I saw that the two mobo have different VRMs setup, wondering how they compare to each other as I am planning to buy either one for my build. They are similar in price in my place and they are at the limit of my budget if there are other alternatives for the same price. I will mainly use it for productivity, gaming (1080p), video editing and graphics design. I am pairing it with the gool ol' I5 12400 and RTX3070. Ah and I am also putting in my 2x8GB of Crucial Ballistix CL16 in there.

Budget (including currency): AUD$10,000.00 Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming: BG3, Anno, Skyrim Modded, Cities Skylines II, World of Warcraft Other details: Will be playing on 34" Ultrawide, upgrading to 49" OLED Hi all, dipping my toes into this wonderful world again. I am slowly putting together a build for my 2nd custom watercooling loop. I may buy decals and apply visible bits myself if I must Fans are a tossup between QX140s and the LianLi ones. Daisy chainable fans for ease of install and cable management is a must Setup will be 420 at the top, 420 at the bottom and Distro Plate at the back. Side panel to be left empty I am thinking of buying an additional 120mm fan for exhaust GPU brand is mostly from coil whine research. Gigabyte seem to be less prone to coil whine Main monitor is currently a 34" ultrawide, thinking of going into the Samsung 49" OLED in the future so I reckon I will make use of the 4090 Main games are BG3, City Skylines II, Anno Motherboard choice is mainly for the white theme. I dont seem to have much choices here in Australia Havent put fittings on the list, but I have accounted for them. Will be purchasing the main bulky frames first then figure out my loop once I have things visually in front of me Any feedback on this build would be most welcome. PS: Link to my first build - it leaked about 8 months ago, been able to salvage it and running it on air at this stage.

Budget (including currency): ~1150$ (400 000 HUF) Country: Hungary Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games and college work Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello guys. So i have a really old rig (i7 4790, GTX 750Ti), and i want to upgrade it in the next month, within a budget, but still want to future proof a bit. I don't have to by peripherals or monitor cause i have a Lenovo Thinkvision T27hv-20, so i want to play in 2k 75hz. I picked out a list of parts, which i think will work, but to be 100% sure i wanted to ask you guys what you think about it. I already bought a used asus 3070 dual OC edition, for 340$, so my build is around that, and the PSU as new. So my build looks like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nvgjL9 . If you have anything wrong with it please tell me cause i'm a beginner with pc builds, i built the computer i have, but these parts are a bit higher price than i already have. Thanks in advance for everyone who helps me.

My current PC is approaching 8 years old and starting to finally feel its age, would love some help on building a new one for the upcoming year! Budget: 1600-2000 CAD (Can go higher if the build includes parts that will absolutely boost it! or lower if I can get something just as good lol) Location: Canada Use: Gaming with the possibility of streaming/recording Peripherals required : Currently have two, need one replaced so a new monitor Operating System required: Windows 10 preferred Form Factor: ATX Colour Theme: Current PC is Black and Red, so a Blue and White aesthetic would be awesome, but this is not important if cost prohibits better parts. Current Build: GPU - AMD Radeon R9 380. CPU - AMD FX 6300 Six Core, Mother - Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3, RAM - 16gb 800MHZ DDR3 I'm a bit of an AMD fanboy at heart as my current build is AMD based and has been with me through thick and thin, but in all honesty it doesn't really matter, I'm looking for the best bangs for my bucks and if that happens to be Nvidia or even Intel then that is okay! I'll be playing a mix of games from LoL to Cyberpunk, so I need something that can handle low to high resource hungry games. I don't need 200fps on games like Cyberpunk (I'm used to to 30-40fps anyways lol), just something that can run at a minimum of 60! I appreciate any help you guys can give me

Budget (including currency): 300/350€ Country: Austria but can purchase from Germany, France and Switzerland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Baldur’s gate 3, general gaming and ideally streaming. Other details : Got this computer as a gift from a family member and as I don’t have a lot of budget I’d like to focus on upgrading it to be usable rather than purchasing a whole new build Here is what it contains so far : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vBMJmD Needs : A graphics card, an SSD and probably a new power power supply that would all be usable for a new build down the line when I have money to buy other components. Thanks a lot for any advice you can give !

Budget (including currency): 1600€ Country: Finland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming. Other details https://fi.pcpartpicker.com/user/SgtCoolest2/saved/zfn3RB PCpartpicker list. I'm mostly hoping to hear about the psu. Is it good? Will it go with my motherboard etc. If you have any ideas to save money I'm open as well. Thanks y'all :)!

