Budget (including currency) : 2000-2800 € Country: Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Triple a end indie games, Vtube studio, Office Suite, and Adobe Indesign (maybe) Other details I'm going to use this build for gaming, to get into streaming (vtubing) and light productivity work. Sorry for the language but I thought this was the best way to show you. I'll be using this built with two 144hz monitors I bought previously. This will be a clean slate for me because what I have now is a Frankenstein setup with a MacBook Pro. I'm ordering it it from alternate because I think that's the most well-known option in the Netherlands and I can't build myself. I thought about ordering the parts and paying someone else from a shop near me to assemble but I like having the warranty they offer with systems that they assemble. Plus they're configurator tests compatibility automatically. Is there anything that seems terribly unbalanced or out of wack? This is also my attempt to create a little bit of a Performance headroom and I tried to future proof it for like 3 to 4 year's. Might replace something like peripherals quicker than that. In addition I'll be getting a Logitech C920s - HD Pro Webcam and Silvergear Bluetooth Touchpad from bol.com. Anything streaming specific like a mic I'll get a bit later. But recommendations for that are also appreciated. Regarding case fans I didn't really know how many of them to get. The case description told me that there's room for 8 additional 120 mm fans or 5 140 mm fans. Should I just max that out? I'm going to call them about this tomorrow. I'll be ordering it somewhere this or next week.

I heard that the contest is officially not happening, so I just wanted to show what I made for it ROG and LTT Like many obsessed others, as soon as I didn't win ROG Rig reboot 2021, I started planning my 2022 entry. Luckily I was 1 of 4 named honorable mention, which gave me even more drive to enter. The programs that I need and want to learn are pretty strenuous for my computer but I wanted to make art so bad, so I went for it anyway. So I am a metal worker but aspiring metal artist and half way through this year I learned how to use a plasma table, from programing to finished product. The first things that came to my mind to make, was stuff for my entry video. 20221205_155016.mp4 I made an ballin' LTT spinner painted silver and gold with fake diamonds glued to it and the chain is a 4mm thick chrome chain. Also I made another orange logo necklace and 4mm thick polished stainless LTT logo I made a ROG Rig Reboot light box that has the logos of the sponsoring brands. Made out of 24g galvanized metal, 22g perforated metal and some paint. Some other things I made for the video was a command and conquer sign, golden n64 logo, "trust me bro warranty" sign, custom minecraft diamond swords. And a "Starcraft, star wars, starfield" sign. Why did I make these? for fun, to try and set me apart from other people and well I like all that stuff, so now I have it. Then I went from flat signs to 3d sculptures. Now, I didn't make these "for" the video but I wanted them done for the video so I can show why I want a new pc and what ive learned. My life sized metal Austrian sheep dog, GOT Wolf head mount. And my sliced art which is bulbasaur and a storm trooper head. Also a picture of my little set up I was working on Sure some of it is a bit scuffed, but im learning. Everything was built on my break or by going in early. I loved the rig reboot and I used it as a reason to push myself to be better in art and video. Machines are expensive, computers are expensive, so is life. (I'm having troubles uploading the pictures in one post, so you'll see them below)

Hello, I wanted to know if someone knows if there is custom firmware available for this router or if it could be able to port it since AFAIK, Tenda routers are just re-brands of other routers. I believe this router uses Realtek chip-set and i read that OpenWRT does not have support for Realtek chip-set, but I'm not sure. Couldn't fine more info about the arch or chip-set of this router. Any help is appreciated Product page: https://www.tendacn.com/product/AC21.html

Country: US Wanted to hear thoughts on this setup (disreguarding the reservoir). The pump is only from a 240 AIO but draws power from a sata power cable. It circulates through a 120, 240, and 360 radiator as well as the 2080 super waterforce gpu. It seems to push fluid fine but my main concern is the pumps longevity. Its been way cheaper to build with nonfunctioning aios (I have considered removing the guts of an aio to use as a heatsink and have an external pump). Hi, I am in need of a new keyboard and have been delving into custom keyboards. I have come to love the idea 98% southpaw with the arrow keys. By stroke of luck I see that "Joshajohnson" has already built one and made it available on Github: https://github.com/joshajohnson/entropy. However it is not using iso layout, which I personally find to be essential if I am going to spend a substantial time and money this project (I realy like chonky enter). So with the files available I have edited them such that they are using iso layout, but I seem to be doing something wrong. I have error on my result, and I also have errors before I start editing the file. I have never touched KiCad before so I don't know what I am doing. How can I get help with this project? Is there discord servers for custom keyboards or people who are enthusiastic about PCB design? TLDR: I want to build custom southpaw 96% with iso layout. I have a non iso Project on Github I can use as reference, but KiCad is to advanced for me. How do I go about this?

