Build Components: Are these Compatible: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 1 TB Hard Drive Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Corsair CV 650 W 80+ Bronze RTX 3070(If I can somehow get one) Also: While flashing the BIOS through flash button and usb in the above mentioned board, installation of CPU and Memory is not required, but what happens if the CPU and Memory is already installed, what happens when 1. the CPU is not compatible(here 3600)? 2. The CPU is not compatible but we let it be installed and do not remove it and use the flash button functionality, will the BIOS still be updated or is it necessary to remove the CPU and memory before USB based update of BIOS.

Budget (including currency): $800 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: - Civ 6 - Cities Skyline - Web development, image processing Other details: No peripheral needed. Need wifi. Hi everyone! I'm attempting my very pc build and this forum seems to be the place to go. I play only a few hours a month of gaming but when I do I like to have at least some decent graphics (my laptop just isn't doing it right). I'm quite overwhelmed with all the stuff that I need to learn and the complexity of it all. But I came up with a build and since I know nobody who can tell me whether or not it will fly, I decided to post it here and get other people to review it for me. CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 3400G 4-Core 3.7 GHz - $313 CAD Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX - $159.99 CAD RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) - $99 CAD SSD: Western Digital WD BLACK SN750 NVMe 500GB - $84.99 CAD PSU: EVGA 400 N1 100-N1-0400-L1 400W Power Supply - $49.99 CAD CASE: Cougar MX330-X Mid Tower Case - $49.99 CAD Total: $794.40 CAD (with shipping) The reason why I went with the Ryzen 5 3400G is because it seems to give me decent enough graphics for what I would use it to and it bypass my need to find a graphic card...which are very difficult to find. Thoughts?

Budget: 1000€ including peripherals and Monitor Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: light gaming (minecraft, genshin impact, small indie games) and software development (programming, debugging, sometimes 3D modeling) Other details: I need a full setup, so not only a PC but also a Monitor, speakers and a decent USB Hub. I already bought the Keyboard, thats why the price is set to 45. Links for HDMI Cables and the USB Hub arent included Hello. Below, i´ve included a PcPartPicker Link/List of my current choice for parts for my first build. I would like for someone to look over it and give input about anything sub-optimal or potential price-cuts. (Yes, its a igpu build. Due to the massive prices for gpus lately, i decided to go with a powerful Ryzen 7 APU) The build will mainly be used for Uni-Work (software dev) and light gaming (minecraft, genshin impact, smaller indie games). Still not very sure about that Monitor and power supply, so if anyone has better ideas than the ones I picked, i´d be happy to get hear some suggestions. Also note, that my choice for the case is not some random rgb case. I need an inverted design and there are only a very small amount of those for whatever reason. So this is the nicest looking somewhat payable case i found. I am mainly worried about the Ryzen 7 5700G not being able to use its full potential due to slow RAM or storage or a sub-optimal motherboard. Hello im in quite the predicament I have always heard 2 sides of one being that front rad mounting will result in 1-2 degree temp differance and another side saying that itll severely add worst cooling around 10c for the gpu or so and saying top mounting is the best way to go. I am asking for your opinion to quell this debate. I am upgrading to a 12700kf a z690 msi a pro ddr 4 motherboard and a Liquid Freezer 2 280m or 360m since my case only handles 280 top mount and 360m front mounting. This is the current Specs of my pc as i said I am upgrading the Cpu Motherboard and Cooler https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WWYsRT

Hi, I have no experience building pc's, especially not during a crazy shortage and absence prices. I am assembling a gaming/work pc for cousin. I've decided to go with this build : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KykkkX (Not really looking for a gpu upgrade atm (maybe except for a 2060), but comments/tips as for anything else are more than welcome). The case I'll be getting is an Antec Nx210 ( which for some reason doesn't exist on pc part picker). Besides those parts they also have an hdd (500 GB, don't know what brand, model, etc). I decided to use the Transcend ssd for the OS and use the sata3 2.5 WD blue for his games/programs but since they don't offer much storage I was wandering whether will my motherboard decision back fire at me or not - would I be able to add another ssd m.2 if need be? I saw on the motherboards website they mentioned something about the sata's becoming disabled if 2 M.2 are being used. Am I misunderstanding something? thanks in advance, Any help is appreciated.

The first thing of note is that I am limited to 75hz refresh rate, so If there are ways to shave down the build and make it under $1500 while keeping performance I am down for it! I don't honestly know much about mixing/matching parts, so your help would be much appreciated. I already have 2 8gb memory sticks, (that is why there is no memory in the list). If I am going to end up bottlenecking in any area, PLEASE let me know!!! I am a broke college student so this will be my baby. Thanks, McNugget

Hi it's my first time building a PC and I want to confirm whether these mentioned parts are compatible (work) with each other. 1st: tell me if all these parts I mentioned are gonna work together or not. 2nd: Suggest me if there's something I should improve or any advice. You can also mention if there's any bottleneck issue. Processor: AMD RYZEN 5 3600XT PROCESSOR (6 CORES 12 THREADS WITH MAX BOOST CLOCK OF 4.5GHz, BASE CLOCK OF 3.8GHz AND 35MB GAME CACHE) Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II Motherboard (Amd Socket AM4/Ryzen Series CPU/Max 128GB DDR4 4400MHz Memory) Graphics: ASUS Graphic Card GT1030-SL-2G-BRK GeForce 2GB GDDR5 for Silent HTPC Build (with I/O Port Brackets) RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHZ C16 Desktop RAM Storage: Western Digital Blue SN550 500GB M.2 NVMe Internal SSD (WDS500G2B0C) Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE 550 V2 230V SMPS - 550 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certification PSU With Active PFC So I chose GT1030 because it's just not possible for me to get proper priced graphics in this third world country, but I do plan to upgrade it in future when everything gets normal. So the gpu I mentioned will work in this setup? If anyone interested it costed me around 850-900$ Sorry for the grammatical mistakes/typos and inconvenience and Thanks You so much!

Other details: I'm planning to buy most of this system in a month or so, because I'm going to a best buy this Sunday to pick up a 3070 that i bought from them. I have a 165hz 1440p monitor, and I have most of this build planned out. When choosing my ram, I can't decide whether its better to get the ballistix memory that's already in my list, or go for G.Skill Trident Z memory. Also, would i gain a good amount of performance if I bought another 16gb kit of ram and got 32 total? Thanks for any help. Any opinions on anything else on the build that needs to be changed is appreciated as well, because I'm gearing up to start buying the rest of my components very soon. (P.S., should I change the SSD in there for something running at gen 4 speeds or are there any other SSDs that you would recommend?) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XhtCRT

Budget (including currency): I'm floating around $1800 USD for a budget but I wouldn't mind it being cheaper if diminishing returns become a factor Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA games, I like Space Engineers, besides games, I use AutoCAD and Solidworks, as well as CATIA for my schoolwork and for hobby Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have literally nothing but a mouse and keyboard and I have already built up a PC on the website, I am just wondering whether its worth 75 more dollars to purchase an 11600k over a 10600k because I like the idea of having both m.2 slots open in the motherboard I'm looking at, which I chose for Thunderbolt 4, as well as PCI-E 4.0 for future upgrade ability.
