I just wanna document my experience with building a watercooling setup on the "cheap". When I had researched parts and what to do I was fronted with one singular and crucial question; buy expensive, branded parts or get unknown branded parts. In the end I had chosen the latter choice (barrow fittings, unknown chinese pump and res, some weird tubing company) and ended up with a system that has served me well since the beginning of this year. the one thing I would not have skimped out on though are compression fittings (if hardline tube) because they have the best and most secure fit in my mind. Here's a pic of my build (first watercooled build btw)

So lets address the elephant in the room: what is with the blue dot? As in, here, here and not here?!

I'm mainly going to be using this keyboard at work. I work as a Web Security Engineer mainly writing Python code. I picked up a Mechanical Key Switch tester a few days ago and the Cherry MX Blue switch felt the nicest to type on and felt very fast to actuate which is what I'd like. I did a search around on Amazon for Blue switch keyboards but I can't seem to find any with the UK layout (that one with the really big enter key). All recommendations are welcome. Thanks!

I have a Blue Yeti and I am looking to get an arm stand for my desk. I'm looking to use a Blue Radius II mount and I also want to use the arm to hold my headphones (HyperX Cloud Revolvers). So, what would fit this description?

I'm looking to make a setup with a blue yeti blackout, but I want a boom/ scissor/ microphone stand of some sorts that can hold it. If it matters, this is what I'll be using: Blue Yeti - Blackout Edition, Blue Radius II Microphone Shock Mount, Foam Windscreen for Blue Yeti. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great!

source: http://www.kitguru.net/components/ssd-drives/matthew-wilson/western-digital-launches-blue-and-green-series-ssds/ review: http://www.anandtech.com/show/10741/the-western-digital-blue-1tb-ssd-review this is not the 1st time WD dabbled in the consumer SSD market, their 1st attempt was about 6y ago with the SiliconEdge Blue - one year prior they acquired SiliconSystems, a manufacturer of solid state storage devices (Compact Flash mainly) 1y ago, WD announced the acquisition of SanDisk for 19 billion USD today, they launch their own branded SATA SSDs - the WD Blue and WD Green - in 2.5" and m.2 2280 form factors specs for the WD Blue, thanks to AnandTech: WD's 1TB Blue SSD is nothing to write home about; it doesn't even match the drive it "copies" (with tweaked FW), the SanDisk X400 the MSRP for WD's Blue SSD is not OK in the current market - it seems like WD didn't even do market research prior to launch things like Crucial MX300 have 3D TLC, they are faster and cheaper the OCZ Trion 150, is planar TLC and it's cheaper if WD wants to grab some market, they need to lower the price

So I've got a question. I need a new HDD soon seeing as I'm really close to being out of space on my 1TB. The question I've got is will I notice a significant difference between the 5400RPM on the WD Blue 2TB vs the 7200RPM WD Black 2TB? This'll be used for my entire steam library, keeping the 1TB WD Blue I have for media and casual stuff. The only reason I ask is because the WD Black 2TB costs quite a bit more than the WD Blue 2TB.

I have a large external speaker that I plug into the analogue audio ports on my motherboard. It randomly stopped working yesterday and I was extremely confused. I knew it wasn't the speaker so I repetitively uninstalled and reinstalled audio drivers. Today I then manually uninstalled the Realtek driver and downloaded it again. I Looked at the port my speaker was plugged into and googled what colours did what. Ok. So Green means output. I then bend over, unplug the speaker and flash my torch. Only to see the port my speaker was plugged into being blue. ?

Hi! I have been wanting to get into podcasting for awhile now and decided to inveset in some hardware, but before I spluge and buy 300-500 euro worth of tech, I want to ask you guys some questions. 1.I decided on the Blue Yeti USB, but if I have 3 people, do i need to get 3 mics or will 2 suffice. 2.If I connect the three/two into a hub, will they be a single track or multiple different tracks (audacity) ? 3.Will I need a preamp/DAC for them or is it okay to plug them directly into the hub? Many thanks!

I have been shopping for a boom arm for my Blue Yeti and have found that the cheaper ones usually don't hold up as well as the more expensive ones. Should I go and bite the bullet and get the Rode PSA-1?

Hi guys, Please help me to make the right choice here. After looking for info online I am still unclear which drive is best to be used for my home workstation. The intention is to set up a RAID 1 configuration within my own workstation using 2x hard drives to store my files, pictures, music etc. There are those who say BLUE is absolutely fine and there are those who say RED is better because it is optimised for NAS. Does NAS also mean the same thing for desktop RAID? (I found online someone saying that WD RED would not be utilising it's full potential as it is designed for NAS.) What does that mean, that no drives are good enough to sit in my PC RAID? This is where I am confused. Why should I spend more money for the RED if I will not be be able to use all it's features in RAID. All the help is always appreciated . Thanks everyone!

Hi all, I'm looking for my first mechanical keyboard, and after watching numerous videos, I have settled on the Cherry MX Blue switches. I like the loud click sound of the MX Blue switches, and I like a deep press, but not enough to get finger fatigue. I do video editing and light gaming, but I need a number pad, as my dad is a banker. Due to the vast amount of mechanical keyboards out there I'm not quite sure on what to get. I have a couple of preferences on what I would like: Cherry MX Blue switches Corsair Full size (Not 10 key-less) Under $100 Available on amazon.co.uk I've had a bit of a look, but would like your opinion if you own one already. Cheers, Sam.

Hello everyone, I just recently bought a blue yeti mic off ebay. I have an HP with Windows 10, and i was trying to record through audacity. However, when ever I talk into it, my voice sounds like a whisper, and the microphone is constantly clipping. There seems to be no fix. I have done everything on those youtube videos, removing it, and checking for drivers, however this mic needs no drivers. I bought a new mini USB cord to connect it, and i even tried downloading another software to fix it. Does anyone know how to fix?

