Soooo I have a quite old by today's standards Lenovo ideapad laptop, I was showing my friend a new wallpaper I put so I snipped it and sent it to him on whatsapp, then when I checked on my phone, the wallpaper looked 10 times better, all the colors were waayy more vibrant and it made me wonder if I could do the same on my laptop screen? Is that something possible with a bit of configuration or is it some tech that probably isn't supported on my laptop...my phone is a nova3i btw

So, I know this product has essentially just released at the time of posting this (5/14/23), but I was wondering if there was any plans on offering the Sticklocks in different colors? The colors I would guess would be your standard Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, White, Pink, and Gray.

Weird pinkish/blueish colors when I turn on HDR in Windows 11
Giuliano_14 posted a topic in Displays
I bought a new monitor, an LG 32GN600B. When I activate HDR in Windows 11 it turns the whole screen a blue-ish or maybe pink-ish color. The OSD locks out every setting except brightness and sharpness so I can't do anything there. I know my monitor does not support "true HDR", only displaying up to SRGB but I'd still like to have the added brightness and contrast even if it's a small difference. I don't understand why it looks so strange with HDR on. Does it have to do with maybe the monitor is receiving a wide color gamut signal and the monitor can't display most of it? Can I have "SRGB HDR"? -
I'd love to get an LTT t-shirt, but I don't want a black t-shirt, as I live in the American South, and summers are sweltering here. Additonally I want to brighten up my wardrobe with colored graphic tees. Will LMG be releasing any colored graphic t-shirts anytime soon?

coolant Can you mix 2 colors in a custom loop?
cmay25009 posted a topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
I want to have 2 colors in a custom loop that don't mix with each other. Like a base of white and an accent of blue. The only thing is they would need to be two different compounds but I have no idea what 2 would get the results I want. -
Hello, I broke my phone's screen a few days ago and since then there is a weird discoloration on a part of the screen It is very visible (especially on white background). It's like there's permanent pressure on the screen even when there is none applied. Is there any way I can fix this or is the damage permanent? The touch still works on that area and I can also see text fine on that area.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800H - GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU - Windows 11 Every YT and saved videos are washed out, but if, for example, while im watching a video I press the windows key and type something, the video in the background fixes itself, then i can close the windows menu and the colors dont change until i do something like switching tabs, or if the colors are wrong, if i can press win+m the colors fix for a second then they go back to washed out. What can i do?

For my secondary monitor I have a an Asus ProArt PA279Q. It's been out for a few years, was actually reviewed by Linus back in the day, and I have had it since shortly after launch. It is plugged into an Radeon RX580 on a Windows 10 machine. I bought the monitor to edit photos on, as I am a hobbyist photographer, and it has 99% AdobeRGB coverage. I was editing some photos on it and noticed that it just did not look right. Luckily I have a Spyder5 color calibrator, and it had been some time since I ran a calibration on it, so I figured it was just due for that. I made sure the monitor was on AdobeRGB mode in the OSD, and then ran the calibrator utility. The results that came back were pretty bad. According to the Spyder 5 software, the monitor is now only displaying 90% of sRGB, or about 66% of AdobeRGB. So: Is it possible that the monitor, now roughly 5 years old, is just "wearing out" in terms of the amount of colors it is capable of? Is there some setting in Windows 10 that I need to change to enable it to show all of the colors it is capable of? Is there a setting in the Radeon Software that I need to change to enable it to show all of the colors it is capable of? Or something else I am completely missing?

Hi everyone, Hope you'll are staying safe out there. So I work as a graphic designer for a publication house and I'm trying to buy a new monitor for my office work. After doing some research, I came across Asus ProArt PA27AC which seem to be in the sweet spot on features and price. I just want to know if you'll have any experience working with this monitor. Especially color correction work as this monitor will mainly be used for that purpose. Also one big reason that I chose this because it is said to be supporting Adobe RGB (at least in some websites). I'm a bit confused on that and does it really a big deal when it comes to printing or a 100% sRGB monitor should be enough. I appreciate any feedback from you guys and if you are going to make any other suggestions please make them for the following brands as I do not live in US or Europe and the availability is very limited in my country. Asus, Benq, Dell Thanks and have a good day.

anyone got any tips for optimal color settings on this monitor? It's pretty new so there isn't that many reviews yet. My friend bought it today so i figured I would help him out.

So I'm in the market for a small laptop, 10-13 inches, to be my daily roleplaying and general browsing machine. The keyfeel and quality of the keyboard is paramount here, but at least 8GB of ram, and 150GB of SSD storage would be appreciated. Something that might make things difficult, is that I'd like one in a cute color, something pastel like a pink purple or green. Or at least a skin brand that fits whatever models are found. Overall build quality can be as low as a C+ and the screen I would prefer to be 1080p. The closest thing I could find is the old 11 inch HP Stream but those are far too underspec now

Picked up an Asus GU 502 earlier this week. I noticed that the colors were off and didn't seem as bright as they should be, especially reds. I tried using the screen calibration with Windows 10 but it still looks off. Any suggestions on how to fix?

So I've recently noticed a strange bug. It definitely doesn't seem like intended behavior. Whenever I load a youtube video, or any sort of video file format, or video content (not games), there's a 1 second delay, and then it looks like the brightness of the video has been increased. Almost like a white film or filter. This doesn't happen when I only have one monitor enabled in windows. I've tried disabling freesync, disabling custom color modes, Any other monitor specific color modes. I've tried resetting my drivers to default settings, and it keeps happening. I can't find anything in windows settings about auto-video quality settings or anything like that, so I'm honestly quite confused. If anyone else has a similar issue or knows what it might be, I'd greatly appreciate some help. Usually I can dig into this kind of thing but it seems so odd.

