Hello LTT community, I have a problem that occurs when I apply A-XMP on my first build PC, it crashes hard and sometimes without BSOD's. I was wondering if my RAM was faulty or that my CPU cant run 3600Mhz, heard that Ryzen 9 5900x can but on the website it says only up to 3200Mhz I ran a few tests and BlueScreenView: Bluescreen view resulted in MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR BSOD's, and the memtest86 results are: Version A.50 Release Date 01/15/2021 Baseboard Manufacturer Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Hello, I have a problem. The problem is that the GPU is crashing after a game of Apex Legends (20-30 min games), like the monitor just goes black when it tries to go back to the lobby of Apex Legends, but the system is still on. The temps when I play was going around 65c to 70c with GPU utilization at around 90% to 100%. On my radeon settings I have Apex Legends on the default Gaming profile. I don't understand why is it doing this. Please help! Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 RAM: 16Gbs 3200mhz Mobo: Asrock B450m Steel Legend GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 4Gb

So i think i have done everything. I have updated my BIOS,Gpu driver. Checked CHKDSK , Temps,Ram Bluescreen Stope Codes I have gotten: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXPETION, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, KMODE_EXPETION_NOT_HANDLED, DPC_Watchdog_Violation Specs: CPU: AMD Fx6300 MotherBoard: MSI 970A-G46 GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Storage: KINGSTON SSD 120gb, Western Digital WDC HDD 600gb RAM: Corsair Vengence 16gb GPU SSD RAM and PSU is new. I think it is caused by the motherboard because before my ownership of this pc its motherboard had reach a little bit over 100 °C .

Specs down below The problem is that when i load up a game like the crew 2 on ultra 1440p 60fps for example the the pc simply crashes, i do still hear sound for 4 seconds or so. I have this same problem in other games aswel for example minecraft java with shaders or when im streaming. I also get 4 beeps in quick succession as a post code the gigabyte site says its the battery on the mother board and/or gpu aren't seated correctly. I unplugged both and put them back in. Yet the problem is still there. I have also tried a DDU, it also had no effect. Im thinking of reinstalling windows hoping that that might work. I think it might be a driver issue since i can still hear sound coming from the pc before it turns off and restarts so its probably not the psu because that would turn of the system instantly My question is if anyone knows how to fix this Spec: Cpu: I5 9600kf Gpu: inno3d Ichill x4 rtx 3070 Motherboard: gigabyte z370m d3h Ram: hyperX 24 gb running at 4000mhz (also tried running it at different speeds) Psu: corsair rm750x

Hello so i've been using this GPU for about half a year and after an driver update ive been experiencing some crashes, but this only happens the first few times i open a game and after a few crashes it doesnt happen until i restart or shutdown my pc. I have updated all the drivers for bios, chipset etc. Ive tried using DDU then reinstalling them but it still crashes. One thing i would like to add is that im using my integrated GPU for a second monitor maybe thats causing the problem but ive been using it for a month so why would it make problems now? Im using the GPU stock, was overclocked a bit before with the radeon software. Specs: I3-8100 RX 570 Asrock Phantom Gaming 4GB 700W Coolermaster masterwatt lite 8GB single channel ram H310M-R R2.0

