  1. Hi guys, I'm looking for a compact mechanical keyboard with a, specifically, spanish ISO layout. At first I thought of getting the WASD 62-key or the pok3r. The pok3r is technically cheaper but I would have to get spanish keycaps so they would be at about the same price (both shipped). But as you probably have guessed those two options are at a pretty steep price point (the WASD is almost 200 shipped). I'm planning to use on different computers with probably different language layouts. Is there any other alternatives? Things I would prefer but no limited to: - Cherry Blues - %60 size - Good build quality - Budget price (not to confuse with "cheap") Things I DON'T want: - To program the keyboard myself - Linear keys (but will consider if there is literally nothing else) Thanks!
  2. Hello guys! Im planing to built a pc in the Ncase and watercool it. But I've one problem:The reservoir What should I buy ? (Maybe Pump/res combo??) How should I mount it?(without very "big" modifications? I hope you can help me so I can finally order the parts and built it.
  3. Hello So this is my Sony Xperia Z3C, My baby is literally hold together by duck tape (http://prntscr.com/dinn4s). The duck tape is lossing grip and i don't know what device to buy, I'm thinking of the Sony Xperia XZ but i don't need dual-sim support. Not a big fan of Samsung, HTC and Huawaii. The Google Pixel is to expensive compared to the performance. Don't even think about a iPhone. I really don't know what phone to get myself, i don't care about the font-facing camera and a fingerprint sensor is nice but not necessary. Any suggestions?
  4. I've got a spare set of components that i wanna build with. But i can't find a case that i like the look of. So far the closest case to my liking is the Bitfenix Pandora, but it's riddled with problems and while i'm willing to mod a decent amount, idk if i'd wanna bother modding a case that essentially needs the mods to function as a proper case. in case you don't know what that is: I only need space for 1 GPU, and i'm all for going for an sfx PSU. Anyone got any other suggestions?
  5. I got this dell for Christmas, i was excited. i hooked it up and it ran like a dream. this computer is one of the last OEM computers that comes with windows 7. This model came with 16 GB of memory (DDR3), an Intel i7 6700 (not k), AMD Radeon HD R9 360 (2GB gddr5) (similar to Radeon R7 360), Dell motherboard with bulit-in WiFi and Bluetooth, 2TB 7200 RPM Segate Hard Drive, and a cheap laptop disk drive that forgets whats inside of it after a few minutes. i'll start with the os, it came with windows 7 pro, it booted in 15 seconds for a few days. dell gave me a copy windows 10 pro on disc if i wanted to upgrade. the video card is pretty good, it ran games on high settings without dropping to 40 fps. the first few days with the pc, the videocard made a heavy grinding sound but it went away. if your worried about temps, then you may need fan control from msi afterburner. i tried overclocking this puppy, but it never reached the higher MHz, i think the amd software doesn't want me to unofficially overclock. i dont know what to say about the i7, it never slowed down. yes this pc can handle 1080p 60fps youtube videos without temps getting hot. the videocard always gets hotter then the i7, but the i7 has a small cooler then the video-card. if you want to add a 2nd hard drive or disk drive, well you cant, unless you buy a new power suppy. the hard drive and disk drive run power from the motherboard, i find no other connectors on the power supply. the disk drive feels super fragile, you have to use both hands to insert a disk or you'll feel like your breaking the drive or bending the disc. if i played a movie then paused for a few minutes, the disk drive forgets what disc is inside of it. windows would always say "please insert a disc". to make the disk drive not forget, you have to make the disk drive active. it took 10 minutes for my pc to find the driver for the dell keyboard that came with the pc. the driver wasn't on dells website. you could only get through windows updates and at the time, windows updates was frozen. the hard disk was fast, i did research on these 7200 rpm hard drives, they say this hard drives are great for programs and operating systems but not great for storing large files. the pc came with 5.1 audio but you have to use the mic in and line in ports as rear speaker and sub-woofer/center ports. the maxxaudio manager made the speakers sound alot better, this was dell's custom version of realtek. if you have more than 1 monitor, the computer doesn't know which monitor is the primary and duplicates the image on all screens, if you boot into windows, then the screens become different. this computer was designed for people who want a powerful gaming pc in a compact case. in august my dad got this for $550 on the official dell website, he said he got a Hugh discount from the rewards program that he sign'ed up for. now this runs from $899 to $1199 on dells website. the prices change fast on this. if you want the amd videocard, you can find these cards on ebay for $70, used. the videocard gets power from the motherboard. im not sponsored by dell pc link: http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/productdetails/inspiron-3650-desktop/ddclot223b amd r9 360 2gb: goo.gl/NXvYwu amd r9 360 2gb specs: https://goo.gl/yCvDcR (click on 300 series) "view basic info" page: http://i.imgur.com/lY74pmJ.png windows experience index score: http://i.imgur.com/HcX14f4.png
