Hi guys. I currently have a Fractal R5 hosting a i7 6700k cooled by a Dark Rock Pro 3 and a Msi gaming x 1080, all cooled by three Noctua Noctua Redux NF-P14s, and I was thinking in going to a watecooled system for the CPU and GPU with one of the EK Predator 280 prebuilt kits. I really value silent operation for my system, and wanted your opinion on this: Do you guys think my current system can get more silent by passing from the current air cooled setup to the EK kits. Generally I do value more silence operation over temperatures and overclocking . Thanks

I'm just wanting to know, does this case (Razer H440) fit this Radiator ( EK Coolstream PE 360 triple)

I know that the EK Block officially says that the Strix standard backplate doesn't work with the block however since this is Linus Tech and I've once seen Linus take a Dremel to a Titan (Now I think about it, what haven't the LMG group took a Dremel to?) So, is there any way to jury rig the backplate to work with the EK block? It's such a lovely backplate!

I've been playing around in the ek configurator after reading the pinned 'Watercooling 101' post. After looking around at different forum posts I figured I'd go with the EK-Supremacy EVO (Copper Acetal version). I was wondering: If I were to use 1/2" ID tubing, what kind of fittings should I run off the CPU block to the tubes? There are many options in the configurator, and I just don't know what to choose. HD? HDC? ACF? How can I tell which size accommodates my tubing? Thanks in advance.

Hi im putting together my watercooling loop and was about to install the ek fc terminal. I wanted to use the optional outlet for a more pleasing look but when i had a look at it nothing i have seems to fit the hole that the screw/plug came out of. Do anybody know if i need to get an extender or something for it?

Hello, this i my manta build ``Projekt Pink Manta´´ that i have build and done some mod to. The mods i have done is to cut so the reservoir fits where i wanted and so one tube can go down under the psu cover. Did paint some parts like the ssd´s and some details on the case. Maybe gonna try to fix so some of the bends get more straight and looks better. Still thinking about to do something with the top panel on the case so more air can come out from the top. The Specs are I5 6600k ASUS Z170I PRO EVGA GTX 1070 SC Corsair SF600 Corsair 16 GB Ram Samsung EVO 840 and 850, 250 gb Alphacool Eisbecher D5 150mm Plexi Reservoir All the other watercooling parts are EK NoiseBlocker NB-eLoop B12

So I redid the tubing in my case a little bit. The biggest change was from the 140mm rad to the CPU block and the CPU block to the 360mm rad up top using 90 degree fittings and I was wondering what you thought?

Hey, I've just built my first custom loop and all has gone well bar the monoblock, it has trapper air (see pic) that just won't budge. I've put the pump on max and moved the case to nearly every angle and it's still there! Is a bit foamy as it's just been moved around a bit. Any ideas on how to remove the air from this bit?

I recently got the ek240g and I was wondering if there was an alternative 120mm radiator i can add to my loop because they are not selling a 120mm radiator expansion. I also will need 2 fittings

Hello everyone! A few days ago I started to plan out my first water cooling build. I decided to go with EK for most of the parts, listening to the advice from community. However, I really want some synced RGB with this build. I wonder if I can pick the Thermaltake Pacific W4 CPU block despite of claims that TT has atrocious liquid cooling products. Pretty much all other components will be from EK, other than the coolant. Thanks!

