Hello guys, i bought the ProArt RTX 4060, yes i know 8gb vram and other things, but i like this card, i wantet to test it in a game, the Fans startet spinning and in 1 or 2 was a Light grinding noice, do i return it and get a New one of These or should i let the Fans run for a little bit, maybe its gone after, i dont know, pls help, its my first ever card.

I've lately been having a problem where my hyperx headset cable is too short, and for that I've bought a 3.5 mm jack extension. Everything seemed fine at first, but when i was talking to my friends on discord, they told me about a static noise they've been hearing from my mic, and that they could hear their own voice through my mic. I spent a ton of time figuring out what might be causing this (reinstaling my realtek audio drivers, checking my various audio setting etc.). I've found that if I connect my headset to my laptop without any extension cable I still get the weird audio leak (even though I haven't notice that hapening before). I've tried buying a new 3.5 mm jack extension, still have the same issues as before. My HyperX Cloud 2 headset also comes with an 3.5 mm jack to usb extension dongle that has an inbuilt audio card. I've tried using that too but for whatever reason my mic sounds quieter and worse when using that. The audio leak issue and the buzzing noise seem to be gone though, but I don't know if I'm willing to accept the volume/quality downgrade. These issues I've been having are starting to get really frustrating and I have no idea what to do. I would really appreciate some advice. Thank you.

My friend today bought new monitor from samsung. It's Samsung C27F390F. The monitor emits buzzing noise. Monitor have two inputs, VGA and HDMI. The noise is only emited when connected via HDMI, we tried different cables, but that didn't help. Noise is more intense, as we turn brightness up. When using VGA noise is gone, even on max brightness. Any suggestions?

So the last couple of days I’ve noticed this sight buzzing noise from my computer , most noticeable when loading into game lobbies such as warzone and battlefield 5 , now I’ve run stress tests on aida64 for the ram cpu and gpu none of which re create the noise , I’ve got down and had a listen to the computer to see if I can pinpoint the noise , my guess is power supply (Corsair cx650m which is new since January ) all temps in game are good so I’ve no real red flags as to what the problem may be ? CPU has a light over clock as well as the gpu but that was done about a month ago so I don’t know if that’s the culprit. Hi My PC that i built almost a year ago started making a weird noise for a few days and i don't really know from where it comes. The sound is pretty much random , sometimes start and sometimes stops for a few hours and then starts again. So, I built my third PC like a month ago. I went with a big budget to create my dream build. My specs are down below. The issue is : the day I started to use my PC, I noticed weird buzzing sounds. As time passed, it became more and more annyoing. To explain, every little movement I do with my mouse creates sort of a buzzing sound coming from the motherboard area (I put my ear as close as possible to identify where the noises from, and it really comes from around the CPU). + whenever my CPU is under load, the same kind of noise happens, but at a higher volume. In addition to that, my GPU has a ton of coil whine, even undervolted. Im in a desperate need of help, since I dont know what to do. I spent a lot of time and a lot of money for this build to be my work/gaming station, and as it is right now it's very unpleasant to use... Thanks to anybody reading this. Hey All, I am having same problem with a number of GPUs in my PC, below my specification: Windows 10 (64 bit) Motherboard bios F14 (newest) Ryzen 5600X Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite 1.0 16 GB Viper Steel 3733 CL17 PSU 600 W Bronze SilentiumPC Vero M2 (local brand in Poland but good quality) 2 NVME SSD 2TB PNY CS3040 and 1TB Kingston A2000 GPUs I have tried: 3 versions of 6600XT (Gigabyte, Powercolor, XFX) 3060 from Asus, Powercolor 6700XT Always newest drivers PC is running great without any problems but the noise is just unbearable. Difficult to register with my phone but if you listen on 100% volume you will definitely hear this. Under full load there is a strange buzzing noise coming from the gpu area. After trying 5 different GPUs I am pretty sure the issue is not on this side. I used to have RX 570 4GB on this setup and it was silent. Of course it had coil whine but only above 300 frames and on stock voltage. My display is a 75hz so limitng FPS and undervolting allowed me to make it completely silent even under full load. I tried the same with new cards but it didn't work. I tried another PSU this time 550W Gold (with 6600XT so enough power) same problem. PSU was tested by me and later by PC service and it is running great (all voltages idle/load are correct) They even tested it with 1080Ti and supposedly there was no noise. It seems strange that older GPUs would work fine. I limited all cards to PCIe 3.0 - didn't work. Disconnected 4.0 SSD - didn't work. Replaced Motherboard battery - didn't work. I am thinking Motherboard VRM or something like that. When in idle there is a similar noise near the cpu but much less intensive. You need to listen carefully. When CPU is under some strees this one disappears. Regarding the video from 0:06 to 1:00 I am running Unigine Heaven 4.0. You will notice the change of noise after 1:00. Then in the benchmark there are credits and for 4 seconds fps goes very high and you can hear classic coil whine. That I could accept but this buzzing noise is killing me I would really appreciate your help and ideas Thank you