I just finished building a new rig. Specs below. CPU: 3900xt GPU: ROG Strix RTX 3090 OC MOBO:Asus Crosshair VIII Hero Wifi RAM:2x16 Gb Corsair Vengence LPX 3200 C16 PSU: Corsair AX850 Displays: 2x Asus PB278Q on DP and HDMI, and 1x Samsung Odyssey G9 on DP 1.4 OS: Windows 10 Pro (Idk what build, but I have auto updates enabled unless I'm installing drivers, more info below in my steps so far*) I'm having an issue where my computer freezes up after waking from sleep. The screens turn on as if they've detected a signal, and then they just go back to standby after flickering the input signal channel (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc) and then my system goes completely unresponsive. Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work, Win+Ctrl+Shift+B doesnt work, nothing. Need to reset with reset button or cycle PSU/unplug & replug from wall. It seems to be an issue with the Samsung G9 and NVidia drivers, since I've seen a bunch of people on the Nvidia forums talk about similar black screen issues with the G9 and 3000 series GPUs, but theirs aren't' multi-monitor so they don't see the same behavior as I do across all 3 screens. Any ideas how to fix or mitigate? Right now I've just set it up so that my computer never goes to sleep, but that doesn't seem like a good idea for the longevity of my parts. A separate but possibly related issue is that every time I try to set my G9 to 240hz on the OSD (with the nipple on the bottom of the monitor) it goes black and tries to recover but it ends up blacking out the other 2 monitors as well, and then the system becomes unresponsive just like it was trying to wake itself up. This is what I've tried so far: - updated Motherboard Bios to latest non-beta version - updated ASUS VBios to latest version - updated to latest drivers/firmware from Nvidia and Samsung for the Graphics card and monitor respectively. - unintalled aforementioned nvidia driver with DDU in safe mode to install a hotfix driver 456.98 that sorta works but only with just the G9, once the other monitors get plugged in, all 3 go black and flicker like before. *when I uninstall or reinstall drivers I turn my home network into a metered connection (I'm on wifi) and turn off windows update's ability to download stuff over metered connections. to prevent it from trying to insert a windows driver while I'm reinstalling graphics drivers. - reinstalled newest nvidia driver - Added TDRLevel and TDRDelay entries in registry, no effect. - swapped DP Cables for Amazon DP 1.4 cables where applicable, issue remained, so I went back to the stock cable that came with G9. Asus Monitors on random HDMI-HDMI and DP-HDMI (because it flickers at 60hz due to weird DSC Issues) cables that worked from previous rig. So Asus monitors are both receiving into HDMI inputs, not sure if that matters. - Swapped GPU For a Zotac trinity 3090 - reinstalled windows - swapped ram for another Corsair LPX kit - reset Bios to optimized defaults from a minor OC I did. Issue persists through all of these attempts. So far, my guess is that it's something about the drivers or power delivery that isn't giving the GPU enough juice to kick in when the monitors all wake back up and it just freezes under the wright of the load it's trying to pull. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Do I have a bad panel? Still within return window for the G9 so I might try to swap it if that's the case. If it is an issue with the GPU driving 5120x1440 @ 240hz and 2 1440p 60hz, could I just get a mobo with graphics outputs and just hook up my ASUS monitors to those and keep the G9 on the 3090 dedicated GPU? Do Mobo Bios's still let you use both integrated and discrete graphics simultaneously?

When I first received the laptop, I decided to clone the OS from the HDD to the SSD using the Samsung software. I also bought a Crucial ramstick for dual channels, but it runs at 2400 instead of the advertised 2666mhz that my Samsung stick runs at. Not sure if that could be a potential problem. It has crashed numerous of times throughout the year, so I was wondering if you guys can offer me any help. It would be greatly appreciated. I'll also include an image file with some information that Whocrashed has provided me with. My PC lately has been forming a habit of randomly freezing and then restarting itself. When this occurs I typically hear a buzzing noise in my headset for the 5-10 seconds it is frozen until it restarts. The confusing part is that it always just restarts straight to windows and never blue screens. It seems like it happens more often when gaming but I feel like I recall it happening while just being in discord as well. At first I thought PSU because I was running an overclocked 9600k and a 5700xt on a Corsair CX500 but I just bought a Corsair RMx850 and it is still doing it. If it helps, system specs are: 9600k OC'd to 5GHz (I have tried turning off overclock and it didnt fix the issue) Gigabyte Z390M Mobo 16gb ram 5700xt Corsair RMx 850 Any suggestions as to what the problem could be would be great. Thanks

For the past few days I have been having back to back crashes in Day Z and Second Life. I am not sure what has been causing the issue but I am seeing several Application Hangs and LiveKernelEvents popping up on the event manager when these crashes happen. I was going to see if anyone could help me make sense of the information with the event viewer and actually solve the issue at hand. Hi everyone! I am having an issue with my RAM. I'm currently using 4x8GB, all sticks meant for 3600MHz. So when changed my bios to make them run at 3600MHz my games started to crash at startup which is quiet frustrating. I now lowered it to 3200MHz and I didn't have any crashes yet. I did pay more for the 3600MHz tho so I'd like to use it too. Anyone who knows how to fix this? I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X cpu and an MSI mpg x570 gaming edge wifi mobo which supports up to 4400MHz. Thank you in advance for trying to help!

