Mouse, different DPI per axis, high very high, low, great. Razer Death Adder V2 and it is OK, well for me BUT.................................... I want to have "Y" axis frozen, Zero DPI I have done this with auto hotkey, x-mouse and it was OK BUT............................................... Windows respects my efforts and the "Y" axis is fixed and immovable until I need it back. The game, Second Life, just ignores my efforts. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr SO, I need a mouse that sends the correct data, "X" axis at whatever setting I set and the "Y" the same with the option to make it "0" Zero "cero" . OK; I have a bodge that works, Rollerball mouse and gaffer tape, and dust, and dirt and just so many memories of life before optical mice *sighs* SO, is there a gaming mouse, or a non gaming mouse that is game ??? Oh, I am trying to build my own right now but what my mind imagines and what my hands make are often quite different. If it works I will update, as to what it looks like, well, we will see!

Currently having a 24 inch 1080p monitor but I'm getting a 24 inch 1440p monitor soon (don't blame me, i can't fit larger ones on my desk). And I'm wondering if I have to adjust my mouse settings for that new monitor so that my cursor moves at the same speed as on the old monitor. Theoretically not, right? Pretty basic question I know but I'm not entirely sure so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Problem: I have a work mouse with a button for set DPI values: 1000, 1600 & 2400 dpi. There's no software to install like Logitech would have to adjust these values. Question: How would I change the mouse to 800 dpi on Windows 10? P.S: Windows additional mouse settings has a slider but this does not show specific DPI values.

Hello, recently bough a new mouse and I want to understand what DPI should I choose for CSGO? On google it shows that "pro" DPI is 400, but I also read that this is only because older gaming mouses supported only up to 400 DPI and that what they got used to. So is there a DPI sweet spot for best efficiency or is it just preference?

Recently I've been having this strange graphical glitch (for a lack of a better term) with some applications where they won't display properly. I'm not even sure how to describe the issue, but it's often on programs where you highlight a button or text and it glitches it out, displays black squares on top of it or text disappears as shown on the screenshots attached. Games and web browser seem to run no problems, watching videos etc. Is also fine. It ran fine before, and the only thing I can think of that I've changed was plugging in a 2nd monitor but even when having one plugged in the issue persists. I've tried alot of different things from completely disassembling and reassembling the PC, trying a different video card, different monitor, new DP cable, reinstalling literally every driver I can think of, clean windows install, tried both 10 and 11, firmware update on my monitor, swapping the RAM, ran windows memory diagnostic, SFC scan and nothing seems to do the trick - I've ran out of ideas and kindly ask for your help as to what could be the cause of this problem. System specs are Intel i5 1360KF Gainward RTX 3080 10gb 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB) ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 MOBO 512GB SOLIDIGM P41+ GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD Corsair H100x Hydro Series AIO CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES PSU Monitor I'm using is a 240hz IPS MSI MAG274QRX Thanks

Hello reader! (TL:DR at bottom) I'm in the following situation I've been using Logitech mice for a while, originally the G305 and since recently the G603. When using these mice I always set up my settings in a particular way using Logitech's software. These settings being, DPI of 8500 with a DPI shift button set to 1600 and a polling rate of 1000Hz I then save these settings to on board memory and go on my merry way using the mouse between several different devices and operating systems. For about a year this went without incident, be it Windows 10, 11 or XP and even Linux, always without any additional drivers. Everything was fine on my original G305 until eventually it started experiencing issues with the on-board memory, mainly periodically seemingly resetting it or failing to properly load my settings in one way or another. Fear not for warranty is here! I ordered another G305 off of Amazon (since I needed a secondary mouse anyway) and sent my original unit back under warranty. Guess what? Brand new Amazon G305 experiences the same issues. It was at this moment that I started tinkering with software like the Logitech On-board Memory Manager to find out if I could resolve these issues on my own. I even resorted to using the open source Piper program on my Linux computer, no dice. So back to Amazon I go with the G305, assuming it had failed due to a manufacturing defect etc etc. I traded it in for a G603 hoping to avoid these aforementioned issues. You guessed it, After a few days of use the G603 has started displaying the same issues as aforementioned. So here I am. Does ANYONE have any clue what may be causing these issues? Does Linux interfere with the on-board memory of my Logitech Mice? I assumed not since these issues already started occurring on Windows. Am I just having terrible luck with manufacturing defects? Are my settings particularly out of whack or is there some hidden piece of Logitech software I'm missing? Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance TL:DR On board memory on Logitech mouse seems not to function Symptoms: DPI resets to 1600 and DPI switch/shift button gets disabled entirely Attempted troubleshooting steps: Using both the new Logitech G suite and older Logitech G Framework software Using Logitech's own On-Board Memory Manager Using the open source "Piper" software Replacing the mouse, twice. Switching between Bluetooth and USB modes to try and see if it reloads the settings (G603 only) End goal: To be able to set up my mouse once with the software and then use it across several PCs without needing additional drivers or software to be installed. As on-board memory should be able to do.

I recently just switched to 1440p from 1080p. I was wondering if my mouse sensitivity and aiming will be affected. If it does, is there a way to find out how to raise my mouse sensitivity to match how it was for 1080p to now 1440p?