Budget: ~$1500 Australian dollars for the PC itself, another $500 for things like display, peripherals, speakers, etc. Country: Australia Use case: Will be using it mainly for gaming (hopefully at 1440p) but would be nice to have some headroom for potentially streaming. Additionally, this PC will be using wifi because my router is way too far away to realistically use ethernet. I don't play any competitive games so this shouldn't be an issue. Aesthetics: I'd like to go with a white themed PC but I don't know how well that would match with the parts I've chosen... Parts list: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/FyWDz6 CPU: Ryzen 5600 - Seems to be the best value CPU in Australia, anything Intel is a huge price increase. Have thought about going with the 5700x for the two extra cores but not sure if I'd need them (and the upgrade + decent CPU cooler would be about a 33% price increase) Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard - Motherboard with WiFi 6E, a front panel USB-C header and good reviews. Cooler: I'm gonna be using the stock cooler. Don't plan to do any overclocking at the moment, so I think I'll get away with this? RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory - Cheapest DDR4-3600 CL16 RAM I could get. I've been told this is the sweet spot for Ryzen 5000 Storage: Crucial P5 Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive - Fast NVMe storage, reputabe brand. I have a 1TB Intel 660p NVMe drive on hand that I can chuck in for extra storage, too. GPU: Asus DUAL OC GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB Video Card - Cheapest 3070 I could find, good reviews. It's about 70 aussie dollars to get this over a 3060ti - I think this is worth it? Going with NVIDIA over AMD for DLSS and NVENC. PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 PE 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - Modular PSU with good reviews, I believe it also has some headroom for future upgrades. Case: NZXT H5 Flow RGB ATX Mid Tower Case - Nice looking case, comes with decent fans from what I've read. For the mouse and monitor, I just chose some placeholders to get a rough value of how much this will end up costing me. I've decided on a keyboard (Keychron V1) but not a mouse or display. Will be going to look at some displays today though! Appreciate any recommendations or part swaps for cost reductions or better value, and thanks for the help!

Budget (including currency): 2500€ +-100€ Country: Italy Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CS2, MSFS and other fps, open world or simulation titles; Autodesk Fusion 360. Other details: Good morning fellow builders, I'm reaching out to you to get some feedback, advices and help about my future PC build. i'm planning to purchase the parts during the black friday period so I can save a bit of money. Before leaving you with the PC Part Picker list I want to point out some things to make the most out of this thread: - For the RAM i selected the 6000MHz CL36 but if i go on Amazon IT i can get the 6400MHz at the same price but PPP doesn't pick this product up for some reason, which one should I get?; - The SSD selection is made in relation to the current prices, if other brands with the same specs will go on sale I'll buy them instead; - The aio I selected is overpowered or not? Will I be fine with the 240 or 280 versions too? I read that the new ryzen are very efficient in terms of thermals, but I don't want to take the risk of having my pc sounding like a fighter jet 100% of the time. And please do not suggest air coolers, I just can't stand the look of them; - Should i consider the 7900x processor instead of the 7800x3d? There is just a 20€ difference atm; - I'll use this pc for gaming and 3D modelling for 3D printing and industral manufacturing.Just modelling, very little rendering with textures or similar stuff. Other than this I'd like to have a white themed build, the mobo and the gpu are fine even if they are not white, both of them have white/silver accents and I quite like them. Here you have the PPP link, so you can take a look at it and share your thoughts: AMD White build November 2023 Bare in mind that I'm mind that I'm in Italy, so please make your comments based on the local market. Have a nice day and happy building!

I'm building a PC for a relative and I'm not getting a display this is the second mobo that I've used. I'm using a 12600k which has onboard graphics but I can't get a picture from the GPU or the onboard. When I install the the graphics card the 2070 into my own PC it works fine so I don't think that's the problem. And I tried using different ram slots and trying different ram with the same results. What could be the issue? Appreciate any help

Budget (including currency): around 2500-3000$ Country: Germany/Europe Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: All triple a games (God of War, Forza, Jedi:Survivor, Assasins Creed), Competitive Shooters and Racing Games. Important note: I play without Raytracing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I just want to build a new Gaming Pc because i have all other necessary components and i want to pair the PC with the Alienware AW3423DWF so I want to get that permanent 165hz and an ordinary 1080p monitor. I will also work with undervolting. And I am a little concernd about the second SSD Slot at the back of the mainboard in this case, also I know about the lenght of this GPU so if im not confident with this I will switch to the normal AMD costum design. I bought stuff for a new PC, and I would really appreciate if someone just pointed out where I'm supposed to plug the cables into my PSU? There's an image of the PSU and from pcpartpicker showing the things I'd need to plug in. But I'm quite confused. If someone were to just point out where to plug the things in I'd really appreciate it. thanks.

