  1. Total budget and country of purchase: 1000-1200€, Country: Germany Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications to your requirements for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Good battery life would be nice. 2 in 1 etc not really necessary How important is weight to you? The Laptop should be light weight for carrying Which OS do you require? Windows, Linux, Mac. Windows and Mac are good Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Screen should be around 13''-14'' Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. If you have no requirements, put N/A. light CAD-Modeling with AutoCAD and ArchieCAD Rendering etc. will be done at WorkstationPC at home If you're gaming (leave blank if you put N/A above...), do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? N/A Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable business grade build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? No specific requirements, except maybe a matt screen for better reading while outside Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Hey guys, my girlfriend is a Architecture Student. She has good Pc with an i7 etc. at home, additionaly she needs a small and light Laptop (~13'', <1.6 kg) to tweak her CAD-Models while traveling. I wonder how important a dGPU is and if a Nvidia 940MX has enough power. Could you suggest a Laptop and/or parts that the Laptop needs to have? Many thanks for considering my request.
  2. Hello, I need help with chosing my mouse. I have about 100 usd to spand on it, my gigabyte M6980X is dying and I'm student in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Google Sketch Up, Blender, 3Ds, and Revit. So I need some pretty accurate sensor. I do not mind wireless nor wired mouse. I was thinking about Logitech MX Master, but it is about 2 years old, so is there something newer? With same or similar shape? (The logitech MX Master was "Love for the first hold") I have just two 1080p screens so I do not need high DPI. So is there any as perfect choice as Logitech MX Master but from this year? If not I will go with Logitech MX Master if you don't talk me out of it. Few more things It must be or It must have: Low latency (I play games too :-D, and it is also good for quicker work) accuarcy (I wanna as precise mouse as posible) BIG - I have about 19-20 cm hands from my wrist to the top of my finger Shape - I worked few times for 15 hours with breaks so, something that I can hold on perfectly (like Logitech MX Master, the Gigabyte M6980X is small for me) thx for advice
  3. I have been working on designing my own custom computer case for a while now because i couldn't find anything online that would fit my needs. The idea here is to be able to fit high end parts in the smallest volume possible, while not sacrificing cable management or cooling. The case materials would be a combination of a frame made of steel square tubing (various sizes), 3D printed joints, and a combination of laser-cut aluminum panels and tempered glass. If the project goes as planned, I might start making a few to sell. The project started out of the desire to have a PC that I could use as a media center and gaming rig for my living room. MY friends and I took some old DDR2 parts and a Intel Core 2 Duo and shoved them in an old gutted amp. We liked the form factor so much I figured i'd take a swing at making a legit version. This version of the case is designed to fit an MATX motherboard, full size GPU, ATX PSU, and is built for air cooling at this point. I find myself running out of ideas on what else I need to add or how I can improve the design so any advice would be much appreciated. I will be posting a populated version later. * These are 3D .pdf renders and will need to be opened in Adobe Reader DC. MATX Render.pdf
  4. I'm in an interesting situation with what I would like my computer to be able to do. I'm an engineering student in college and my laptop is perfectly capable for all of those uses. However, I'm looking at building my own pc for use with CAD and large excel spreadsheets (I run my own engineering side business), video editing for my gopro action videos, and for gaming in 1080p/1440p at an average or above average standard. My budget on the high end for the pc itself is around $1,700, but lower is better if it suits my needs. Below are the items that I am looking at. I'm posting here to get suggestions and advice since this is my first build. CPU - AMD Ryzen 1600/1600x/1700 or Intel i5-7600k/i7-7700k. I'm not sure what one would be the best for 3D modeling and video editing. If I can get by using the cheapest of these, then that's fine. But if the upgrade to a higher end cpu would be a better move for my needs, then I'm open to that too. Motherboard - This would have to be compatible with whatever cpu I go with above. Should I be looking for usb-c and a digital audio output? I'd like the motherboard to have quality sound, so any extra features or upgrades for that are a plus. RAM - 16gb DDR4, not sure what RAM speed is sufficient GPU - NVIDIA GTX 1070 or 1060 6gb. I'm assuming the 1070 would be a better move since I'd like to game in 1440p, but let me know different if the 1060 works well enough. What brands are the best? Storage - 1tb Western Digital Caviar Blue 7200 rpm with a 250 gb SATA or NVME SSD. I'm not sure if the upgrade to an NVME for M.2 would be more beneficial given the demand of 3D modeling and video editing, or if I should just stick with SATA. CPU Cooler - If the ryzen is best for me, what cooler would you recommend if not the wraith cooler? If an Intel chip, what cooler would be best? I plan on overclocking, so would a closed water cooler be the way to go? PSU - As far as I'm aware, this doesn't matter as much as long as it has a good rating and meets my needs. I was thinking an EVGA 500B or 600B Case - Cooler Master MasterBox 5 OS - Windows 10 Monitor - This is where I'm really having trouble. What refresh rate should i be looking for, 144hz? Is G-Sync beneficail, or not worth the extra money? I'd prefer 1440p, but if there isn't anything that fits alongside the first 2 standards, then I'd be fine with a 1080p in which case I'd downgrade to a gtx 1060 since that handles most games at 1080p well enough. I really don't want to spend more than $600 on a monitor in addition to whatever my pc costs in the end. I already have a gaming keyboard and mouse, so I'm set there. Thank you for any input and help you are able to provide.
