So I'm finally upgrading my rig from an i7 6700k to the Ryzen 5800x. Microcenter has a great deal on them right now. So I've only ever cooled my cpus with aios but since dummy me lost the other mounting hardware for the current aio I'm left SOL. So I'm wanting to give air cooling a try does anyone hAve any recommendations that won't break the bank?

Hello all, After doing much (hours and hours) of research, I just can't seem to choose a cooler for my Ryzen 5 5600x. My choices have come down to the SE-225-XT, the Esports 34 Duo or the Pure Rock 2. Initially, I was looking at something like the NH-D15, but I realized I didn't need that much performance. I won't be doing any OC, but I want to be able to reach the max boost speeds on the CPU without going over around 80C on max load. With the stock cooler, my CPU goes up to 95C playing games, so I really need a solution ASAP. Part of the issue is poor ventilation in my room as well as 105F California weather, but ideally it wouldn't exceed 80 max at full boost and load while also being quieter than stock. I would prefer under $50 and availability from Amazon, but I am open to other options. Any help would be very appreciated! My PCPartPicker list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ytwDGq

So I upgraded my CPU from a ryzen 1700 to a ryzen 3900x. In the process I also switched to an aio water cooler. Oddly two of my ram sticks no longer work (maybe this is unrelated). In windows I don't see any audio outputs, I can see hdmi or camera/mic (USB) outputs but no headphone or microphone outputs. I have installed latest chipset drivers, I updated my bios to the latest version before switching my cpu, I installed latest realtek drivers and I reset my cmos. Is there anything else I should try before resetting windows 10 or buying a soundcard. My motherboard is AB350 Gaming 3. Thanks for any help! :)

Is there any good cpu coolers for cheap? Im using aamd ryzen 5 3600 cpu and the stock cooler.

Hey guys I wan to upgrade the cooler of my ryzen 5 3600 from the stock cooler, as the title suggests I have a budget of 40-60usd. Based on the research that I have done scythe fuma 2 seems to be a great cooler choice but unfortunately it costs a lot here in my country (Philippines) it costs around 60-70USD. AIOs and Air Coolers are all welcome suggestions. Thank you!

Hi, I am going to upgrade my CPU, motherboard and AIO cooler and i want to make sure that everything will work together. The CPU i am using is a ryzen7 3700x, The motherboard I am using is the Gigabyte B550M AORUS PRO-P micro ATX and the cooler I am using is the Artic liquid freezer || (120mm) I think the cooler should be ok to handle the CPU temps but I am a little concerned about motherboard and cooler clearance issues. Thanks.

Ok guys so I built my pc and got everything working but it’s literally killing me because I can’t play it, I have a master liquid 240ml v2 rgb and my cpu is reaching 90 degrees, if I left it on I’m sure it would keep rising till I don’t have a cpu, ive tried re applying thermal paste and changing positions on the aio, I have it top mounted, the pump is well below the radiator, I don’t wanna front mount it because I don’t know how to take the front panel off, I’m bout to go to geek squad if I can’t figure this out and get charged like 400 for them to replace a cooler lmao help me please

Hello everyone. I am using Zotac RTX2060 Mini. I have a problem with the heatsink. I removed the thermal paste and pads of the gpu to renew it. However, the surface that corresponds to the VRM part and that I marked in the photos is out of place. They normally glued the part where we place the Thermal Pad to the aluminum heatsink. But when I removed the card, that part came out. What can I paste it back there with? What heat resistant would you recommend I use glue? So I need a heat resistant adhesive that will bond metal to metal. Which adhesive should I use? I would be very happy if you give me an idea.

I'm looking to upgrade my old desktop, an Acer Predator G3-605 (pretty old). I already have my eyes set of what RAM, CPU and GPU to buy but I'm wondering what CPU cooler and fans I should get too. Thanks.

I'm wanting to install the 240mm AIO water cooler into this CASE and AM4 MOBO. Comp CASE - CORSAIR CARBIDE 275R Computer Case Motherboard(AM4) - GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING I am close to buying this model cooler... ARCTIC COOLING Liquid Freezer II - 240mm ACFRE00046A Multi Compatible All-In-One CPU Water Cooler (Amazon $86.99) To be installed on an AMD computer. I have decided to install the RAD to the top. If the top is the best position, I need to know one simple thing. BTW, I've heard30-40 different answers and I really need not just an answer but a little explanation as to why it is Pump or RAD 1st? Question:- Do I first install the water pump onto the CPU or do I install the Radiator on top First? Another Question, Do I install the Pump outside the Case....Outside the Case for RAD also...But the length of water lines don't seem long enough to do this? THANK YOU so much for you knowledge and time.