Hi First post here, although I've been reading here for a while... My question is: Should I get a 30mm thick 420mm HWlabs GTS, or a 60mm thick EK XE360mm to expand the loop in my Fractal Design R5? Background: I have an R5 with all drive bays removed, in which I used to have a 360mm EK Predator as an intake, cooling 2 1080Ti's with the 7700K CPU on air (NH-D15). It used to be a near silent aircooled rig, that started making way to much noise once I added in a second 108Ti in SLI (MSI Gaming X). One was near silent, 2 horrible. I then put both of them on water using a modded (cpu block removed) Predator expandable AIO and prefilled GPU blocks. This was my first venture into non-CLC watercooling... This worked fine in my use case (GPU's mostly using only 60% of their TDP), but really struggled when I stressed both GPU's for a longer time at 100% TDP. OC was not an option, so I started plotting an upgrade... Given the complexity to empty, fill and bleed the Predator unit while it is in the case and the fact that the low powered DDC 3.1 in the unit is not able to push both a second radiator and QDC connections, I bought a EK D5/140mm pump res combo and a 30mm thick HWlabs GTS280mm radiator which I put in the front with 2 Noctua NF-P14s's before and added QDC's to that as well as a temporary solution, so I could make up my mind how te proceed. I didn't dare go for something thicker, because I suspected it would not fit. If I measure now, a 45 or 60mm thick 280mm rad might actually just fit, but only in push... While HWlabs 30mm thick GTS rads are reported to perform similar to 45mm thick EK PE rads at the same dimension, the difference between the 360mm and the 280, combined with the shift from 2200rpm max Vardar fans to 1200rpm max Noctua's has made the current solution unable to cope with the heat of the 2 GPU's at 60% TDP. I added a water temperature probe and the water gets above 60 degrees quickly... I run on one GPU atm. I can still hook the Predator back into the loop, with it's pump disabled, in which case I get decent temperatures when I test it... To do this, the Predator sits outside the case and the cpu is still not in the loop. A predator has rather high noise 2200rpm Vardar fans, but only a 45mm EK PE radiator core in it. I want to change this to a system contained within the case, and the most obvious way to do so, would be to add either a 420mm x 30mm rad in the top, or a 360mm x 60mm one. The HWlabs GTS420 and XE360 both seem to be best in class, but I can't find any comparison between them. With the 360mm I get to keep an 140mm Noctua exhaust fan, (also giving me more negative pressure in the case unless I reverse it), with the 420mm I can't keep that fan. I mainly run the system with low CPU usage, and full load on the GPU's at 60% TDP limit right now. I want the least possible amount of noise in this use case, but headroom for scaling up to (noisier) overclocking in the future would ideally still be an option... I am leaning towards AF-F14 PPC 2000 PWM or NF-F12 PPC 2000 PWM fans for both usecases. Has anyone compared the performance of both rads to each other?

hello, i am looking to water cool a vega 64. the choices for water blocks are pretty slim. i can get an EK block for $130, and an aquacomputer block for $140. which is far more than i want to spend on a block. but i can also get a barrow block for about $85. therein lies my dilemma. any thoughts?

Hi. I'm thinking about buying one of EK's a240g water cooling sets, as i've been wanting to get into water cooling for quite some time now, but the steep price kept me at bay. The only problem is that I would like to replace the existing soft tubing with some PETG tubing. I'm not very good with water cooling, so I didn't see an issue, until I read on the product plan that EK ''doesn't plan on making hard tube fittings with the fluid gaming linup.'' Where does that leave me? I don't know nearly enough to figure this out myself. Thanks in advance!

I just put together a EK a240g kit with a extra 360mm extension last night and my pump has been making this noise since I turned it on. The noise is actually quite loud and extremely noticeable. Is it a bad pump? I even have 4mm rubber rings around the screws that are holding the pump Video link - https://youtu.be/t4PZ543hx58 Edit: Pump is connected to W_PUMP+ and is running at 2599rpm according to asus suite

Hello has anyone here watercooled cpu and gpu on a 570x I plan to have a 240mm at the top with just pull fans and a 360mm for the front with push and pull fans. I plan to buy the possiden and loop that with the 240mm rad so that's why I think just the pull should be fine and 360mm rad for cpu Sorry If I don't make sense I'm learning about watercooling and planning to do it