  5. Hi, I want to buy a laptop that suits all my needs but I have a maximum budget of around 1000 dollars/euros (I live in Europe). Firstly a brief introduction, I'll be going to university next year, but I'm not sure whether to study mechanical or electronic engineering, so, I don't actually know what laptop I should buy. I read that for heavy duty CAD like, for instance, SolidWorks, Quadros are the best graphics cards that you can get, but, I'm reluctant to buy this kind of laptop because, outside the 3d designing/rendering world, I feel like having one of these GPUs isn't actually worth the money. I also spend some time outside my home on a monthly basis and during summer break, when I have days off in general. At the moment, whenever I have some long breaks (Summer...) I tend to carry my main computer, which is composed of a GTX 780ti, 16 gigs of ram and an i7 4770k, which runs SW2016 reasonably well if I don't use a lot of assembly parts at the same time, but that I doubt it would be the best choice for university. The thing is that when I'm not home for a couple of days I waste a lot of work time because I don't have a reasonable good computer on hand and, in a year, I don't think I'll be able to carry my main PC because I'm planning on studying abroad. So, the main question, What laptop should I get considering my budget? I want to be able to work with SolidWorks fluently but I would also like to be able to have the raw horsepower that a gtx offers. I mean, summer break is a nice time to do some work but also to play/ edit video, stuff that cannot be done properly with a Quadro (I've read that GTX render faster than Quadros) Thanks in advance, Alex
  6. I was messing around on Dells website and noticed that the model with a 1050 ti and 256GB ssd is currently the same price as the base model, or $210 off. I think this is due to some sort of clerical error in an advertisement (advertised as 1060 laptop) and that there is now a scramble to make the Inspiron lineup more appealing. Anyhow, it lasts until the 31st so check it out if you're interested! http://www.dell.com/ca/p/inspiron-15-7567-laptop/pd?ref=PD_OC
  7. Hello! I am building my elder brother a desktop to be used for 3D modelling, programs RAM heavy such as Revit, CAD, and Tekla. Budget: If at all possible I think around $1500 CAD max is my goal. RAM: I believe the better choice for such high memory intensive application is 32 gb, but almost doubling the price from a 16 gb kit seems like a lot, and I was wondering if the cost to performance ratio was worth it for the 32 gb. CPU: I was thinking the 7700k, having a high core count and a very high effective speed for a decent price, I think this is the right choice, but feel free to change this up. GPU: This is where I think I can save some money, my brother says he doesn't render very much right now but he will in the future, so I was thinking something like an RX 460 or 470? I know the jump in performance is huge between the two but the price is also an extra $100 dollars or so. And the GPU isn't as crucial. Storage: I was thinking an 850 evo, 250gb, supplimented with a 2 tb that he already owns. MOBO: I think the cheapest kaby lake is fine? Something like an Asus Prime Z270-P The fans, cooler, and other extras are all not important, just the above is what I would appreciate help with! If you have any ideas on keeping this price low, or you have a build already completed for a 3D modelling, high RAM usage build, let me know! Thanks!
