Hello, I have recently removed all my fans, including my CPU fan and inserted a Cryorig R1 Ultimate to take on the load of the whole PC. The whole PC seems to be cool @ 20-30 Degrees, but the GPU is usually @ 50 Degrees Idle and @ 60-70 Degrees while gaming. Is it safe to say I am having enough cooling or do I have to adjust something? Any remarks and feedback appreciated.

i currently have an intel stock cooler on my i5 4690k and im thinking of getting a different cooler my case only supports coolers 155mm and under so ive been browsing the net and ive come down to two options Cryorig H7 Noctua D9L which one should i get, or is there anything better you'd reccomend? thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I'd like to know is Cryorig H7 air cooler good enough to cool my upcoming Ryzen 7 1800X CPU? I heard a lot of people say that an AIO is a much better choice but I don't do overclocking and at the same time I try to avoid wasting more money spending for another cooler. Thank you.

Hello, is it possible to mount a noctua fan on a cryorig c7 cpu heatsink? And if yes how? the fan on the heatsink broke so i want a replacment, Thank you for the anwser.

I don't know which to choose. The Dark Rock Pro 3 is £20 cheaper, looks really good for a CPU Cooler but has an amazingly bad installation whereas the Cryorig R1 has a very simple installation and has slightly better performance. So I am looking to upgrade my computer in terms of its silence. I am looking at getting a new CPU Cooler. I am looking between the Cryorig H7 with a Noctua NF-F12 and the Noctua NH-U12s. I want your opinion on what you think would be better. Also, one thing to note is that I have the corsair 100R as my case and it says that it supports only 150mm tall heatsinks, but I am using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo with a height of 159mm and it seems to fit just fine, so I would imagine that the Noctua NH-U12s would also fit fine. Hello. I want to be able to access/see all my dimm slots on the Asus Crosshair 6 hero. I know the universal is made for better ram clearance but is it possible to put the front fan on the ultimate and put it on the back with no issues? The case I will be using is the Dark Base Pro 900. Bought a Cryorig M9i off of Newegg for $19.99 (US) with free shipping. Here is my review. FIRST IMPRESSIONS The box was about the size I expected, but at least 2-3x the weight I was expecting. I was expecting a kind of lightweight feel, since the cooler is mostly aluminum, but Cryorig surprised me with how solid this thing feels. UNBOXING The box & packaging were great quality and easy to open. Nice graphics on the outside too. Included in said box: The heatsink (1) 92mm PWM 2200RPM fan - pre-mounted (4) fan clips, 2 for included fan (pre-mounted) and 2 extra for optional 2nd fan (4) fan vibration absorbers, 2 pre-mounted and 2 extra (2) heatsink mounting screws (pre-mounted to heatsink) (1) 4gram tube of CP 15 thermal paste (4) hexagon-head mounting posts (4) thumbscrew caps for mounting (2) black mounting arms (1) black plastic backplate - NOTE: this backplate feels extremely solid and I would have thought it was metal if it didn't sound like plastic when hit with a screwdriver (1) manual (1) registration card sealed in a nice little metallic envelope - NOTE: registration increases warranty from 3 years to 6 (!!!!!!!!!!! i don't think my PC will last that long lol) i think that's it? INSTALLATION Fairly simple, about 5-10 minutes for noobs including stock cooler removal. This was my first cooler installation (stock doesn't count) and it was fairly painless. REMOVE FAN FROM M9i HEATSINK Unplug and remove stock cooler, cleaning any old thermal paste Mount backplate using hex mounting posts Attach mounting arms to opposite end of mounting posts, surrounding the CPU, using the thumbscrew caps Apply thermal paste to CPU Remove plastic cover and press heatsink down on CPU (make sure you did step 1) Screw in and tighten the 2 mounting screws using a Phillips head screwdriver Plug in cooler to CPU_FAN header and enjoy PERFORMANCE AND ACOUSTICS My old LGA1150 stock cooler for my 4770K some of the cores hit 102C while playing Overwatch and sounded like a jet. AIDA64 pushed it to and slightly beyond 100C while thermal throttling up to 16%... all at stock clocks... The M9i, however, runs AIDA64 at max 65C on core 3 and all the rest lower, while having literally no audible noise. Seriously, if I open the side panel and stop the fan with my finger I hear no difference compared to 100% fan speed. Amazing product Cryorig, and what's even better is the price tag! VERDICT Great looking, sounding, and built product. Solid cooling for the small size and compatible with literally any memory kit. Great value for money. Even comes with extra thermal paste for reapplication or use in other devices. Also very good compatibility, 4 sockets with only 1 set of mounting hardware so no confusion (LGA115X compatible, so 1150, 1155, 1156, and 1151) and AMD version available as well. 10/10 would recommend!

