Hello, so I've got an iPhone 8 Plus and I'm looking to get a wireless charging stand for my desk. I'm rather short on power outlets, but I do have a USB-C Dock for my PC which has a front facing Fast Charge USB port which supports Battery Charging Specification Revision 1.2 (BC 1.2). I just want the wireless capability and am fine with the 5W charging. However the dock wants at minimum 5V-2A. My question is, does the BC 1.2 USB port on my dock satisfy this power requirement?

So the LG G7 One [LM-Q910(UM)] has been out for awhile. According to GSM Arena the US model has wireless charging. Anyone know if the canadian model has the capability to have the wireless charging enabled or added through flashing or opening up the phone?

I have a "Scorpion/iwalk" 1200 mah power bank, it worked normally for a long time, but now it does not turn on or power anything. I can charge it normally, but when I press the power button nothing happens.

Hi everyone! I have a HP Chromebook X2 and a HP Spectre x360 laptop and I would like to know if can use any of the chargers on each device independently of the charging speed. I just don't want to damage them. These are the specifications for both chargers: --- means a solid line above a dashed line Chromebook charger output: 5V --- 3A, 9V --- 3A, 12V --- 3A, 15 --- 3A. Laptop charger output: 5V --- 3A, 9V --- 3A, 10V --- 5A, 12V --- 5A, 15V --- 5A, 20V --- 4.5V Thank you!

I am looking for a hardware device designed to stop charging your phone at a certain percentage level. There are countless apps on the play store to tell you to unplug your phone when its fully charged but I like to charge my phone over night and to wake up just to unplug my phone is stupid. I know its possible by rooting android but I have a Galaxy S10+ Snapdragon version and there are currently no ways to root it.

Hi, so after the Apple AirPower incident, I've been thinking about my own wireless charger that I use for my S8. It's the 2015 old model of the Samsung fast charger that I got from my friend after he bought himself a new wireless charger for his S9. I've been thinking recently about how much electricity I'm using with this wireless charger since I have it on plugged to the wall 24/7 and is only used about 3-5 hours a day charging my S8 in fast-charge mode. Am I wasting electricity by using wireless means of charging compared to hard-wired charging? My two scenarios for charging are: Current way - Wireless: Wireless charging pad Connected to power 24/7 Old way - hardwired Stock USB-C charging cable Connected to power 24/7 Also, bonus question, does anyone else feel that wireless charging tends to make the battery life last a little shorter compared to cable-charged?

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro from 2017 and I am mostly happy with it. However, now that I have started using USB-C I am realizing how much I am missing out not being able to charge it with USB-C. So, I had this idea to get a Surface Pro charging cable or rather connector and a USB-C cable and put those together so that I have USB-C on one and the proprietary Surface Charging Connector on the other end. My question: does something like this already exist and where do I find a Surface Pro Charging Connector/Third Party cable/connector as I am not willing to pay the price for the original cable? BTW I am open to any better suggestions. It literally just was an idea.

I have old lenovo G500 laptop today when i was trying to open the bottom lid and was removing the charging socket a small spark appeared after which all of the juice of my laptop drained now it shows my laptop charging but is fixed at 0% (it come from 100%-0 on while charging)it was showing charging and on other side discharging pls help

So few days ago my laptop charger stop working so i opened it everything was ok one of the wire was loose so i soldered it but now when i charge my laptop adaptor gives some crickling noise and laptop blinks both charging and system light simultaneously what could have happened pls tell me(battery backup even degraded and yes the aluminium sheet which covers the adaptor from inside was broken by me)

Hi there, I'm planning to buy CORSAIR K63 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard & CORSAIR Harpoon RGB Wireless Mice. I was wondering if these devices can be charged via a PowerBank instead of using PC's USB ports. Letting two USB cables hang behind the Desk doesn't really serve the purpose of a Wireless setup. #Peace -
Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the use of Aliexpress USB-C cables, my OEM phone charging cable is getting a bit worn out, like the apple cables. my current phone is a LG G6. My question is wether its save or not, to use a cheap braided aliexpress USB-C cable, or i have to get a proper one.