https://imgur.com/gallery/5AodiWo so i have this noise you heard in the middle of that clip coming from my pc. it has been annoying me to no end and have not been able to figure out what is making it. it came after i changed cpu cooler (to a noctua NH-d15) but i have gone from 20% fan speed all the way up to 100% fan speed on my cpu and other fans in my pc and the sound doesnt appear at all when i try that. it only appears while im in idle and just browing on my pc. while im playing games i have not been able to hear it. sometimes the sound can be very frequent or just once a few minutes. i am beginning to think it might be one of my two hdd's but the sound is appearing even as both are at 0% usage in task manager i really need help cause its making me want to throw the case out and just use a cardboard box

Hi folks! I recently upgrade my system from an old FX-8350 + AM3 platform to a 10600k + Z490 and weird stuff start happening. Since the moment I turned on the PC for the first time after the upgrade the screen flashes a blue screen with pink striped borders followed by a full pink screen, after that Windows boots normally. After not having success with neither of the two XMPs I tried some memory OC profiles from Memory Try it! (the mobo is MSI) starting with 4000Mhz: Cinebench.......OK! Prime95 Large FFT 2h.......OK! Prime95 Large FFT 4h.......FAIL! So, back to the BIOS and next on the list was 3866Mhz: Cinebench.......OK! Prime95 Large FFT 2h.......OK! Prime95 Large FFT 4h.......OK! Satisfied with the result I decided to call it a day and go to bed. The next day I turn on the machine (the pink screen still happens, I assume it must be a board glitch or something) and start a 12h gaming session with no issues, no drops, no freezes, high frames, everything was perfect. The day after that (today) I turn on the game and after 30 minutes or so the PC freezes with a buzzing sound. I've seen these before often related to unstable memory OC, so once again back to the BIOS now testing 3400Mhz: Cinebench.......OK! Prime95 Large FFT 2h.......OK! Prime95 Large FFT 4h.......OK! Now I turn on the game and I notice frames dropping till the image freezes but the game sound keeps rolling normally and I can terminate the game's process and keep using the PC (browser, Discord, etc) like nothing happened. So I decided to undo any OC on the memory, now sitting at 2133Mhz and I don't run any test. The game image freezes after a couple of minutes so I rollback to some 2019 drivers that seems to be the most stable ones for an RX 470 (19.9.1) and the ones I used for a long time with my previous combo. With the old drivers installed I run the game for a couple of hours with no issues, then suddenly the card goes jet engine with the fans at 100% when the temps are barely hitting 60C. I reset the fans by turning ON and OFF the auto mode in MSI Afterburner (this happened before but no with the fans going 100%) and after a couple of minutes again, game image freezes with sound going and I can terminate the process. So I'm having some trouble trying to decipher which part or parts are causing the system instability and need some advice in this area, any help will be highly appreciated.

It appeared today, but PC was used with current parts, for at two months. and if it's coil whine - can it be related to the new games/software installed? It was the only thing that changed Problem and troubleshooting steps: When PC is on higher load - somewhere from the are between CPU and GPU buzzing noise started appearing. The noise itself: Recording consists of three parts: 0) Started random high demanding game (e.g. "Red dead redemption", new "Tower of Fantasy", "Assassins Valhalla") 1) Buzz started, it is constant. 2) Alt-tab'ed and started anything to get windows account control pop-up. The noise becomes more like "clicking". 3) Closed pop-up - back to initial noise. From task manager, it looks like utilization matches the change of noise: For GPU I was a bit late to grab a screenshot, but also can see when noise changes in the video: Then I have tried to run CPU and GPU benchmarks simultaneously: > when only CPU running 100% - no noise > when only GPU or CPU and GPU running, both 100% - lower noise, like half of it And I'm pretty sure sound is not coming from the PSU - PSU is in bottom compartment, and it can be heard coming out of top of the PC case. When opened - sound is somewhere in the middle. And as tested with WIndows prompt - it immediatelly reacts, so I don't think it is some kind of vibration resonanse. Hi, so i bought and used Pc, but my problem comes when i play dome games, fór example, when i play warzone 2.0 nothing happens but when i play drug dealer simulator my graphic card stars Buzzing, its not continuos the Buzzing go Up and Down and its really annoying, when i opened the case, and put a little Pressure on graphic card it stops, but when i release it again starts Buzzing, any help or solutions?

