Hello Peeps. I got some Deepcool ARGB casing fans from a Deepcool Mattrex case .But these fans have 3 pin JSTSM connector and I wasn't provided any converter. So is there any way to use ARGB on these fans without any converter/hub/ splitter? live in a kind of remote area so hard to get anything

Hi guys, could anyone spare me a Intel LGA 115x mounting bracket and screws for this Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF(1)??? i bought this to a person, sadly I thought there was a mounting kit for LGA 115x because the seller did not said the details very well. if u guys dont have one, is there anyway to get it? I have an Enermax StarryFort SF30 case, an ASRock B450 Steel Legend motherboard, and 4 sticks of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM. The last time I purchased a cooler for my PC (a Noctua NH-D15), it turned out to be excessively large. Therefore, I'm seeking advice on which cooler to get for my PC that also fits within the following dimensions: - RAM height: 51mm - Max cooler height: 157mm Additionally, the cooler needs to be strong enough to effectively cool my Ryzen 9 5950X processor. UPDATE: SOLVED! the 24 pin cable from the pump to the commander core wasn't seated properly. Thank you so much to everyone who replied This is my first PC build so apologies if I'm missing something obvious For starters, here's my parts list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/znzDkJ Relevant parts (I assume) are intel i7-13700k, MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard, GameMax GX Pro Rampage 1050 Power Supple, and Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT 65.57 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler PC will boot up fine, all fans including the ones on the cooler seem to be running, but cpu temps quickly rise to the point where I get a warning in about 5 minutes and then I have to shut it off. Because of this, I havent been able to install windows yet and use iCue software to help diagnose problems with the cooler. BIOS is also showing fan speed is at 0 despite the fact that pump tach header is plugged into CPU_Fan1 on the MB. I've reseated the cooler a few times, the pre-installed thermal paste looks like it's distributed fine. Diagnosing is hard because again, I get so little on-time before I have to shut it off Additionally, turning the PC on will trip the breaker in my office about 2 out of every 3 times; this room is drawing a fair amount of power as-is, so I assumed that was all it was, but now I'm concerned I've wired something wrong and the CPU is drawing way too much power, causing both issues Would love some thoughts as to where I should be looking, my apologies if I failed to include any relevant information. Im currently building a PC, and I was testing it when I realized that the CPU debug was not on and it would not boot to BIOS. I tried reseating twice, and changing CMOS battery, but to no avail. Every components fan spins, and when I took off the cooler I wanted to see if anything would happen, and it instantly turned on, turned off, turned back on, and then booted to BIOS. I instantly turned it off as to not overheat the CPU, but I am extremely lost as to why this is the cooler causing it to not boot. Please help, this is my first build and it is very weird. -
Hey guys, Ive been rocking my Ryzen 9 7950X for the past year. I bought a NZXT Kraken Z Series Z73 360mm AIO and the performance is not what I was hoping for. Is there a better cooler I should invest in or should I try to undervolt/ mess with Ryzen master? I've tried to use Ryzen Master before but couldn't quite get a handle on it. Any advice would be great! thank you!

Hey everyone, I hope all is well. I am upgrading my CPU and Mobo to the i5 12600K and MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk D4. This will be paired with the GTX 1070 (which will be upgraded in the future), 16GB DDR4 3600Mhz RAM and a 750W power supply. I will also need to purchase a new CPU cooler as my current one won't fit (PCPARTPICKER said so). I have three questions - should I get a liquid or air cooler for this rig, and which one? And lastly, does anyone see any issues I need to consider before purchasing the new CPU and motherboard? Cheers! Thanks a lot

So I bought a new cooler for my pc since I got a case that supports up to 240m instead of the 360m I had so I got the DeepCool LS520 SE and was putting it together last night for a 1151 socket build (i7 8700k) and noticed a connector I never seen the 5v 3 pin rgb thing apparently. My motherboard does not have this connector just a 12v 4 pin, is this 5v 3 pin what powers the pump? Cause I connected everything just like the instructions except the 3 pin and the pump isn't turning on but all the fans are working properly but the cpu temp was steadily climbing in the bios and said no cpu fan detected

