You can now run WINDOWS 95 IN YOUR BROWSER! Go to https://win95.ajf.me/ to run it in your browser. (It takes a very long time to load and is very slow!) I thought that this was pretty cool that you can now run the full version of an Operating System in your browser! It might look like it's doing nothing for a while but just wait, eventually it will boot.

Hello, my browser has started redirecting me to random ad and scam websites. When I click some link it redirects me to other websites. Sometimes it's not even link, I just click somewhere in my browser and it instantly opens new page. I don't have any extensions installed. I managed to take a screenshot of the link before it redirects: I have scanned my computer with lots of malware removers etc. Even my ESET NOD32 can't find anything. What should I do? I'm not really up for a format, as I just recently formated my computer.

Hello all! I have been wanting to mess around with the Gecko browser engine for a while now, but I have one issue. I have no clue where to get a copy of it. (Yes, I'm dumb, I know) Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Greetings. Due to Scrapyard Wars episodes being premiered a week early on Vessel, I figured I'd start my free month now and catch them early. However, after creating an account and loading up the third episode, I was met with disappointment in the form of this error message- 'Your browser doesn't seem to support playback of this video. Try another browser or another video'. It seems to work alright on Firefox, but it's inconvenient to have to switch browsers, and more than that, I'm curious as to what's actually causing the issue. Thus any suggestions along the lines of 'Just use another browser' are unwelcome. Any other threads I have found on the topic contain a slew of answers bashing Vessel for various reasons. I am not looking for an onslaught of platform hate. I am looking for a solution. Regards, Aereldor.

So I created this post awhile ago with no response after awhile. My PC has a freezing issue where it will randomly freeze, I did learn however that my problem may be web browsers? It seems I can run video games and anything else without a problem but as soon as a launch any web browser my PC will freeze within 5 minutes of it being opened. I have tried different web browsers. Google Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer, ETC. I am on a fresh install of windows 10 to fix this problem originally. Any ideas or clues to what may be causing this? I cant seem to find a lot online on the issue.

Here are the specs of the PC, it's a relatively fresh build and install of the OS, not much on the drive except for Windows & Fallout 4. Mobo: Asus Z170m-Plus CPU: i5 6500 GPU: EVGA GTX 960 SSC RAM: 16GB DDR4 G.Skill PSU: EVGA 750 b1 OS: Windows 10 Build 10586 So basically I have been having issues with the loading times of a few different websites, Mainly Youtube, Facebook and google docs. There seems to be slow and random load times on those websites across all browsers ( edge, IE, FF, Chrome ) and Google Docs disconnects randomly. It seems to only be an issue on those sites, as loading something such as this forum is smooth and error free. I've had the PC running for a couple weeks now, playing games and what not.... everything else seems to be smooth. Upload and download speeds are good and the PC is on a wired connection. I've played around with a few different thing but for some reason nothing seems to resolve the issue. I am fairly certain all my drivers are up to date also. I've included a few screen shots to show the page loading issues better. (covered a bit of the image from the Facebook picture, granted there really isn't any personal info view able on it anyway). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, Especially with regards to google docs and youtube.... facebook I couldn't really care much less about since it isn't used much. You will see in one of the photos I do have a noscript plugin on the browser... It was installed to try and see if there was anything specific causing issues.... pages loaded the same regardless if I had the plugin or not. Cheers

So recently the newest Nvidia Drive hast been released to the masses. Nvidia Driver version 358.87. After installation was completed an error code popped up with something system/WOW87/ or something, I don't remember the location at all. So first reaction to me was, Turn off PC then turn it back on. Windows Command prompt popped up during the turn on and the installation. During the turn on it said something file missing. it said nothing whilst installation. So After that i did my daily runs of the internet. And this is where I start to see problems like there was no tomorrow. List of issues I have noticed after driver installation: Attempting to go back a page in ANY browser will force me to go to the current page I was last at. Saving Pictures to folders, I now need to selected the folder of where it should be saved instead of already being in the folder and saving it there. Attempting to change wallpapers, I have to go to theme settings (sometimes it doesn't even work) to change the background. When attempting to find system restore it won't located it in the search bar. meaning I can't type in the search bar if my browser is already up (even when minimized). (just now) when switching between browser (for example) to geforce experience, I select it but will immediately minimize it again (this only happens when my cursor goes to the far left, off the screen). When Attempting to shut off computer it won't allow me. Only way to do so is it use Ctrl+Alt+Del. and power off from there. I may see more issues as they arise but this is my first impressions of something going horribly wrong and possibly update the issues in the future. This is what I discovered within the last few hours of installing the new driver. Note: i can't go back to a previous version due to me being an idiot and not setting up system restore features. Websites i use to download pictures are in the safe category of saving from them. I do not know if this is from the Nvidia driver or something decided to break today, when it's in my Routine (this may come back to haunt me). My current spec system: FX-6200 Black edition. Random cooler from HP. Random MOBO from HP/Gigabyte (dose not state what it is). Nvidia GTX 960 from E.V.G.A. 10GB of DDR3 Ram @1600MHz. Windows 10. Please if anyone knows how to fix this or have similar problems, please post. I genuinely don't know what is going on here with my PC. All I know for a fact that these issues didn't arise before today. And as usual, please tell me if I put this in the right spot in the forums.

