After sometime of playing games (usually 20-60min) my pc crashes with either or both a loud repeating-ish sound and a near blackscreen, some colours remain however those seem to be oversaturated. The PC runs just fine up until the very point it crashes. I recently reintsalled windows after I had some BSOD problems with my new systems and CPU driver, now those problems are gone I expierence seemingly GPU related crashes. I always already uninstalled and reinstalled my GPU drivers. Thanks for help in advance! Edit: Games I play and experience the crashes with are, as those are the only ones I played on this system so far, are Civ IV, Valorant and Satisfactory. Civ IV and Satisfactory also give me an error code with Exception Violation Access, idk if they are related though.

Hi all, I have been getting random crashes and PC reboots along with BSOD when gaming over the last 6 months at seemingly random intervals. When it first began happening I thought it was to do with my DRAM as I was receiving something about large memory corruption when debugging a minidump file so I ran Memtest86 overnight and every stick passed the test. I then began to play games again normally and disabled automatic restart and everything seemed to work fine for a while until my PC started to BSOD repeatedly. I then decided to clean install Windows and move to Windows 11 since I was previously on 10 and thought that my registry was perhaps the issue. This worked for about 3 weeks and I had no issues despite playing AC Origins on a really old Nvidia driver (461.92) since the latest drivers have issues with flickering underwater and this is the only driver that fixes it. It then started to randomly crash during gameplay and the only way out was to hold the power button down to turn off the PC as everything was unresponsive. I then uninstalled the old drivers with DDU in safe mode and reinstalled the latest drivers but it still caused crashes. I started running Heaven benchmark and it would crash and reboot. I then decided that I would upgrade my PSU since I thought it wasn’t supplying enough wattage to my GPU and when looking at each of the voltages the PSU was supplying, they were all a bit below what they were supposed to be, for example, the 12V was showing as 11.5V. Unfortunately this didn’t seem to make a difference. The reason I also believed the PSU was the issue is because my PC was always at stock settings but around the time this started happening I realised that my CPU had been overclocked by the Intel Turbo Mode which was never originally turned on. I had the BIOS set to ‘Enforce All Limits’ as I only had a 650W PSU and didn’t want to risk running the PSU at close to full capacity. I decided to leave Turbo Mode switched on and ran a cpu stress test with Intel XTU after replacing my PSU with a 1000W model and my pc still crashed and rebooted. After the reboot I tried to boot into BIOS and my pc froze on the ROG monitor logo screen. I held the power button down to reboot again and once I got into the BIOS the PC froze again so I just turned the PC off and left it. I really am at a loss right now and any help would be greatly appreciated. Things I have currently done to try fix: Update the bios to latest version Remove all overclocks Memtest86 to test DRAM Bought a new PSU with higher wattage Clean install Windows 10 and upgrade to Windows 11 Ran sfc /scannow in cmd and no file integrity violations were found. Clean installed latest drivers using DDU whilst in safe mode. Turn off Fast Startup in Windows as it can cause problems sometimes and isn’t needed when I have an NVME SSD. Check Event viewer which says Kernel-Power Error ID 41 and the following bugcheckcode 278 which is 0x116 Video_TDR_Failure I have also had the bugcheckcode 0x119 which is Video_Scheduler_Internal_Error And I finally 0xEF which is Critical_Process_Died. The only things I can think of now, is that either my gpu is dying or needs thermal paste reapplying despite there being no artifacting or high temperatures or that my cpu needs the thermal paste reapplying despite it too being at low temperatures, or my motherboard is faulty. My CMOS battery might also be failing because when I reboot the time it is set to is 09:00 despite it being 23:00 at the time of using the PC. I also forgot to mention that when I ran heaven benchmark something in my pc began to make a revving sound and I’m unsure if it was gpu fans or a case fan, it only seemed to happen once. The PC also sometimes has the white light on the motherboard which means it’s having trouble detecting the discreet GPU and the screen stays black. The pc still boots into Windows though as the code on the motherboard is A9 which is ‘Start of Setup’. Other times it will just boot into Windows without any light on the motherboard. my specs: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO motherboard ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti Intel Core i9-9900K 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200Mhz Corsair TX650M (Old PSU) ASUS ROG Strix 1000G (New PSU) 2TB Intel 760p M.2 NVME SSD 4TB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive Corsair H100x AIO Cooler Commander Pro and 6 Corsair QL120 Fans Apologies for the big wall of text and I’m happy to answer or provide anything needed.