So I just got this new 4tb WD Blue HDD from their Amazon Store. This is technically the second one now as the first started making a brief, rhythmic grinding noise while copying my files to it. This replacement just made a similar, more of a buzz-like sound for a few seconds. I'm used to drives being louder when writing data to them, but so far these drives are ultra quiet, so the buzz is very obvious if it happens. I'm copying 1.86tb to it when this sound happens so I'm wondering if since this drive is abnormally quiet, is this a normal amount of noise on occasion while copying or is this possibly the second HDD they've sent that's a fail? (The rhythmic part is what's making me uneasy really.)

Hello i have recently noticed my windows 10 desktop is producing static noises when adjusting volume. the static is very slight but when going from 0-100 volume you can notice it I have used other headsets and the problem persists and even uninstalled the realtek audio drivers and reinstalled. I have even unplugged front audio to test the motherboard audio ports and the same thing happens and jumped on my surface pro 4 to test the audio but wont happen on the surface pro. im sure its my motherboard and if so how can i fix it. Anybody hear this sound coming from their computer? It sounds like a constant electrical buzz thats a lot louder than coil whine. its hard to tell but i think its coming from the psu. I actually replaced the PSU and it was ok for a bit, but the noise came back. When i tip the pc over on its side the noise goes away for a bit but comes back. Could somebody help me figure out whats causing this annoying noise? Hi guys, Today I installed my new gigabyte rtx 2060 windforce and started playing around with some overclocking on it. When Heaven was running, temperatures went up to about 76c which is fine. But when the fan speed exceeded 80%, the (I think it's only one fan) starts buzzing. It's not a high noise but it is noticeable while wearing a headset. No, it's not coil whine! Could this just be the rotor doing weird at high rpm or something? Idk Also, when I change the fan speed in afterburner to a higher rpm, the fans will go up like 200 rpm higher for about 1 second and then quickly turn back to 'normal speed'. And that is not a consistant speed, but rather hovering between (f.e. 1500 and 1600 rpm). Do you guys now what's causing these issues? Let me know!

Hello all, That's my first post actually so if its in the wrong section i am sorry! I've made my first skylake build like a month ago, everything was running smoothly until i've hooked up a palit 650 ti oc 1gb gddr5. Before i go to the point my specs are: GA-Z170X-Gaming G1 (rev. 1.0) i7 6700k corsair ax760 corsair vengance led 32gb 3200mhz samsung 850 pro 128gb Windows 10 64bit I mainly use this for music production so i have a external soundcard focusrite 2i4(with two active yamaha's hs8 monitor speakers) to the DAC-UP port of the motherboard. As i mention before everything was running great without a problem until i plugged the gpu (also enabled ssd rapid mode). From that moment a get a buzzing noise from the speakers (not the headphones) like electricity noise or something like white noise changing pitch whenever i move or click my mouse. I've tried to do everything from changing usb ports,cmos resest to change the wall ac with no luck at all! Now even without the gpu on the pc i still get that noise. Any suggestion would realy help me. Thanks a lot! Update. I just realise if i trun on the pc with no ram on it, the buzzing noises are gone! So i guess is not something on the mobo, its something from the bios and after. I've tried 3 different bios with no luck of getting rid of the noises!