I've built my first PC (I'm calling Bunker) a month ago. I'm wanting to use my 14tb Exo drive into a sort of media storage that I can access from anywhere and only that drive even if I need to set aside a few cores and a little bit of RAM. Edit: I'm wanting use this as a place I can upload to even in another state.

Budget (including currency): $5000+ USD Country: Michigan, United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: The PCs will be running in a children's hospital in a playroom focused on video games, technology, and steam learning. The playroom itself has a strong football theming and I would like to keep to that theme if possible. I could obviously keep things simple and use a store bought case and paint it to match but I have the time, budget, and interest to go over the top. It will need to be able to run all the current multiplayer titles (ie. Fortnite, Warzone, Minecraft, Apex, Ect) at a moderately good level. So whatever case I go with will need to be able to be effectively cool the system. As an added need, it needs to be resistant to cleaning products as the PC will be wiped with strong cleaning agents multiple times per day. At this point I am looking for perhaps a domed shaped case that can be painted to look like a helmet or if that isn't available I would like to look into commissioning something custom built. I have absolutely no experience in working with custom cases only my personal Corsair case that I unboxed myself. Does anyone have any advice on where to even begin looking? Other details

Ok so I have recently decided to ditch intel and only for the simple reason I had a horrible experience messing with ASUS' X99 2011-v3 X99 Pro series motherboard over the last 6 years. I upgraded at launch of the X99 for ridiculous prices. What was THE only ram for 800$+ at 64GB 3200Mhz for GSkill Ripjaws at the time.. the entire build cost me way too much and they ditched the 2011-v3 series a few months after I bought into it. "My mistake for a flagship socket.." but hey, Im a dreamer! I've decided to upgrade to a more modest build this time around.. after hearing many good things about the MSI Tomahawk line.. I went with the MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk. I repair computers and had an AMD Ryzen 7 1700X sitting here and decided to use that until I can upgrade the CPU "Which will follow." I also went with 2x16GB DDR4 Patriot Vipor 3600mhz ram. Ill throw more in later when I want to geek out for my soul I guess. No other reason. I bought an MSI Gaming AMD MECH RX 6600 X2 8GB GPU which I am upgrading from a Zotac 1660 GPU "Yes a regular 1660" Right now my question and topic of discussion is aimed at budget.. what will be the best bang for the buck and most reasonable solution to my problem. The current build as is is not performing. I assume it is because of the much older 1700X AMD cpu I have installed currently. So to mitigate the bottleneck.. I have come to my final decision on upgrading the CPU. I would love the AMD 3950X.. but I would also love the Ryzen 5000 series. So my 3 choices have come to the Ryzen 9 5900X or the Ryzen 7 5800X and because of budget I am considering HIGHLY as in top priority atm to buy the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G because I found it for 249.99$ and that falls well into my budget where the other two are 50 to 100$ over. My question for the 5700 vs the 5800 and 5900 CPUs is will my 6600 perform better with the higher processing power of the 5900/5800 or will the 5700g work with the 6600 to give me an overall better experience..? or will it not work together with the GPU to even make a difference. Ive done a single build wayyyy in the past for an AMD apu "Excuse me if that is wrong.." but where the cpu works with the gpu but that was when it was first becoming a thing around 2013 or 2014. I love discussion and am open to all criticism or advice. I do have a severe TBI so I apologize if I get confused or ask alot of questions.

Hey guys, I just saw the upgrade video from Linus with his retro console and got a little bit inspired. So I tought I could upgrade my PsP 3004. The problem is I can´t really find some parts or even a website with kind of that stuff. What I´m looking for is: - A Mini-USB replacement to mayby USB-C? - An OLED-Screen? or just a better alternative to then normal screen - A better Wifi Card or just a workaround to connect it to the internet again (cause WPA2+3 is not working and I don´t want to change the encryption of my WIFI) - A power conector replacement for USB-C (Thats the easy part I guess) - And, if possible, a case without the UMD-Drive (I don´t use it) in exchange for mayby something else(for example a larger battery slot) I hope someone here has done this before and got a little advise for my where to start or just the advice to stop right away Thanks

So I have a bunch of monitors, literally at this point, it would be nice to have a wireless device to shove my mouse around screens then I figured, vr headset. A “world” basically would it be possible to host multiple monitors on a vr display? just seems like a simple stupid idea, i can’t be the only one to consider it Thanks peeps!

