti/4080 and RX 7900 XT/XTX as long-term investment goals but having a toddler makes this far less of a priority, if my 3060Ti can handle Path Tracing in Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake II with DLSS on xD My PC is pictured below. I noticed that one of the fans will rattle at higher RPMs, so I may need to adjust the mount or go for another 140mm. I'm not opposed to Noctua fans since RGB is fine but not a requirement. I didn't mention it, but I have a spare EVGA fully modular 80+ (Bronze or Gold) 750w PSU that I would need to find time to swap out and cable management. I also have one of my 870 QVO 1TB SSDs that has the plastic connector broken off with the pins still accessible in the SATA data port (cable has the plastic housing stuck) that's not touched but could be dying as I get disk write issues when updating Steam games on that drive. Once again thanks in advance folks and I truly appreciate you helping out and giving some time to help solve this

Valve claims that only 9.4% of current gaming rigs are ready for VR... but as that number is based on the results of the Steam Hardware Survey, we don't think that it paints an accurate picture of the proportion of gaming PCs that are ready for VR that people actually intend to use for VR gaming. So, being a part of this awesome forum community full of enthusiasts, we decided to see if we could paint a more accurate picture of the current state of the "VR for PC" market. If you plan on using your gaming PC for VR, please take part in this test. Run the SteamVR Performance Test that Valve currently has available (through steam, you can find it at this link), and once you have your results, please do the following: 1. Comment below listing the following specs of your PC: Rig name Cpu Gpu Ram Score 2. Add a screenshot of your SteamVR Performance Test results. 3. Answer the poll question in this thread. And that is all we need! Thanks so much for taking part in this fun little survey - let's see how many of you are truly ready for VR gaming! If you thought this was cool and want to take part in another fun survey that we have here on the forum, check out @Jumper118's Cinebench R15 thread here.

Cyberpunk 2077 in VR blew my mind! I'm using Luke Ross R.E.AL. VR Mod because just works, easily and it is actively updated. It cost $10 /month and I've already gotten 2 updates for CP2077 v2.02 in a week. Or just cancel your $10 membership after you get the mod. I wasted hours on vorpx before, and it was interesting but the graphics were poorly optimized. To install you put the REAL un-zip files in the /bin/x86 folder and run the REAL dot bat file. A DOS Window pops open to install the mod. I found the REAL mod looks way better and more immersive. There is also a pop-up overlay to setup the mod in game. I had a steep learning curve in VR, but turned it to my advantage. I play Mouse & Keyboard. But in the goggles I am blind and it's easy for my fingers to get lost. So I Taped Bumps on keys W - X - I to find them in the dark. Now I had to learn how to coordinate my right hand mouse, left hand keyboard and line of sight by aiming my whole head at the crosshairs. It feels just like a Jet Fighter Pilot, or Iron Man Heads Up Display inside of CP2077 VR. I just look at an enemy, then put mouse on the target and when the cross hair + turns red I pop the trigger. The hard part is having to use my whole head and neck muscles to look and aim precisely. The next problem I had was I decided to try an alternate ending. I had to learn how to play in VR while in a MEGA boss fight. Took me 3 days day to figure out how to wear Kurt Hansen down. I have a core i9-10850K, 32GB, RTX3060Ti, HP Reverb G2 (2160x2160 @90Hz per eye). I tuned the settings to max res, lower quality, DLSS performance. Tip #1: Reduce the FOV to 70 in CP2077 settings. It makes the HUD narrower and easier to read. I get solid 60 FPS in the CP2077 benchmark. I gave my HP Reverb the CP2077 Netrunner cosplay treatment. I designed VR tracking cubes, printed then out onto foam core. It makes the centering rock solid. Tip #2: If the centering drifts off, shake your head and it resets.
