Hey all! Sorry for the blurry photo, but this is my day 3 on attempting to fix this EVGA Classified SR-2. Apparently, someone took parts off of it for an electronics project, explaining the 7 missing 560uF 6.3v capacitors. However, it would appear that that same person has also removed the damn BIOS selection switch, and I cannot find a replacement part anywhere. If anyone can find a replacement part that I can purchase, that'd be amazing, but otherwise, I'd need to wire a set of jumpers(maybe even a separate switch) to get this working. As you can see, the bios sel switch itself is missing, and someone has clearly put some hot air on this board, moving that switch around. Any ideas on what I can do?

I just finished watercooling my 3080 FTW3 ULTRA and reconnected my PC to the rest of my setup. First boot, no problem, Temps are a dream at 24°C and not rising above 26° just doing normal desktop stuff. Then I thought I'd try and heat it up a bit. RDR2 benchmark it is, so I start it up and just as I open Precision X1 *rrrrrrrrrrr* PC freezes. Restarts itself after a minute maybe and - no VGA (red light on the mobo). Frick I'm not sure what I did next, but in the next half hour I did everything imaginable to get it up and running again. I think after pressing it into the PCI-E slot a bit harder (due to the GPU's IO shield it never actually clicked into the slot) I got a picture on my next post, but only for a few seconds until it froze again, this time with little green squares on screen. That usually means that the GPU is having connection issues but after actually removing the IO shield and putting it into the slot until it clicked, still no picture on screen and the VGA LED on the mobo is still on. If anyone has an idea that may be helpful, I'll gladly take your advice! Stay safe and game on! Hi, I looked through and tried all of the steps in the thread about not posting (with the exception of using a motherboard speaker and clearing the CMOS because I don’t know how to do that on my motherboard) but I can’t figure out what’s going wrong with my new pc build. I’m running: Ryzen 7 5800x ASUS TUF x570-PLUS WIFI 16 GB (2x8, tried one stick) DDR4 3200mhz Seasonic Focus GX-850 EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1080 FTW (from my previous build) My motherboard has debugging LEDs, and the LEDs for VGA and BOOT remain lit. I’m confident my GPU isn’t dead because I used it in my previous build yesterday, and I’ve tried reseating it to no avail. My entire PC lights up and fans spin, and the LEDs on my GPU also light up. I’ve also tried reseating my RAM, putting my GPU in the other PCIE slot, running a single stick of RAM, and made sure every cable is plugged in completely. Additionally, my motherboard’s sticker has the last four digits 3001, which I read is the BIOS version. According to ASUS’ website, that is recent enough to support my CPU. What other troubleshooting steps can I take to figure out what’s going wrong?

There is a new Lian-li case, it is called the O11D-mini. I was really hype for this case, as I need a new one, until I found out it needs a SFX PSU, and I have a ATX one in my current system. I know SFX units can get really expensive, but I found the EVGA SuperNova GM650 SFX PSU. I am really hesitant to pull the trigger on this one, as it is around $120 USD, and from all of the other SFX PSU on PcPartPicker, they ranged in the upper $100 to upper $300. I just want to make sure that this is a good unit, as I have had a not great experience with an EVGA PSU before, granted, that was a really low quality unit (600BQ) Thanks! Any help is welcomed!

is there any way to fix this? just noticed, and forgot to check earlier, but I was wondering already why temps are quite a bit higher than when I'm using precision x1... so is there a setting in Afterburner to actually use both of my EVGA GPU's fans or am I stuck using EVGA precision for custom fan curves? For Reference The Card Is called EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1070 FTW2 GAMING (08G-P4-6676-KR)

I've got a total of nine drives in a server running this PSU and am out of drive power connectors. It has two labelled SATA and one labelled peripherals, so with a three drive adapter I can run nine total. If I want to add extra drives, how can I pull that off without getting another PSU? Can I run more than three drives on a single connector?

After the recent drivers update my fps is ridiculously bad, I'm currently getting 38-40fps on average everywhere I go on the lowest settings possible. Turning anything up barely makes a difference and I can't reach above the 40s. Yesterday I had about 110fps on average.

Hi, I'm planning to build a CM NR200P ITX with 5600X and 3060 Ti, which of these PSU will be a better choice? I'm also thinking which one is quieter and which has easier cables to manage in ITX case? Corsair SF600 Platinium 600W - 130 EUR (160 USD) EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GM Gold 650W - 115 EUR (140 USD) Thank you.

So I plan on getting this PSU, https://www.newegg.com/p/1HU-00J7-00878?Item=9SIAR88D0P4749. Apparently you can only get it in Asia Should I trust the Seller?? Don't say it's overkill, I plan on overclocking everything!!!

in precision x1, is that a good idea or will it fry my card? and does it even work? I tried with no load and it clocked at 2012, which is 12 MHz more than what my OC does. Good idea? y/n

Hello all, I currently own a EVGA G2 850w PSU, at the time it was one of the better price/quality gold rated PSU's out there. I've owned this one since 2015, I'm planning to buy a cablemod Pro set for my new build However I've seen complaints about newer models, the G5's give off a harsh coil whine. So the questions that I have is: Is there a chance that I run into problems with the G2 paired up with the 3080? Are the issues in the EVGA lineup being adressed/can we expect a better fleshed out "G6?" psu-line from them? I just don't want to buy a cablemod set for this PSU, to then having to throw it away due to no EVGA replacement options being available.