  6. I'm looking for a prebuilt ITX machine for under 1500$ for graphic design. Any recommendations?
  7. Ok so basically... PC upgrade time. My plan is to switch up my very simple, boring, but pretty system by moving towards a less empty feeling tower with #matteblackallthethings and RGB illumination with metal colours here and there. What I picture in my head is so beautiful that it must come to life, so here we are. I will be creating a custom water cooling loop within a small form factor with soft tubing - thick, matte black, soft tubing, with as little fittings as possible. The majority will say hard tubing is much sexier than soft tubing, and from a certain standpoint, this may be an obvious thought. HOWEVER, you're all forgetting that soft tubing has natural curves... OK enough of that talk, I just personally think its a better look in this case and for a first time custom water cooler, I'd prefer to take the easy route anyways. This isn't just a form PC, I'd say it's a 50/50 form & function PC. ______________________ I'm currently running: - Case: Anidees Ai Crystal Lite - CPU: Intel i5 8600k 6 cores OC @ 4.7GHz - CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240 - Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F - RAM: GSkill Trident Z RGB 2x8GB @ 3200MHz - GPU: ASUS STRIX 1070 08G (OC Edition) Stock - PSU: Seasonic FOCUS Plus 650W Gold with custom CableMod Pro cables for CPU, ATX, and GPU - Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 SSD 250GB (boot drive), Samsung 850 EVO SATA 250GB, and a Seagate 1TB HDD - Case Fans: 5x Thermaltake Riing LED White 120mm (3 in front for intake & 2 radiator fans on top for exhaust) What I am planning on running: - Case: NZXT H510 Elite - CPU: Intel i5 8600k 6 cores OC @ whatever I can get it to (5.2GHz+?) - Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F - RAM: GSkill Trident Z RGB 4x8GB @ 3200MHz - GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super - PSU: Seasonic FOCUS Plus 650W Gold with custom CableMod Pro cables for CPU, ATX, and GPU - Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 SSD 250GB (boot drive), Samsung 850 EVO SATA 250GB, and a Seagate 1TB HDD - Case Fans: 3x Corsair LL140 RGB (2x push intake on front & 1x exhaust on top), 1x Corsair LL120 RGB (push exhaust on rear), and 1x Noctua MF-R8 80mm (custom mounted intake at bottom of front to cool basement) As for the water cooling, I'm going to be slapping a water block on both my CPU and GPU including a 150mm reservoir, a D5 pump, a 280mm radiator, and a 120mm radiator. - CPU Block: EK Velocity RGB - Nickel + Acetal - GPU Block: EK Vector RTX RE RGB - Nickel + Acetal - Radiators: EK CoolStream SE 120 (Slim Single), EK CoolStream SE 280 (Slim Dual) - Reservoir: SC Protium 150mm - Black Acetal with 2x SC Ethereal Single Reservoir Mount - Black, 2x SC 140mm Back Plate, and 2x SC 140mm Mounting Rails (4x) - Pump: EK -XTOP Revo D5 - Black Acetal with EK-UNI Holder 50/70 - Fittings: 12x EK-ACF 13/19mm - Black Nickel, EK-AF T-Splitter 3F - Black Nickel, EK-AF 90° Angled - Black Nickel, 2x EK-AF 16mm Rotary Extender M-M - Black Nickel, 3x EK-AF 6mm Extender M-M - Black Nickel, 2x EK-AF Pass-Through - Black Nickel, 4x EK-CSQ Plug - Black Nickel, EK-AF Ball Valve - Black Nickel - Tubing: EK-Tube ZMT 13/19mm - Matte Black - Coolant: Distilled Water with 1x or 2x EK-CryoFuel Clear 100mL Concentrate ______________________ The 280mm radiator will be placed at the front of the case in a push configuration with the reservoir mounted onto it using 2 mounts with several plates and rails to get the optimum position, trying to keep in-line with other components. The 120mm radiator will be positioned at the back of the case also in push configuration. Directly below the reservoir would be