Here are my components: Asus B450m-a/CSM motherboard, AMD 3600 32GB RAM DDR4 3200MHz Ripjaw Asus RX580 8GB. Here is the issue: I recently unplugged my main SSD and used it as a portable drive. When I installed it back, it had a strtrail.txt bluescreen issue. At this moment the screen still outputted images normally. So I used WinPE to fix the boot partition problem, and immediately when the computer was restarted, nothing showed on my screen. NO MANUFACTURER LOGO, no WINDOWS boot up rotating circles. It just did not show anything. Reboot or cold boot both do not solve the issue at all. And when I press the power button just once, the whole computer just shut off rapidly. I have swapped another usable GT310 gpu to the board, and there is still no image. I have tried cleaning the bios by removing the battery on board, and using bios clearing PINs, both do not work. However my keyboard's caps lock functions correctly and can be turned on/off. I don't know if this could be a motherboard issue. The whole computer went down after a restart. Maybe this is a driver issue or something else?

Hi, I built a computer about a month ago (Radeon RX 560, Asrock b450, Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB ram) and it gets into strange black screen boot loops. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling graphics drivers, changing PCIE power settings, turning off hardware acceleration, booting in safe mode, and running memory tests on the RAM and diagnostic tests on the graphics card. The system event viewer doesn't say anything in particular, but after a hard reset the Radeon software prompts me to report a bug as a result of a driver crash. I'll add the AMD crash log (it's huge and I'm not sure what to look for). The blackscreens don't happen after doing anything specific, but I've seen it crash watching youtube, playing a game, or even trying to open chrome. Appreciate the help. atikmdag_dce.log

Ok, so I've had my PC for over a year now and this is the first time I've dealt with this issue and I don't know how to fix it. To give context, when I'm playing games (any type of games) randomly after a couple minutes of booting the game up my screen goes black and my GPU fans speed up. i can still hear whatever is on my PC but just cant see it and the only way to get picture is turning it off and on again but I just cant play games at all. I can watch YouTube and browse the internet and nothing happens but the second i boot a game after about 5 mins it just crashes. Before this started happening I tried overclocking my GPU via Geforce Experience and it only overclocked it by 83mhz which is nothing so i just left it alone and reset it to its default settings and next day my PC would just keep crashing and after me booting it up around 4 or 5 time in a row it would have the issue of the GPU crashing but once I turn it off and on again its the same issue all over again. I've tried looking online for problem solving but none of them have worked for me as far as I can tell. I used to use Afterburner for overclocking manually but uninstalled it months ago and idk if it keeps your GPU overclocked even when its off your PC, So I reinstalled it to check and it kept my save so I assumed the issue was it was too far overclocked and if I reset it to default settings it wouldn't crash anymore and I reset it to default and same thing happened where my screen goes black, I hear a ding on my desktop like my game crashed and my GPU fans go full speed. if someone has a fix id be grateful.

Hey everyone! I am building a new pc and am having major problems. I originally built the pc with an NZXT z490-A motherboard and when I went to turn it on, the debug lights said there was in issue with the dram. I then plugged the ram sticks into my other computer to see if they were doa and bam, my other computer turns on just fine. So I thought that the mobo was doa instead. I ordered a replacement just for it to do the same thing. I checked on pcpartpicker and everything said it was compatible. I was so frustrated at this point I decided to just go with a different mobo brand. I ended up choosing the Asus Prime Z590-A. This time the mobo turns the dram light off with no others that pop up, but there's no post and more importantly, no outgoing power to either my keyboard and even my mouse! Here are my specs: Intel Core i7- 10700k lga 1200 processor Asus Prime Z590-A lga 1200 motherboard (2x16) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ram Corsair iCUE H150i Capellix rgb liquid cooling Samsung 870 Evo 1tb ssd Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 super gpu Corsair CX750f rbg 750 watt power supply I've seen many things after doing research about a Bios flash update, but I cant do it since the computer won't show video in the first place. I know every cable is plugged in the right way, and I cant tell you how many times I have reseated all of the components. Im at my wits end here, please help!