Hello guys, I have the dell latitude 7400 and I use it with the Dell Dock WD19. It is constantly charging my laptop so it's always on 100%. I have not found a way of turning off charging trough the dock using a physical button. After searching online I've found an app Called "Dell Power Manager" which is supposed to be able to manage my charging. When I go to https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=h2vh9 and scroll down to compatible systems It lists the Latitude 7400 as compatible But when I try to install it (I did use Microsoft store and other versions) it was never able to complete the installation. So I checked the log file and it stated that my device is not compatible. Is there a way to fix the problem with Power manager? or maybe my device really isn't compatible? and if so what other ways are there to turn off charging? I'd like some help because this definitely is not healthy for my computer.

hey there (hopefully) helpful people, a few days ago i woke and my oneplus 6t's battery was drained. after some tries with the charger i got it to charge and boot, only to find out it barely charges, let alone utilize dash-charging. contacted OP live chat support, who redirected me to the 'book a repair' page. i booked a repair with oneplus and when i got my phone back the problem persisted, turns out they just cleaned the charge port (to be fair it's clean as hell now). here's some data i collected myself: - by dialing *#808# you get to the engineering software in the phone, where i can see the phone is only taking about 1400mA, while the dash charger is capable of 4000mA - the cable is not faulty, i've tried 3 different cables, same problem - the charging block is not faulty, i tried a 2100mA block from apple and the phone still takes 1400mA - the power outlet is not faulty, i tried 3 different ones around the house, same problem - the charge port has been cleaned by oneplus themselves, so that can't be it - the cable wiggles a small bit and when i wiggle it the right (or wrong) way the charging either stops or continues at 1400mA - i used the accubattery app to test the battery, the health of the battery seems fine according to the app please let me know if any of you have a solution and I might send a cookie, regards, jimmy

Hello, I have a new dell laptop that activates fans for small jobs (1 Word doc and chrome browser) when plugged in. It really bugs me because when unplugged and doing way more its silent. I have read something about the laptop increasing performance when plugged in, but I couldn’t figure out what to do. If anyone is wondering its a dell ispiron 13 7380

Hi all, I just purchased a rapoo power bank with no buttons, whenever I connect a phone to it, it doesn't start charging until I unplug the phone, plug in a small cell vape then connect the phone. I am curious if the power bank is defective, I drained it and charged it to full and used other cables and nothing works. Any advice? Thanks -
Hello lads, I'm not sure if there is a valid solution here but whenever i plug in my Dell i5 5577 Gaming with any rating other than the 130W brick it came with, it caps off performance and everything tanks to the point where i can't even watch YouTube. Yes, I know i should be using the 130W rated charger it came with but i left it at work and I'm off for the next two days. really don't want to spend $50 on a charger when I already have a surplus of old Dell 90W chargers. (which i am using right now I should add) I'm only bringing this up because Task Manager shows my CPU getting capped off in a way I've never seen before. Is this a software thing, And can i turn it off? Blue line shows when i plugged the 90W charger in.

I had my phone (Motorola G6) plugged in overnight to an extension lead but when I woke up and went to check my phone it didn't turn on. I tried the fingerprint sensor and power button but nothing. When I went to check the charger I noticed that it was half unplugged; I don't know how long it had been like this but could this have caused my problems? Thanks in advance. EDIT: I've had my phone plugged in for about another 10-15 minutes to see if it just wasn't charged and I just felt the phone and it's already quite warm. Does this mean anything?

So I just got a G Pro wireless, and I have a somewhat weird question. If I am using it wireless, and I plug by cable to any USB, which connection will it prioritize? I am asking because I'm using a USB passthrough on corsair keyboard for a receiver, and I want to use USB from my monitor (hub), but if it prioritizes USB hub over USB passthrough my latency will increase, that's why I am asking. If I have plugged the G Pro receiver let's say directly into pc, but I also connect the mouse with wire to USB hub or any other USB, which path will it choose?

I have a Xiaomi Redmi 6A. Whenever I plug it in it says its charging but when I check the current on accubattery it shows that its in the negative, and battery is still discharging.Before I had to apply some pressure on the port head and angle it upwards slightly to deliver a positive current,but now that doesn't work either. I have tried different cables, some the phone doesn't even detect, others i have to apply some sort of pressure to get the phone to say its charging,one cable i just plug in and it shows that its charging, but none of them actually raise the percentage charged. Can someone please help?

Hello I just got the Razer Blade Stealth 13 (early) notebook. As in the title said, it wont charge when its turned off. Yes turned off, not sleep. I have been writing with the support since 2 weeks but after reinstalling some drivers and changing stuff in the bios they told me I should send it in. I have not tried resetting the laptop, that shouldnt be the problem. I also dont know if this problem was out of the box. Everything else works like a charm. The light is not on when turned off and cable in. I have also switched to the default powerplan. I have tried both charging ports. Please dont demotivate me with telling me how bad razer is. Now I am asking you guys, the real specialists. Laptop: Razer Blade Stealth 13 (early 2019) with 512gb.