the pump mounted sideways on a couple universal brackets with outlet pointing towards the power supply. ______________________ The loop will go from the reservoir to the pump by drilling a hole directly between the two in the cable bar & basement ceiling and using pass through ports and different fittings. It will exit the pump into a 3-way t-splitter fitting that'll split to a ball valve draining port and ahead to a 90° angled fitting back up to the basement ceiling. With another pass through port in a second drilled hole in-line with the first, the loop will head up to the right-hand GPU block port as the graphics card will be mounted vertically. Then out the left-hand GPU block port to the right 120mm radiator port, out the left and into the CPU block inlet port. From here it will go from the CPU block outlet port to the right 280mm radiator port, out the left, and back into the reservoir. One of the 90° ports on the top of the reservoir will lead to another drilled hole with pass through port on the inside panel to be used as a filling port. ______________________ I will also invest in a few other pieces to the puzzle: - Phanteks 220mm PCIE 90° Riser Cable ~for the vertical graphics card mount. - An extra 6-Pin PCIE cable from CableMod to power the graphics card and match the other cables. - Corsair Commander Pro & Corsair RGB Fan Hub ~to support & control all the fans and their RGB lighting. - A custom designed fan grill for the top 140mm fan, to hide the ugly back of fans and give it a completely different look whilst still letting RGB goodness shine through. - A custom cut mirrored acrylic PCIE shelf that can 'clip in' to the highest short PCIE slot to hold light ornaments / figurines. - Possibly an EK-Vector RTX Backplate - Nickel ~in-case I cannot remount the founders edition stock back plate. - Possibly a Matte Black dbrand laptop skin to wrap the reservoir if I do not like the look of clear water in a clear plastic cylinder. - Possibly, down the line, a custom real neon or NeonPlus LED sign to be hung in the middle somewhere. ______________________ SO... In conclusion, after all that, I should end up with a well planned, fully functional, fully beautiful computer where no purchase decisions end up being wrong. To counter that completely, I will buy the parts sequentially rather than all at once, so I can double check measurements etc. Now the reason for having a small fan cooling the basement is because pumps tend to get quite hot, so best to circulate some air down there too. I also have a CableMod 30cm RGB strip that I will locate vertically along the back left edge of the case, facing across (not into) the case and graphics card. I will also be removing the 3.5" drive bays to allow enough room in basement. Before I create a huge hole in my financial pocket, can I get some peoples opinions on this build? Along with any concerns towards measurements, compatibility, missing components, or advice. Questions I have currently: - Where do I mount the Commander Pro and LED Hub? - If a PCIE slot can hold a graphics card with help from an expansion slot or two, then can a short PCIE slot hold up a piece of acrylic? - How flexible is 13/19mm soft tubing? - Will I need more or less than 1L of coolant in this loop? - Can I trust local stores to supply perfect distilled water without any additives? Thank you very much, Sam
  8. As per the title, looking for a mechanical keyboard thats compact that I can travel to LAN parties with, and put in my carry on for plane trips with my Ghost S1 case. I liked the look and design of the Vortex Race 3 Aluminium, but looks like they are no longer in production and sold out everywhere. Can anyone recommend something similar? Will be paired with a corsair M65 pro mouse in white.
