Does anyone know a good custom cable site that I can go with?

Hello there! I'm pretty new in the PC Building scene, so I come forth seeking the help of the more experienced ones The PC I wanna build has an aim on value, while not necessarily meaning low budget, I'm willing to spend a bit more for better performance and the less prone to being obsolete in the next few years. Here are the parts I've picked so far: PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3vx8kL Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3vx8kL/by_merchant/ CPU: AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz 8-Core Processor ($229.99 @ Amazon) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($26.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($94.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($66.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($71.95 @ SuperBiiz) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB ACX Video Card Case: Thermaltake VL800P1W2N (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case ($47.99 @ SuperBiiz) Power Supply: Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($99.99 @ Amazon) So I wanna know from you guys what can/should be upgraded or even downgraded if there's a option with better value for money and performance. Some notes I'd like to add are: The CPU can also be a FX-8350, since it seems to have better reviews and a lower heat output, as I've seen reviews saying the 9590 requires liquid cooling for optimal performance. I'm also very flexible in regards to the GPU, but I'd prefer to stay in the GTX 700 series.

I need a 1450 dollar gaming pc however I am in Australia so I have to buy the parts from here. Some suggestions are Msy and mwave.

About to give up on liquid cooling, patience wearing thin... I put together my first custom loop, very simple... currently just trying to cool the cpu. While testing the loop I am getting unreasonably high temperatures and can't seem to figure out why, I've re-seated the cpu block multiple times, tried changing pump speed, made sure there were no air bubbles as best as I can. Specs that apply: i7 4790k @ Stock ASUS z97-WS Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 2400 CL11 (2x4GB) EVGA Supernova 1200 P2 Any suggestions, comments, and tips will be greatly appreciated. This is under load from Prime95 26.6 Blended test. Current picture of the build:

What's the best PC I can build for around $1000? I intend to do light to medium content creation and medium to high gaming. I would really appreciate it if it would be nearly silent and make no annoying sounds.
-
First time on a build, all I really want is to run games on either high or medium smoothly, as well as edit, render and record audio/gameplay for Youtube. My budget is 500, I have the mouse, keyboard, and the monitor so the only thing I need is the actual build. What should I look for? Any good setups or ideas on what I should look into getting?

Hey LTT Community!! my first post... So ive always wanted a custom keyboard, however im on a tight budget and stuck with my 2012 Razer Black Widow Ultimate... I'm 110% over the disgusting glossy finish, and the noisy blue switches, ive currently got led colour changes (little plastic caps that clip over the leds) and they're dull and boring. SO, let the fun begin... Ive ordered the following: 88 (one spare) Cherry MX Brown key switches (mechkb.com) 100 (was cheaper) Super Bright White 3mm LED's (ledsales.com.au) 1.5x1.2m Black Carbon Vinyl Wrap (ebay.com.au) and a solder pump as i didn't have one! I'll also be getting some new keycaps eventually, i love the look of keycools gradient caps but im not 100% on the white, thinking they'll just get filthy and stained <_< will post some pics when the goodies start arriving and the modding begins!

I am looking to build my first PC and I will be using it mainly to play games, and every once in a while, editing videos. I will be keeping the tower under my desk, but I don't have a monitor since this is my first build. Please check out my build and help me choose a monitor that will be right for my build. Also just as a disclaimer I do plan to upgrade to a second MSI 980 graphics card in the furture, if that impacts the choice of monitor. I will be playing games such as Battlefield 4, Counterstrike, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and many more. Any feedback on my build are appreciated! Thanks in advance for any help!