  8. Hello all, I'm trying to 3D Model and then 3D print molds for some custom model rocket nozzles. I've used 3D modeling software in the past for many projects such as Cinema 4D and 3DSMaxx, however this is my first experience using AutoCAD. I made a 2d drawing and then revolved it 360 degrees, however this apparently is not considered an exportable solid to an stl file. I understand why what I am trying is not working as technically I only have a surface not necessarily a solid, however I do not understand how to convert this into one. Essentially it's just a cone similar object (keyword similar) that I designed a 2D path for and want to revolve 360 degrees to make a solid. I attached a couple pictures from CAD and linked the .dwg file. The top of the picture is my attempt at making the path into a 3d solid and the bottom of it is the 2 paths that I want to make into 3d solids. Thanks for the help, I know this is a very basic issue. 1.0in Nozzle.dwg
  9. Hi all, I'm in need of a powerful workstation and I'm undecided between building one myself or buy an "old" Dual XEON workstation to improve it. 1) I will use it mainly for number crunching (Computational fluid dynamics and genetic algorithms) and CAD, it will be my main system as well. 2) I don't do a lot of games at the moment and I definitely don't play the latest titles. 3) I will run mainly Ubuntu as my OS but I need Windows for CAD so I was thinking about dual booting. 4) I'm on a low budget < 800 Euros. 5) It needs to be quiet and reliable since it will run even at night some time. I've been scanning the internet for quite a while now, there are a lot of HPZ600 Dual XEON out there but what really got me interested is this: - DUAL CPU XEON X5670 (2,93 GHz - 3.33 MAX) - 24 GB ECC DD3 RAM - 1 HDD 1 TB SATA 3.5" - AMD FirePro V7900 2 GB VRAM - WIN 10 PRO pre installed. All of this for less then 600 Euros, it come with a 1 year warranty for everything but the graphic card which is given a 3 years warranty from AMD (so it seems the GPU is brand new). The Z series has a solid reputation and this workstation seems to have pretty solid spec, the CPU is still relevant today (and there are 2 of them!!), enough RAM and a more then decent new professional graphic card. The alternative is building one myself: - CPU processing power is king, I'd really like a dual CPU (or at least a mobo supporting 2 CPU for later addition). - AMD seem to be quite good value for the money, is it even possible to build a dual AMD CPU system with my budget? - GPU is not that important since I don't run latest games. - Plenty of RAM is a necessity. - I need it to be reliable and quiet. - I need to run Linux in dual boot with Windows. What do you think? Can I beat the preassembled HP workstation with my budget? I'm not gonna lie the Dual XEON processor is really tempting. Please consider I never built a PC myself :-/ . Any suggestion/opinion is appreciated.
  10. Hello, I've recently been presented with the need to work a lot from home and as such am in need of a good workstation. However, I'm not familiar with the current market or a workstations requirements. In addition, I need this relatively quickly and don't exactly have a lot of time to do research, so I'd greatly appreciate some help. I have experience with multiple gaming PC builds in the past and am looking forward to the build, but I'd like some suggestions on what suites my needs before I buy anything. I don't want to jump in and impulsively buy gaming parts if they don't fill my need. I'm an architect and mainly use AutoCAD and Rivet, as well as various Adobe products and Microsoft Office. Focus is primarily program performance but I'd like the ability to play the occasional game comfortably. I'd like to spend $800-$1000 USD (Looking to take advantage of Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals) but wouldn't be opposed to extending that if it truly makes sense. My hope is to get about 6-7 years of practical use out of it before needing to upgrade again. I have a few things I'd like answered but feel free to extend beyond. Open discussion and build suggestions desired. I'd like to stick with Intel for the CPU. Should I buy an i7 or Xeon processor? Assuming I do a lot of rendering, more cores on a Xeon would be helpful but is it really needed for a home workstation? If so, is it recommended to have a dual Xeon motherboard? I realize this will push me over the price point but again, if it makes sense then I'd rather be able to get my work done efficiently than restrict myself with a cost limit. Thoughts on second hand Xeon via eBay? If i7 makes more sense, the 6700K seems to be the best option at the moment; thoughts? Given the programs CPU heavy