Hi Can I use G4560 processor with Gigabyte Radeon RX 5500 XT OC 4GB...I know there will be bottle neck but soon I will upgrade my processor and mobo but cannot upgrade now. Is there any serious issue will be appear? if I use them? I am a graphic designer and play little bit games.

I currently am using prehistoric build : Intel Pentium dual core e5700 3 ghz asus p5g41t-m-lx3 motherboard 6 gb ddr3 1333 ram nvidia gt 610 2 gb graphics card 14440x990 monitor to sum it all it runs at max 5fps in current tiles with all low settings. i am thinking about a new build, intel pentium g4560 gigabyte b250 motherboard 8 gb ddr4 2400 ram nvidia gtx 1060 3gb or gtx 1050ti 4gb is that of for my resolution? provide guidance, much appreciated. i seen few website with fps different of less than 5 between g4560 and i5s and i7s . how is that possible? i was planing on getting i5 2500k or i5 3470 but after seeing the g4560 benchmarks i am confused as hell the website i am talking about is tomshardware

Hi guys im posting this because im planing on building a new entery level pc to keep up with with the next gen and I have become very confused about my choice of CPU. I am really struggling to decide between the following two CPUs, and when I look at benchmarks and system requirements of new pc games it makes the whole situation alot more confusing. 1.The Intel Pentium G4560 ----> Intel Kaby Lake Pentium G4560 3.5GHz or 2. AMD FX8350 ----> AMD FX8350 with AMD Wraith Cooler From the searching around that I have done the Intel Pentium G4560 seems to out preform the AMD FX 8350 in almost all games like in this example. ----> YouTube Benchmarking Video (There are many other examples of data like this such as CPU Boss ect...) With the video alone the answer seems very clear however, the reason I am so confused is that AMD FX 8350 is listed under the recomended hardware requirements of many new releases such as FarCry Primal and Battlefield1. However Intel's version of both the minimal and recomended hardware requirements are asking for something closer to an i5 or i7. ----> BattleField 1 Hardware Requirements Can Anyone please help me out with this. Can I really get away with buying a KabyLake Pentium CPU to run newer games? I am pairing it with a GeForce GTX 1050 OC 2GB and I don't plan on gameing in 4K or at Ultra Settings. I have waited too long for Ryzen, and now they only release the highest-end models... I think I want to go with the G4560 because it's so cheap. My heaviest game: battlefield 1 Good option? Which mobo should I pair with it? I have a RX 470 and a8 6600k. Thanks guys

ASUS B150M-PLUS D3 and Intel Pentium G4560 Hello, my system powers on but it refuses to enter bios and my screen simply doesn't find any input. i tried different ram and made sure all power cables are connected. I checked http://processormatch.intel.com/MotherBoards/CompatibleBoards And actually didn't find it there...Are they not compatible and is this why i can't get in to bios eventhough the system powers on? Is the solution to return it for a compatible motherboard?

If I go for the G4560 I have the chance to buy a RX470 (currently on sale) which is a great combo for gaming. I play ranging from eSports games (LoL) to AAA/GPU demanding games. This all sounds pretty great but I've read that AVX isn't supported by the 7th Gen Pentiums which apparently plays a big part in rendering. If I went for the i3, I'll have to stick with a GTX 1050, not as good for gaming as the RX470 but it would kind of get the job done (would have to obviously lower the quality a lot). I would be rendering around 5-15 minute videos, but it all depends so max 30minutes. I've also read that AMD GPU's are great for edtiting/rendering due to OpenCL, which is also in Nvidia cards but not as evolved. Is there a big difference? I was waiting for Ryzen but sadly the R3, line of Ryzen that would interest me is only going to be released on the 2H and I've already got half of my parts laying around collecting dust and I don't have the ability to wait for half a year. This build would probably be upgraded in 5-6 years as a whole(GPU,RAM,STORAGE), the CPU in maybe 2 years, after two summers of part-times since I need to start saving up for college. I wanna buy the new Pentium G4560 for my rig, and came up with the following plan: I want to buy an h110 motherboard and let the seller flash the newest bios to ensure kaby lake compatibility. I want to buy a board that supports ddr3 ram, because I already have 2 4gb ddr3 sticks and don't want to spend another 50 euros. But now I looked on the official intel page and found that the G4560 only supports ddr3l and ddr4 ram... What would happen when I put a ddr3l compatible processor in a ddr3 compatible board? Would my old sticks work? Thanks in advance

I'm buying a PC for my mom, just Internet browsing, movie streaming and games like Farmiville and other facebook junk. Is there a reason to buy i3 or G4560 is enough ? From my understanding they are pretty similar except for clock speed and pentium doesn't support some instruction set. Thank you.

I was planning on buying a g4560 on amazon soon but I have noticed that it literally isn't there anymore at least on the US website. I can't find it anywhere on amazons website. Can anyone shed some light on why this happened? Does anyone know when they are back in stock?