Budget (including currency): 1500 Euro Country: The Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: It will be a gaming PC. The games that I am planning on playing are RDR2, Witcher 3, Elden Ring, Warzone, God of War and the list goes on. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I would like to have at least 2TB of SSD storage. Bluetooth would be greatly appreciated but is not a dealbreaker if not available. As for a monitor it would be nice if you guys have any recommendations. What monitor would fit this kind of PC? I also got two builds recommended to me by my friends any thoughts? https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/4GQfNc Question coming from a first time builder: 1. Are there any tests I should run when I am done building the PC? 2. Is there anything I should be wary of when building the machine? 3. Will I need tools like a screwdriver or any other tool? If so would a regular screwdriver do the trick?

Budget (including currency): Whatever is worth spending, but not stupid Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Topaz AI, Photoshop, Lightroom Other details https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/6yWm6r Friend of mine who does photography asked me about building him a new system as his current one (4690k) is really struggling, and he doesn't know about PCs himself but he knows I've built a few personally. He's pretty set on getting something new as hes had his current system for a good 8 years or so and wants something that can last another 8 years, hence this list possibly being overkill? I don't know a ton about these programs, mostly just going off their minimum/recommended requirements, but if anyone has suggestions on what to change and what these programs benefit from, that'd be appreciated. If we can keep the budget around £1400-1500 that'd be great, he's pretty happy to spend more but only if it's worth the extra. Also if it can all be from amazon that'd be good too cus logistics (having one place to RMA a dead stuff if need be, etc) Edit: forgot to mention he already has a few hard drives that we would simply stick in this system, he has mentioned about getting some more for futureproofing tho but not essential right now, also the case is one I already own from a previous build so we can just reuse it

Welp I think ive gotten the weird bug that has been happening with AMD builds lately. Current Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X MSI MAG B550 msi mag b550 tomahawk Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT 2x 8GB DDR4 Ram @ 3200 Seagate 1tb drive Western Digital 3TB drive Samsung EVO 500GB SSD Focus 750W power supply So with this new build, the pc with start up fine (sometimes goes to the BOIS screen for the MB if I have been power cycling it too much) but at any given time I hear the USB disconnect noise and it devolves into madness. Explorer.exe stops responding, cant get input from my keyboard or even mouse sometimes. ICUE crashes (should mention I have a lot of corsair stuff with my pc too), and I cant get into an new programs. I cant tell if its a power issue, my graphics card dying (did try it with an older card still had the issue happened). Sometime the audio will glitch out before it fully drops. I did a fresh reinstall of windows, installed all the drivers for my parts and its still happening. I do not know what's causing it but I'm at my wits end because I just dropped like 600 bucks into this thing and I don't want to be just buying new parts in a mad bid to fix this. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Pretty much the title. I'm building my first pc and I was going to use a new 6750xt, but I've noticed used 3080s for around the same price as a new 6750xt. Should I go with the new 6750xt, or used 3080? I'm aware of the performance difference in the two cards, although I'm just a bit weary of buying a used gpu (bc of miners and potentially under performing cards)

Budget (including currency): $1600~ USD Country: US (near a Microcenter) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: All video games, General Purpose, nothing work/heavy CPU load related. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3XJvBj Hello, I'm compiling my first ever PC build. I was interested in & set on using the new rtx 4070 to base my build off of (please this isn't a discussion on if I should get a 6950xt instead). My usage will be mostly gaming and other general purpose. I do want to have a 2tb SSD & Wi-Fi on my mobo as well as the build being on the quieter end. I think my PSU is adequate for the 4070's TDP. Additionally I already have a 4k 60hz monitor from a friend (I know I won't be able to play everything at 4k and that's fine, but I already have this monitor so I'm gonna use it). I think I have my build mostly figured out but I just want confirmation I will have no compatibility/thermal/sizing/spacing issues, and am open to general feedback and opinions on the rest of the parts in my list (besides gpu). Thanks in advanced! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3XJvBj

Budget (including currency): ~$1000 or $1100 max USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Call Of Duty MW2 (2022), Valorant, Different VR titles Other details: 1440p 144hz monitor and secondary 1080p monitor and all peripherals already on hand, I'm waiting for parts to go on sale and just in general waiting for them to give me the money to order parts for them. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rKyYk9 https://pcpartpicker.com/list/w8BpC6 This build is meant for a close friend who really wants to play PC games, they asked me to set up a build for them. I'm not fluent in the newer parts in the market but came up with this build for the budget. I have here listed an Intel build (first link) and an AMD counterpart (second link), I want to know if my builds are made optimally, if I'm spending too much on something I shouldn't, if I should focus more of the budget on something else, etc. For the Ryzen build I do have an extra AMD graphics card from 2016 I can use to boot the Bios but I was unsure if it would cause problems when switching over to the Nvidia card, other than that I am confident in being able to build the PC.

