Okay, lets get straight to the point. I have games such as; Arma 2, Arma 3, Battlefield 3 & 4, CoD Advanced Warfare (Don't judge me, it's good fun!) and other first person shooter games. What I want to know is, is my CPU (heavily) bottlenecking my GPU when it comes to playing these kinds of games? My FPS is extremely unstable, going up and down between 20 and 90 FPS all the time. and it's making these kind of games unplayable and I just want to have fun, damn it! My CPU is an AMD FX-4100 Quad Core Processor at 4.5GHz (I've had it for just under 3 years now) and my graphics card is a Palit GeForce GTX 770 2GB (Had it just under 1 year). If you think my CPU is really effecting my GPU that badly, what would be your suggestions? (As cheap as possible! (UK Price)) Thanks in advance everyone

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has some time and interest for some CoD Zombies, whether it be with W@W, Black Ops, or Black Ops II. Just so you guys know, I have all the DLCs for BO/II and Custom Zombies is an option for W@W. I also only play on PC for zombies, but maybe some of you guys could get together on XBL or PSN. Hopefully there'll be some activity in this thread, I'd like to think that there'll be some of you guys that are interested Cheers!

Hello forum users , I just thought to make a thread about suggested maps, mods, and managers for the aforementioned things, for Custom Zombies (W@W) so that people could give their opinions on maps they have played before, along with mods and managers they've used. Personally, I loved Annihilation, having 8 perks with 3 paped weapons from W@W, BO and BOII is so fun in a huge room for ample chance for training. Nazi Zombie Defense is also a good one, with friendly AI that can take out a few zombies in the earlier rounds, and serve as ammo resources later on if needed. I've played a load more and two good places to stop by to get some maps or mods are UGX-Mods and ZombieModding. Hopefully this thread actually gets viewed, unlike my previous thread about Zombies... So I'm planning on buying CoD Black Ops for PC so I can play zombies, and obviously I want all of the DLCs so I can play all the zombies maps, but those arent available on G2A. Is there any other place online that I can buy these? (Besides Steam of course, because I already spent $15 a piece on them on Xbox 360, I'd rather not buy them all again for full price.)

So I just picked up the game yesterday, I'm able to run the game at max setting silky smooth except in the cutscenes. The cutscenes are running fine but the sound is like "lagging". Is there a fix for that?

Okay so I know I'm going to get some hate for this but here goes. Am I the only one who think it's kind of stupid that two of the mod24 teams are doing a theme, for a PC gaming celebration, based on 2 games that are console games ported to PC? Not to mention that CoD is CoD (#BATTLEFIELDMASTERRACE). I mean yeah, the work they're doing is nice (I guess). I just feel like they didn't really try to come up with something special or unique. Maybe I just feel like I could do better given an unlimited budget, but then again 24 hours is a short period of time, but still, I feel like they could have done so much better. Not just "oh were gonna paint the case really nice and glue shit to it and slap a water cooling loop in it (the CoD rig)" and I expected a lot better from the open air case. I dunno, maybe I'm just a hater and I'm just jelly that I can't be in that competition. Thoughts? Remember this is all just aesthetics, but I just feel like a black ops theme and a titanfall theme are just.... phoning it in.

So I am just curious of what the community thinks of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare? I am personally kinda excited but I am not getting it on launch though, I will probably get it a week or two after release and at the same time as my brother as we play together. I know @athesean1 (an idiot) has preoorderdedred it and is getting it at the midnight release for his PS4 (he is getting a decent PC soon, don't worry). Please no blatant hate on the game, I still play Black OPS 2 with my brother and my friends when they come over and I find the game really fun

Dont read this part, this is just my experience covering my rant. Contains spoilers on some mods If you ever played MW2 on pc or any game on console you know about peer to peer connectivity. Match gets created and a person will be choosen to host that match, if the hosts lefts the match the whole game gets fcked up, yeh, you probably hate it, but, out of many people there that hate it, i really like it, because i've experienced nightmares with Cod4 DEDICATED SERVERS. Play the dramatic music. So you get in the dedicated server, with some mods, lets say: deathrun, obsicurity and that kind of stuff... If you are interested in what those two are, deathrun is a counter strike mod ported to cod4, there is one activator who activates the traps, and there is the jumper who needs to jump his way arround the traps, if all of jumpers fail, activator wins, if you get to the end of the map, you get to play a knife/sniper/deagle only round with the activator. In obsicurity there is a obsicurity, a very hardly seeiable man who can only be seen as a disortion in the air, and there is a normal player who needs to hear, and see the obs and kill him. So in this example I join in obsicurity with my friend. We play normally, then some kid joins in. You know, it's the raging kids who ruin the game, friend of mine said: "In eyes of the noob everyone IS a HACKER" and like, really, he was right, that is exactly what happened here. The guy called Bid3k, yeah, just from the stupid name that has numbers in it you can see clearly he was a newbie, and he played very badly, his kills were very unclean and hard to achieve if you know what i mean, and my friend just went crazy, he plugged in his logitech g230 and started tracking the sounds, the guy saw my friend Brainsick looking at him, and he started warping trough walls which was delayed, and he shot in the wall resulting in guy calling my friend hacker, when in reality, he never used a hack for cod4, never in a public match (he sometimes uses it to annoy me on private with some friends ) and the raging guy, who, what a coincidence, had a wh set up shot my friend multiple times in mid air and arround the car when he wasn't making any sound (special perk) so enough with this stuff. Map changed and the guy left, admin joined, and i tried trollin' my friend, and i said i was looking at him, he turned his headset volume and heard the grass, he looked down, aimed at me for 5 seconds, as i was about to jump he shot me. Bid3k joined up saying he was hacker, resulting in a kick for reason: Banned by admin, guy banned him but he never had time to freaking include the reason, well i had argument with the admin which was 3xp anonymous. Anyways I think Brainsick was unbanned since he could join, then bidek saw him and started shitting again. When admin was online, so now he was banned again, because the admins barely had 500h in the mod where Brainsick had 3000h. So what makes online experience on dedicated servers / cod games or any multiplayer games containing kids in it? -Bad Latency -Bad Players -Rage -Unfair admins -People who are friends with admins and that are lows at the same time -Newbie and unexpirenced players -people that think that everyone is noob and hacker except themselves and sometimes hack themselves -did i say hackers? and actually, games that are bad themselves, that is why i should change to counter strike or battlefield. My friend has 20 megabyte connection and on empty servers he almost always gets 200ms, while in other games it's not the problems, so proof there. From this post alone you know there are bad low raging players that like to friend with unfair admins... There is the proof alone, i talked with Bid3k about what is his native language, and then admin kicked me saying: "stop annoying". Oh well that is fucking awesome. And i don't need to tell how many people "cannot" use google and youtube to learn about the games they play, this applies to singleplayer and multiplayer campaign. Sorry for bad English, i didn't type some of the words here right.... So that was my multiplayer rant