System Specs GPU: Gainward GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Phoenix GS CPU AMD Ryzen 9 3900X RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 2933MHz 32GB x2 SSD: Samsung PM981a SSD 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe M-Board: ASUS ROG Strix X570-F GAMING, S-AM4 PSU: Corsair TX850M, 850W PSU Windows 10. So i am having the issue that my computer seemingly at random gets black screen and loosing connections on my monitors and then ¨restarting¨ itself and then launches back to normal. It is not a restart of the computer because i am still logged in and in game (World of Warcraft for an example) but i am getting the same issue sometimes when i am just watching youtube and have nothing else up in the background. Sometimes it goes days without any blackscreens and sometimes it's 2 times per day but i can't seem to force it to happen with overloading with tests and such. I don't know what to try with anymore so i come here for help. Thanks in advance.

Hello I recently upgraded my pc with a new motherboard, CPU, ram and cooler. After puttering it together it booted up and had fun for a week or 2. Out of nowhere it began black screening it started and got in the the OS but then everything went black. The pc does run, and if I am in Teamspeak / Discord I can hear people and they can hear me for a bit (But it will stop after a few seconds). So thinking that it may have been a mounting problem I Took the pc apart, remounted everything and then turned it back on. That fixed it, but now a month or 2 later it has started to do the same thing again. It is even happening in the bios! If I try booting it a lot of times, and I mean between 10 to 50 times there will be a point where it stays on. There are no problems when that happens, all the games run as espected with no performance loss. I really hope somebody here knows what the problem could be or what troubleshooting steps I should take. The BIOS has been factory reset and the problem still occur, it sometimes doesn't even get to the boot screen. It seems to only happend when first booting it, like I said at some point the pc will stay on but the problem occurs daily after the pc has been off for a while. Specs: - Ryzen 9 5900X - 32 GB - 3600Mhz Corsair Vengeance PRO - GTX 1060 6GB - Corsair RM850x PSU - Be quite pure wings 2

Whenever I watch youtube or sometimes play war thunder (crashes when I return to menu, not while playing for the most part) or battlefield 4, my pc would crash, no BSOD or anything, itd just blackscreen and restart itself. It happens most often whenever I am watching youtube, or when I just get off a game of war thunder. So nothing to GPU intensive. I just upgraded my GPU to the 3070 and PSU to the TX750M, and have not used my PC for 8 months before then. Before that, everything was fine. I have troubleshooted almost everything and its starting to get really annoying. Specs: i7-8700 w/ Corsair H80 AIO cooler 3070 TUF Asus M-ATX B360 Prime Mobo 32GB HyperX Fury Ram TX750M (recently upgraded, used CX650M before and had same issue) What I have done so far: Updated BIOs Replaced PSU Reseated GPU Reseated RAM Updated Drivers Done a stress test on the GPU (did not crash even though every fan ramped up and at 100%) Memtested my RAM Diagnosed my CPU using the intel diagnostic tool. Thermals is also very normal with sub 70C most of the times Im suspecting that its a problem with the motherboard, but i have absolutely no clue. Hoping its not the GPU, but computer crashes on Chrome as well, so that probably isnt it At this point, Im all out of ideas Just to add, there are no video glitches or anything when im gaming, so framerate is exceptional, but computer would crash constantly

Hello! I have a LG 27GN850, I'm using the DP port, and when I start a game or when I alt tab, I have like 1/2 sec or black screen, and I can hear the game running well in the background. My config is pretty good : i5 9600kf, 32go 3000mhz, Asus RTX 3070. So I don't think that can be the problem. Also, I'm having these issue in "low" games like Rocket League. I tried to turn off G-sync, V-sync, etc, but nothing works. My only solution is to turn off the fullscreen mode in game, but I lose FPS... So, can somebody help me?

Hi Guys, new build but having problems going into BIOS. Once finished building I turned on the system and the screen is black. So I thought something was either damaged or the build was done wrong but i've retraced my steps and rebuilt it and everything seems fine. (11th pc that I've built, first time issue). I put in my other SSD that had my windows 10 with the same cpu but diff motherboard and that boots perfectly into Windows 10. I'm not sure why I can't get into bios and when turning off fast boot from windows, and forcing BIOS from windows restart the screen stays black and doesn't show the bios. I tried flashing the board with 3 different bios and this is still happening.

