  1. The ultimate gaming rig. No case for easy access and better cooling. Motherboard: some supermicro server board of ebay, for better stability. Dual quad core xeons, because modern gaming is all about dem cores right? 16GB memory - more dimms = better. Custom heatsink mounting for better cooling. HD 7750. Gives me 20-30 fps on most titles, for a more cinematic experience. Anything more is overkill. High quality, custom 3D printed GPU mounting system. 750 watt gold rated modular power supply; not at all overkill. I prefer Hard drives over SSDs - the longer loading screens give me time to contemplate the meaning of life. On a more serious note... this was my first PC, built a couple years ago when I was very short on cash. The PSU was leftover from a short stint of bitcoin mining (I almost broke even!). For about $350 usd all up, this was a good way for me to get into PC gaming, and for video editing it's actually fairly great.

  3. So hello people of LTT! My birthday has passed, and I finally got something that I have wanted to get for a long time already. A GGGGAMING PC I built this yesterday but, sadly, I did not take pictures while building (because I'm an idiot) But still, I wanted to share with you what I have built. (If you want to know where I got the name: Merle Dixon from TWD was my inspiration for the name. I dont know why I named it after him, I still wonder why....) CPU - i5-4460: Cheapest i5 I can get. In my local computer store, there was no 4440, 4430, 4570 etc... Cooler - Stock: Deal with it Mobo - Asus B85M-G: - I got it because it was cheap, it came with the latest BIOS, and I got lazy Ram - G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB 2x4GB CL9: Great kit. great price SSD - Crucial M550 128GB: I got it on sale, so why not HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB - I wanted a WD Blue/Green, but they were out of stock, so I had to get this Case - CM N200 w/ Windows - Again, got this on sale PSU - Seasonic S12II-520 - Seasonic is great, so was the price of this GPU - Palit Jetstream 960 OK, OK Ill explain why I got the GTX 960 First of all, this was the only GPU I could find in the store ( i get discount there), I would have gotten a 280x, but all cards were out of stock, Ill upgrade this GPU, but right now, it will do the job Ill take pics soon of the finished build Stay tuned
  4. I was planing to build a new pc CPU : intel i7 4790k Cooler : CM hyper 212 evo RAM : 8GB PSU : Corsair cs650M SSD : Samsung 850 evo 120GB HDD : Seagate/WD 1tb GC : NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 (msi/asus) MOBO : Asus Z97-PRO(wifi) or MSI Mpower or MSI Gaming7 (anything else, open for suggestions) I wondered if choosing same brand for graphic card and mobo will have any extra advantage. Please suggest me with what brand to go or if same brand has no extra advantage then what combination should I go for (mobo/graphic card) for best performance and ease. Thank you
  5. I'm a Producer and I want to build a workstation. I wanted it to be very powerful and support 2 4k monitors in the future and be good for gaming as well. I don't know a lot about building computers so I thought this would be the right place to ask for help. These are the specs. I'm not too bothered about over clocking. Specs: Intel Core i7 i7-4790K Asus Z97-PRO Motherboard Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (4x 8GB) 1600Mhz DDR3 Ram WD 2 TB Hard Drive - Black Samsung 500 GB 850 EVO Solid State Drive Cooler Master SILENCIO 652S Case Corsair RM750 750W Power Supply Corsair Hydro Series H100i 240mm Liquid Cooler EVGA Nvidia TITAN X Graphics Card Corsair CO-9050006-WW Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition 120mm Low Noise High Pressure Fan Dual Pack x2 Asus Thunderbolt 2 Ports PCI Card Please feel free to tell me to change anything! You guys know way more about this stuff then men Also is there a chance I could get OSX to run on this machine, on like a separate SSD? I use Logic X at school and it would be awesome to be able to edit projects at home!
