So i just recently started buying hardware for my next pc build. I plan on building it in like a week from now when all the parts get her. At the moment i have bought Asrock Extreme4 z370 motherboard 2x8gb g.skill trident z 3200mhz ram evga g2 supernova 750w psu and my plan is to go get the silverstone rl06 pro to build it in and a i5-8600k cpu what i haven't fully decided yet is on the cooler, but i am considering the: Cryorig H5 Universal or Ultimate. I have heard something about ram size on the ram are too heigh for the ultimate so i should get the universal or something? so if you know something about that please tell and also any coments on my build will be appreciated btw im going to use my current graphic card gtx 1060 and my 128 gb ssd and 1 tb sata harddisk in the new build also. then later put in a bigger ssd

A few weeks ago I installed a Cryorig C7 on a MSI B250M Mortar mobo to cool a an Intel i5 7500. I had difficulties installing the C7 using the backplate, which is different from the one shown on the installation video. The four mounting posts/feet on the C7 matches the holes on the mobo, but only three on the backplate. So, out of fear that I might damage the parts involved, (my first time installing a cpu cooler) I instead used the included washers/spacers. For about three weeks the installation seems good, but I still has doubts from not installing using a backplate. Idle temps are about 40 deg C, under load are 60 deg C (playing GTA V), with an ambient temps of 36 deg C. so is this setup, me not using the backplate OK? By the way the C7 are brand new/unused, bought from a friend for about 20 us dollars, and the case are a Fractal Design Core 1300

Hi, I am upgrading from am3 to am4 and hoping to keep my cooler. I have a Cryorig h7 cooler and looking to buy an am4 bracket (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cryorig-am4-bracket-for-h7-cooler-type-b-hs-00u-cy.html) so I can fit it to an asus strix b350-f (https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B350-F-GAMING/) my question is will the am4 bracket fit this board? The bracket just looks to big in the pictures to fit on this board. Thanks

I currently have an i7-8700k with an ASUS ROG Strix z370-F cooled with hyper 212x. I'm thinking about upgrading my cooling but unwilling to switch to AIOs. Cryorig R1 Universal seems to be perfect for me as it doesnt interfere with the RAM slots (important factor as im using 2x G.Skill Trident Z RGB, and want the RGB glory to be visible all the time :D) BUT..... i've seen in some reviews that the R1 MAY cause clearance issues with the first GPU slot in some mobos. I want to know if any of u guys know whether the first slot will be blocked in the mobo i'm using.

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/nfBywV - The CPU cooler I am actually going for is the H5 Ultimate just it doesn't have a price on PCPP so I used the universal as a place holder. I am building this PC in England and my budget is max around £2100. This PC is mainly for gaming. My monitor is just a basic 24" 1080p 144hz for gaming atm (and a just 24" 1080p 60hz monitor as browsing)but I will be upgrading to 1440p and then 4k at a later date. It may seem like it is a bit overkill but that is what I was going for. I am mainly looking for help with the storage and the CPU Cooler(as I want to do some mild-overclocking and I don't know how well the H5 Ultimate performs) Also, will there be enough fan headers on the motherboard for the 2 Corsair ML120s and 2 Corsair ML140s and will they supply the necessary 12w? Thanks

Hi, having a dilemma on what to get for my S340 Elite which has an empty front panel fans for maximum of 2 x 140mm fans. i'm looking to maximize my Ryzen 1500x Processor into 3.9 Ghz maybe but i'm having a problem with my Zotac GTX 1080 AMP Extreme + dissipating too much warm heat that affects my CPU temps. which would you think would make a better choice? 2 x ML140mm on front panel + cryorig H7 Quad Lumi or ID-Cooling Frostflow+ 240 Snow edition. which of these would make noticeable difference in terms of reducing CPU temperature and overall ambient temperature inside the PC? hopefully someone can help me on this.

I currently own a Corsair 100i v2 - Refurbished. But I keep having lots of issues: I own an FX8350 @ STOCK (plan to overclock) The temperatures are really high, like 40-55 degrees just from browsing the internet and watching youtub - and around 70 degrees underload. Fans are at 50% and pump is at 100%. But if I set the fans to default the fans are really loud too; So is it worth me returning the 100i and getting a refund, then buying an air cooler such as the Cryorig C1 (has to be able to fit in the Corsair Air 240).

I don't know which to choose. The Dark Rock Pro 3 is £20 cheaper, looks really good for a CPU Cooler but has an amazingly bad installation whereas the Cryorig R1 has a very simple installation and has slightly better performance. My PC build (the air cooler is subject to change, hence this thread): https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/kYsR7h

Hi everyone, I'd like to know is Cryorig H7 air cooler good enough to cool my upcoming Ryzen 7 1800X CPU? I heard a lot of people say that an AIO is a much better choice but I don't do overclocking and at the same time I try to avoid wasting more money spending for another cooler. Thank you.