Budget (including currency): Country: Argentina Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 3d modeling (poly, cad and nurbs), 3d rendering, gaming, Vr etc Other details im building a new pc, so far iv bought the motherboard, the case, the cpu & the cooler, so im almost there, im going to use mi existing storage for the time being but i am planing in buying a m.2 nvme module and another sata ssd im using my old GPU until the whole gpu market is somewhat more stable and prices are somewhat near msrp CPU: AMD 5900x Cooler: bequiet! Dark rock 4 Motherboard: ASUS TUF gaming x570 plus wifi Case: bequiet! Silent base 802 So i'm having an issue with ram clearance, i'm planning on a 2x16gb of 3200 ram setup but im worried the ram clearance is too tight, or might not fit at all, according to the MOBO manual when running a 2 module configuration only the second and last ram sockets counting from the cpu socket outward are used, which gives me some extra room, as the ram module would be further away from the cooler. The ram clearance stated in the bequiet product site is 40mm to the radiator & 23.15 to the fan. I can place the fan higher but i'm still not sure if i'm getting enough space. Anyway, my 2 candidates are either the corsair vengeance modules(34mm) or the g.skill trident Z rgb modules (44mm) of curse the trident z are taller but i think they would look great just to add a little rgb flair to my build due to the fact that all my other components are rather plain, im planning a black & white build so both could work fine black corsairs or white rgb lit trident z. Sorry for the long post. Would appreciate some tips, insights or any kind of help.

Hello, I bought graphics card and CPU cooler from my friend who smokes on regular basis. Now I want to clean metal part of graphics card cooler and GPU cooler (Strix GTX 1080Ti and Nocotua NH-D15). I don't smoke but my room smells like burnt cigarettes. As far as I can see on the internet, washing the PC components has become normal. My previous experience is not good. Few years ago I washed the CPU cooler and it became rusty. Can anyone tell me what is the correct and safe way to wash the coolers mentioned above?

Hello, I'm currently using the AMD Wraith Stealth cooler in my itx build. I want my CPU to boost to it's max speeds for more FPS in my CPU bound games but I don't think that will be possible if I stick with the Wraith Stealth (currently at 3.8-3.9 GHz). My case supports up to 73mm coolers. What coolers do you guys recommend for my current build? I've been looking at the Noctua L9a but I am open to cheaper/better options.

Hey everyone, I came here hoping to get some help with my build, I built it around 3 months ago, ryzen 5 3500x with a kraken x53 cooler, GPU is a rx 5500 xt gaming x 8gb. I noticed that my idle temps were quite high, at first I noticed it around 39-45 Celcius. (CPU and GPU), sometimes even around 45-55 degrees for the CPU. these are all stock settings for both CPU and GPU. My case is the SSUPD Meshlicious, before that, I had a NZXT h210, same temps, my room is not hot, around 20-26 degrees. With this case I was actually expecting better temps since it has mesh side panels on almost all sides, I have a tempered glass panel for the CPU side since it has an AIO, I tried opening the panel for a bit, no changes. I tried stress tests for both CPU and GPU and highest temps are around 72 so that's good. Fan curve for rad fans is at 100%, pump is at 100% too. running a negative air pressure setup, tried reversing it, same thing. tried replacing thermal paste on the heatsink twice, same thing. all parts were bought no later than april of 2021. Can anyone help? thank you P.S. not sure if I posted this on the right place, kinda new to asking help in forums.

Before you post saying that the card is a fake here's a picture of the branded chip (zoom in). Hello everyone, I got this card for free from a buddy that does warranty for prebuilt pcs. He doesn't know from what specific prebuilt this is but there's a reddit post mentioning this card and a comment about it ( 1 ; 2 ) there's also an old ebay page for it ( 1 ) The GPU itself is working great but the temperatures are a bit too hot (even after changing the thermal paste). I'd like to get a third party GPU cooler but I'm not sure what would fit... I've seen people suggesting the Accelero III, NZXT G12 (which might need some modding), the MORPHEUS II or the id Cooling 120mm vga cooler for other blower style 2070's but no one seems sure if they fit or not. The problem that I see is the DVI shroud and that usually doesn't allow a good fit. Here's some pictures of the board when I changed it's thermal paste today ( 1 ) Hope you guys can help me since on reddit everyone just calls it fake and what not. I can also post a Userbench page to prove that it's working as expected and it's not a spoofed card. Thanks! PS: Maybe a video about these weird custom brand made prebuilt cards would be something interesting? PPS: I live in Canada

I'm currently looking to upgrade my cooling from a cpu fan to an AIO cooler. However, there are two issues that I've run into. I don't know if my case can fit a 280 mm on the top of the case (my case is a Fractal Meshify C while my motherboard is a MSI MPG Z490 GAMING CARBON WIFI LGA 1200). This is why I'm stuck between getting a 280mm and a 240mm. However this is my other issue, I don't know what are the best AIO's to get. I'm not interested in price since I'm willing to spend a good amount, I'm only interested in performance.