  6. I have seen IMCustoms's "Project Ultima". It inspired me to do something DIY of my own. So a couple weeks ago.. while it was mining Ziftrcoin(It gets like 1 usd cent worth of ziftrcoin's after a few days of mining..) soda spilt on it. So I guessed it was done for... So like "anyone" would do, I put the power cord that had a few sticky spots on the end due to the soda, I plugged it into the PSU.. But it made a pop sound.. so I unplugged it before trying to power it on. So I don't know if its fried.. but for the heck of it, I tore it down, got mobo out(I tried taking the cpu out sideways.. and when I loosened the retention arm, it kinda slipped from it.. and I see bent pins.. but its exactly half the socket.. so Idk if its meant to be bent). After I did that, I got the cpu, heatsink, HDD, ect ect. accidentally broke one of the antenna cords to connect to its intel centrino wireless n card. Idk if it is fried.. so I decided after all things considered.. I would try my own project, and I have only built my own pc(worked on some before), you can see the specs in my signature. I'm going to do a small, smallll form factor case. I also smashed into this idea after seeing people liking a different small case, and after I rewatched his Gigabyte Brix I5G760 review . I haven't decided if I will sacrifice a bit of size for support for full size PCI, or just low profile. It will take a SFX form factor PSU, and it will take a mini itx motherboard. The PSU will go on the top, and the case length and width will barly be bigger then the motherboard itself. There is 2 things right now that poses a issue. I don't have a mini itx motherboard and I don't have a SFX form factor PSU. I have made models about 2 weeks ago, I don't think it will be blue, this is just very rough for the basic Idea. It may be dead from detail, but the PSU will be at top, it will square around the mobo, and maybe few other features. Also, it will be a lga 1155 board because that computer I tore down had a pentium g.. I need to look back(Oh wait.. someone changed it to pentium 4 in google docs.. it was some sandy bridge pentium.. I had it in the list of ziftrcoin stats....)It was sandybridge, 2nd gen. So taking the gamble that it will work. Well this is ganna be a kickoff.. except I also don't have a CPU cooler.... oh wait I do The stalk one I pulled. BTW, THe computer was a dell inspiron 660s. So here is the final specs. Update 6/23/2015 So the parts have been kind of stabilized a bit. The R5 230 got fried in the time, got lost, didn't work when tested. That 660s that got soda on it? I tested it tonight after months, it actually works. Just that the OS was corrupted bad on the driver(was like that before the incident , reinstalling windows anyways). I will use 8gb of ram, 4gb of AMD Entertainment series ram, and 4gb of ram that came with the computer, the AMD ram is currently in my gaming pc, it was pulled from the computer, but now I will put it back in once it comes time. The CPU works, and all the main components, except the antenna.. because I kind of cut one of the cords on accident shortly after the soda incident.. Ok, the 500gb blue works, I will just reinstall windows on it, but if its a storage issue, I will just use a laptop drive(I HAVE ALOT) for it, which would probs end up being a 250gb of 320gb WD Scorpio blue(I have 2x 320gb's from 2 twin laptops, and the 250gb from a different laptop). So that is stabilized. The motherboard form factor is a tiny bit custom, so rather then it being a complete square, it may be slightly even rectangular, but just a bit. Here is the reason, it is to save money on the motherboard. The motherboard from the PC works too, with the socket, and everything. I will use that, and it has a slot for a wifi card(the type found in laptops, not usb or pci-e). I will just use a antenna from a laptop, and strap it to the case. So Last of all I will just need to figure out the PSU. The psu from the 660s works, but it is really meant for just the 660s. It has the shortest motherboard power connector ever, most connections aren't long, and the psu is planned to be mount in the top for my plans. I may(if I can afford it, since I need to order something another item too.) get just some psu extensions to save plenty of money. It won't be a small box psu like I wanted, its a rectangular psu. But it will work. The thing that I need to order, besides the extensions, is the cpu cooler for my personal gaming pc. Small story, my HYPER T4 cooler came in, I had to break my cooler off, like a lot had too..(stupid intel cooler) So the T4 wouldn't go on, it is meant too, but it kept on slipping off, others on newegg reported this.. but I didn't think it was too bad, the starts weren't bad. After that, the only cooler I had was from the 660s... It was built mostly for that mobo, and the fan had a weird shape. I had to push the built in long screws barly through the mobo as hard as I could, and put a metal nub on it, that came with the t4... I had a fan that fit the dell cooler, so I put it on, but since it had a weird mount shape, I was only able to screw in 2(the dell cooler had the weird mounting parts, not the fan). I will put that back in the mobo I will be using for the pc, this is when I get a new stock cooler, or something hardly better, for my gaming pc. Specs: The Mini-One(case) 8gb of dell memory(4gb Dell stock ddr3 ram) And 4gb of Amd entertainment series 1600mhz ram.) Second gen pentium. A mini itx motherboard(Dell Inspiron 660s mobo) A SFX psu(Dell inspiron 660s psu with extensions.) A 500gb WD caviar blue. Win 8.1 64 bit(reinstall, came with win 8 when I got the 660s, and relicensing it should be easy, since its to essentially the same system I'm relicensing it too. Inspiron 660s default cooler. Well, this is Ghetto! I will post a very rough picture of the model for the basic idea, and the color most likely won't be blue .