For the past few weeks, I've been experiencing BSODs, system freezes and application crashes frequently, most commonly while playing games and watching videos on Youtube/Floatplane. I've attempted a variety of the common troubleshooting methods including using DDU to wipe video drivers and running Memtest86 for 4 passes which resulted in a pass. Running Heaven and Cinebench R23 to test the GPU and CPU respectively have shown nothing out of the ordinary to me. I tried to analyze the .dmp files from the bug checks myself, but every step I've taken has led me nowhere. At this point I'm lost on what I could do other than trying a clean Windows install, which I would like to avoid if possible. Some additional information: One of the BSODs I experienced happened while I was in safe mode so I could run DDU. After having been in Windows for few minutes, my whole system locked up for about a minute before the blue screen appeared with a stop code of DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION While playing a game, I've noticed that Windows Error Reporting in Event Viewer will report an event name of RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64 roughly a few minutes or so before I experience a crash/BSOD Before one BSOD I had while playing MWII, AUDIODG.EXE crashed with the faulting module name being THXV2RenderAPO_0528.dll, which resulted in me losing all audio Some application crashes have occurred with two different apps at once. For example, at the same time that MWII crashed, a tab that I had open on Firefox crashed Link to my current build's specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/EastCoastShepard/saved/xKtJwP Link to a .ZIP file containing minidump files, a dxdiag log and various screenshots from Event Viewer which could be useful: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JSkX95GxXfAHr51qu0TjXdA94sgXXACL/view?usp=sharing

This has been happening on and off for a few weeks. I'm not sure if its and oculus problem, beat saber, or steam vr. Today it happened 3 times. I'm in the middle of a song, and it freezes. I go out of the song, and restart, but it still continues. All sound is lost in oculus. Video of this happening Similar things happen in other games too. In HL Alyx, I get a sudden lag spike, then I lose all sound. I believe these issues are related. My Specs are i5-6500, gtx 970, 16gb ram. Windows 10 pro build 1909. Why does this keep happening and how do I fix it?

So I built my computer about 3 weeks ago(specs below) and ever since I completed my build, I've had issues with black screens on boot up, I'd turn on my computer id get the boot screen for my mobo which is tuf gaming for a brief 3 seconds, my peripherals would light up my monitor responds(obviously) and then boom, black screen, my peripherals are no longer lit and nothing is responding, at that point i have to power off the pc by holding down the power button until it turns off and turning it back on again in hopes it boots to windows, it usually does the second to third time, now this isnt the only issue, I also get black screens if my computer is idle for a long time, if i leave my pc for a while and it goes to sleep, it often wont wake back up lmao, it just stops responding, I'll click my mouse and type on my keyboard and it just doesn't wake up, at that point i have to repeat the process from before, but it ain't over, I often get crashes in game after gaming for about an hour, this isnt consistent but happens occasionally, At first I thought it had something to do with my gpu and its poor drivers considering its a 5600 xt but I'm not sure thats the case because of the issues when booting up my pc, I'm beyond confused and I need some help. mobo: asus b450m pro gaming cpu: Amd ryzen 5 2600 gpu: Gigabyte 6gb gaming oc 5600 xt ram: G.Skill Ripjaws V series 16gb 2x8 ddr4 3600 psu: thermaltake smart 700 storage: kingston 225gb ssd edit: Im not sure if this has much to do with anything, but I also had a hard time setting my ram to its rated speeds in bios when I first built it, I was able to set it to 3600 speeds but when I did I'd get bsod in windows, constantly, so i had to leave it at 2600 i believe, which was default, and it stopped.