use, would it make sense to water cool? I'll be using a full tower with good air flow but I'm not sure how hot this will get under load. I know there is gaming specific RAM on the market. Is there RAM designed for CAD use as well? I'm not educated on timing or frankly RAM in general, so a quick explanation would be appreciated. Depending on the CPU and RAM recommendations, please recommend a motherboard that would make sense. I'm currently working on an old rig running two 1080p monitors off a GTX9800. I will likely be upgrading to a 4K monitor in the future for added real estate to work in, but will not be purchasing a monitor at the moment. GPU requirements would be the ability to run my current two monitors with the future ability to output 4K, as well as being able to run the occasional casual game comfortably. Since the programs aren't GPU heavy, I assume SLI or Crossfire is pointless, correct? PSU obviously depends on my power needs from the other components, but I'd like to avoid anything below an 80 Plus Silver rating. I'll be using a current HDD for random files but am in need of a good SSD for running Windows and programs. Feel free to ask anything I may have left out. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
  11. Hello, i want your help to build my friend's PC. He want PC for modeling of engineering components using CAD, SolidWorks (Solid Edge) and Eplan programs and too for normal daily usage. He want silent and long time functional PC too. This PC isn't for gaming. My friend have Dell Vostro 420, so we will use his case, if we can (we will must, before buy, remeasure dimension for GPU and CPU cooler). If you think, that it is verry bad case, we can use another new one. My first test is this: https://www.czc.cz/3156mop300hnu9s9cv8k048u8a/seznam (cca 1100$) - sorry for link from czc.cz, but i'm from Czech Republic, and this website has, for me, the best list. 1, I dont know lots of about GPU. Its better use GTX 1060 or RX 480. GTX 1070 or cheap Quadro/FirePro card? 2, About motherboard. I dont know why spend more for motherboard. Can this motherboard adjust FAN control? 3, CPU cooler, will it be enought? I read review for Fera 2, and it was verry well rated. 4, RAM, how many RAM memory need this programs? 5, I dont know, if PSU, HDD and SSD are right choice. Ok sorry for bad english. I dont know these programs verry well so i hope, that you will help me. Thank you for helping ideas!
  12. Hello , I'm an Architect Student. I'm located in Indonesia. I'm planning to build a new PC. it will be used mainly for CAD, ARCHICAD, SKETCHUP, V-RAY, PHOTOSHOP, and RENDER (maybe game a bit). But in the future, i'm planning to learn and use REVIT, BLENDER, 3DMAX, Other. My budget for the PC only is 1700 USD/IDR 2.000.000,00 and this build is only about the PC tower, But if anyone can recommend a good Display that have a great color accuracy with budget in mind, please let me know! This is My build proposal, Please tell me if there are any problem, any overkill, any recommendation and other. My Initial plan is that I'm using this pc to render image using V-ray for Sketchup. So I thought to prioritize for CPU first, then GPU. because i heard V-ray for Sketchup doesn't utilize GPU that much. But i'm planning to upgrade the gpu later, if i Able to use the Vray for 3DMAX, and other software mention above. Thank you and have a nice day!
  13. Hey there! I am looking for a laptop for my sister. She turns 16 and attends a school for architecture. So she will be using CAD Programs and some other 3D software. So now my question: do these programs profit of multi threading(i7?) or is a good external GPU more important(960/70m?)? And if u have some good suggestion another important point is that it will need to be handy so she can carry it to school and back easily(light, reasonable sized). PS: Bugget is around 800€
  14. Hi, I am currently running a basic, and oddly balanced (i'll explain later) system that I use for school and gaming. I have worked with Inventor and Solidworks on it with little to no issue in the past but recently I started using flow simulations and have had some problems. The system becomes incredibly unresponsive, everything is stutters, the programs crash from time to time, and it basically prevents me from doing work. My specs are listed below and in depth on my profile and I basically am looking for recommendations for upgrades. I am a student on a tight budget - $400 CAD. Specs: AMD FX-8350 (got free from family with a HP AM3+ mobo), 8gb DDR3 ram, Radeon R7 360 gpu, Corsair CX600m psu, Corsair H60 AIO cooler, 2 Bitfenix spectre pro fans, 2 arctic cooling rev 1.2 rans, nzxt fan controller, all inside a bitfenix prodigy m case.