So recently I made my first custom PC (yay!) I'm new to this but I've realized it's better to go custom then buy it straight from Dell or HP. This is my current build: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard Seagate Barracuda 1TB Hard Disk AMD Radeon Sapphire R7 250x 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card 500w Power Supply (need to see which brand) AMD FX-6000 series CPU (need to confirm model) An old cheap case I found lying around my house. As you can see my budget sucks, it's pretty low and the prices in India are really high, and the unavailability of most parts sucks too. Basically I'm open to any suggestions and comments Thanks. Also I want to make it future proof and need to update a part, recommend which one please. UPDATE: Kingston 8GB RAM

How about having outside unit to use whole room water cooling? How about using different liquids in combination with computer-controlled flow? How about inventing standard plugs for portability for external better cooling of a device? (Laptops, Desktops) I'd like to see Linus trying outside unit connected to whole room liquid cooling.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'll just try I have played a bit with the Windows Metadata Editor and wanted to change the (ugly) default icons to something that resembles the real device. Now tell me what you think about my accomplishments I won't change the Monitor icon because I'm changing it soon and I was too lazy to change the xbox 360 icons form that grey to black. let's make windows a bit more beautiful ps: yes I know that the picture I used for my Kraken X60 is a X61 edit: http://www.sevenforu...stom-icons.htmland http://www.sevenforu...make-image.html where the tutorials I used. a few steps are written a bit weird so if you have questions I'll help (shameless copy paste from my first answer)

Hi guys, I'm having some issues with my GTX 970's performance, and no it's not due to the whole VRAM issue, as my memory needs almost never go over 3500MB. The issue I have is that I am getting FPS performance well below what it should be. I built my PC in the middle of November last year (2014) and I used it to play games such as: BF4, Tomb Raider, AC Black Flag, Far Cry 4 and smaller titles like Kerbal Space Program, with no performance issues whatsoever. I could run all of those games on ultra settings with FPS performance in the correct range in which it should be - e.g. BF4 would run at 80+ FPS on ultra. However, during December, BF4 suffered a FPS drop to around 30-40 FPS on ultra, making it unplayable (it's really hard to go from 80+ FPS to something as low as 40. I had to turn the graphics settings down to low for it to be played! The strange thing is that none of the other games had performance drops so I wrote it off as one of the countless BF4 issues. Around the end of January, I updated my NVIDIA drivers to the latest ones and used GeForce Experience to apply optimal settings to BF4, which seemed to temporarily fix the FPS issue. However, it is back now. I played some BF Hardline beta and my FPS was first around 65 on ultra, which is below what I've seen on youtube where people have gotten around 85+ FPS on ultra. Now my BF Hardline beta has gone down to 40 FPS rendering it unplayable on ultra settings. I decided to run Heaven 4.0 on 1920x1080 on extreme, full-screen and extreme tessellation, and this gave me a competitive average FPS of 62. However, later the same day I ran Heaven 4.0 on just the extreme preset, which gave me an average FPS of 50??? I'm a little worried here as to what the issue is. In game my GPU temps never go above 70 and the same can be said for my CPU. So in a previous post I announced I hated my H100i, that still hasn't quite died yet completely btw, and was looking into building a custom loop because my H100i has started to half ass its job. The Problem I need help with is water cooling the NZXT H440. Every water cooling loop I have looked at to get ideas all completely removed the hard drive cage to make room for a reservoir, but i use Three drivesin that rack and dont want to remove it. i though about moving all my hard drives to the bottom mounts in the rack and completely removing the rest from the hard drive shelf mounts so theres room to mount it the the Shroud. I still dont know if that is enough room though. I would like to have a res that is at least 120ml so I can add GPUs to the loop in the future and be at least borderline safe. the loop ive kinda build up on performance PCs (~RIP frozen cpu) has a dual 120 rad, swifttech cpu block, 170ml rad pump combo, 3/8 x 1/2" compression fitting and tubing, and a ram cooler for kicks. I think i would still have room for another single 120 rad in the back for the added GPUs or even a single 240mm if those even exist. (Ill get some pictures so you guess can see what I'm talking about better) [New 1000Watt power supply on the way so dont worry about power]