Hi, My system crashes and reboots whenever I try starting a game. I have tried every game I have and the only game that sometimes starts up is DOOM and Doom Eternal. FFXIV is really bad and crashes as soon as I hit play. I have used the G9 monitor without problems since May running it at max settings , but I wanted to add a second monitor. As soon as I added the second monitor it started to crash. When I disconnect everything it works fine again. I can use both screens just fine as long as I don't start a game. I have tried a few different monitors, reinstalled the GPU driver , switched to different HDMI / DP-cables, tried new PSU cables. Checked the power draw up to the crash moment but it don't even jump over idle on the PSU before it crashes ( iCue 144W + - some on idle) . Also tried with G-sync on and off, different resolutions and Hz. I tried running my PSU in Single rail config too with no luck. Is my 2080ti just too weak or is something else going on ? I deleted the event log and did a few more tries, these screenshots are the only error I get. Hi there, everything works great with my PC, but since last night my PC keeps crashing randomly. It happens while playing Warzone, Coldwar, Steep, sometimes instantly, sometimes after 20-40mins. When running Stress Tests in Fur-Mark, everything is fine. When crashing, all my monitors lose their signal and go to standby. The GPU fans start spinning at max speed. The audio from games and music still works, and I can talk to friends via discord and I can see all my RGB still working. I have to then force-shutdown my PC and restart it to get it working again. My Conclusion --> some GPU related issue, probably related to VRAM usage (Fur-Mark doesn't use much VRAM, but games do) Temperature stays at a steady 65 °C, so the issue isn't due to overheating System: RTX 2070 super (gigabyte) Ryzen 3700x 32gb ddr4-3600 ram (gskill) --> running in XMP gigabyte Aorus x570 motherboard what I tried already: restarting- with power off installing newest geforce driver for my 2070 super checking power cables and GPU seating running multiple fur-mark stress-test for 30min+ Any help is appreciated, much love. Okay so.. I got an NVME m.2 drive. (1tb) Wiped my entire system and installed a fresh windows on the machine. Everything seems to be working fine untill I stress my GPU. When it goes above a certain load (50% is fine but everything above that is danger zone right now) my screen becomes black, i still recieve audio through my headset and my Fans (i think only the GPU fan) ramp up to frickin eleven. I have: R7 2600, 16gb corsair ram and an rx580. Gigabyte GA-AX370M-GAMING 3 I did have this problem before i reinstalled my windows but it wasnt nearly as consistent. Back then i would sometimes get a random crash here and there but now its litterally everytime my gpu gets under a heavy load. I heard that rx580 has bad temps and thermal paste but there is nothing out of the ordinairy. It doesnt overheat or anything. (70d is max ish.) When i installed my windows i installed all the windows updates and got the latest rx580 driver from the AMD website. I got the gpu for super cheap because a fanblade was broken, though i don't see how something like that would so consistently crash my pc since, like i said, the gpu doesnt overheat, it never does. I have two big pciE connectors on my motherboard, i connected the new drive up to the one thats right below my gpu. Would it be possible that my gpu and drive have to share the same lane and that that is why my PC is crashing? Or is my gpu just fried? and if it is because my gpu and drive are on the same lane, could i fix this by moving my gpu down a slot, or maybe there is a seccond pciE m.2 slot on my board? i heard some boards had one of these slots on the back of the motherboard? Really dont wanna have to spend 200 - 300 euros on a new gpu since i just saved up to buy this storage upgrade..

Hi guys, I'm really desperate to fix my computer, I'm an student and I don't know the origin of my computer failure, and I was hoping i could get help, so, Couple of months ago I started to get this weird freezes on my computer, out of nowhere my computer would just freeze and I couldn't do anything (the video I attached it's an example of what happened), I thought it was something that would happen only once, but it kept happening, It didn't even apear a blue screen or anything it would just freeze completely. the weird thing is that one time the gpu fan would ramp up, after it froze, it figured it could be the GPU and did some stress test to force the error to see if I had to change a piece or something, but the error didn't show up, neither a blue screen or a freeze, after that i started to get blue screens and black screens on windows, so i tried doing all kinds of tests on the components to figure which one was the one that was the problem, i did the tests with burn-in-test and no error showed up, after that, the errors kept showing, and not a single one to know how to fix it, i got almost every BSOD message i could. I also have tried to clean my drives , today I though it could be a drive that could be failing I have an M.2 from western digital black, and a seagate hard drive, and i got all of these problems in the M.2 drive with the windows installed in it, and now i changed it to my hardDrive and i still got the problems, and got a black screen, while i wasn't even on the computer, i left my screen in the desktop and it showed up. (the black screen error attached). I have tried everything it came to mind, i even cleaned my pc, cleaned the thermal compound, I opened and cleaned my GPU, i cleaned my ram sticks, and nothing seems to work Please I'm desperate, not only I play video games on this computer, I use it to program, since I'm an engineer student and I'm about to start classes, so I'm quite desperate. thanks for reading and for the help you can bring. Hello everyone, For some reason when I'm gaming during saves or when I close the game, the screens go black (even shows the message that it got disconnected) and the PC crashes but doesn't turn off. I've ran FurMark + Prime95 for over 20 min without issues, but as soon as I close FurMark, I get the crash. I've formatted and reinstalled Windows, removed Windows Updates, ran DDU and reinstalled drivers. I'm at a loss here and don't know what else to do. I've attached the Dxdiag, msinfo32, and the HWinfo that I captured while running the stress test. Thanks in advance! DxDiag.txt Hwinfo.CSV msinfo32.txt