I've recently installed the aforementioned card, and since installation I have been having strange crashing issues. (see attached picture) I'm not sure what the cause of this could be as I've never seen this issue before installing the card. The PC is plugged directly into the wall outlet, and the GPU is using 3 individual PCIe power connectors from the PSU. My System Specs: i7-8086k at 4.9Ghz Dark Rock Pro 4 Hyper X Pred RGB 32GB 3200Mhz Aorus Gaming 7 Z370 EVGA 3090 Ultra Gaming FTW3 Dark Power 12 1200W Any help or insight on the matter would be appreciated! -Unsung

Got an EVGA 3080 FTW3 ULTRA on Amazon Spain for 718,18€ (I dont have to pay 21% IVA where I live, so from 868€ it went to 718,18€) Probably later I will have to pay like 60€, but maybe not if im lucky and they dont ask me, hapens a lot of times.. The question is basically, do I have to use all 3 8 pin connectors on the GPU? Or can I use only 2 8 pins, and what are the benefits of using the third one, because I dont plan to OC heavily anyways. If I have to use all 3, could you point me in the right direction on how I can do that? I have a Gigabyte G750H 750W 80 Plus Gold PSU, in case I dont have that 3rd conector, can I use some kind of adaptor? Thank you very much, and sorry for my English.

Happy new year everyone! I have a problem with my PSU unit. It is EVGA Nex650g 80+ Gold rated. It makes barely audible electrical noises. Does it when idle and under load. Doesn't make it continuously, it is arythmic, comes and goes, i have a video, if you ignore fan noise, it will be audible. What may be the problem? Thanks in advance. VID-20210101-WA0000.mp4

I own an xc3 ultra 3080 and I was watching the 3060 ti review video today, and noticed that when showing the average frame rate on CS:GO with a 3080 was 650 at 1440p max settings. I play 1080p max settings and am getting around an average of 390 fps. This isn't the only game that I have noticed an underwhelming framerate in. All of my drivers from Nvidia are up to date, and I also have Evga's Precision X1 program running. My current pc specs are as follows: I7-10700k XC3 Ultra 3080 Geil Evo 16gb 3600 MSI Z490 Gaming Edge Wifi NZXT C850 If anyone has any insight to what might be holding the card back, please let me know. Thank you!

Budget (including currency): Would prefer $2k, but can squeak out $3k. Less than 3k prefered. Willing to upgrade over time. Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cyberpunk2077 on Ultra, Starcitizen one day, Multimedia, movies, TV primary tv in living room via internet. I can't walk so this is my outlet for simulating getting outside. Realism is a MUST. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I would like this system to last me a long time, 8 years or more if possible. Cpu; 5900x prefered, 3950x will settle MB; x570 Either Gigabyte or Asus. Tough series, ROG, Aorus etc. NEED input on this, so many options. WIFI is a plus since I do have friends over and need a hotspot. GPU; EVGA RTX 3080 Hybrid. With or without rgb. RAM; G skill Ripjaw 32g, 2x16. Can upgrade to more later. SSD M.2; Samsung Evo970 1TB, More info on this too please. 1TB required though. Case: Liam Li Lancool 2 Mesh, or Fractal Design Meshify 2. I have a CRAPTON of dust where I live, farmland, Corn among other things. So DUST is an issue, Even with Heppa filters and blowers for the house. Power; 80+Gold Full modular is a MUST, NEED info on this too, 750 watts seems enough, but unsure. EVGA Supert nova or Corsair RM750 seem solid. Cooling; AIO or AIR? Long term system, but my Corsair AIO for my 9 year old system still runs soo.. Cable's + Other; NO idea. Price seems to come out to 2.6k non scalping prices. Would prefer 2k, can go to 3k but I don't "want" to. Replacing this system; an AMD Phenom2 x6 1090T. 16G Memory, Crossfire formula 4 Mother board., Core clock 1267MHz, Radeon RX 570 series, Memory GDDR5. It had SLI when I first got it, the the sapphire cards kept failing without overclock.

Hey, i was wondering if it matters to replace my psu without changing the cables. I currently have a EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GS (V2) and would like to replace it for a 850watt model. I have seen on internet that you should not replace EVGA for other brand because the cables might be different. but would it matter if i change my current EVGA for a new EVGA like the EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3.

I have considered RMA'ing this thing but I don't want to wait long without my computer I do not remember buying any kind of special warranty either... should I just replace the entire modular psu and get a new one? If so, I plan on upgrading to a 3080 soon what psu would go well with this setup? Also if you guys have any fixes for coil whine please let me know because this is really annoying. thanks.

Hey guys, I'll try to explain the situation clear as possible. Installed a new GPU and now the RGB on the Fans/ CPU cooler and rams don't work but the RGB on the VGA. Specs : Ryzen 7 2700x / ASUS TUf mb450 plus / XPG 2x8Gb / EVGA ftw3 3060 ti so before i install the VGA the RGB worked. after that only the GPU RGB started working but the coolers and ram. i installed the NVIDIA drivers. can anyone help me with this to get the whole system lighting again?