  15. Hi guys I need help finding a pre-built computer,I want to build a Computer but I have no time and I dont know how please suggest me one worth less than $800 CAD, that can runs Gta V,Battlefield,Overwatch,League of Legends and CS GO at 1080p mid-high settings at a decent fps =D
  16. Hi guys, im new here and i really need some help. Im going to uni in a couple of weeks and i need a laptop that can run the latest version of Solidworks as well as run some games like CSGO and Rocket League at high settings. Im seeing several laptops around like the helios 300, asus ROG, dell xps 15. I have around £1400 ($1800US) and was wondering if you guys could help me find a laptop that will run everything smoothly at high settings if its possible. Cheers.
  17. Hi everyone I've been thinking about getting a 3D printer but I have no idea what to get. I have a budget of around 1000Euro. One thing I'm looking for is value, if it need be I can increase the budget. In addition to that is fillament printer specific or universal? If it is printer specific can you look out for a printer with reasonable fillament prices? The machine should be able to work with PLA and ABS, any more materials would be great Shoot any questions my way! Thank you very much in advance Tugas
  18. So I have a family friend that I built a Workstation PC for in December of 2015, it is used for an architecture business ( Specs link https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YgKXwV ), primarily programs including AutoCAD 2016, Revit 2016 and Sketchup. Last week the person I built the system for reported that they had been experiencing long loading times and freezes while making any small or large changes to specific AutoCAD file. Since then i have updated all drivers, cleaned the registry, updated windows and All of the programs. The problem still persisted. I then did some testing and monitored everything with Aida64, MSI afterburner, and Task manager. When opening one of the files that has issues ( it takes up to 5 min sometimes) there is no load on anything in the computer. CPU usage goes up to around 15% while opening the file. I can confirm that it is not thermal throttling the CPU or GPU, the system memory is not being used even close to max, neither is the VRAM or the GPU, non of the drives in the PC are being used to any large amount at all. And still it takes a very long time to open the files. Also I have confirmed that the GPU is recognized by AutoCAD and it is selected for hardware aceleration. Does anyone know what could be causing these issues, I am really out of ideas.
  19. Dear community, I follow linustechtips on youtube already for a few years now and really like the content and information on the several platforms. It is obvious that the company has gathered an immense amount of knowledge around the topic of the digital area. Hence, I put my trust in linustechtips and the community surrounding it to help me in a seemingly simple matter. I am looking for a decent laptop for work and that's the reason for my first post on this forum. My requirements (I know, that a laptop is not made for this kind of workload but at the moment I cannot afford to buy both workstation and laptop): Can easily run CAD applications like Inventor, SolidWorks, Siemens NX also when working on large assemblies Decent render time of 3D objects Decent compute time for finite element analysis Handles photoshop and premiere (only small projects) Not too gamery look since I need it also for meetings Lightweight (ideally not more than 2kg) and portable as I carry it around a lot not larger than 15.6" (for use in the train) and not smaller than 14" Screen resolution of 1080p is ok, color accuracy would be preferable (I can live without it as long as I can work with an external monitor) Good battery life (ideally >=4h under full load) which is probably unrealistic Price around 2000 CHF (since I live in Switzerland), maximum 3000 CHF If it can be combined with something like a razor core the requirements on rendering, fea, ps and pr can be dropped So far, the best match I could find was the Dell XPS 15 with 32 gb of ram. However, the gtx1050 is probably rubbish when used for fea and while Inventor does support consumer grade graphic cards most other CAD programs do not. Otherwise, only professional grade hardware remains and that will blow my budget right now. Does anyone has a recommendation for a device or combination, which meets my requirements? Thank you for your help Cella
  20. My current laptop just isn't cutting it for the workload that I'm asking it to do. I'm planning to build my first pc and would like some input. I'm an engineering student in 3rd year from B.C., Canada, so if Canadian pricing is preferable. I'm not set to a specific constrained budget (which is sort of a problem as my build keeps getting more expensive), but I'd like to keep under 1000 CAD. My primary use will be for school, and possibly some light gaming, although to justify it to my parents it's for my school workload. The primary workload I have for school is design work, primarily with Solidworks, although I am also using the Altair software suite. Along with this design work, are simulations to validate the designs. While working on designs for my school's formula SAE team, we have quite large assemblies which really strain my current laptop ( open the file and come back 3 minutes later kind of performance). With that in mind here is my build. I don't have to pay for windows thanks to my school CPU Ryzen 5 1500X CPU Cooler Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO Motherboard ASRock - AB350 Pro4 ATX Memory G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Storage ADATA - Premier Pro SP600 256GB 2.5" SSD Video Card Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Case Deepcool - TESSERACT SW ATX Mid Tower Power Supply EVGA - B3 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/marriokart/saved/76jccf I'm not set on the 1050 Ti, I may try to pick up a used quadro, as Solidworks can't make use of non-workstation cards. I would also consider an intel build, especially with coffee lake,as Solidworks is much better optimized for intel, although ryzen seems to be much better value. I'm going to add a HDD at a later time,I don't tend to use a whole lot of storage. Any tips or recommendations would be very appreciated.