First of all apologies if I am writing something doesn't make sense or not clear as English is not my first language but I'll do my best. I need help with two problems. The first one happens when I turn on my PC. The colors look very bad (looks like if contrast is VERY high) but when I go to windows settings and turn off HDR then turn it back on the problem is solved. This is annoying as I have to do it almost every time I turn on my PC. Below are some info that might help: WIN 10 64bit (19041,208) CPU: I7 6800K GPU: GTX 1080 founder's edition (drivers updated) System is connected to AV receiver (SONY STR-DN-1080) via HDMI then to Sony TV (KD-55X7000D) also via HDMI cable. My NVIDIA control panel settings: 4k, 60hrz, RGB, 8bit, Full, HDR is turned on from windows settings. Second problem is that when I play some non HDR games such as Dying light and Resident Evil Revelations 2, the colors look weird, too much red color like if there is a filter on the game. (check the attachment). What makes it even more weird is that when I go border-less window while playing Dying Light, the problem is gone!!! Attachment 1 pic while full screen Attachment 2 pic while borderless window (colors are correct) Note: Tried to take screenshot but when I paste the screenshot the colors are fine! when I go back full screen problem happens again! I am doubting HDR settings, is it possible to make two NVIDIA color profiles, one profile for HDR games and one profile for non HDR games? or what do you think the problem is? Thank you شكراً جزيلاً

Hi guys bit of a stupid question today My windows 10 install always had a black task bar and stuff with blue accents when changing volume or whatever Now after I installed wallpaper engine (now uninstalled) it changed to light grey, I then tried to change it back to dark grey/black with blue accents but I can't seem to make it work. It's a stupid unimportant thing, but it really bothers me. See pictures for context In the first picture the volume is black with blue, but the taskbar is also blue, which really annoys me for some reason In the second picture, they're all grey How do I get it black and blue again? Sorry for the dumb question and thanks in advance

I need a code that changes the color of all of my game objects (not sprites), but not all to the same color (each object must have a random color). I made a code that asigns the same random color to all of the game objects(not sprites). And i cannot figure this out, i am struggling with this for several hours now, really annoying! Heres the code: using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; using UnityEngine.UI; public class RandomizeColors : MonoBehaviour { Vector4[] colors = { new Vector4(1, 0, 0, 1), new Vector4(0, 1, 0, 1), new Vector4(0, 0, 1, 1), new Vector4(0, 1, 1, 1), new Vector4(1, 0, 1, 1), new Vector4(1, 1, 0, 1) }; private Vector4 RandomColor() { Vector4 color = colors[Random.Range(0, colors.Length)]; return color; } private void Update() { GetComponent<Image>().material.color = RandomColor(); } }

ATI FirePro V4800 (FireGL)ATI FirePro V4800 (FireGL)Hey everybody, thanks for taking a min of your time to check this post. I just got 2 new monitors, both are HP EliteDisplay E231 23-inch LED and I connected them to my graphics card which is a ATI FirePro V4800 (FireGL), One of the monitors is connected via DisplayPort and the other via DVI. I rested both monitors to factory settings but they both show different colours ( like one is more bright than the other.) One thing I can say for sure that this is not the monitor's fault. I had 2 other monitors ( not same model and they had the same issue even though i'd set them at same brightness/contracts etc ). What can I do as it's hurting my eyes badly... Thank you.

Hello guys. A friend of mine has this odd problem. Basically, he has 2 HP Pavilion 23xi connected to a Gigabyte GTX 1070 Ti Gaming 8G, and the 2 monitors have different colors as you can see here: https://imgur.com/a/XZGgyzp We tried everything: setting up via display options, via nvidia control panel, via windows calibration settings. Nothing, they always show different colors. What can it be? Some informations: they are hdmi displays. He connected them via hdmi cable with display port to hdmi adapters on the gpu side (it's the final setup he's using at the moment, because we tried connecting via hdmi cable alone on one monitor and dvi to hdmi adapter on the 2nd one with same different colors behavior, then he tried the current setup, believing will fix the problem and... nope it didn't). Thanks in advance guys

I have the Coolermaster CM Storm mouse and keyboard combo. Worked fine, actually it still does, except for the Mouse LED recently. They work but the colours are wrong now. It used to be 7 options. Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Yellow, Light Blue and White. Now some colours are dimmed or are just completely missing, and they're replaced by repeating colours. Is there a way to reset the mouse? I tried removing device through device manager but it didn't change anything.

Hey there. I've got an Asus VS Series VS238H-P 23" monitor and have had this strange issue with it. This started several months ago and after letting the monitor sit for a few hours, it was back and working as expected. Fast forward to today and the problem has returned, and letting it sit only temporarily solves the issue. What happens is the colors get screwed up, the monitor freezes, and then a color wave goes across the screen (kinda hard to explain properly). The monitor will unfreeze for a few seconds and then freeze again. I attached a video of what exactly is happening. The strangest part is that letting it cool down has actually been a temporary fix. The monitor is out of warranty so is there anything I could do by taking it a part? I can't seem to find any similar issues online so I'm baffled. Any helps is appreciated. Thanks!