  9. I've been trying to figure out what's the highest density storage medium you can buy(volume-wise). I know there are 512GB Micro-SD cards available, and appearantly Sandisk has a 1TB card to. If that is true, these cards must have a storage density magnitudes higher then any SSD or hard drive, but on all the websites I've seen discussing high density storage, there's never even a mention of SD Cards. According to Wikipedia the highest density medium is DNA, but I'm fairly certain you can't run out and buy yourself a DNA-drive just yet. So what is really the highest density storage available? If you had to carry petabytes of data in a backpack, what would be the best choice? All answers are appreciated!
  10. A friend of mine who is currently a university student is looking for a new printer. He currently has a Brother Ink jet MFP that chugs ink like a frat boy at a party with free beer and is looking to switch to a laser/LED printer. His only requirements are that it has to be a compact MFP as he lives in a small one bedroom condo with is partner and space is at a premium (he likes the size of my Samsung SCX-3205W), mono, scanner, wireless and doesn't cost as much as the first wireless printer ever made!. I have tried looking for something that suites his needs, but printers are not my area of expertise. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

  13. Hello everyone, I am looking for a mini compact computer that can run IVMS-4200 (security camera monitoring program), and stream usually at most 16 feeds at once. Only requirements I have are that it has to have at least one RJ-45 port and an hdmi port. Currently, I am using the Zotac zbox CI325 nano but it really isn't really as powerful as I would like. I am looking for it to be under $250 USD. I do understand that more you pay the better you can get, but still. Thanks for your help. Feel free to ask any other questions if need be.
  14. Hi, a few days ago my old Sony Xperia Z1 gave up . I think it is an issue with the battery. I was checking an replacement which would be budget solution which would cost up to around 300 euro. But i dont need the latest tech as i can work with i have available. But i have one big restriction and that would be it should not be bigger than the 4.6 inch. That is the old xperia was a little smaller whic was great ( i dont need a brick in my pants ). Are there any other choices i might have missed ? which are "recent" ? Thank in advance for any advice and help.
  15. Looking to get a new mechanical keyboard for my setup. I currently have a Corsair K70 RGB mechanical keyboard and I think I've grown out of this whole RGB thing. Do you guys have any recommendations on a nice compact, non RGB, mechanical keyboard? (Preferably switches similar to MX Brown). In terms of price point I'm looking to stay under $150. Thank everyone!
  16. Introduction Firstly, hey LTT community! I am a new member in this community forum and before then, I have been watching many videos from LMG, which inspired me to join this community and build my first gaming rig. I also built a tower game server using server hardware after encountering my first LTT video of Linus explaining the difference between Intel Core and Intel Xeon CPUs, but it was sold as I stopped hosting game servers. I am a young adult living in Singapore! After a few years in the Desktop Replacement Laptop community, when I used to heft a large laptop with "desktop grade hardware", my lifestyle was, I needed a laptop with desktop hardware since it needs to go out often for school, classes and LAN parties. Now, the journey in the Desktop Replacement laptop community has come to an end as I have finished my polytechnic degree, now awaiting for graduation and almost never take a computer out of the home anymore. I needed a new system, but instead of buying another laptop, I decided to go with a desktop build. And a modern, epic one, inspired by a few of LTT's videos. I now unveil to you, my computer system which I call: Sky Soarer I decided to of course, go with a more value optimized build for the computer box itself and for a first timer, to challenge myself to build a Compact Gaming Rig, that has some level of LAN party portability so once in a blue moon I could bring it to a family or friend's place to play! This build is currently still in progress, but I am near completion! These LTT videos inspired me the most to build the rig: and more importantly, I like RGB as well, like Linus does! So what gaming rig doesn't have RGB today? Specifications Before I continue, yes, I hope the community respects that I am a Brony (a male fan of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic) and you will see ponies, in this build log. Heheh. And so, the journey begins (Refer to spoilers and pictures below). Pictures Day 1: Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 (Completed) The build is complete!