  7. UPDATE:1 Thank You Guys For CHECKING THIS Forum! This is a gaming pc desk/case I am planning to invest in! I am serious about this desk, so I want to make it as affordable and reasonable , so that I can actually build it! I am planning to take my pc out of its current ATX Case and put it in this desk. I made two different variations of the desk's top. It will either be the lighter colored wood, or same wood through out the desk/case. Led's will also be installed in the PC compartment . 8. My current build can run most games, while on medium or low at around 40-50 fps (CS:GO stable 100 fps with high settings). Now Im looking to upgrade my current system so I can get atleast stable 60 fps on most AAA titles in medium-high conditions, and 120 stable in CS:GO. Power supply, case, cooling and storage aren't a problem. Here's my current build: CPU: Intel i7-860 @ 2,90 GHz boost (LGA1156) Motherboard: Asus P7P55D LE GPU: AMD Radeon HD 5770 RAM: 8gb DDR3 1333 So I have a big problem, which is to change the overly dated CPU, I would need to completely change the motherboard. I was thinking of getting a Z97-ProGamer, along with a Asus Turbo GTX 960 2gb and an i5-4690, however this is over my budget and I would have to save for quite a while to get it. Is the motherboard overkill? What do you suggest, with similar performance to these 3 components? Is it even worth upgrading at the moment with the rise of DDR4? Any suggestion is appreciated.
  9. So last night I had this dream where I was watching LTT and the new video came out and linus started off by saying "There are some users on our forums, FatPenguin, @Minibois, @GrimNeo, @Aytex" (there was more but I forgot). Then I was in my living room with linus and he was screaming " YOU MADE MORE THAN 6 POSTS IN A DAAAAYY". then I woke up. weird night.
  10. Hi guys, building a new gaming rig and heres what I think of building on a very tight budget. 11. Hey guys, This is my first big post since I really haven't had anything worthy of posting/saying, but I was pretty proud of this build and couldn't many Pandora builds online while planning it so I thought I'd share and see what everyone thinks. I need a smallish pc for college to fit on my desk in my dorm (incoming freshman), and I'm going to be editing 4k video so I needed something beefy inside but sleek and thin on the outside. I decided I'd go with the BitFenix Pandora (without the LED screen...without was on sale ;P) because in my opinion it's one of the sexiest cases out there. I didn't think it would be toooo hard to build in after watching reviews (hah) so I thought I'd give it a shot. HERE ARE THE SPECS INTERNALS Intel i7 5820k (oc'd @ 4.4Ghz) EVGA x99 mATX Motherboard 32 Gb Kingston HyperX Fury 2400 RAM EVGA Nvidia Titan X (Superclocked) w/ EK Acetal Full Cover Waterblock and Black Backplate Intel 730 Series 240GB SSD (Boot and Programs) Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD (Games and Editing Clips) 3 TB WD Black (Mass Storage and Extra Clips) EVGA SuperNova G2 850w PSU (Gold Certified) WATERCOOLING Raijintek Triton Waterblock/Res/Pump (Taken from the AIO) with Arcitc MX-4 3/8 ID x 1/2 OD PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Tubing (Clear) EK Acetal Waterblock and Black Backplate with Arctic MX-4 XSPC EX240 Radiator 4x Noctua NF-F12 Industrial Editions in Push/Pull 1x BitFenix Spectre White LED Fan (Top Exhaust) EK Black Compression Fittings (and standard Raijintek compression fittings for Triton) Peripherals / Extras Asus DVD/CD Write/Read Drive (External) ... My family has a ton of CD's so I need someway to get them onto Google Play Lexar Card Reader ROCCAT Ryos MK Pro (Cheery MX Blues) ROCCAT Kone Pure Optical ROCCAT Sense Mouse Mat Corsair Vengeance 2100 (without Tramp Stamp) Xbox 360 Wireless Dongle and Controller Genius 2.1 Speaker System (With 2 additional speakers, Idk where from but they are nice and punchy) Dell u3415w 3440x1440 Ultrawide IPS Curved Monitor 1 Long Strip BitFenix Alchemy Blue LED lights (Top of Window attached to Case) 1 Short Strip BitFenix Alchemy Blue LED lights (Underneath front SSD attached to Case) THE BUILD (pictures don't do it justice, it is much darker and deeper of a blue in person) So technically I did the main build a month ago before I bought the EK block and rad as I was waiting on some cash and was looking into the power of the Triton in a custom loop. To my shagrin, there was a lack of videos of the Triton being used with a GPU block, and only a few photos from some German posters. It makes sense because if you are going to do a custom loop, you might as well do a full custom loop with separate res and pump but space was definitely an issue for me (and I also wanted to try something new). After watching both