Ive recently upgraded to m.2 SSD and after installing the OS on it, it could only see 1, max 2 of my hard drives randomly. After trying for several hours I tried flashing the bios since they were not showing there as well. After flashing the bios I downloaded from official ASUS website it went to 100% and then blackscreen, and since then I couldnt get any further than that.Tried a lot of methods like removing the CMOS battery and letting it sit completely without any power, waiting patienly etc. but nothing helped. While googling for help i stumbled across someone saying it is booting from integrated GPU but since Im on ryzen it made me think it is set from factory to use iGPU and not PCI-E but I may be wrong, does some good soul know what could help? I have ASUS B350-PLUS and ryzen 5 2600. Im incuding the bios file PRB350PS.CAP

Hey everyone, as you probably read from the title I was just using my computer the way that I normally do and all of a sudden I got a black screen. I could still hear everything, but that was it. I went to turn off my PC to just reset it and could no longer get a display. I reset the CMOS battery, reseated the ram and gpu, practically rebuilt my whole PC and couldn't find an issue. I'm skeptical to say that it's GPU because I tried to switch to Integrated graphics and still didn't get a display. I went and returned my motherboard to replace it with a new one and this also didn't help. I've done pretty much everything except return my 3080ti and switch it out for a new one. I just bought a ryzen 9 (which was working perfectly prior to today). I'm not an expert with building PC's, but I'm more than capable of putting one together. This is an issue I've never ran into before and would like any insight or tips on what the next steps would be to get a display again? I've also done bios flashback updates and still haven't had any success.

So, i am really desperate and need some help. My pc keeps crashing all the time, no matter what i am doing, only sometimes more, and sometimes less. I get crashes like blackscreens, bluescreens, or just the games crashing. I usually get them when watching videos or drawing (Blackscreens exclusively), or when playing any kind of game not depending on the settings i use, or even just doing nothing at all sometimes. For example Rocket league never crashes, but Fortnite crashes not even 10min into a game. GTAV usually crashes about 30mins or hour and a half after launch, most other games usually crash after like 30min with some exeptions. There were times where i would go do something other, and return to the pc sitting on a black screen, or loading into windows. I tried reinstalling my graphics drivers, undervolting the gpu (although i dont really know how to do it, so it might have done nothing), and also tried clean windows installs. My setup is: Intel core i7-920 8gb DDR3 RAM AMD Radeon 380 2GB (MSI Armor x2 version) 500W 80+Bronze FSP PSU Any help is greatly appreciated

Hello All, I recently built a gaming PC and I am having issues when gaming where it randomly gives me a backscreen and freezes. The black screen only occurs when playing intense games such as MW2 or Doom Eternal. It plays fine until sometimes a few mins in and sometimes 30 mins in where the screen just goes black and the PC is Non-Responsive. I usually hit the restart button and I am unable to play without further issues for another day. Almost seems like it only happens once per restart. I've turned off all overclocking, XMP Disabled system running at default. BSOD - GPU - Windows 11 all have all available drivers and updates installed. CPU is operating within temps under load. I've stress tested the CPU and GPU with no fails. I've tried changing the power plan settings so there are no restrictions. Under Event Viewer I see the following errors quite a lot not sure if its the contributing factor: > Autopilot.dll WIL error was reported. HRESULT: 0x80070491 File: onecoreuap\admin\moderndeployment\autopilot\dll\dllmain.cpp, line 128 Message: NULL > Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation. I've tried everything that I can think of but unable to fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