Hello, for a little over a week, my PC randomly freezes (Not responsive to anything except hard reset), or crashes. I mean totally random, once I set the graphic of one of my games so the GPU ran at 99% and it held strong. But it than crashed in just sitting on the desktop. No, BSOD, no nothing. So I’ve tried the following... Thanks in advance for trying to help. Reinstalled GPU Uninstalling and reinstalling video drivers Reinstalled and swapped RAM in all 4 different slots (I’ve got two so I swapped them in each and on their own) Unplugged and sprayed air in all power cords Wiped both Drives Wiped Windows and tried installing it but can’t get through the installation process cause it crashes or freezes Unplugged all peripherals Changed RAM speed in BIOS Windows Drive and Memory Checker (Both came up without any errors) Ram Blue Screen Viewer (Didn’t show I had any except one a while back) but this got wiped. Yeah, I have googled this and seen many posts and videos about this, none of which have worked. I have an Asus Crosshair VI Hero Motherboard Ryzen 7 1700 tried it both stock speed at 3 GHz and overclocked at 3.7Ghz 16GB of Ram at 2400Mhz 2 GTX1080ti in SLI 850Watt PSU I have tried the GPU's underclocked by 20 Mhz and the Video Ram Underclocked by 100Mhz I have tried the system as I say with the CPU overclocked at 3.7Ghz and at the stock 3Ghz The Bios at optimal default settings and nothing is working. What is happening I have been able to play the first 8 to 9 hours of the game, Meet up with Yen and went off with her when the Wild Hunt chase us down, got to where Gerald is being groomed and my PC keeps shutting down, just a complete power outage I am able to play All the Assassins Creeds games at 4K resolution and Red Dead Redemption at 4K through Vulkan in SLI, Blender processing on Both GPU's and Folding@Home on both GPU's and my CPU no issues what so ever, many people ahve said it is a PSU problem, but if Folding@home and Blender can run for hours on my PC without it cutting out I can't see how this can be. The Witcher 3 just keeps shutting my PC down. I have run 3DMark on DX12 at 4K runs fine and Heaven for 20 minutes. no overheating issues. Just from one second to the other, no BSOD, no Sounds, nothing. My Screen just goes off and then I need to boot up my PC again I have reinstalled the GPU Drivers. I have reinstalled the Motherboard Drivers. the only information I have is by going into the Event Viewer in Windows 10 this is what I can find at the time it is shutting down The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54} and APPID {15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402} to the user DESKTOP-JEESTVV\jjtho SID (S-1-5-21-3694686107-1848145489-1711999509-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool. At that time I had Asus GPU Tweek OSD up and my GPU's where at 61 Degree's C and the GPU was at 49 Degree's C so it isn't a heating issue and as I say I have tried stress testing my PC out and it has lasted with no issues so the PSU is fine Anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it? Hi all, I been using my newly built PC just fine for 2-3 months now, no issues what so ever, then suddenly without any hardware or driver change some games like Painkiller or Rimworld would crash my pc. The crash looks like this : Sudden stuttering, audio stuttering, full freeze, no command does anything completely locked up with the image frozen on the screen has to restart computer with hard reset button. In some games it happens after 5 minutes (Painkiller, HL2) in some games an hour (DOTA2) in some only when I do a specific action (Rimworld opening the map). Seems intensity or temps have no effect on this as DOTA and DOOM eternal is way more intense than HL2 yet they dont crash as quick. Might be windows trying to access or write to somewhere it cant and it crashes? Nothing shows up in event viewer other than loss of power, no crashdumps generated either. Did memory test all good, gpu stress test all good, cpu test all good, sdd test all good, low temps no overclocking running windows 10 latest drivers on everything including bios. Specs : Ryzen 7 2700 RX5700 XT Samsung ssd 256 gigs generic 600W PSU 16 Gigs of corsair vengeance ram(rgb) I dont want to reinstall windows but it might just be that, any other suggestions?