Luke's video on the Pandora, as well as NCIX's and the Hardware Canucks videos, I assumed that all of the complaining about the side panels would be no issue, I have worked with bad panels in the past, and I thought with some good cable management and time, it would go off without a hitch....boy was I wrong. In the back of the case there is a very small groove cut out on the left side, in which you are to store all of your extra cables (as well as under the bay in the front where you mount your ssd. It took me many tries to figure out where the space was, as the cutout is only a few mm less that the rest of the back panel. any draping of cables across the back caused the side panel to not pop in properly, and even with the management I had to do (to fit 5 fans and splitters and pretty much everything else), the back panel will take a good amount of time to put back on if I ever have to take it off (why I couldn't take any pictures haha) After getting everything put together with the AIO, I noticed that the Triton's tubing as super kinky, and too long to not bend a bit, which prompted me to go at it on the custom loop. I took the AIO out to drain it, and then managed to find the specs of the tubing on the internet. The compression fittings on the triton are much smaller than the tubing, they work fine, but I was very uneasy filling the loop as I had to crank on them to make sure they wouldn't pop off (still fingers crossed they don't in the future). I added 2 more noctuas (that you can see inside the case) to the two I had pushing, and split the fan headers on the top of the motherboard, as the EVGA doesn't have enough in the right positions to fit my panel on the side. The EK block went on without a hitch, and the backplate looks soooooo good with the rest of the black components. The only issue I had hear was that the IO shroud/shield thing for the motherboard made it a very snug fit to but the graphics card in with a backplate. It doesn't bend once you get it in, and I wanted to keep the shroud because it looks great, but it may be too close for comfort for some, but really I guess this whole build is. I had a couple of issues with RMA's when getting my radiator and tubing (Do not ever buy from Performance PC's....they are absolutely terrible) the Black Ice 240mm rad I bout was slightly too wide, so the mounting holes didn't line up with the rails on the front of the case, so I went with the XSPC Rad because it has good performance and was the closest size wise to the original Triton one. I wanted to swap out the rad because the Triton one was aluminum throughout...to get some frustration out from Performance PC's I kinda smashed it (the Triton one)....which weirldy enough made it smell super bad (will look into it in the future). I also broke a 3tb wd black by snapping off the plastic piece that holds the data sata pins be very careful if you use this case and install a mechanical on top because there will be some strain on the connectors if you want a clean look. Overall I am extremely happy about how this build ended up in the end. I don't have temps yet as I am waiting for everything to settle in, but I'll post them after a day or two. I'd love to hear what you guys think of the build as it is my first watercooling project, any tips and suggestions are definitely welcome! Thanks! -T.K. (xyz25 / Xyzizzle)
  12. Hi guys I'm planning on building my own pc, I already build one for a friend of mine, wich was almost equal to mine. The one that I am planning is a bit more expensive, but i know how to build it. So first things first, can you guys give me some advise on my build? (this is the MAX budget i can spend so don't go over it) Here are my parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9sXy23 (Disclaimer: i couldnt find the PSU that i chosen so i picked an equal one in order of getting the list right. I picked this: http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/node/2583. It is a modular PSU with two 6+2 pins for my graphicscard, so it will be fine i think. just keep this in mind.) -Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (should i overklock it?) -MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard -Kingston Fury Red Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 Memory (to much? gaming and video editting+recording?) -MSI Radeon R9 280X 3GB TWIN FROZR Video Card -Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer 99.