Hi there, the sounds starts after starting Ghost Recon: Wildlands and it can be noticed in the menu and so on, after closing the app, its gone. I also tried CPU stress test but the sound wasn!t there. Maybe the Kraken pump? So my astro a40 xEdittion headset starting making a buzzing noise on my friends side of audio which is annoying to him and we tried discord instead of the game however that did nothing, I tried uninstalling my audio drivers and reinstalling them but it did not fix the buzzing. I even went to go exchange my headset with the warranty i had with it but even with a new headset it still was buzzing. I tried using the back ports but did not change noting, idk what else to do. Would appreciate the help thanks

Hello, I need your help. it started 3 or 4 months ago, after a year of usage my gigabyte z390 aorus pro started to buzz heavily from the VRM area on the IO side, but not idle, the idle sound is minimal and I'd have to nitpick and get real close to hear it. the electrical sound only ramps up in Game, a heavy game... like Division 2 or Destiny 2, anything heavier than Diablo 2 or Synthetik. I've tried everything, disabled CPU boost, checked the PSU cables, sent the GPU, CPU, PSU and MOBO to RMA... got a new MOBO the 1st time I RMA'd (same model), still buzzing sound in games. sent it to RMA again, got a new MOBO and MSI this time, still buzzes. changed RAM to 2400 instead of 3200, disconnected the Corsair AIO RGB usb cable, changed PSU CPU power cable, even after RMA-ing everything. twice they said everything was ok, and they can't hear buzzing while testing it all. I don't know what to do. updates BIOS, downgraded BIOS... changed wall sockets, changed monitors, changed PC power cabels, changed DP screen cables. (all this after RMA, I still have warranty). reinstalled windows... disabled XMP... everything, tried everything I could. changed extension cords... everything. next thing I'm trying is changing the cooler, disabling all the RGB and RGB hub. Funny thing, IDK if it's a problem, but the CPU is base 3.6k and boost 4.7k Ghz, but it boosts on its own to 4840Ghz and a little beyond, I'm confused. Spec: MOBO - MSI z370 gaming pro carbon CPU - 9900k RAM - G.skill tridentZ 3200Mhz GPU - Asus Strix 2080ti SSD - Samsung 850 EVO 250Gb M.2 - Samsung 970 EVO plus NVMe 500Gb PSU - seasonic focus plus platinum 850W CPU cooler - Corsair H115i RGB PLATINUM 280mm AIO Got 3 Corsair ML RGB fans connected too, and a fan hub and the RGB controller that comes with the Corsair stuff and it's in a corsair case... not that it matters, it's a 500D. and the Screen is an Asus with G-syinc... I'm adding all this because I'm very desperate. Last note... it does not buzz (the VRM area near IO) when I bench in Cinebench or FurMark, but it does in 3Dmark. Again, the PSU, GPU, CPU, and MOBO got RMA'd, everything came back working and no noise was reported.RAM got changed, cables got changed. I would be very thankful for any help, I don't know what to do and I have a $3000 netflix watching brick on my desk. Listen in a higher volume, I recorded it not so great... but trust me, it sounds like a taser. opened and closed case.

I've tried my best at trying to figure out where the buzzing sound originates from and I'm a little stumped and not sure what to try/check next. I've read a bunch of forums before posting this but I couldn't find any information on what to do next. So far I've concluded that the buzzing sound only comes from the front headphone jack when the GPU is under load, i.e. when playing games. If I plug my headphones on the backside directly to the MB I won't get any buzzing sound at all. Realtek drivers are updated to the newest version from MSI website but nothing changed. I tried rerouting the audio cable from the MB to the front panel via the "left side" so that it was as far away from any other cable as possible without any change. I've disconnected both of the USB cables from the MB and front panel to conclude that it is not a USB ground issue. Everything is connected to one power strip and I've tried different outlets. But as you can see in this video https://imgur.com/a/NQwzzI3 I've noticed that I can make the "noise" sound a lot higher by pulling the headphone cable towards the back of the PC and if i push the cable slightly forwards I can make the buzzing sound disappear completely. And finally I noticed that if a push a little on the metal shield where the front PCB is mounted on, I can make the sound disappear aswell. I believe that it might be a ground issue? I think that when I move the cable I make some of the components in the front PCB touch the metal plating where the PCB is mounted on and it's then picked up by the audio jack. I'm not well educated in electricity and not sure how to check/confirm if this is true. I would like to try and lift off the PCB with the metal plating from the chassi but I'm afraid it could cause a short? I have a multimeter but not sure how to use it for this. Hello, my computer is making a buzzing noise and it's quite load as well. At first I thought it was the power supply, because when the computer was turned off the noise was still there, it only stopped when I turned the power supply off. However I bought a new power supply, but the noise was still there, I think it was not as loud know. The buzzing noise is not all the time, quite rarely to be honest, however is annoying when it does it. Any thought on what I can do?