To clarify, this is a ROM that will be released alongside CM12s. They will both be available with CM12s arriving as an ota update(I assume) to current CM11s users. This ROM will serve as an alternative for people who do not like the cyanogenmod experience or because CM12s is not available in the region(ie India) So Oneplus have released more details about their upcoming rom. Looks like they managed to gather together an impressive (albeit very young) team. Including two of the co-founders at Paranoid android as well as their design lead. Not to mention a former microsoft engineer and 50+ more developers. I have a good feeling about this one. Hey guys i wanna know if this build would work as a great gaming PC. 1- So first an MSI X99S Gaming 7 ( i chose this one since it has a Killer E2205 LAN ) but i wanted an MSI X99S Gaming 9 ACK but i cant find it in Egypt since i live in Egypt if i find it i will get it for sure or maybe a Gigabyte GA-X99-Gaming G1 WIFI for 4-way SLI. 2- Then an Intel Core I7-5960X overclocked to 4.7GHz ( i don't know if this is even possible ). 3- 64GB of DDR4 Ram G.Skill Ripjaws 4 series CL15 ( 8X8GB ) 2400MHz ( if i can find 3000MHz i will get it ). 4- Corsair H105 240mm CPU water Cooler ( can't find H100i ). 5- Zalman ZM-STG2 thermal compound or Noctua NT-H1 thermal compount ( if i find anyone of them ). 6- Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD for OS ( i cant find a Crucial M550 1 TB SSD ). 7- From 2 till 8 Seagate 2TB SSHD 7200RPM 64MB cache 8GB SSD inside. 8- 2X EVGA GeForce GTX 980 superclocked in 2-way SLI mode ( i want a Zotac GTX 980 superclocked but can't find it ) or maybe 3-way SLI or 4-way SLI. 9- Any PSU with a 1200W or more and 80+ gold or more with no matter for modularity of course modular would be great. 10- From 1 till 4 Asus DVD writer ( since i cant find Blu-Ray ). 11- Any good case with as much fans as possible and space for all of the other components. 12- From 1 till 3 good FHD 1080p screen. 13- I don't know if i would put a Wi-Fi card or not since i don't know any good ones like the Killer Wi-Fi ( and also i don't know if i would find a sound card better than the one in the motherboard or if there is any LAN card better than the Killer ). 14- Any good fans for cooling with high RPM. 15- Fan controller if i found one may be two or three if i need them. 16- Good keyboard, mouse, speakers and headphones for gaming. 17- Any other accessory that i would need to make a full PC like joysticks, webcam, all in one printers, mics, card readers, etc. i will even have a dedicated router, internet line and backup storage for this PC. 18- Microsoft windows 7 ultimate SP1 64-bit with some games, software, Photoshop and illustrator. 19- All SSHD will be on RAID 0 for performance levels and i will have a backup from all data stored on an external separate drive but i don't know do i need a RAID card or does the motherboard have one. 20- Also power protection in-case of power surge or failure and i will have all the necessary means taken to ensure power wont be disrupted or that it wont damage my PC so protection will be taken like serge protection and UPS and any other ways. If anyone would like to add on this list or if there is any part you think its better please feel free to add. Thanks all.

This has been an issue that has bothered me ever since i refunded my overheating ge70 msi Apache for my custom build. It goes without saying that my computer now is faster, cooler, and overall a more enjoyable experience than my laptop could have given, but seeing now that advancements in cooling, energy savings, display, and graphics on laptops, im feeling a bit of guilt about giving up so fast on laptops. So im just looking for some sway either way, laptop or custom, as the superior platform for someone who wants the most out of their games, but also lan's and partys a lot. Maybe a M-ITX build is a better idea, im not sure? Im also not one to sit in front of a 14" laptop either, i do prefer my 24" screen, but i hate the bulk of my build, even in the HAF-XB Evo.