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler (where should i mount rad+fan?) -Corsair Air Series AF120 Red 52.2 CFM 120mm Fan X2 (they are the same as the fan already in the case, need more? less?) (where should i mount them? I was thinking to remove the one on the rad and replace it with 1 AF120 and putting the stock white fan somewhere else?) -Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case -Sharkoon WPM600 Bronze, 600 Watt PSU (http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/node/2583) -Sandisk Solid State Drive 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (is this a good choice? i just picked the cheapest one?) (i wanna install windows on it and LoL) -Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (just mass storage for files and movies) (is this the best price/$ 1TB choice?) And this monitor: LG 25UM65-P 60Hz 25.0" Monitor (its an Ultra Wide monitor of 25 inch) (is this good? is there a better one for this price? (i pay 199euros = 224.07USD)) I appreciate your help! Thanks a lot for helping me out! Sorry for my english, i did my verry best, i'm from belgium and speak Dutch Niels Moureau (16)
  13. Hi everybody! I'm going to build my first PC, and I would like it to run also with OSX. Since this is my first build, I would appreciate any critics and advices from you experts! 14. The Little Red Rendering Hood 6 Cores of Weird @Rumikarimu a banner would be sick yo. I filled out your form. *Disclaimer* The use of "The Creator," "He," or other similar terms, has nothing to do with God(s), they refer to me, the creator of this build. Just didn't want to offend anybody. Also my grammar is sub-par for a native English-Speaker. Enjoy. The Story: One day in the deep, dark forest of PCPartpicker, emerged a two builds named "4690k/770" and "4790k/750ti." They were placed there by the creator, nicon. He had the intention of creating a rendering machine for under $1050. Nicon loved to use the Adobe Suite everyday to create awesome content, for multiple reasons. He was torn between the two builds, because they both had their benefits. Alas, there was an evil being in the forest named "Lack of Money (LOM)" (aka. The Fox). LOM was causing Him to not be able to afford the builds. Nicon was mad. Suddenly, nicon came across more money, banishing LOM from the forest. The creator wondered what he could do with the extra money, and suddenly he knew. One word, "X99." Poof! Into the forest of PCPartpicker emerged a young build named the "Little Red Rendering Hood" The End. OK, enough with the crappy attempt to make a computer-themed fan-fic of the Little Red Riding Hood, a story which the last time I read it, I was still in 2nd grade. Anyways, I think you get the point. Here is the part list (THX to @AliveGhost13 for help) and a small rationale for each part: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor: Murders the 4790k in anything multithreaded (rendering). I'm not going for 3-4 way SLI, so 5930k is pointless for me. Noctua NH-U14s: It's like a mini D15. It's quiet and it kicks ass. In some cases (no pun intended), it beats the D15 performance-wise. ASRock Fatal1ty X99M Killer Micro ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard: Gets good reviews, mATX, $40 rebate yo. It's also called the Fatality Killer, so +50 points. A-Data XPG Z1 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2800 Memory: Cheapest 16gb kit that matched my build colors. Also looks badass, like a bloody (actual blood, not the British expression) pyramid. 2800mhz isn't exactly slow either. A-Data Premier Pro SP900 64GB 2.5" Solid State Drive: 64gb is all you need for OS (Win 10), and essential applications. Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive: Reliable, good. I once a one dropped on on the ground from shoulder level (~5.5 foot) and it still works like a charm. I also put most of my media on external drives, don't ask. Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card: I'm not gaming. Even if I was the 750ti is a strong performer. A 750ti is all I need to accelerate rendering/previews. Yes, a Quadro M6000 will render faster, but it will not scale with it's price difference. The 750ti reaches a sweet-spot in rendering performance/value. Blue PCB sukkks, might put some white/red acrylic over it as a pseudo-backplate. Thermaltake Core V21 MicroATX Mini Tower Case: Good, relatively large mATX case. Easy to work in, has room for the cooler, and a basement for the PSU+cables. Also great airflow/customizability. Raidmax 530W Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply: Gets good reviews, will work up to a 970 (if I upgrade) Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I 802.11a/b/g/n/ac PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth Adapter: I'm in a room with no wired connection. Fast, good, cheap and comes with bluetooth. (Future Upgrade) Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 140mm Fan (x3) + Noctua Red rubber-corner things: Good, quiet, matches build. (Future Upgrade) A white and red (maybe red diagonal stripes on white background) acrylic backplate for the 750ti: Blue PCBs suck. Total: ~$1135 w/rebates, promos Everything has been ordered from SuperBiiz, Newegg, and Amazon. Amazon Prime stuff will come on Friday (12th). Other stuff is expected from Monday-Wednesday (15th-17th) next week. Hope you guys like it, nicon Table of Contents: Update 1: Package Delivery 1 (Amazon and 1/2 Newegg) - 6/12/15 Update 2: Package Delivery 2 (1/2 Newegg) - 6/13/15 Package Delivery 3 (Superbiiz) - ? 16. Hi there Is there a site that i can use to build a rig that i wanna make in reality plus it will show how good rig i builded from the parts a choosed? and ofc with share option ;p