- AMD 2700x - 16GB ddr 4 ram - 980 ti - Rog strix b450 f gaming - corsair cx 750 I noticed my computer keep crashing while playing games. Initially I thought it was the new NVidia drivers so I switched them to an old version but that didnt help. I did a cpu stress test and it was fine but the gpu one failed when the gpu reached around 100% load. I used compressed air to clean the inside of my pc but that didnt change anything. The gpu is a couple years old but was working fine until a week ago. Kinda freaking out any help would really be appreciated. For the crash both my monitors turn a different color and then go black and give no input and the lights on my keyboard and mouse turn off.

Alright so there's a bit to this issue (or at least I think there is) and I'm getting a little desperate for a solution. I've taken to reddit, microsoft pages and all sorts and nothing has helped. My games keep freezing on startup. I've tested out Modern Warfare, Genshin Impact and Destiny 2 and each of them will last a second or less before becoming unresponsive (in the case of Genshin impact) or just totally freezing. I'm running a Ryzen 5 3600 non-overclocked, RX 580, 16 Gb of 3200 Mhz RAM and all my drivers are completely up to date. I've tried running a sfc /scannow and it found a corrupted file and fixed it but apparently that was a whole other issue. I've even tried turning it off and on again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games and you get the idea. I'll also note that games like Terraria, Portal 2 and Minecraft are still functioning perfectly and at max capacity (so none of my hardware is impacting anything). So maybe there's a correlation between errors in newer games or engines compared to old ones? idk im just grabbing at straws here! Please help -You don't get to know my real name so Arctic

No matter what program it is (discord, edge, games, steam) they have a problem with crashing. This is all new since I updated the hardware in the PC. Asrock z690 Extreme 12600kf 4 DIMMs 8GB corsair vengeance rgb (the ram is two slightly mismatching sets, same specs, ones just newer than then the other) STRIX 2060S and a plethora of random hard drives At first I thought the problem was the data I left on the old drives corrupted the C: drive so I reinstalled windows and it didn't help. Then my next thought was to reset my PC so i tried that but it got stuck on 8%. yet alas I reset my pc by using a boot drive and windows setup to format all of my drives then installed windows 10 only to have it bsod when trying to install the motherboard drivers. PLEASE HELP, i just wanna play games man.

I've been experiencing Gpu crashes on games like OW 2, fortnite and bonelab with my 6750xt i just got 2 days ago. These are my specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X GPU: AMD RX 6750-XT SSD: Intel 660p NVMe PCIe M.2 1TB SSD: Kingston SA400S37960G 960GB RAM: G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3600 C16 2x16GB MBD: Gigabyte GA-B550M DS3H PSU: evga 80 bronze 650 watt Here are the things that i tried to no avail. I reinstalled display drivers with ddu and with the factory install. I tried a few drivers like the latest one the professional one and the recommended one, also one in between. I tried undervolting, also doesnt work. When it crashes it freezes the sound and screen and then reboots my pc. Also when it crashes my cpu/gpu loads are under 80% and under 90°. Do you guys have any tips for me?

Lately I've noticed that many of the games I play that are memory-intensive would keep crashing unless I restarted Windows. However I have noticed that when purging the cached memory using a program called "Intelligent Standbylist Cleaner" helps the games start up again... but not for long. Could this be a memory issue? And why is it fixed by simply restarting?

