Hello, I am planning to have my system watercooled and was planning to go with PrimoChill CTR Phase II D5 Enabled for my pump/res combo. As far as aesthetics is concerned, I would like to have a cover kit (Example: EK Cover Kit, BitsPower Mod Kit) over the ugly D5 base but I am not sure if it will fit, I tried searching through dozens of results on google but to no avail. It would really help if anyone could give some insight about it.

I was looking at NZXT cases one day and I stumbled upon their H440's psu shroud. I thought It looked really cool so I looked around to see if there were any other cases that have a psu cover. I created this topic to see if any of you guys make or know someone who makes psu shrouds. I looked on mod bunkers website and saw that they were out of stock.(http://modbunker.com/shop/custom-products/power-supply-cover/) So I am now looking for an alternative. I am using the CM Storm Stryker case and plan to buy the psu cover from them if possible. Thank You!!!

Hi! So I bought my GTA V about a week ago and today I noticed that it has german text on the back. If any of you have a PS4 version of the game in English and a good scanner, can you slip the cover out and scan it and send it here. Thanks! KIWY

I got my cover around September from the Nvidia website. About a week ago, I noticed that the "hinges" started to develop some cracks (which eventually chipped off) that look like they are from stress related to opening and closing the cover. You can see in the pictures where it chipped. You can also see the paint rubbing off from using the cover as a stand. The "SHIELD" lettering has rubbed off half way and you can see the white of the unpainted plastic to either end of the plastic median. Here's the how a new one looks like (photo source: http://www.technobuffalo.com/reviews/nvidia-shield-tablet-review-yep-this-is-the-best-android-tablet-available/): I already had the cover separate itself from the piece that attaches it to the tablet. It was fairly easy to attach back, but it's still kind of worrisome.

So I've been researching a potential project to improve the looks of my case a bit, inspired by my discovery of a (now ancient) thread by forum user Zesti and his "Project Zoe" build, which I highly recommend if you haven't seen it. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/8039-project-zoe/ One thing he did that I absolutely love, besides all of it, is the custom cover for his motherboard, as it really cleans up the look of the build, and as someone with an admittedly ugly-as-sin motherboard (ASRock X58 Extreme) this appeals to me. The only issue I can forsee for me (I've checked everything else, the prices for everything I want is well within budget, it looks to be a sub-$50 project) is cooling. It is an older motherboard, from when they still had separate north and south bridges. I'm concerned that if I cover up the short heatsink over my southbridge, I'll have to worry about cooling, but I'm also wondering if leaving it uncovered would change much at all, as the heat sink wouldn't be very exposed to the airflow in my case anyways. So, are south bridges known to get warm? Should I leave it open to be safe? Am I being paranoid? Am I asking too many questions? Please let me know what you guys think, Atomiku P.S. I'm thinking a nice thin sheet of Aluminum with a carbon fiber vinyl wrap on it would look just stunning in my case, fingers crossed!

So we all know that protecting our screens is important...But I think that the screens on mobile devices are good enough to not get damaged if you just use your fingers or maybe a stylus on them, the only things that can really damage them are let's say things in your pocket/purse/ect. like keys. So if you have a cover over your device (like in the pics below) is it still a good idea to get a screen protector? I mean sure it doesn't hurt just to be safe, but ''good'' screen protector can cost quite a lot, and the foils and the cheap ones just don't have that nice feel when your using them... So what are your guys thoughts? I recently started thinking this, because I am buying a tablet and I'm gonna have a cover for it, so I didn't really know if I should get the screen protector or not.

I just ordered a K70 off of Amazon, and I might want to take it to and from work everyday and so I was wondering if there was any 1st or 3rd party accessory that acts a cover for the keys/keyboard to protect them from damage if I put the keyboard in my backpack or something similar? Thanks.

I have a MSI R9 280X Gaming 3G Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 (V277-057R) that I have been using for mining and I want to put it in a gaming pc. It's quite loud and I want to watercool it. The problem is that is has a non-reference PCB. I would like to know if there is any full cover block for this card. I looked on EK's cooling configurator and they don't have a waterblock for it. Thanks in advance!

I saw someone make an I/O cover and I want to know if they are safe? More to the point will it spontaneously combust. Here is the one I made:

I built my first build some months ago and it doesn't look really good down with psu. So I am thinking about making a psu cover. What is the best method and material for this? Bending metal or gluing together some black acrylic? Thanks

Hey guys! I've got a budget build here with a Palit 560Ti(reference card), a gigabyte B75M-D3H motherboard and a 2500K at stock clock with a stock cooler in a NZXT Gamma case. I want to go for a yellow and black build since my 560Ti has a similar color scheme. The problem I have is the motherboard has the sad light blue and white gigabyte color scheme.Since I can't afford to get a new ASRock black and yellow Z77 now I thought why not make a motherboard cover for it similar to whats on the Sabertooth Z77.I have seen some people make custom covers but have no idea how to get started. My main doubts are: How do i mount the cover on top of the motherboard? The VRM on my mobo doesn't have a heatsink on it so do i need to make a custom one? I plan to put some LED strips around the acrylic sheet and cover it with carbon fibre(fake) wrap and make thin slits on the carbon fibre so the light from the leds shine throgh and it look's like glowing traces on a PCB.Is this even possible? Any help is much appreciated guys! Thanks!