I'm looking to buy a new CPU cooler for my i7-6700K. I'm deciding between the Cryorig H5 (Ultimate/Universal, both are the same price and my RAM is low profile) or the Scythe Mugen 5. Both of them are the same price here. Can anyone tell me which of these two is the best as far as cooling and noise goes?

I was wondering if it was possible to remove the cover on the heatsink of the Cryorig H7, I'm thinking about painting my case and I tought why not that plastic stuff too? I Mean the one with the logo on it an the hole, not the fan.

Hello, which cooler from those two is better performancewise? The Noctua is quite expensive and i would have to get a normally looking fan, but it has 5 heatpipes, cryorig on the on the other hand is cheaper but has only 4 heatpipes but much more massive heatsink, my clearance limit is 166mm. I just came back from a month long vacation and the first thing i did was to update my NVDIA driver (MSI GTX 1080) and then played Battlefield 1. The very first thing i noticed was that I'm getting below 50fps compared to 90+fps i was getting a month ago. I thought maybe its the new NVIDIA driver so i downgrade to the previous version but to no avail still the same. This morning I found out that my CPU temp is going 80C during idle and shutdown after a few minutes. Now I'm abit lost on how to troubleshoot. I have no idea what causes the increase of temp as I didnt use my rig for 1 month. I'm can confirm that before i went for vacation my CPU is not overheating. Any kind souls who can help me troubleshoot. Update: I reapplied a new thermal paste (Arctic MX-4) but still the temps are way too hot. Even in Bios the temp can reach 80C from 36C on boot.

After quite a bit of research, I'm thinking that I'm going to go with a Cryorig R1 Ultimate along with the new CPU upgrade (4790k) that I will be (hopefully) getting in the near future. So I was wondering, does anyone have experience with this cooler already and can give opinions? i.e. obviously cooling performance, as well as mounting and noise levels. Thanks.

I have been excited for the Cryorig H7 quad lumi since it has been announced at computex, and there it was stated that it would be out before the holiday season. H5 Ultimate: ~$43 USD (Newegg cyber Monday) 19 ~ 23 dBA 49 CFM (air flow) 700 ~ 1300 RPM ±10 % 1.44 mmH2O (air pressure) 4 copper nickel plated heat pipes 140 mm fan H7: ~$30 USD (Newegg cyber Monday) 10 ~ 25 dBA 76 CFM (air flow) 330 ~ 1600 RPM ±10 % 1.65 mmH2O (air pressure) 3 copper nickel plated heat pipes 120 mm fan My question: is there a noticeable difference in performance in synthetic benchmarks and real time use during gaming between the h5 ultimate and h7, making the h5 worth the extra ~$13 USD, or is there negligible difference and might as well go with the cheaper one? I have been looking to upgrade my CPU cooler and was wondering which one I should get I have chose these two because they have great cooling for overclocking and I don't have to buy low profile ram. I was wondering which one is quieter and which one offers better temps?

It's making a ticking sound similar to when a drive needle is acting up during a read cycle, one of the scariest things I don't like hearing from my PC. I thought at first it was either of my hard drives creating the noise because those are fairly new and not much data has gone through them. I was able to isolate the noise and surprised to find out that it was coming from my CPU Cooler which is a Cryorig R1 Universal the noise is coming from the thin fan, the XT 140, I unclipped it from the heatsink and checked the axle lock, that thin plastic washer that keeps the bearings in and prevent them from coming off has loosened. I flattened the plastic washer and put it back in and the noise is gone, a day later it's making a noise again and most likely the washer came off again. Not sure if taking a plastic washer from a different fan would solve the problem because I'm think it's likely to come off again since it's of the same material. I'm thinking of other ideas for a fix at the moment, maybe someone else had this problem too and I would like to know how others repaired theirs.