  17. Hello guys, Thanks for coming over. I'm planning to build a desktop for about €1000-€1100 This is the list I had about in mind: Cpu: Amd Fx-9370 Gpu: Msi GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G Mobo: Msi 970 Gaming Ram: G.Skill TridentX Psu: Corsair CX750M Ssd: Kingston SsdNow V300 120GB Hdd: Seagate Desktop St2000DM001, 2TB Cpu-Cooler: Cooler Master GeminII M4 Case: NZXT 450 Noctis I'm just slightly wondering tho either it's actuerly a good idea to go with a air cooled cpu if you'r running Amd, Since the Fx-9370 is kinda overpowered when overclocked and can reach up to 5GHz (Not that I'm planning to go that high tho.). I was thinking either it'd better if i'd just pick up a basic AiO cooler. Also, with the noctis I'm planning to make it like the main piece of my room so Thats why I've chosen for the GeminII 4M because it's so nice and thin and won't block the viewing capability in the case. However!: If I'd go for the GeminII 4M, Would I defenetely need low profile Ram with the 970 Gaming? If not I think I could save some out there. If you have any ideas on how to improve this system, for the same amount of money or answers to my questions. Please, reply
  18. Hi! So i have recently just gone from a pre-built HP Pro desktop to a custom built intel computer and though i would show a few pics of it off. My old HP pro had a quad core AMD chip (One of the laptop ones but built into a desktop, with 4gb ram, 500gb HDD, windows 8.1) was so horrible to game on! :'( I recently saved up, and finally got around to building a much bigger, and better one! and i couldn't be happier. Although, I am still in need of an SSD, and another 8GB ram. But that will come in due time i hope! Here are the current specs of my PC. Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.5GHz ASRock Z97 Anniversary Socket 1150 7.1 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard Gigabyte GTX 970 OC WINDFORCE 3X 4GB GDDR5 8GB DDR3 RAM 500GB WD HDD Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer C Universal Water Cooling System EVGA Supernova 750W Fully Modular 80+ Gold Power Supply Phanteks Enthoo Pro Black Full Tower Case with Side Window Fitting with SMD 50/50 RGB L.E.D lights(multi function etc) Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse. Also, Linus, I love your videos, keep up the amazing work!
  19. Hey guys, I am really new to this forum so yeah. I animate and do YouTube. 22. Hey! So I need some advice on my newly built pc. It is complete but I want to add on to it around xmas aka black friday and cyber monday. Current build: Motherboard: ASUS Z97-E LGA 1150 Intel Z97 CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K Devil’s Canyon Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150 GPU: EVGA GTX 980ti RAM: 2x corsair vengeance 8gb DDR3 (16gb total) PSU: EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 850 W CPU Cooler: Corsair hydro series H110i GT Storage: SSD: Samsung 850 EVO (250 GB) HDD: Western Digital Blue (1TB) Case: Phantek Luxe I want to add a 2nd EVGA GTX 980ti. So I have a few question. I will be adding a asus rog swift or an acer predator XB270HU monitor for the g-sync. I plan on playing it on 1440 and run most if not all games on ultra setting for next few years. With adding 2nd gtx 980ti, should i get the evga sli brigde v2 or will the one with the motherboard be good enough? Should I change to a better motherboard because I know mine isn't the best (specifically no wifi and no where near top of the line)? Finally with the addition of the 2nd GPU and potentially a new motherboard should I get a different PSU that has more watts than the 850w I currently have? Please help, I'm still new at building my own pc as this is the first pc I've built.

  25. Ok, so I will be building another PC which is hopefully going to be a beast for Gaming, was wondering if I can get some other peoples opinions on the specification and how well it will run high end pc games and maybe at the QHD resolution. Click HERE to view the parts. Thanks for the views and maybe it will change my mind about different parts.