Hi Everybody, I have a problem with my GPU Sapphire Nitro+ 6900xt, that crashes in stress situations (and not only). I just built a new pc, and every piece is new, at the end of the message you can find my config. So to go more in details, I was trying to simply benchmarck the card with Heaven, and I did not seem to have encouraging results. I was initially having troubles in doing it in every setting except at low quality, where it went smoothly. As soon as I put the settings up to medium, the screen would go black after few minutes and the whole computer rebooted. I tried to remove drivers with UDD and then I installed them again and I connected the GPU to the PSU via three different cables (before there were two cables only), and after these changes nothing different happened, the GPU was still rebooting the whole PC when set on medium quality; however, for whatever reason, after few hours I tried again (changing nothing) and it eventually seemed to be able to run a benchmark with either low and extreme quality. The average quality is ok, apart from the fact that at some stages the screen becomes completely black and once is on again, the benchmarking is still going while the whole AMD program crashes. From times to times I also seem to get BSOD with different errors every time. I then tried to play a simple videogame, which only required around 50% GPU but the game caused a crash of the whole pc again. I don’t understand what kind of problem could be, and it is so frustrating, what would you suggest me to do to try and fix it? I have a Gigabyte b450m DS3H motherboard which already had 2 ram slots which are not working properly. The 2 slots that I use have worked without errors. I recently upgraded my cpu from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 7 5700x. My motherboard was updated to support the new cpu beforehand and had worked with the 2600 cpu for a long time. Now I have the new 5700x cpu installed and my pc randomly started freezing up completely to where I have to reset my pc manually or let it reset itself after a good while. I now disabled the XMP profile for my memory (G.skill Aegis 2x8gb 3000 mhz) and is now running at 2133mhz and hasn't crashed yet....its only been like 2 days so far. I have read that the Radeon software for the GPU caused similar issues to someone else so they downgraded to the 22.5.1 version I believe. The crashes/freezing would happen during load. It froze twice with Marauders, twice in Hunt:Showdown, and once during a live stream using OBS. All I see when the PC freezes is the last frame shown to me, I can't move anything or hear anything, also no BSOD. I checked Event Viewer but I couldn't tell what was causing an issue. I have also checked my SSD health and everything seems fine. Update: So I had been noticing WHEA errors and how they were very common in Ryzen 5000 CPUs. I am now attempting to turn off Core Performance Boost (CPB) in the BIOS because it was set to Auto by Default. I am not sure how to diagnose this issue. I am new to the PC world, and I have been learning as I go. I recently purchased a PC off of eBay, hardware specs are listed down below. My PC seems to crash when I am running any type of game. I have tried it with Destiny 2, Hunt Showdown, Overwatch 2, Fortnite, COD MW2, Alien Isolation, etc. When watching the graphics card usage on my task manager, I noticed that it would shoot down to 0% usage then spike to 100% and crash the game to my desktop. The previous owner said he had a similar issue, but fixed it when he had set the ram to the correct speed. I have tried to do that as well, and then proceeded to get bluescreens until I lowered the speed to around ~3400mhz. I am not sure what else to do, as I have updated the BIOS, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers manually, and I am reaching the limit of my knowledge. Any help would be appreciated at this point. Parts list: - AMD B450 Tomahawk MAX - Ryzen 5 2600 - XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT Thicc 3 - 16gb (2x 8gb) ddr4 3600 G-Skill Ripjaws - 2TB Samsung 980 SSD - Seasonic Focus GX-650 (650 watts) 80plus gold - NZXT H510 w/ 4 pre installed fans

Hello to everyone, so to explain my issue the best way i can: Since recently my pc has been freezing every 16 min or so, with a blue screen or just an overall freeze. This happens wheter i am doing some heavy gaming or not. From my research i found out that maybe the memory controller of my cpu doesn't fully support my ram, and that may be the cause. Although i have been having this setup for 2 years and added the extra 2 sticks of ram only 1 year ago. I also get plenty of visual artifacts like the one in the picture posted below. The system crashes wheter i have XMP enabled or not, even if i use the minimum frequency allowed. I will post my configuration: windows 10 64 bit CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x Gpu: Nvidia RTX 2070 Super Ram: G.Skill Trident Z F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC 3600 MHz, (it's 4 sticks of Ram, 8 GB per stick) Mobo: MSI Unify X570 PSU : Corsair HX750i

So resently I built my first pc and was quite happy with the performance until tried heavy gaming on it and met constant crashing into desktop (and, rarely, bluescreens). I am quite frustrated with it including how much this build cost and so i read a lot of papers about troubleshooting but couldnt make it properly runing. Here's are my specs: motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI CPU: AMD ryzen 7 5700x RAM: Kingston FURY beast 2x8GB ddr4-3200 mhz SSDs: 1st my old ssd taken from old (and very weak) prebuilt for 128 gb. 2nd is new Crucial bx500 1tb ssd GPU: GIGABYTE rtx 3070 gaming oc 8g power supply: 750W gigabyte 80+ gold Its not thermals, all temperatures are lying below 70 degrees. when i just built pc i downloaded all the drivers for gpu, amd cpu socket, and motherboard (including bios) tried also a bunch of desperate methods which changed nothing as expected. games that i tested: Just cause 4 - crash Watch dogs - crash Fortnite - crash dota 2 - crash cyberpunk - crash csgo - no crash enter the gungeon - no crash I can obviously see that crashing gpu heavy games, so i'm pretty sure something is wrong with my 3070. My another thought is that something wrong with windows as i just took old drive from my old pc and put it in new one without reinstalling anything, but idk how it works. Any help would be appreciated as i'm really desparate due to cost of this rig.