Hi, I am in my final phases of planning my first hardline water-cooled build. Could use some ease of my that everything is in order and compatible in terms of water-cooling PC works fine as is, this is solely a cooling question. My PC specs: Ryzen 1700 (want to OC to 3.9 or 4Ghz) Gigabyte gaming 5 mobo GTX 1080 Ti FE Dark Base Pro 900 white edition WC setup: Phanteks 1080 block EK monoblock 1 Hwlabs GTS 420 in the front (need some HDD cages in the bottom) 1 Hwlabs SR2 360 in the top (or GTS 420? Unsure) EK pump (best one with most head pressure) Vardar white evo fans (140/120mm) Ek 250 tube res Ek 10/12mm hard compression fittings Valve for drain port TT Pacific temperature sensor (with LED display) All the PETG tubing I can fit to be able to experiment All the required tools for the bending Blue Pastel coolant (still debating which one) As you can guess the build will be white and blue, and I don't want to paint a lot as painting the Mobo was already a hastle. That's why I am specifically getting the Hwlabs radiators. Main concerns: Can the pump handle the system? Can I keep the noise low with OC? Should I buy the SR2 bc of multiple fill ports? Would be good for getting the air out? Is a flow meter necessary? Does it have added value? Might buy one for the looks, but if it would have any benefits I might by an electronic one Thanks for your thoughts! =)

thinking of buying a EK FLUID GAMING A240 the cooling liquid that came with the kit is a EK-CryoFuel clear but is it possible to get a EK-CryoFuel in green and mix it in the build? since the kit was made of aluminum so im a bit worried. also, is there anyway to make ek send them both together? caz im living in Hong Kong and the shipping is really pricey.

Hi guys. I'm planning to water cool my i7 6700k and my GTX 1080TI. To power the loop i'm using a EK D5 XRES 100 pump, and to cool everything a Nemesis GTS 360 (read that the rad is quite flow restrictive). For rad fans Noctua NF-F12. Wanted to ask you guys as this is my firs loop: At the moment I have the 360 rad. Would this be enough or should I buy a 120 rad as well? How much the 120rad would help in this loop? Maybe 5 degrees lower temps? Also I am worried if the pump is strong enough for all this blocks and rads. Note that I am going for a silent build and would run the pump at maximum 50% and fans around 800rpm or lower depending on the temps. Will have to test pump speed and fans speed to get a good balance between noise and temps. Also I'm not really planning to overclock a lot. Maybe 10%. Thanks

So guys here is the basic jist, I have yet another system coming up. Now to be fairly honest I'm probably not building this at all until volta, that's the most likely way I am going with this. However, I have a number of watercooling concerns I want to address. For the first 3 months I am only going to be cooling the cpu in a custom loop and later adding the gpu as I quite like the look of AIB coolers, but I will eventually take the leap with that too. I wanted you guys to take a look at this parts list, I can assume its probably absolutely terrible and some of you are probably laughing incredibly hard. However I have never so much as touched watercooling before and I'm jumping right in at the deep end. (The case I am going to be using is the CM H500P) My main questions are: Are these parts compatible? I want to use red aurora coolant, opinions? Mounting, I have no idea how to mount any of these, or if mounts are included etc. How many fittings would I need? I just slapped on what ever really. I'm using the ROG board that comes with the mono-block, so no need to advise me to get a CPU block unless the rog one is terrible then please do so? I've heard you need to clean and flush all the parts first? how would I do this? The reservoir says the top should only be used as a fill port, does that mean I can not use it as an inlet? what are the problems with that? Finally advise me on if my mounting order/path is possible if/and/or needs to be corrected The mounting order is as follows. First I want the pump just next to the motherboard, probably about 6cm from the sata ports, underneath it the pump, and the radiator at the top of the case. How would I manage this? Oh and of course the bay reservoir would be fitted in the 5.25" bay, but I'm not sure if I'm going ahead with that 100% yet all depends on your guys advice.

I was wondering if the ek fluid gaming is getting hardline tubing in the next year or so? So I can change mine later. Thanks

Hi I'm wondering if anyone has tried to mount the EK a240g waterblock to a NVIDIA 9 series reference boards? I just got a Titan X (Maxwell) and I was looking at getting the EK kit. I know it fits all 10 series reference boards but given how similar the 10 and 9 series reference boards screws are I was thinking the waterblock might fit. It appears that all but one or two screws align so it might not but I just want to check. If anyone has tried this or can confirm that would be great.