  17. Hey everyone, Currently running on mac, 2015, and it is seriously running slowly. I am setup in my room, which is quite small, this will be my first build, I would be quite savy so the build itself would not scare me, but the wide variety of parts, different numbers and all of that does. Looking for recommendations in the 1200-2000 euro range for a small, compact but powerful build. Graphics card is not essential as I am not too much of a PC Gamer, however I want the option to be open for future expansion. Currently looking at a Ryzen 7 1700x as the CPU, and I am just overwhelmed what to look at next. I am, as I said new to the building community, would appreciate all help! Cheers
  18. Hello! First of thanks for helping me decide which phone to get a few months ago ( It became the OP 3T) I'm going for a small city trip and i want to take some nice photographs. The problem is i dont want to take my heavy reflex camrea with me. So im opting for a compact camera in a decent price range. I was recommanded the Sony DSC-HX60VB CyberShot, but somehow i'm not sure. Is this a good option in the pricerange of around 200-300€? Thanks for the help!
  19. I have a request from my employers to build some PCs to use for demonstrations. They would like to travel with these PCs and need a large amount of power to run the virtualization we need. Management is asking me to slap 128gb of RAM in something compact enough to carry on board a plane and carry across the globe. I do not think a laptop would be able to push what they want, seeing they are complaining about a maxxed out P70 Thinkpad. Liquid cooling is obviously out due to TSA regulations. Our software we are demonstrating controls entire electric grids, so the VM demos are pretty fat (~600GB in files alone). I assume to get the butter smooth presentations they want, I could either build a x299 crate PC or something compact with a folding monitor for their reference. (Clients will see projector). Then cut some foam and put in a rolling Pelican case. Ideally, I need to build a decent prototype, then possibly 4x more. Currently thinking: X299 128GB RAM 2TB NVME SSD Quadro P4000 Any ideas for a case or solution would be great. Budget (I wish was mine.....) $12K per travel "kit"
  20. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some compact micro atx cases. I like glass, lighting and all those kind of things so id rather it not be plain. Help is very much appreciated!
  21. I am looking to buy a compact system that I can use for streaming and gaming that I can take with me while I travel, was looking at origins chronos series. Was wondering if there are better or cheaper options out there, I'd like to not go bellow a 8700k and a 1080 ti but i'm open to less.
  22. Looking to upgrade from my piece of crap 20 dollar cheapo tripod that I bought ages ago back at bestbuy. I already have a pistol grip ball head, so if the tripod comes with a mount, a video pan head would be nice. Hoping for something that could shrink down to fit into a backpack, it's a travel pack so nothing incredibly small. If not, just general suggestions for good tripods. ~$100 budget, give or take a bit
  23. Introducing the B-Tech Arctic computer case! At only 5.2 liters of internal volume, it's one of the smallest ITX cases with full-length GPU support on the market! (That's right, smaller than the RVZ03 or even the Sentry case!) The Arctic case achieves a stunningly accurate "console aesthetic" look thanks to it's glossy plastic exterior construction, ample vent holes, and clean, screw-free external design, including on the back and bottom! But just because your computer looks like a console doesn't mean it should perform like one! That's why Arctic supports full-length GPUs and comes standard with built-in liquid cooling! It even includes a built-in 1500W DC power supply (2x compact 750W AC bricks), with future battery-pack expansion planned! But it doesn't end there. The Artic isn't called "Arctic" for nothing. It's got built-in sub-zero cooling capable of handling over 550W of total system heat dissipation! That means your system could be cooled down to 0° C FREEZING even at LOAD! And if you don't want the extra power consumption and noise, you can simply swap the Arctic A/C Block in the loop out for the regular Radiator Block, thanks to our custom designed quick-swap fittings that allow detaching parts of the cooling loop without draining! Sign up for the mailing list here! For progress updates and to be notified when our Kickstarter Campaign goes live! But of course, you need photos! Here are some 