Hello everyone, I recently build a PC(will list components below), no issues with the building, small difficulties with installing windows but everything turned out fine. I was able to use the PC without any issues for the first 2 days or so, it ran smooth/fast and gave no issues whatsoever. Suddenly the PC crashed as I got a ‘blue screen’ (no errorcode whatsoever) that states something was wrong with the system and it would be restarted. After this the PC got stuck in the booting screen (I first waited about 20min) so I turned it off manually and tried to turn it on again. But when I tried to turn it on it would get stuck in a loop of starting my RGB and fans than shutting down and starting again (I also didn’t get the beep noise it normally made when starting). I took out some parts (gpu, ram and other pins) put them back and the problem seemed to be fixed. But about an hour later my PC froze (not giving me the screen as last time) I shut it down and the whole process started again. This repeated itself about 4/5 times. Then I got a message from windows saying the system had been damaged and needed to be repaired, I clicked the repair option and everything seemed fine again. I was able to use my pc for another 15min or so until it this time black screened and as always refused to turn on again. In that 15min I did check crystaldiskinfo and my ssd was marked as ‘good’ condition. If anyone has any suggestions it would be massively appreciated, if you’d like some more details to help me out please let me know and I’ll make sure to provide it, thanks! parts: Cpu: intel I5-9400F Gpu: msi geforce gtx 1650 Mobo: Asus prime h310m-e r2.0 Ram: corsair vengance 8gb Ssd: kingston ssdnow 480gb Psu: bequiet 400w IMG_0842.MP4

Hello, I have new pc (3 months old now, problems exist from the begining, but I was waiting for new GPU drivers ): CPU: Ryzen 3600,MOBO: B450 tomahawk max, RAM: 16gb corsair vengeance rgb pro, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700, PSU: TX650M and M.2 Adata SX8200 Pro. I have problem when I load up a game and within 10 minutes my screen goes green and my pc restarts itself and after that everything is fine. While I am using pc for word/internet/youtube (when there is no big load on gpu) pc behaves normal. I did not do any OC, my temps are good (max 80°C on gpu). I have tried DDU, different HDMI cabel different PCI-E cables and non helped.

My spes are: Gpu: evga 980 ti Cpu: i7 3770k Motherboard: Hp carver rev a Ram: ddr3 16gb Psu: rm550x corsair gold Then i have a 1 tb hdd and 250gb ssd My games will crash no matter what settings they are on, I've tried to notice if they crash faster with higher settings and I can barely tell. It's not overheating, that was the first thing I checked. I play fortnite, valorant, and rainbow six seige. They all crash, but fortnite crashes more often. Valorant doesn't crash that much, more every so often. I have a feeling it might be my ram, but I did a memory test and it came back fine. My pc also crashes sometimes, but that doesn't happen that much. This isn't custom built, my moms friend just offered the Gpu to me for free and I put it in this pc that I just had. Then I had issues with this cheap psu and got the corsair one. Before my pc would turn off for a few days and not turn on. But that doesn't happen any more because I got rid of that crappy psu. I would of never put it in, but the guy did it him self and I didn't have any money to upgrade. Im going to buy a new pc this summer, but rn I would like to just play on this and not have it crash. Thanks for reading, hopefully you can help me! Have a great day!

Hello, I'm not sure how to get help regarding this. So more and more games and GPU intensive programs crash my GPU. The screen goes black but you can still hear some sounds. When I restart I get a notification that the drivers were not able to restart. I believe it might be a power related issue from the GPUz log I created (I attached a copy for you to check). I already changed the regedit to leave more time for the GPU to recover and swapped; Installed latest drivers; Swapped the old PSU for a new one Used MSI Afterburn to dial back pretty much every value (for some time it worked); Any idea what can I try next? Thank you! GPU-Z Sensor Log.txt

Hi guys, I completed the build of my first ever gaming PC last month by upgrading my GPU. I already had some games on my PC from steam and some DVDs. But the first one I decided to try was the original Crysis to experience how great was this which inspired the famous ' Can it Run Crysis memes'. I downloaded it from steam and it outright refused to even load to the menu or the other EA or Nvidia logos. When I click play in steam I see a black screen for a second and it closes. I tried to run the exe file in different windows comparability mode but nothing works. My PC specs are; OS: Windows 10 pro 64 bit with Nov. 2019 update. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 running at stock speed. RAM: 2*8GB DDR4 at 3200mhz. GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (TU-104 variant) The game is installed on a 240 GB SSD. Other games are running fine and I am running the latest Nvidia Game ready driver. I have also run blender benchmarks without any problems. It's only Crysis refusing to even load to the menu. Please help me out guys I desperately want to experience Crysis.