So I am looking to upgrade my computer in terms of its silence. I am looking at getting a new CPU Cooler. I am looking between the Cryorig H7 with a Noctua NF-F12 and the Noctua NH-U12s. I want your opinion on what you think would be better. Also, one thing to note is that I have the corsair 100R as my case and it says that it supports only 150mm tall heatsinks, but I am using a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo with a height of 159mm and it seems to fit just fine, so I would imagine that the Noctua NH-U12s would also fit fine. Let me know your opinions. Thanks!

I was wondering if it was possible to remove the cover on the heatsink of the Cryorig H7, I'm thinking about painting my case and I tought why not that plastic stuff too? I Mean the one with the logo on it an the hole, not the fan.

Hello, which cooler from those two is better performancewise? The Noctua is quite expensive and i would have to get a normally looking fan, but it has 5 heatpipes, cryorig on the on the other hand is cheaper but has only 4 heatpipes but much more massive heatsink, my clearance limit is 166mm. Thanks!

Cryorig 2017-2018 There are 2 main topics of discussion I've seen among Cryorig enthusiasts. 1.- When will the AF41 be released after we saw a picture of it leaked in later 2016. and 2.- After Computex, what coolers will be offered with the Cryorig Cu treatment and when? I spoke with a rep from research idea gear who would like to remain anonymous. Questions and Answers Q1. When will the AF41 be officially released, and can it be made from 2-3 R1 Ultimate coolers? A1. "unfortunately the AF41 is just idea for the April fool event and we never plan to release it and make it available"-"No, you could not assemble the R1s into an AF41 just by yourself." (Would they help me make it then??) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Q2. What will the launch look like for the copper coolers? A2. "for the Cu series, the C7 will be first product to be released in Copper edition." _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Below is a picture of the ginormous Cryorig AF41 and two pictures of the Cu edition Cryorig C7 cooler first to be released soon, thanks for reading!

Cryorig defrosted an old idea with their new desktop case design, but is it cool, or should it have stayed on ice? Bought a Cryorig M9i off of Newegg for $19.99 (US) with free shipping. Here is my review. FIRST IMPRESSIONS The box was about the size I expected, but at least 2-3x the weight I was expecting. I was expecting a kind of lightweight feel, since the cooler is mostly aluminum, but Cryorig surprised me with how solid this thing feels. UNBOXING The box & packaging were great quality and easy to open. Nice graphics on the outside too. Included in said box: The heatsink (1) 92mm PWM 2200RPM fan - pre-mounted (4) fan clips, 2 for included fan (pre-mounted) and 2 extra for optional 2nd fan (4) fan vibration absorbers, 2 pre-mounted and 2 extra (2) heatsink mounting screws (pre-mounted to heatsink) (1) 4gram tube of CP 15 thermal paste (4) hexagon-head mounting posts (4) thumbscrew caps for mounting (2) black mounting arms (1) black plastic backplate - NOTE: this backplate feels extremely solid and I would have thought it was metal if it didn't sound like plastic when hit with a screwdriver (1) manual (1) registration card sealed in a nice little metallic envelope - NOTE: registration increases warranty from 3 years to 6 (!!!!!!!!!!! i don't think my PC will last that long lol) i think that's it? INSTALLATION Fairly simple, about 5-10 minutes for noobs including stock cooler removal. This was my first cooler installation (stock doesn't count) and it was fairly painless. REMOVE FAN FROM M9i HEATSINK Unplug and remove stock cooler, cleaning any old thermal paste Mount backplate using hex mounting posts Attach mounting arms to opposite end of mounting posts, surrounding the CPU, using the thumbscrew caps Apply thermal paste to CPU Remove plastic cover and press heatsink down on CPU (make sure you did step 1) Screw in and tighten the 2 mounting screws using a Phillips head screwdriver Plug in cooler to CPU_FAN header and enjoy PERFORMANCE AND ACOUSTICS My old LGA1150 stock cooler for my 4770K some of the cores hit 102C while playing Overwatch and sounded like a jet. AIDA64 pushed it to and slightly beyond 100C while thermal throttling up to 16%... all at stock clocks... The M9i, however, runs AIDA64 at max 65C on core 3 and all the rest lower, while having literally no audible noise. Seriously, if I open the side panel and stop the fan with my finger I hear no difference compared to 100% fan speed. Amazing product Cryorig, and what's even better is the price tag! VERDICT Great looking, sounding, and built product. Solid cooling for the small size and compatible with literally any memory kit. Great value for money. Even comes with extra thermal paste for reapplication or use in other devices. Also very good compatibility, 4 sockets with only 1 set of mounting hardware so no confusion (LGA115X compatible, so 1150, 1155, 1156, and 1151) and AMD version available as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Hello. I want to be able to access/see all my dimm slots on the Asus Crosshair 6 hero. I know the universal is made for better ram clearance but is it possible to put the front fan on the ultimate and put it on the back with no issues? The case I will be using is the Dark Base Pro 900. Don't know what else to say except thank you in advance for your help.

I'm looking to buy a new CPU cooler for my i7-6700K. I'm deciding between the Cryorig H5 (Ultimate/Universal, both are the same price and my RAM is low profile) or the Scythe Mugen 5. Both of them are the same price here. Can anyone tell me which of these two is the best as far as cooling and noise goes?