Budget (including currency): 2,000$ - 2,500$ USD (Including tax and shipping) Country: America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: New and upcoming games, 1440p, potentially 4k in the future at a minimum of 60fps and max graphical settings. I basically want to play everything for the next 5 years at max settings at 60fps minimum, would prefer 144fps if possible. Video games and Twitch / youtube. Dual monitor setup. Other details: No existing parts, no peripherals needed, upgrading from an Alienware R8 i7 9700k, GTX 1070TI, 256GB SSD, 16GB Ram. I plan to buy as soon as possible, I need the PC before next month. 1440p 144HZ, would like 4k in the future with a minimum of 60fps. ((I would like an AMD GPU, as my recently returned computer parts included a free game that can only be activated with an AMD card.)) I recently tried building my own PC, after spending about 2 weeks researching and watching videos, as well as asking for help on Discord from PC building servers. After having my build revised by multiple people and given the greenlight, I purchased all my parts and was extremely excited for them to arrive. Upon arrival, I instantly started building, following the 'Ultimate' linus tech build video, things were difficult but progressing slowly. I managed to get the CPU, RAM, SSD, Motherboard and AIO installed. However, when it came time to put the GPU in, it simply wouldn't fit inside the case with the sag bracket. Extremely disappointed, stressed and dismayed, I began to disassemble everything, While disassembling I noticed my AIO was also incorrectly installed as it wasn't making proper contact with the CPU. I thought refunding everything was the best course of action, so that's what I did. This is a rough draft of a new build I tried making, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/k7gxpH. When I asked on Discord, they said I should change the Motherboard for something much cheaper and the storage device. I was told that the I5 13600K might not be good as the LGA1700 motherboard will be "dead" this year. I'm open to switching to an AMD CPU if it's beneficial. I was also told the CPU cooler isn't good and that I should get a 40$ Thermal assassin air cooler. I would like to keep the case if possible or maybe swap it for an NZXT H7 flow, I would also like an AMD GPU. I'm very clearly out of my depth and at my wits end. I would appreciate if anybody could advise me on quality parts that are worth buying and will be 'future proof', not needing to upgraded in the next 2 or 3 years. I don't really care about AMD or Nvidia, whatever is the best value for price. I would also like to try and keep it one theme color, black, I don't want or care about RGBs. If the PC could run dead silent and boot fast / fast loading game screens, that would be fantastic as well. Thank you for reading.

Hey! So this is my first post, so I hope I got all the bits right on what topic this is and formatting and all that good stuff I'm a computer noobie. I got my computer as a prebuild, and then modified it later. I had just switched out some parts for better VR capabilities, and then later added an what I remember to be an Elgato capture card (to put my Switch onto my computer white not using the entire monitor!). I am deciding to upgrade as looking into a PC to build for my partner, I've slowly realized I'd like one as well. My current PC is very function and not very pretty, and I used to not care for that. But now I do, I want the pretty PC. I also know the fans are giving out and I need more ram, and I just want it. Honestly that's it. I don't NEED it, but I'd like it. I'm located in California, USA! So any prices will be made in $USD. My goal is to spend not too much more than ~$2,700 on the PC ignoring monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. So that's 2,700 on the PC alone. I did get a free Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX mid tower case, so thats not included in that PC price (though that also means any parts must fit in there!!) And before you read the rest, know it either needs to be mostly white or if not, it needs to be hidden or easily painted! I am big on gaming, and do a lil streaming on the side. I hard prefer Windows, and am more comfortable on Windows 10 as most software is still not converted and also Im a wimp. Speaking of being a wimp, I am NOT and FPS player. I do however play a lot of modded games! Mostly Sims 4 and some pretty heavy modded Minecraft, so I know I need a good ram. Other than that, Im not sure! I do was a 3080, I'm just not sure if I want a TI or not (and also not sure of the difference?) Also like I mentioned earlier, I'm from the US so any adaptor/power stuff needs to fit a NA power rig. I'd like the graphics card to have room for at least 2 HDMI ports, as I will be wanting a 2 monitor set up (one vertical for chat/discord, and one normal) with the chance of upgrading to a 3rd when I mode in 2/3 years and can round up some more space. I chose the Corsair Hydro X Series iCUE XH305i cooler very intentionally. There was a PC I saw on TikTok and chose to copy its cooling system. Its Boba themed and I very much so like it, while also recognizing its not the most practical to have glass marbles in my PC. But I guess thats the fun part in getting this. Other than the case, the cooler, and the color, I'm super open! This is what I got for that build, let me know what you would add/change! Note: PCPartPicker says I dont have a cooler, when I do! Its under the custom options https://pcpartpicker.com/list/R6xxMb