Call of duty: Ghost has a teaser trailer " ". The trailer shows nothing informative about the game, but as I looked in the description there was this written "See the world premiere of Call of Duty: Ghosts May 21st" which also happens to be the same day the next generation xbox will be announced. So expect it to be one of the launch titles of the next generation xbox. So far I have found out nothing else so feel free to add to this by just commenting to this thread.

Hey. I have had an issue lately on Black Ops II where my game just randomly lags. I have a 120Hz monitor and normally I would get 120 fps steady at max graphics no problem. Ever since a while ago when I had to wipe my PC, I have had issues where the game randomly lags for no apparent reason. The game says its going from 120 to 60 fps constantly but sometimes it says 60 fps but I can guarantee it is like 20 to 30 fps. I know it isn't a bottlenecking issue because I have a GTX 680 and an i7 3820 and a generally pretty good system. This issue only happens on Black Ops II. It's happened for a while now and it's really getting to me now. I've tried: - Driver re-install - Turn off/on Vsync - Turning down game settings - Veryfing any missing files in Steam - Driver cleaning programs to fully wipe drivers for re-install - Re-installing Black Ops II Thanks :)

Cod advanced warfare(The new shitty cod) should be erased and Activision should make like, 2 years from now ok, normal people but mostly techlovers ya now fighting against the fcc, comcast, verizon and some other isps and fighting for net neutrality. The trailer would be like in 2016 with Tom Wheeler laughing with comcast's and AT&T'S presidents in a big building and suddenly, people like soldiers and shit start like an ambush or something and Tom wheeler escapes with loads of money and he makes the internet uber slow and then some war scenes and finally the main character goes into a building and he starts talking to some guy that's not looking at the camera and you can only see him from behind and this guy says "They took wendell but they won't take net neutrality" and the guy looks at the main character and it's Logan from TS and then Qain appears with some super technological sunglasses and says "Let's kill Wheeler" SEPTEMBER 2014 WAIT FOR THE SALVATION OF THE INTERNET! That's the best I can get, I'm still very hung over from last night. Sorry if I wrote something wrong I'm from arg, spanish is my thing still lol.

Why are games that are so old, and so repetitive, so expensive? In new zealand, World at war is $40 USD on steam. ($30 right now because sales.). Personally i wouldn't buy any COD game unless it was 75% off, or more. Activision needs to Get their shit together. -

So i was watching the reveal and it finally is revealed. I'm not surprised. They have introduced set destructive environments and more polygons to the face, put Eminem to advertise, added character customization... I'm just sitting here pointing out the games it has copied features of. What are your thoughts on the reveal? I'm getting BF4 and Titanfall because COD:Ghosts is done. So I wanted to benchmark this card as I have had it for a month now and I have to say, it's quite a good card. I used GeForce Experience to optimize all my games, now with Skyrim I did have some mods on, no high res texture packs but just some smaller things to not have nothing to do Now I used Fraps to get all the benchmarks so these are raw copy pastes of the FPS from the games. 2013-09-18 19:15:24 - CoD Blops2 mp Frames: 52414 - Time: 890141ms - Avg: 58.883 - Min: 31 - Max: 95 2013-09-22 01:41:58 - csgo Frames: 211576 - Time: 2346177ms - Avg: 90.179 - Min: 10 - Max: 145 2013-09-23 15:26:03 - NFS13 Frames: 613 - Time: 10186ms - Avg: 60.181 - Min: 59 - Max: 62 2013-09-28 17:19:49 - Skyrim Frames: 30002 - Time: 761659ms - Avg: 39.390 - Min: 2 - Max: 76 Here is a link to all the settings I used in game and also to the enabled mods I have for skyrim. http://imgur.com/7f1yi68,THIiSHj,dQv7zrq,UN2uuXQ To sum this up, for the $40 after MIR I spent on the card, it's pretty good it overclocks well and stays under 54 degrees while in games. I have the card running at 930MHZ on the core and 650 on the memory this is up from what it came with at stock at 810MHZ on the core and 535 on the memory. so it's a good OC and it doesn't even get hot (I could take it higher but I start to see artifacts in games anything over 950 and 690) So to sum it up, if you need a GPU and want to game and medium to low settings then this is the card for you!