Hello all! pretty straightforward question, hopefully easy~~ So way way back in the day I built a full-size e-atx WC beast on my moms dime (I was like 16). Say the least 2x Intel xeons (MP models of course). Now I do remember specifically with that case, there were 3 outlets for WC’ing lines complete with the, uhm, rubber things. You know, like your routing wires thru ur case… oh grommets? Yeah like 1/2 inch holes in the back of the case with rubber grommets. recently I built my daughter a pc, now she has a thermaltake View 71. In that, I also noticed it has the same thing in back. now I have my own build, in a (don’t laugh) Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL / white. Only reason I got it is bc, well it’s white, and I saw some pics of people that had uh… seperate loops? Forgive me I forget the term. Basically they had 2 loops feeding a distro plate for said case and it looked really sweet. The top loop was one color and the bottom another. In the distro plate you could see “both worlds” utilizing the plate. ANYWAYS back to it. I was surprised to see my case does not have WC outlets. Sure ok it is a “full” tower / ATX, live and learn I guess. is there anyplace I can order a pci bracket for g1/4 fittings? Or perhaps one that would work with these huge quick disconnects I have? These QD’s are NOT g 1/4 - in fact I have no idea, deff way larger than my tubing is. Oh here it is Alphacool 17370 Eiszapfen HF... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HQ8JUVI?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share being old school like me, there are many reasons I’d like to run lines outside my case. Other than shoving them through a vacant pci, a clean look would be nice lol. also, I should mention - and no I’m not advertising. Can anybody or has anybody found something like this on Amazon? why Amazon? Why don’t I order one off idk, performancepcs.com or awesomecustomstuff.com? simple answer, our Amazon warehouse is no further than the nearest Walmart (not advertising again, walnut just happens to be the only supermarket in town). And of course, returns are easy. I could have a bracket tomorrow versus 3 weeks from now with some other site. again, not advertising! It’s a convenience factor, there isn’t exactly a micro center or other hardcore PC warehouse around - otherwise I’d be there daily… and probably super broke! TLDR; where can I find a pci bracket with g1/4 outlets? What would I even search for cause I can find em on google just not Amazon. NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys n girls n however you identify (weird times we live in)

I just wanted to share a discussion idea. Could you use a 3D mouse (3D Space Mouse like from 3Dconnexion) to play games with? And how do you do it? I saw a post saying you can play Sims with it. Then I saw someone saying they can play COD with it too. So I plugged mine in (from work) and couldn't get it to work and just gave up without too much playing around with the settings and forgot all about the idea. But the question returned again when I was playing a game with poor controls. So I'm curious to see if anyone else has tried it and succeeded. Check out this forum post where this guy created his own gaming setup around one of these things. Epic gaming rig part! https://forum.3dconnexion.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=33966 Maybe Linus and the team would like to try out a bunch of the 3D space mice out, compare them for various games and in a later video create their own parts like that link shows? Could almost make 3+ videos out of these things with their potential for new discussions. Maybe even a sponsorship with the manufacturers.

Would using these Corsair Type4 cables work with my PSU? I currently have a BitFenix WhisperM and from what I've found they have the same pinout as Corsair PSU's that uses Type4 cables. I can't find much more information regarding this however I did find a reply on another post that touches on this. I'm not too knowledgeable regarding this but am hoping to find out a bit more from someone that is before actually plugging these cables into my system. I'd hate to short anything if I were to plug this in. My reason for swapping out the cables is because I want short cables for my build so using SF cables will allow that without having to go the custom cable route.

Hey guys, I've recently picked up a 48 port POE switch for cheap, not knowing how loud the fans would be. I wanna build some kind of custom enclosure anyway, a small cabinet to be exact, and I had the idea to put 6 noctua fans for airflow / cooling. Looking at it and since it's in my room / bedroom, it shouldn't be loud so I'd go with some Noctua NF-A20's probably, 4 intake and 2 out. I'd open the switch and let the 4 intake fans, blow on them from directly on top, trying to cool it down, the 2 blowing out are just so I don't have all the hot air inside it of course. But I'm kinda worried it's not gonna be enough cooling so I thought about asking you guys. I'd either put the fans onto the switch fan ports or I'd get a splitter and the 5V fans, to power them via a USB wall socket. Do you think it's gonna be enough cooling for the switch? It currently has 6 small (I think it was 20mm fans) inside it. I'm not sure about the power draw but I think I read that max draw can be around 600 watts(?) for this model. I bet it's enough but having a few more opinions would be nice for me as I've never had a switch that big before / I've never tried cooling a switch. Thank you all in advance for the help and tips! I'll add the exact model and max power draw in a bit, if needed. Edit: The switch is a "Baystack 5520-48T PWR"