Hi guys and girls, first of all here's my spec: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 MSI b450 tomahawk G.SKILL 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz CL16 Aegis Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER GAMING OC 8GB GDDR6 SilentiumPC Vero M2 600W 80 Plus Bronze so, i bought and built my first computer in august 2019, most of the games were running ok without any crashes but after couple of weeks while playing minecraft, my game just started to crash randomly on window mode, while on fullscreen mode graphics turned, well i dont even know how to describe it so i will attach a photo then more and more games just crashed in random moments, and then i thought "well maybe updating BIOS will help" BOOM BADA BAM it did not, it just made things even worse, i was on bios version 7C02v1B for my motherboard and updated it to version 7C02v1D using msi's live update 6, now with games crashes in random moments i got blue screens also popping up randomly, i will attach some of the most common blue screens that i got on my pc, I have tried many things: memtest (everything ok) i checked my disk (nothing wrong) swapped disks i tried to reinstall windows 3 times sfc /scannow cleaned all the drivers and installed brand new ones then i tried to swap graphic card from my brother's pc when i did that and tried to test in some games they just crashed (i dont know if it was becouse of the bottleneck (the gpu was allways on 100%) or the issue in my pc) i dont even know what it can be now, is it becouse of the RAM or the graphic or the psu, i dont know but what i know is that i need some help with that pc and sorry for my english, its not my main language here are some of the attachments:

Im posting this because COD warzone started crashing on startup, tried troubleshooting, nothing helped, im rocking a GALAX GTX 1080 HOF, a Ryzen 5 1600, 8GB 3200Mhz DDR4 with a B450 AORUS ELITE, and a 500w EVGA with 80PLUS White certification, the problem is, im getting microstutters in almost every heavy game, like Metro Exodus, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which both run fine, but starts stuttering like crazy when assets are loading though runs at a stable framerate, but the stutter makes them unplayable, (rocket league and games like that have no problem) and ever since i got warzone when i play it at the beggining of the round started like crazy stutter, and also when i tried to aim, and i didn't understood why that happened, i thought maybe it was the the disk drive(which is a seagate 1tb) also because Escape from Tarkov stuttered like crazy when i had it on the 1tb drive, but it got fixed when i moved it to the SSD, and EFT is also kinda a heavy game, so i bought a Samsung NVME 960 EVO just today, and arrives at May 4th, then i'll try to verify if the disk really was the cause of the problem, the thing is today every time i open Warzone the game crashes at menu, and i really started to think the problem is the 500w psu, i dont know if websites that calculate your wattage are real, but i got 383 watts from seasonic website, anyone willing on giving a little advice? 8(

I have just gotten an AMD FX 8350 from my grandmother for Christmas and it came out of the box with crashes nonstop. I ran a stability test and it can't get more than a few minutes in without saying "hardware failure detected". Is there any possible fix without sending it back to get a new one? I haven't overclocked it and i even bought a beefier air cooler for it (cryorig H7). Any help or suggestions of what to try?

hey there! i have a big problem with my file explorer. every time i make a new folder or text file, after i hit enter to set a name, my file explorer crashes, the task bar freezes and restarts. this also happens when i save or download a file. its really frustrating since i save a lot of pictures and every time i do so, i need to completely restart my file explorer, and go back to the destination. so the main problem is that when i make or save files, my file explorer crashes and my task bar restarts. I've tried many things like updating my MOBO drivers and checking my HDD, but nothing worked!. if anyone knows a way to fix this, that would be nice. Hi there. I set up my new pc and everything has been going great, Until I ran arma 3.it seams that the main issue is drivers. I downloaded a driver scan utility but of course you have to pay to download anything. however it did tell me what i was missing. I have done some searching and i have no clue where to find these drivers. I have found them on the web sight for this program but of course i would have to pay to download from there. The intel driver utility only gives my graphics drivers and I cant find anything useful on the asus web sight. does anyone know where I can find these drivers and why they are so difficult to locate.