Question, so I know I am not crazy: If you have a mouse that can do 16,000DPI, but set to only 1,600DPI, it still physically calculates 16,000DPI then later divides it by 10 right? or in other words, setting your mouse to 1,600DPI then using it would be the exact same accuracy as if you set it to its max of 16,000DPI and changed your mouse sensitivity in Windows to 10%. I know there are other factors at play, but just from a DPI stand point this is all true, right?

I've been using dpi 2000 (eDpi 4800 in cs:go) for the past 5 years and lately I found out that all cs:go pros use either 400 or 800. So I've been thinking if I should stick to my old sensitivity which I'm used to or if I should change it. I'm decent at cs:go and I practise almost every day but I don't think I'm improving. Maybe If I lower my sens I'll be able to improve again?

I want to up my DPI on my G502 but when I open up the Logitech Gaming Software it says that G HUB is supported with my mouse and won't let me do anything but open G HUB. However, G HUB is super basic and doesn't seem to have any features other than labeling my current mouse settings. How can I get G HUB to work?

I want to ask the effect of 4k display on battery of a laptop as compared to 1080p display. How much difference in battery backup does 4k screen cause. Does running a 4k screen at 1080p resolution will draw same power to 1080p display at same brightness level .(WHY)

Happy Holidays everyone. So I got a model o for xmas and holy hell does it feel off. I play Siege on 800dpi h13 v13 with my rival 600 but that feels horribly fast with the model o. That 800dpi feels more like 1600. Is the mouse broken or does it feel weird because of the weight difference or...? Idk what to think atm. Im not sure if somethings wrong because the firmware update won’t finish either. I try to do it as instructed but it gets stuck on working no matter how long I wait. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

Hello, I'm currently planning to upgrade my ultrawide resolution 2560x1080 34 inch to a 3440x1440 100hz 34 (or 35 I forgot) inches. Currently my DPI is 800 and I've been using it for years. If I upgrade my resolution, how would I adjust my DPI to the new resolution? Is there a proper way?

So i recently bought the forest to play with one of my mates. and i prefer a slow sensitvity. i run about 500 dpi. my mousepad area to turn is about 50cm long and going from one side to the other will make my cherecter turn 3/4ths of a turn. but in the forest, my sensitivity is all the way down to 0% and i still do about 3 turns in that same space. ive gone through all of the config files and cant find a single mention of Dpi or muose sensitivity anywhere, does anyone know how to fix this? the reason why i checked the config files is because i had the same issue with skyrim and i fixed it by changing the config file.

Hi, I'd like to use my Raspberry Pi camera module with a display hat. The camera uses the CSI connector/interface, the display uses the DPI connector/interface. The product page for the display says that "it uses just about every pin on the Pi", and I'm wondering if this would affect compatibility with the camera module. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks (P.S. I wasn't exactly sure where this post would fit, but I thought the subject still fit within the forum's content range. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.)

Why guys at LTT use wired mouse at least for editing and not for gaming despite highly advanced and expensive setups, as also there are high dpi wireless mice available in the market ?

As said in the title, I edited the LogPixels value in the registry, to make windows scale smaller (from 96 dpi to 76), but to apply these changes i need a reboot, or a at least a logout and a login, but by doing that the value jumps immediately back up to 96. What could be causing it? Also, I tried custom resolutions, but I have a laptop that has the display of the laptop itself connected to the the hd graphics (5500, i3 5005u), so I cannot set custom resolutions in the nVidia control panel, and Intel hd graphics control panel won't let me do it, slapping me with a "custom resolution exceeds maximum bandwidth", even when the resolution is smaller that the native 1366*768 (yes I checked and tried every single frequency setting from 15 to 60 hz). Any Ideas on how can i make windows scale smaller without connecting an external 6 billion K 240hz million dollar display? The laptop is an Acer Aspire E5 573G with a GeForce 920m, 4GB ram and an i3 5005u.

Hello guys, I have to do a 80x167 (centimeters) image that will be printed and apllied on a shop window. The thing is, I inserted the centimeters in Photoshop and it automatically converted to pixels (4734 x 2268). What I would like you guys to help me with is: 1) Is this resolution enough so it won't look pixelated? 2) I tried to figure it out as DPI how much is it, and I think it's 72 DPI, is this ok for a picture that size to be printed in this resolution? Thanks alot guys, I don't have experience with this, I have to send the project to a company so they will print it. Thanks again.

Good evening friends, wondering if there's a way to disable DPI scaling on my laptop for Spotify. I want to keep my windows scaling at 150% but I would like to make Spotify's DPI at 100% so that I can fit more things on the screen. Spotify also looks very blurry. Can someone please let me know how to achieve this?

Hey there fellas, so I´m upgrading from a GX Gila to a Logitech G903 and want to use the exact same sensitivity. So I know that DPI is fairly universal but in the firmware for my Gila there is stuff like "Mouse Speed" and "Sensitivity" so I´m wondering if the Logitech firmware is the same and if not how could I compare them. Thanks for the replies in advance. btw, does linus age?

Hi, I was wondering which one is better: High DPI + Low sensitivity or Low DPI + High sensitivity Preferably in Overwatch although other games are fine. Thank you!