Hello LTT community, I would like help with my custom cooling system, I would like some tips, it is from the ekwb brand, and my question that has been tormenting me is: Do I need a sensor or a digital sensor inside the circuit? Could you recommend me for my circuit? (because it is necessary to avoid combining different types of metals due to corrosion) in my case it is completely from the ekwb brand, so it is nickel and (copper in the radiators if I am not mistaken), I would appreciate any recommendation or advice, thanks

I was playing ROBLOX with 1 Graphic button on the settings, so the least possible graphics which reduces how much is loaded into the game in one go. I also had Discord at the time open, along with my browser, Microsoft Edge, now, I was on the website of ROBLOX with my browser and it was very slow and stuff would sometimes not load in, like only the very little things like my avatar in the avatar editor and what not, but anyways, as I was customizing one for a friend, I kept lagging a lot in my game, to the point my computer had to like, refresh it's system?? Where I wouldn't see my taskbar and something would load as the mouse would show me, and then it would come back again, and also, my ROBLOX just crashed or something because my PC just closed it down for no reason?? It did make my game go purple and then black whilst it then went back to normal. But, the next minute it would be at 2 FPS or something as I would lag THAT badly, I also checked for viruses with the quick scan on my computer on Windows Defender and nothing shown on it, and I also uninstalled anything WAY before but I did check files of any apps I previously installed to then delete them but NOT go in the Windows.old or Windows folders as they're vunerable and control my PC, etc. I also mentioned previously in my first post that my dad was going to check it, he didn't, he didn't call me downstairs to check or anything, so, yeah, I just don't know what to do and very scared I am. So, if anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it, thanks! It is also supposed to be £600 PC, custom built, by my dad with the company being Acer, etc. This is my PC: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.71 GHz Installed RAM 12.0 GB System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display Edition Windows 10 Home Version 21H2 Installed on 19/01/2022 I also did mention in my previous post that my PC had melted 5 power cables / Kettle leads, I have no clue why, may be the power supply, I think. And I also need to tell you guys something. My PC has been plugged out a few times due to a loose power cable, however, I make sure it is put in properly, and, when my Mum or Dad go upstairs to move my desk a slight bit, my computer shuts down and then boots back up again. I dunno what to do about that except possibly get another Kettle lead, so... Please help. My PC when Idle:

Hi, for the past 3 or so years i have been fighting with my fans I have 3 original phanteks fans and 2 corsair h100i fans my mobo has 5 fanheaders but i need my aio plugged into 1 of the slots however my h100i allows plugging in 2 fans into it (great ! (not really...)) my current setup is: 3 phanteks fans plugged into asus motherboard controlled using AI Suite 3 2 corsair fans plugged into h100i aio watercooler my issues: coirsair fans are LOUD coirsair software is a piece of **** it never respects my profiles, randomly does random stuff like ramping up and down for no reason (I have stable rpm untill like 80C so it shouldn't) asus software is not terrible... but could be better i want more control fixes: get new fans add more fans to motherboard so i don't have to use h100i and iCUE use https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases instead of AI Suite 3 write custom software to make custom event based fan curves or use software above now comes my question and followup, is there something that (preferably open source) can allow me to add let's say 2 or 3 more fans i don't mean a splitter or commander or whatever they are called, i mean a way to add FAN1 FAN2 with their own (different) events/fan curves? just like a motherboard supports i looked up for corsair, they have an API for iCUE which is great, but WHY can't i have custom fan speed, their api only supports colors?? im desperate enough to make my own board/hardware if nothing is available? would create new thread on that, as i have some questions for example my device manager lists "ACPI-Lüfter" (Lüfter = Fan) is there easy way to add more fans to windows/device manager? let's say im lacking in the driver department making a board that can control 10 fans via pwm and writing some software in whatever using serial (better choice?) is pretty easy, software is where stuff is harder but probably borrowing some code from hwmonitor should make it easier, again would make new thread maybe some peeps would get on the board (open source hardware and software, because im tired of iCUE) i tried googling and didn't find a product that can do this pretty easy task let me know what you think !