What color theme do yall prefer? If your build had to be displayed what color would you want the main components to be? What color theme do you despise? My preferred color theme is Black and White with hints of green (like the Geforce GTX led). I was working on that theme until my motherboard died and I had to go with AsRock Red. yuck. I can live with red.... it's blue that makes me cringe. I can not stand anything blue. There is too many blue themed boards, plus not everything goes with blue. My great grandmother has blue carpet, blue lament flooring, blue counter-tops, blue cabinets, blue walls, furniture with blue in it, blue clothes, it's like the cookie monster was fu#*ing slashed and bled all over every d@mn thing in her Condo! Maybe that is where I get my hate for blue.

So I recently made the purchase of a Blue Yeti microphone to take the place of my headset microphone. One thing I did not realize was how incredibly sensitive this thing really is. I have the microphone set to Caratoid, my gain is set appropriately, as well as the microphone level itself within the properties. I know there are several programs out there that are supposed to help reduce the background noise and the general hum of the room, but I cannot for the life of me figure any of them out on my own. I'm currently running my microphone through the VoiceMeeter program with the use of the VB Audio Virtual Cable. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to fix the hum I have in the background? One of my buddies compared it to sounding like I was in the back of a C-130.

I have a Dell S2417DG monitor (TN Panel based) that has a dead or stuck pixel. The pixel in question is: Black on a black background (blends in perfectly) Red on a white background (noticeable) Red on a red background (blends in perfectly) Black on a green background (stands out noticeably) Blue on a blue background (blends in perfectly) This leads me to believe that it's a stuck pixel and not dead (correct me if I'm wrong). However, after running some videos that cycle through red, blue, and greens quickly to try and revive the pixel, I have had no luck. Any ideas?

Not the biggest fan of the window that's provided with this case so I got some blue perspex and covered up the existing window, needed 3 layers in total to get the shade of blue I was chasing. Photos are in order of: Before, two angles. The panel without perspex. The panel with one layer. The panel with three layers, two angles. The panel with three layers with the sun behind it. The mod fitted. The mod fitted a second angle to compare with earlier. Total cost = 800JPY & about 45 mins. Required tools, tape, straight edge, box-cutters(Stanley knife) & some electrical tape thinly sliced. This is super easy & super good looking -- hope you try it.

Hey guys, I was looking through a lot of older posts on here about the Blue Yeti; I bought one for streaming purposes and I love using it, however the quality on the actual unit is not the best because I have it placed so far away from me, I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for a microphone arm for this monster of a product. Alot of reviews on products are very back and forth on if it works because of the weight of the Microphone. I am sure this has been posted before and I did look through 3 different pages but I found nothing recent on this subject. I am also looking into a pop filter, I think? The way I will be using my microphone, is going to be to the left of my head about a foot or less away from me, I am not sure if I should be getting a pop filter or a cover that sits ontop of the microphone head and covers all sides. I hear the yeti is very sensitive and I am not sure what I should be looking for when it comes to that. I have no idea if I am using the proper terminology so I will be overly clear about this; This is what I have been looking for when it comes to "mic arms": https://www.amazon.ca/Earamble-Microphone-Professional-Suspension-Adjustable/dp/B06VX1ZW2M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1508124913&sr=8-2&keywords=blue+yeti+mic+arm I also see Shock Mounts; but I have no idea what they are for: https://www.amazon.ca/Blue-Microphones-RADIUS-II-Microphone-Shock/dp/B00TTQLA50/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1508124954&sr=1-1&keywords=blue+yeti+mic+shock+mount There are these pop filters: https://www.amazon.ca/Neewer-Studio-Microphone-Filter-Shield/dp/B00ACFAULC/ref=pd_bxgy_267_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=P91KD31FCM0VF3YTRV05 But I am wondering if these are better for my use, or if quality will be lower with them: https://www.amazon.ca/Mudder-Large-Windscreen-Technica-Microphones/dp/B01EMUQ08O/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1508125017&sr=1-1&keywords=Blue+Yeti+Mic+cover Ideally I think I will be hanging the microphone upside down depending on the length of the arm, but I have very little knowledge on this; any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Last night I was streaming Life is Strange and my computer had no issues whatsoever. A windows update was scheduled for 3am and when I woke up this morning I was greeted by a "blue screen of death" with a frozen 50% and the error message of "Machine check exeption" i restarted my computer and i was able to use it for about a minute with no problems but after that minute, it blue screened again. In that minute i have been able to check the drivers for my gpu and my Hdd and my SSd and they look fine. Ive never done any overclocking but i checked my Bios too and it seems that i can stay in my Bios menu for as long as I want without crashing. My cpu temp seems fine staying around 32°C. I dont know what to do. If you can help, thank you very much, i want to get back to streaming as soon as possible. PC specs. Hey guys! Been awhile since I've posted. But, I've started thinking about recording videos again lately. I have a Blue Yeti (silver one) and a pop filter. I understand most of the setups and such. My question is, how can I eliminate feedback from my mechanical keyboard (green switch) without buying a $100 arm stand? Can I use a full length mouse and keyboard mat to prevent feedback? I've heard of people using shirts (hell no) and o-rings. I'd rather buy a new mat than $10 o-rings. Thanks guys!

I can't seem to get my wraith spire rgb to show blue or any color that uses blues at all, green and red work just fine but if I set it to purple for example it just shows an off red. Is this a faulty header/cable/light ring? Or did I do something wrong? breathing and other effects still work properly, just no blue colors at all. Mobo is an msi x370 gaming pro carbon, using msi gaming app to control the colors.