Hello! I've been dealing with a frustrating issue involving my AIO fans creating a jackhammer-like noise specifically at 2122 RPM. Despite my efforts to address the problem, I haven't found a solution yet. [ICUE H100i Elite CAPELIX XT] Here's what I've tried: 1. Initially, I thought the screws might be too tight, so I loosened them a bit, but that didn't help. 2. I attempted to tweak the fan curves in ICUE, but it's not practical because the RPMs won't just skip over 2122, making it challenging to find a solution through software adjustments. 3. I also checked for any physical obstructions, even though it seems odd that the noise only occurs at 2122 RPM. I suspect there might be a specific frequency produced by the fans at 2122 RPM, causing resonance in the computer and creating an annoying vibration. Any advice or insights on how to address this issue would be greatly appreciated! P.S. Disregard the dust on the screen; it's only visible to the camera. Rest assured, I'll clean it before it poses any inconvenience to my eyes. XD 20231212_010016.mp4 -
Is the Phantom Spirit 120 SE capable of cooling the 7900X under multi core workload? Some tests conclude that most air coolers can't keep the 7900X under 95C while others recommend coolers like the Dark Rock 4 Pro and AK620 and the PS120SE seems to be close to them in cooling performance overall. -

Im trying to build a new pc and with these atrocious 4090 prices and near volcanic heat of the i9 14900k im trying to save money and get the best aio. Im looking at the Corsair iCUE H170i Elite LCD XT. It's like $310 USD on corsair but amazon has a like new for $200. Should I get it, will it be fine or should I just sell out the extra $100?

I used my Corsair H60 AIO for more than 8 years in different Systems. Recently the pump stopped while in use and tripped the temp limit on my CPU. While i was able to unclogg it by tapping on it I took it as a sign to finally upgrade. Later i took the AIO apart and got some interesting pictures of what happens with an AIO after such a long time that i wanted to share. (Dear God i didnt upgrade a second too early) First of all the coolant i drained Lots of piece in there, probably some kind of corrosion/abrasion, not good On top of the copper heat spreader was this rubber part (from the inside). Normally there is a gap in the middle of this part where the pump pushes the coolant trough, to get to the finns. Its completly clogged with sludge. Probably made the pump struggle a lot. Now to the main part, the copper plate. How? At this point i was realy suprised that this AIO worked at all. All the channels and the middle where the pump pushes coolant trough are completly stuck with sludge. I guess AIO arent meant to be used that long? I could have kept using it by sometimes tapping on the cover, but taking it apart made me glad i upgraded. this isnt to rip on corsair, just thought this was interesting and wanted to share.

the kraken elite 280 Is on sale for $200 when it's usually $250 on multiplr websites like amazon, newegg etc. do you think this is the lowest a kraken elite will get for a while? should I buy now or wait for a 360mm to go on sale. I know there are similar options for cheaper but I love the screen.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already bought the Intel Core i7-13700K, Asus PRIME Z790-P, G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory as part of the MicroCenter bundle. I had also bought the Corsair RM850x (2021) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply, the Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Video Card, and Samsung 980 M.2 SSD. I'm just unsure on the case/cooling. I was considering an NZXT H5 Flow for the case but wasn't sure about the CPU cooler (if it's better going for an air cooler or an AIO) and what cooler would fit (physically and what would be good for the 13700K.

Upgrading GPU and CPU: Strix RX480 8GB OC > > > TUF RX7800XT Ryzen 7 2700X > > > Ryzen 9 5900X 16GB DDR4 > > > 32GB DDR4 (Kingston Fury) (x2 sticks) Looking for a good cooler (without breaking the budget) for the Ryzen 9 5900X, currently using an LC Power LC-CC-95 for the Ryzen 7 2700X and it's been doing a good job for it's price (35-41C idle > 50-55C gaming > 75-86C 3D rendering, 3D modelling, 2D graphics...), but it's probably not a good choice for a 5900X under heavy workload. I'm interested in opinions and/or suggestions/recommendations, I've picked out a few coolers that fit my budget. Looking at tests even on Ryzen 7000 series the temps seem ok , but I'm also interested in the quality and reliability of these coolers (a broken cooler won't cool ). Current case is a Fractal Design Define R4 (2x 140mm front intake, 1x 120mm rear exhaust, 1x 120mm floor intake). (with current lowest prices) - THERMALRIGHT Peerless Assassin 120 SE - 43 euros - CoolerMaster Masterair Ma612 Stealth - 54 euros - Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Se Argb - 56 euros - DEEPCOOL AK620 black - 72 euros - BE QUIET! Dark Rock Pro 4 - 74 euros Peerless Assassin 120 SE keeps good temps in some tests and it's the most budget friendly in the list, but if I can't rely on it's quality to survive the 5900X during heavy work it's probably worth paying more for one that can handle it. I'm also not a fan of cheap AIO's so it's why I'm mostly looking into air coolers, unless there's a reliable and overall good AIO in this price range. Thank you in advance

I have a simple question.. i watched some videos of 3060ti and 3070 teardown.. and in founder edition the heatsink and the pcb looks identical to me.. I bought a 3070 founder from my friend without its cooler (he was using it in his watercooled pc and lost the stock cooler) in a really good price.. it will ship to me in a week.. i have a dead 3060ti founders.. So can anyone confirm me if the cooler and heatsink is same on both cards? -
Just replaced my old crappy Cooler Master AIO with a dual fan AIO from NZXT, I bought the NZXT Kraken 240 to because my old AIO is failing. What's your thoughts on my new AIO, tell me your experiences with this model of AIO.