Hi! Well... Couple weeks ago I ruined my HTC One M7 by driving over it with an ATV (phone fell out of my pocket and under the wheel). The screen was cracked, but working, case was bent a little and I had to make decision to buy new phone or fix old one. So i decided to repair the phone. Maybe someone gets some inspiration or hope from my video. Total cost was 90€ (including tools). I also made video of the progress: All the best Mart

Does anyone know where I can get a slide cover for the tegra note 7 in the UK? The staff in Currys and PC world seemed clueless(no surprise) when I asked them about it. I just bought the tablet as a Christmas present for my dad and would like to get the slide cover for him as well.

So I just ordered a white NZXT H440, and I think it would look SOOOOOOO good to have my RAM match the color of my case. I wish I could have gotten the white HyperX Fury, but I got a reallly good deal on ADATA XPG 1.0 RAM, so I went with that. It has a black PCB, which will go perfect with the black and white theme of my build. But, the cover/heatspreader on it is black. Would there be a way that I can remove this cover and paint it white?

Hey guys! I recently made a PSU/hard drive cover/shroud, and I wanted to share it with everyone, as well as tell you how I did it so maybe some of you can make one too. It is actually really simple, and it only cost me around $20 total. This price will differ depending on where you live. What you will need: > Sheet of thin metal > Spray paint for metal surfaces (choose your color scheme) > Painters tape (choose your sizes/design) > Ruler > Sand paper How to: Step 1. Go to your local hardware store and buy all of the materials you need. While you're there, have them bend and cut a sheet of thin metal following the measurements you made. Rub the outer surface of the metal with fine sand paper to help the paint adhere. Step 2. Clean off the surface of the metal and apply your first layer of paint. The color you choose will later be the contrast color of the completed piece. Spray the paint on very lightly and go slow. Rushing it will only cause your final piece to not turn out as nice. Do about 6 passes then let it dry for 4-5 hours (depending on the outside temperature; hotter air dries it faster.) Step 3. After the first coat it fully dried (I waited a whole night, just let it sit in the house,) check if the paint is see through. You might need to do another coat of that color if it isn't thick enough. If it IS thick enough, and dry, tape off the design you want. You can see mine at the bottom of this post. Step 4. Apply your second coat of paint. This color will be the main color of the piece, unless of course you are doing more than 2 coats, which in that case just repeat step 2. Let this coat completely dry and cure a little bit (about a day) and then peel off the tape. Now you should have a nice clean line around your design, and it will look great if you did it properly! Step 5. Put the finished shroud in place in your PC. You can use sticky side velco to fasten it, or just place it in there tightly like I did. Now you have a sharp looking shroud to boost the aesthetics of your rig as well as hide any cables or drives. Step 6. Take some nice pictures and post them in this thread! Here is my before and after shots! BEFORE AFTER Thanks for checking out my simple PSU shroud "how-to!"

I am currently using Value Series RAM (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231424G.SKILL). I was purchasing these memory plates (http://www.xs-pc.com/waterblocks-other/universal-memory-side-plate-twin-set) from XSPC and running them without water, just to clean up the aesthetics of the RAM. Would it be feasible to use these as heat spreader without a block, or do you think that would cause heat issues? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Computer specifications: Case: corsair 750d (has 3 AF140 case fans - 2 in front, 1 in back) Processor: i5 2320 with stock cooler GPU: EVGA 770 4gb superclocked with acx cooler MOBO: stock dell mobo from an inspiron 620 RAM: 6 gb of samsung PSU: Corsair RM750 Problem: gets waaaaay too loud Happened when I got the new case, gpu, and psu. Revs up tremendously loud. One thing that may be causing this is that I have only 2 case fans connected right now(top one in front and the back) when the 750d is designed to use all 3 case fans it came with. Also the 750d has the top vent. This allows the noise to escape the case very easily. Could I possibly cover this up without damaging the components of my computer? I guess i just dont understand what could be causing this the AF140 fans are said to be "quiet" and the power supply is said to be "quiet". And I don't doubt these statements but for me something isn't right here.... My computer fans just get way too loud. ------ could more fans be the answer???? Any thoughts are appreciated. I know I might not be too clear right now but any help is appreciated. If you have questions please ask. I usually take my time on these posts but right now I just need some opinions on what could cause this noise. I don't even know where to begin.....

So recently I've got myself an ipad air. I'm looking for a cover, but the problem is, I can't really find something which has at the very least some positive reviews. I've looked at this: http://www.prispresseren.dk/mobil-tilbehor/apple-tilbehor/ipad-air/ipad-air-ipad-5-360-roterende-lader-flip-cover-med-elastisk-balte-sort does that seems alright? Please help me, all suggestions are very very welcome! :-)