Greetings everyone. Im building a new PC with a budget on 4500$ and i need some expertise. It needs to run 3 monitors at at least 1920x1080px. Im making custom web designs and im programming software and websites. It need to be a high end gaming pc. It need to be able to stream in the highest quality without any lag. It needs Water Cooling on the CPU. It needs the possibility to be upgraded in the future. And feel free to if you want to come up with some great case modding for it. Colorscheme is Black and Green to match my Razer equipment. And maybe ill make a price for the winning computer build/mod for my new PC. Dont really know yet need to figure out a prize and all the shipping things. but there might be one. Thanks so much for you time and expertise I do appreciate it.

Hey! I'm planning on buying a white Corsair 760T case and wanted to get some white sleeved psu cables to make the interier look nicer. My current PSU is a XFX Pro 1050W black edition. I've been looking around the web and have read that Seasonic make the power supplies for XFX and have found this cable kit which says it works on some Seasonic PSUs. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-051-CM My first question would be, would the cables work for my power supply? I've also been looking at these sleeved cables on icemodz.com which i absolutely love the look of! They look a lot brighter than the kit on overclockers (but that may just be because of the camera used) but what really appeals to me is the white connectors. http://www.icemodz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/SAM_3810_Edited.jpg Another question I have is should I just buy the cables I need or buy a kit? Since I don't know what type of cables would work in my PSU I havent been able to search for single cables. Would I need to buy a new PSU? Any tips and suggestions on what to buy would be very much appreciated!

Hi, I am just posting everything here just to check if there's any compatibility issue or any components that I've missed. I've been thinking about building a custom water cooling loop for over a week now, and finally, I've put up the components that I will use for my system. Please help me if there's any issues here or if there's any optimization needed, thanks. Build: Intel i7-5930K (EK-TIM Indigo Xtreme - Intel 2011-3) Asus Rampage V Extreme EVGA GTX 980 SuperClocked ACX 2.0 SLI (Arctic Silver 5) Corsair 900D (9x LEPA LP-BOL12P-R 120mm fan --intake, 4x fans ---exhaust for rad, 1x BitFenix BFF-SPRO-P14025KK-RP 140mm fan --rear exhaust) [All of these are PWM, but I have no idea how to configure them, and it also seems that the mobo lacks 4-pin fan headers for all these fans, so... how?] Water Cooling Build: CPU+MOBO MONOBLOCK: EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock - Nickel .....(1pc) GPU FULLCOVER BLOCK: EK-FC980 GTX - Nickel ................................(2pcs) TUBINGS: TUBE PrimoChill PrimoFlex™ Advanced LRT™ 12,7 / 9,5mm - Crystal Clear (PFLEXA-12) .........(1pc) RADIATOR: EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (480) .................(1pc) PUMP: EK-XTOP D5 PWM - Plexi (incl. pump) ......(1pc) RESERVOIR: EK-RES X3 250 ...............................................(1pc) TERMINAL (SLI): EK-FC Terminal TRIPLE Parallel - Plexi & EK-FC Terminal BLANK Parallel .................(1pc. each) COOLANT: EK-Ekoolant EVO Blood RED (premix 1L) (3pcs) FITTINGS: EK-ACF Fitting 10/13mm - Black .................(12pcs) Add. Info: I will be putting the rad at the top of the case in a push-configuration with 4x LEPA LP-BOL12P-R 120mm Fan. The terminals will be used to link the two SLI graphics cards (will be overclocked, not sure what's the optimized OC config yet) to the water cooling system. The cards will use the 1st and 3rd port in the motherboard. The Asus R5E monoblock will be used for overclocking (not sure what's the optimized OC config. yet for this build). Not sure about the fittings yet. The premixed coolant is reasonable, and won't be using plain distilled water. The pump and res will go like this: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And finally, where can I buy these, and how much (total)? Simply converting € to $ is not accurate enough. Also, thanks ..an installation guide would be helpful too, but I think I'm asking for too much...