Hi So I have an old laptop that I still like to use, Its a Clevo W230SD (i7 4gen haswell,960m 2gb) and the max cpu that was sold was the i7 4910MQ 47W and I want to upgrade it to i7 4940MX 57W Do you think that the laptop heatsink will cool that ? (If not I want to try DYI moddified the heatsink so i dont think it will be problem in the future but I am still asking) ps: Any idea on DYI heatsing upgrads ? Hi, everyone! I made a post about my games stuttering/hitching way back in January of this year. My old post essentially was asking why my games were like that all of a sudden, and why I was getting CPU temps of 100 degrees plus by just idling on the desktop. I eventually came to the conclusion that my CPU was overheating (kinda obviously) with some help from people on the forums. But after putting some new thermal paste on the CPU and AIO cooler, my computer, and more importantly games, were noticeably running better. I was able to get my hands on an NZXT prebuild in June of 2020. Specs listed below: CPU: Intel Core i7 10700k GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Motherboard: Micro-Star International Co., LTD Z490-A PRO (MS-7C75) Ram: G.Skill F4-3200C16-8GTZR DDR4 x2 Storage: CT1000P1SSD8 Cooler: NZXT Kraken 120mm Case: NZXT H510i However, ever since the start of this summer, I've noticed that not only is the stuttering and inconsistent frame rates back, but also I'm lagging a lot so I reapplied thermal paste again which didn't seem to work this time which makes me believe that my AIO had failed or died. I researched about the Kraken 120mm and people said that it's not really that great of a cooler considering it's lifetime of about 2yrs or so. This leads me to ask: 1. If the Kraken did fail, then what is the best AIO cooler for my CPU and for my case size? 2. Do high CPU tempt affect wi-fi speeds? Any help or input would be appreciated! I am struggling over here. -.-

BUILD DETAILS: Ryzen 7 7800x3D MSI mag B650 tomahawk wifi NH-D15 chromax.black Deepcool matrexx 55 mesh Corsair 750i EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 Black 10GB G.SKILL Ripjaws S5 2x16gb ddr5-6000 My problem is that my cooler is about 1-2mm too tall with the second fan on and im wondering if the motherboard flex form that 1-2mm would be too much or if it would be "safe"?

PC specs: Ryzen 7 7800x3D Gigabyte x670 aorus elite ax. Bios: f10a Ram 64gb 2x32gb ddr5 corsair vengeance 5200mhz c40. Expo optimized 2tb ssd crucial p3 plus cooler: peerles assassin 120 4070 gigabyte windforce OC psu: corsair HX1000I A few I just mounted by myself this new pc for 3D intense work and some gaming. When I finished mounting I noticed that my cpu was not boosting all the way up to 5ghz and not even using so much energy. I got stuck at 4,8ghz at 0.9V 70W of ppt thermal throttling at 85 degrees celsius. That was strange so i thought that may be that i mounted wrong the cooler. So i remounted, repasted and everything still was the same. I am so concerned about this that i dont know what I have to do anymore. I spent 2 more days tweaking the BIOS, tweaking PBO and limitating the VSOC to 1.2v instead of 1.1v that it came from default but nothing changed at all. Current settings right now are this. PBO all core -20 PBO limits manual PPT 140 TDC 135 EDC 170 VSOC 1.2v Cinebench r23 17060 points all core during 10 minutes thermal throttling at 85 degress celsius

Hello everyone, I'm Ivan. I live in Italy, and in these days we are facing a very hot weather. My room reach 30°C (about 86°F) and my PC runs very hot. Well... Not very hot but hotter than when I have 20-22°C room temp. I'm a technician, and I change every month or so thermal paste on both CPU and GPU. Now, the GPU runs at 60-70°C depending on what type of games I'm playing, but the CPU on idle stays at 60°C, when in early June and before, on idle stayed at 40-45°C. So, here it is my question: I have an Arctic Freezer eSports 34 DUO. Could a Cooler Master AIO 120 lower my CPU temps? And maybe a little bit even my GPU's temps, since the AIO throws directly out of my case all CPU's heat... Thank you to whoever will answer!