  21. Heya all, So I'm beginning at a new school soon and but I can't decide on a laptop to use. I will have to use programs like Solidworks and CAD. i'm not expecting that it will be very intense but I still want a good systeem that if I have alot of parts it will run smoothly. I know that I'll atleast need an I5 proccesor and 8GB ram to make it work smoothly, but i'm not sure yet if I need an Nvidia or AMD graphics card. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of less than €1000. The theme I'm going for is as least "gamer" as possible, sleek, light but powerfull.(I know that wont work but i can still dream :P) I've been looking at the HP Omen (I know its a gamer laptop but that is in my opinion still a nice laptop that doesn't SCREAM gamer... just says it), HP Spectre and HP Envy. (Alot of HP now that i think about it) the laptops in my mind have a nice look to them and seem to be good for a student. and as I see it a fair price. Although most don't have a dedicated Nvidia/AMD card. Of course i'll want a game or two on the laptop but I've built a PC that handles the big games so games are not really neccesary. So all in all can I run Solidworks, Autocad and do coding on a I5/I7 laptop with 8GB RAM without a Nvidia/AMD graphics card? P.S. I don't live in America so I probably wont be able to get a particular laptop one might suggest, I can look for a laptop with equal(-ish) specs. P.P.S. there is probably already someone with a similar question on the forum i just couldn't find it If there is anything else that needs to be said I'll be happy to awnser.
  22. I plan on building a new PC in December this year. I heard that Coffee Lake and a refresh of Ryzen will be coming around that time. I will be using the PC for SolidWorks and gaming. SolidWorks (CAD) modeling benefits most with an extremely high single-threaded clock speed. I will not be rendering much. I might purchase a motherboard before then and I wanted to know whether Coffee Lake will be on X299 or some new Z370 chipset. Also are there any articles with rumors (or confirmed specs) of the clock speeds of upcoming Ryzen and Coffee Lake CPUs?
  23. I've come up with a few laptops that'll be used for light CAD and Gaming. I have no idea which is better and I only have £1400 to spend (around $1100US) and need help. I've decided between: dell inspiron 15 7000 hp omen 15t dell xps15 (only if I can find a really good deal) Helios 300 predator Can you guys help me choose? I need at least 16gb ram, a 1050 at least and prefferably a decent SSD. The screen and looks of the laptop are important too. p.s if this is in the wrong place I'm sorry I'm new to these forums
  24. Hey guys, This is my third build and I was asked by a friend of mine to build him a workstation that he would use for CAD and rendering 3D objects. He wanted a mATX case so it'd be slightly more portable. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? Workstation PC
  25. im new into CAD designing, mostly Metalwork stuff. now i got Intellicad (Autocad Clone basically), just wondering what people here use CAD and looking for people to talk to About CAD and learn more about the program and what people are doing. not here to steal idea's from people, but happy to talk to people and bounce idea's. would like to see a community CAD chat put in here as well, not sure how many people here use CAD im happy to talk to anyone starting and or experienced users about CAD related stuff. learn some new tricks.
