Hey, I have a Define R4 and I wanna take the bottom drive cage and replace it with the bottom drive cage from a Define XL R2. Is it possible to do something like? And if so is there anywhere I may be able to buy a drive cage for a Define XL R2. Thanks.

Hello there! I have been planning a white & black themed build for a while and I would appreciate some input on the parts. Is there anything you would change? Parts: http://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/3481905/2013-06-17 I'm not quite sure if the white sleeving will fit the build. I'm going for a somewhat minimalistic and simple build but packed with power. Basically not a disco build. I'm not happy with the H80i either, I think it's way to bulky but I heard that there is issues with fitting the H100i inside the R4, and I don't want to mount it in the front either. What will the build be used for? For people interessted, it will be my main workstation and gaming rig. Basically my "everything" PC. And for once I want to build a rig that I can look at and say, "yeah, I built that and I'm proud of it". Budget? I would like it to stay around the same amount as it is in the link above. Oh and while you are at it, the pricing in EU is amazing isn't it? :) So, is there anything that you would change? Any part that would go better with the overall theme of the build? Any better computer case around that has that same minimalistic and simple look of the R4 that you would recommend? The thing I'm most unsure about is the sleeving. Do you guys think the black sleeved cables will fit better?

I have a windowed white Define R4 configured like this (image for reference, the rig is not mine): Inside are i5-4670K (currently at stock, will OC again), Asus Z87 Pro mobo, same Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler, an Asus Expedition 1060 6GB GPU and 2 SSDs + 1 HDD in the bottom drive cage (the main cage is removed for airflow). Fan config: 2x Fractal Design Silent R2 140mm as front intake, 2x Silent R2 120mm as exaust - 1 in the back, 1 in the top back slot. While this setup isn't bad per se, I wish to improve the cooling in the case, mainly the GPU cooling (which isn't the strong point of R4). Being a fairly restrictive case because of the door which can't be taken off (I'd appreciate advice on how to do it) and dust fan system R4 has in front, it won't be easy... Anyway, my question is kinda two-fold: 1. Will I gain much by adding a 5th fan as the bottom intake, next to PSU, to blow at the GPU? It wll improve GPU cooling but it will also create more positive pressure (and the exaust fans are already smaller that intakes), and I don't know how it will interfere with intake current... Will I get anything by removing the PCI covers in the back, to improve exaust (assuming positive pressure)? 2. Let's say I replace all the fans (and use 140mm as exausts this time). Which fans do I use and where to place them? Because of restricted intake, I imagine i need fans with high static pressure in front. I can put whichever in the back, though it would be nice having a really high air flow fan in the back. Silence is not a big issue, since R4 is a silent case and I'm on headphones 95% of the time, then again I wouldn't really want monsters like CM JetFlo or Noctua Industrial IPPCs on high RPM roaring around...so, performance intakes that aren't too noisy. I need to add that the availability where I live (Serbia) is extremely bad and I'd have to order them from abroad, so I'd like to avoid high priced or exotic fans, if possible...

Specs: Core i7 4770K Asus Z87 Expert Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 2x 8GB 1600MHz GTX 780 2x Crucial M500 480GB (Raid 0 with Z87) Samsung Blu Ray player/DVD burner Fractal Design Define R4 Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 10 550W Thermalright Venomous X Black Edition 2x Noctua NF-F12 3x Noctua NF-A14 Asus Xonar Essence STX Edit: now with better pictures! I really love the clean look of the R4 without any of the drive cages. And since everyone seems to include their keyboards into the builds, here's my CM Storm Quickfire Rapid. I did not only swap the keycaps, but also replaced the stock MX Reds with MX Blues and 55g springs as well as some stickers. Hope you enjoyed my build;) Please tell me what you think of it!

Just wondering which side the majority puts their cases at. I have a define R4 and its pretty annoying how the door opens to the left and I put it on the right.