Sounds like white noise, from my experience, sounds quite like a fan noise. I have to admit I did use my PC more than usual in the past two weeks, it was on for like 18h daily. Not sure if that matters but it might. My PC was turned off over night, and in the morning when i turned it back on it wasn't buzzing at first but then it started again. I use Corsair CX500 and it is two years old, also I live in another country now so I can't RMA but I can buy a new one. I personally do not mind the buzzing noise if it doesn't do any damage to my PC because I use a headset but I don't know how dangerous can it be and should I just replace it? My 500W is sufficient for my rig because I haven't changed or add anything in the past two years, and when I was buying it it was enough (with a little bit extra just in case). I don't know if I should post some more info on it, at the moment this is all I can think of, if you need some more info in order to give me advice, please say so. Thanks a lot in advance!

My PC specs: PSU: Corsair RM850 MOBO: Asus Maximus VII Ranger CPU: Intel Core i5 4690k @stock speeds atm RAM: 8gb G.Skill Sniper 1866MHz dual channel kit GPU: Asus Strix GTX970 DC2OC HDD: 1tb WD Blue 7200 SSD: Need some help with a choice, but more about it in another thread Case: Custom made, modified case from my i5 setup many many years ago....ghetto look with zipties and no room for side pannels...just something linus style, but hey, I actually did a really nice job with cable management and I take care about my components. So, here it is, my biggest concern of all the times...will my gpu make buzzing noise??? First time I've got a whining gpu was when I was 10. I didn't work for my parts back then so I didn't care too much. I ended up with a sound dampening side pannel and that was it, it was somewhat acceptable. Also, back in time, I didn't really have much choice, nor I knew anything except what my dad told me. First time I bought a gpu with my own money was when I was 16. It ran perfectly until ati released some new weird drivers. Over the past two years I've built 4 systems, one for me, with AMD gpu, and every one of them had issues with driver updates and display driver crashing. So I decided to go with Nvidia, once again, this one won't whine, I told myself. I googled for coil whine proof cards and I came across asus strix and rog series, which asus stated for are coil whine proof. Bad luck, I didn't google for 970 buzzing noise back then.... Anyway, I really need your help guys...first question is, although for me it is obvious it's not true, but is there a chance that cad/cam, cad programs demolish gaming gpu's? I don't see a reason since I am working with assemblys of parts that are up to 100 parts, and I don't find them very complex, yet very easy to drive with this kind of hardware. I have noticed buzzing noise when playing on my ips, while on tn it's already whining for some reason. IPS - 50fps, there is buzzing noise; TN - 31 and above, in 60's there is whine, on 120 it's unplayable due to the gpu whining, it just gets on my nerds. My main game is world of warcraft, in which I don't want to enable v-sync because of the impunt lag, and I want it to look crisp so I tend to stick to ips pannel for this one. Then, gta, 50 and above, it whines, I hate that noise. CS works fine, just a slight buzzing noise. But in general, although I don't see a reason, on tn 31 and above it sounds retarded, ips 30-50 it's buzzing, 50-60 whining, and when I disable v-sync it tends to go up to 200, where it sounds retarded. I've checked all my components, vents and everything, and I am 100% sure gpu is what makes the noise. Now, I wouldn't even bother with this, I would end up soundproofing my case and that's it. But since I've paid this much for my hardware, paid more for asus one than I would for msi one, just because asus claimed it is whine-proof and I would like to get a side windowed case to display my hardware, I don't want my pc to make any noises at all, specially because today it doesn't have to be noisy. I tried to kick the gpu fans to 55%, whine is louder than fans at that speed. I am trying to build a near silent pc, which would stand on my desk, and only noise I am expecting is to be the one coming from fans, maybe even hdd to be the loudest part when under load, but not my gpu. I don't know if there is any possible fix for this, or should I try to RMA it, will I get the whining one again? I would personally prefer to go with reference design cooler and reference card which would be louder, just to eliminate the whine. I am fine with the sound of air, as long as fans aren't on 100%, but not with the random electrical noise, specially if I paid not to get it. What should I do?