3D renders. These are NOT proof of concept renders. They are taken using the real model, not a striped-down version missing internal structure or interconnects. The Arctic Case in Glacier White. The top intake is a custom designed ~100mm RGB 4-pin fan. The final design will also have a backlit logo on top. The case can be opened quickly and easily thanks to the innovative magnetic-latch system, which sends power and data for the LED illumination through magnetized contacts, making the case side-panels totally wire-free. Arctic Case in Cobalt Black: From the side, you can see the 360° addressable RGB LED ring. A non-slip rubber pad with an intricate pattern lines the bottom of the case to give it a two-tone look. From the front you can see 3 of the 8 individually controllable 4-pin exhaust fans. A/C units connected to the watercooling loop with a custom copper heatsink block are positioned behind these to achieve CPU/GPU temps BELOW ambient! And did I mention there's a flipping TURBO BUTTON!? You'll also notice there's no power button. That's because it's capacitive! To turn the system on, simply tap the left-front area of the case. Of course, you're probably also wondering how on earth we're controlling 10 independent 4-pin fans (including the pump) and over 70 zones of RGB lighting... Well, existing 4-pin fan splitters are not able to control fan speed independently or even report individual fan speed, leaving you with no way to ensure your fans/pumps are still working properly, not to mention they're way to big to fit in a case this small, so we decided to come up with our own solution. Introducing the Arctic Control Board! Able to control 12 independent 4, or even 3-pin fans with per-fan auto-config and per-fan RPM control. Plus, it has RGB lighting control, capacitive touch circuitry, A/C cooling control, case-open detect, and even front-panel IO! Front IO: 1x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0 2x Reassignable HD Audio Jacks RGB Illuminated Capacitive Power Button w/ Adjustable Sensitivity User-Configurable Turbo Button (Mechanical MX Blue-like Switch, because why not) What's Included with the Case: The case. Obviously. Custom 1500W PSU (98.5% DC-side efficiency, not cheap!) w/ Dual (also custom) 750W AC Power Bricks. Pre-assembled copper CPU & GPU water loop. Universal CPU waterblock. Dual thermoelectric A/C radiator units. 8x 60mm side fans, 1x slim ~100mm RGB intake fan. 64 pixel 360° addressable LED ring. Dual-channel smart RGB controller & 12-channel 3/4-pin PWM driver with per-fan RPM feedback. And, if you don't want to build a system yourself, pre-built configurations featuring delided 7th-gen Intel i7 CPUs, ASRock Z270 Motherboards, NVMe SSD Storage, and watercooled NVIDIA 1060, 1070 Ti, or 1080 Ti GPUs will also be available, starting at only $920! We already designed and tested PCBs, prototyped proof-of-concepts, and part-fit tested with cardboard, foamboard, etc. But we're not there yet! Here's what still needs to happen: Plastic case prototype, More part-fit testing. Refining pressure-fit and screw hole sizes based on material properties. Kickstarter video! Building an epic system in the thing! Once we've done all that, we can launch the campaign to gather funds for entering production! Current estimated launch date: Mid-February, 2018. Sign up for the mailing list here! For progress updates and to be notified when our Kickstarter Campaign goes live! B-Tech Arctic. Compact Liquid-Cooling for the Masses!
  24. Hello, Much like other people on this forum I am looking to build a computer for myself for the very first time. So for this Project which I have decided to name Project C I want to build an extremely compact machine that has enough power to help me complete my power hungry tasks. These tasks include, Android Studio, Eclipse, Adobe Illustrator and the only game I play on my PC which is Minecraft. So as of now I don't think that I need a dedicated video card, especially since I want to keep this very compact. So I think I have most of the project down since I am kinda basing this Snazzy Lab's Hackintosh project. The only issue is that I really can't figure out how to setup an external powerful supply or what parts I should purchase in order to make sure the machine has just enough power. -This is my current parts list, but of course I would like better suggestions. Motherboard - Gigabyte H-170 Motherboard CPU - Intel Core i3 RAM - 8GB DDR3 or DDR4? Brand is not important. Memory - Laptop Size HDD 1TB PSU - No clue, please help! Cooler - Noctua NH-L9i CPU Cooler Case - Streacom F1C-WS