I am having a problem with my chrome where in the top right there is the little icon that says my name for chrome and next to it it has a caution sign: http://www.mediafire.com/view/sf97kvw4a6k8ao8/Untitled.png and when I go into my settings it shows this: http://www.mediafire.com/view/5s254r7dlyvr7sy/Unt_itled.png So now when I go to sign back in by clicking on the name tag in the first image it says this: http://www.mediafire.com/view/p84wy79psp8ryg8/Untitle_d.png I have tried un-linking my account to my chrome and re-linking it and I have even tried uninstalling my browser in its entirety and reinstalling it. Nothing to this day has worked and this error message has been there for months. Please someone if you know whats going on please help!

Well, I'm posting for someone else. He says that his browsers doesn't work. He uses IE and Firefox. IE is so slow, it would take a hour to open a page, and Firefox won't even open, it isn't a internet issue, because he can play WOW on his PC. Any suggestions?

Source: https://analytics.usa.gov/ The US government runs a custom version of Google Analytics on the nearly 4,000 websites run by government agencies. The publicly available data gives insight into both how people are accessing the internet as well as what is most commonly accessed. For example at the time of writing Chrome is the most popular web browser with 34.9% and Windows 7 is the most popular OS with 41.6%. What is almost more interesting though is the figures on which sites are being accessed most frequently and the insight this gives into peoples lives. For example the most frequently accessed website is the IRS (specifically tax refunds) followed by two different weather pages. Showing that the two most important things in peoples lives are their tax refunds and the weather. Screen Shot:

Add-On for Tab-Fanatics Some of us "efficient multitaskers" often find ourselves with lots of browser tabs and windows open at a time (ahem @LinusTech), and trying to restore these browsing sessions after closing the browser can be a pain in the balls. Enter Session Manager for Firefox. Session Manager auto-saves your browsing sessions in the event of a crash or unexpected close, but it also allows you to custom save browsing sessions and restore them later! This little guy has become one of the biggest reasons I use Firefox. I haven't had any issues with it, and it's saved my butt many times. No more sinking feeling after a blue screen... no more "Oh crap" after an application crash... just great functionality. (This isn't an ad -- I just really like it and wanted to share.) Check it out here. (Please don't troll Firefox v. Chrome flamewars below - go do that on reddit or something.)

I saw this on another unrelated forum so I decided to try it out, thought it might be interesting. I would type in "A" in my search bar and post what the first link it gives me is. The next person would do "B" and so on. If "Z" is reached, just start back at "A" I got: http://www.deviantart.com/browse/all/

Hello people! So, allow me to try to describe this problem as well as I can. If you have any additional questions please let me know and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Lately my browser (Chrome primarily, but also happened when I tested it with Internet Explorer.) has, what initially seemed to be randomly, stopped loading pages. It just decides to no longer load any pages and requires a full computer restart to begin loading them again. Last night through some trial and error testing I realized that it happens whenever I have certain programs running. So far I've found uTorrent and Skype to be the culprits. I believe the problem originated from a virus I accidentally installed through one of the "do you want to also download" trick things on some installers. I thought I had removed the virus, but the problem persists. Is there anything I can do to fix this without reinstalling Windows? Thank you for any advice.

I have a Dell Inspiron N5050 laptop that I use for my work. Most of the time I am required to open multiple browser tabs and probably multiple browsers at the same time. Could anybody please recommend what would be the best bet for me in this situation. Should I buy a new assembled computer? If yes, what configuration, RAM, Processor etc.? Should I stick with my old laptop and install Linux or some other light browser that I'm not aware of? As of now, I have tried Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Maxthon, Vivaldi and Opera and feature wise, I like Chrome. But its a memory hog. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks a lot for taking your time.

Got here as soon as I can after LinusTechTips uploaded the Microsoft Edge video Microsoft Edge (Left) vs Maxthon Browser (Right) 4K YouTube Video Memory and Performance Stress test Microsoft Edge: Crashed at least 3 times and then lead to a page saying this page had a problem. Please reload or try again later. The video was choppy in frame rate (under 15 fps), unbearable, slow and took double the time to load than Maxthon. No ad block or any other plugins installed. 484.44 MB of RAM used with 1% CPU utilisation. Maxthon: Loaded YouTube a lot quicker and had no ads due to Adblock being preloaded. Ran the video without any problem, in full 30 fps and no choppy frame rate. Maxthon wins with flying colours whilst having loaded plugins as well. 313.63 MB of RAM used with 1% CPU utilisation. Tested on Asus U36SG i5 2430M 2.4GHz 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Samsung 840 EVO 120GB NVIDIA GT 610M Windows 10 Pro