So far I have only bought a z170 Asus mobo. I plan on using a G4560 CPU. I have read I will need a bios update which might be hard to do in South Australia without friends. Ram I am unsure of, will ddr4 1600 8gbx2 cause any issues? Corsair vengeance pro 2400 8gbx2 seems to be the cheapest option locally. No plans to run a GPU for a while, an rx480 is all I'm considering upgrading to midyear. As for hhds, budget is the concern. Can I get away with a 120gb SSD for booting & a 2tb Seagate barracuda 3.5"? What's the recommendations? The PC is strictly for word processing, web browsing and youtube in 4k. What am I missing? I don't have a the budget for a fancy case, I'm hoping temps will be kept low, a SHAW case is all I can afford but I'd consider any sub $50aud case. What else am I missing? I don't need a sound card ATM, do I need a CD/DVD drive these days? Are there any cables that I need? Will the G4560 come with a heatsink/fan combo? Will the case require more fans? I sold it on because of money issues, had to get all the money we could to get by, and I've been buying second hand PC's every since. I've had a few close calls with going to buy new parts but it never happened. I've always had a passion for computers and can't wait to build another new PC. Luckily the time has come! For around £550 should i go with https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Btwyyf with a overclockable motherboard and great gpu (I would upgrade the cpu to an overclockable i5 and buy a good cooler soon), or https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/hJ933F for a shitty motherboard and the worst 480, and roll with that for a while. The g4560 might bottleneck the gpu, but #1- im upgrading it soon and #2 I could crank settings and resolution up to remove the bottleneck if i felt that would be better. Last year, everyone is recommending the G4400 for budget gaming, but with the G4560 now out and priced almost the same as the skylake counterpart, it doesnt make any sense to buy the G4400 right now. The Kaby Lake G3930 however, is cheaper than the G4400 with almost the same performance. So is the G3930 the new G4400?

I am building a computer for my cousin using some old pc parts I have left over. We are on a 350 dollar budget which I can meet if we use my old gtx 950, however, I want to make a case for saving the extra dough for either a gtx 1060 and rx480, but i have no baseline. What kind of milage can he expect out of the 950, 1060, and rx 480? I am basically looking for some ammo to try to convince him. I set about to build a very simple PC, just a g4560, a relatively cheap h110, from asrock. It is not my first build by any means thus I thought it might go flawlessly, but here I am now. I don't get a post and there is no power on the USB ports, but the fans spin up. This is strange. Any ideas? I can't really wait for a replacement of every single part, so I can pretty much only try to swap one part. I do not own an accessible GPU or a Kabylake/Skylake chip however, since my main system is a custom loop. Any ideas how to go about?

So I built a PC for my family a year back and it has an Intel I7 6700, currently I Am deciding what CPU I should get for my gaming and rendering build. I don't have as big as a budget to buy another i7 but what I can buy is the Pentium G4560 (which I've heard good things about). My family uses the i7 PC for casual web browsing and opening up Microsoft Word a bit. I personally think that the i7 is an overkill now that no one will be using it to its max potential (gaming, editing, rendering). So what I wanted to do was swap the 2 CPUs for each other, but I don't want to ruin the speedy experience for anyone in my family... Would there be a big change in speed/performance for the casual user going from an i7 6700 to a pentium G4560??? ( No one else in my family will do gaming/rendering on the i7 pc after I build my own, so they will just casually use it) Any responses are greatly appreciated

I have an intel pentium g4560 kabylake gigabyte z270 gaming k3 8 gb ddr4 2133mhz (xmp at 2400mhz) asus rog strix gtx 1060 6gb I have strange framerates in games: Watch dogs 2 i get 40-60 fps on lowest settings Crysis 2 maximus edition 40-70 fps on highest but the worst is cs go where i cant get past 100 fps on high settings I am using an 2560x1080 ultrawide monitor at 60hz I don't think that cpu can bottleneck that much especially on cs go, in witch even at 70 fps the game stutters a little bit im starting to think that my hdd or psu could be responsible cuz i took them from my old system ( coolermaster gx650 bronze psu, seagate baracuda 1.5TB HDD) anyone can help me?

Hi! I have an old ddr2 system and I would like to build a new system. I got a Zotac gtx 1050 ti OC. I would like to build a new ddr4 system but i can't decide which CPU to buy. I was thinking to get the intel g4560. Its a great value a lot of people say. I can belive that, i've seen a lot of reviews and comparision videos but in most cases they don't show the minimum fps. The maximum CPU i would go is an i5-7500. Or i could save some money to get an i5-6400. Any recommendations?

The Pentium G4560 and i3s are basically the same now... How will they differentiate the two processors in the future? I have an Idea. Make the i3s 3 cores 3 threads! What do you guys think?

I want to upgrade my pc into an entry level gaming pc. I have figured out most of the things i will buy except the cpu. I want a cpu capable of multitasking (like gaming with chrome and skype in the background) and, of course, gaming. I have been searching for cpu's and the best cpu that was under 100€ was amd fx 6300. Recently though the intel pentium g4560 came out wich has 5%-10% difference with an i3. I know that they are about the same (except from upgradeability which i dont want) I also read somewhere if i choose the g4560 it wouldn't work with windows 7. P.S. The rest of the specs are going to be: MSI H110M Pro-D 8gb ram (either ddr4 or ddr3 depending on cpu) EVGA 430W 80plus Gigabyte Radeon RX460 2gb windforce oc (will be upgraded later into an rx470 or 480 for better performance and a little bit of VR) Thanks, in advance.
