First here is the sound i managed to capture it in a Twitch Clip at approximately second 20 to end: Twitch Clip of the weird warning sound Does anyone have any Idea which program this could be? It mostly occurrs while streaming and playing demanding games at the same time. My System: Graphics: I am not sure if this is kind of a temperature warning maybe? But i don't have any warnings configured myself, MSI afterburner isn't installed Snippet of my autostart programs: I also tried to peek at the sound panel to see if I can spot the program which generated the sound but no luck so far. Would be great if someone can at least tell me where this is coming from to tackle or deactivate it

Turned my computer on this morning and through my headset I could constantly hear a beeping noise which is coming from the desktop. All I know so far is that system sounds is where the beeping sound is coming from. If anyone knows why or how I can get rid of it that would be amazing!

Beeping.mp3 Hi all. I have a PC which I custom built myself in February last year. Here are the current specs first: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU AMD Wraith Prism CPU Cooler MSI RX 5700 XT OC Mech GPU MSI B550 Gaming Plus Motherboard Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 16GB dual RAM kit EVGA SuperNova 850 G+ PSU (Previously was a Seasonic S12III 650W PSU) Sabrent Q4 2TB NVMe SSD Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD Lian li Lancool II Mesh RGB Case, with add-on Lian li ST120 3-fan pack to fill out the case (Previously was a MUSETEX MS6-HB case from Amazon) Lately I noticed there is a beeping noise that comes from my motherboard, seemingly the area where the RAM is, and it's continuous. 3 second beep, 2 second silence, and repeat. The noise has absolutely no affect on my performance that I am aware of, it is simply an annoyance. The PC powers on fine and runs fine and I game on it regularly. I can only hear it when I have my ear right up next to my PC, and I have to listen for a few seconds to kind of tune into it. The noise persists while my PC is fully powered on, no matter what I am doing, and when in sleep mode. I have not heard it while the PC is shut down even with the PSU switch on. This noise persisted both before and after my PSU replacement. I first noticed the noise after getting the new Lian Li case, even before getting 3 more fans, and I figured the PSU was the cause but apparently not... at least I needed a better PSU anyway so it wasn't a waste. Today I reseated my RAM, just for my PC to turn on but no display, and the EZ Debug LED was stuck on CPU. I once again reseated the RAM, and upon boot I received a black screen telling me "Memory Overclocking Fail" and to press F1. I do not remember intentionally setting my RAM to overclock. I noticed in BIOS A-XMP was set to profile 1. I'm not very knowledgeable in overclocking, I do not want to do it, and after quick research I decided I'd set that A-XMP to just be disabled. PC now boots fine, but once again, that noise persists. If it's nothing to worry about, then I will leave it as is. I do not believe it is a beep code as it is just rhythmic and consistent, and I doubt it's coil whine because it's not a steady whining sound and it is not loud by any means. The noise may have existed even before I replaced my PC case, but I would not know. It was a coincidence that I ever noticed it to begin with. I simply have never heard of PC's having a consistent, non-harmful noise; usually it is an indicator of some kind of underlying issue... but I have yet to experience an issue.

Hello all, I recently upgraded by PC build and sold my old setup on eBay. The buyer has requested a return due to "drastic frame drops and crashes in Valorant, Roblox, and Minecraft" as well as "rapid beeping when screen-sharing on Discord." Could this be an issue with RAM that is not properly seated, dead, or encountering a static issue? The problem must have occurred during shipping, as it was working fine before. Here are the system specs: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz CPU MSI NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB OCV1 GPU 16GB ADATA DDR3 RAM (2x 8GB) Asrock 970M Pro 3 Motherboard 500 Watt Allied Power Supply 120GB SATA SSD 1TB SATA HDD Windows 10 Oh and one last question, how much would you recommend I sell this for? Would it be best to part-out? Thanks a ton! -A1

I've been doing my best to figure out what or why this is happening but can't find the problem (which I will get to shortly) So here's the backstory of this laptop. It's a Dell Inspiron 17r 5721, it was originally my Grandfather's but he passed away and I started to find all the laptops he had. So I used a um.. 'password reset key' (from Lovell Tec) to first look at the hard drive and it's contents to see if there was anything important or any information left on it that I should try to recover. I found nothing, and couldn't reset the password because it was a windows account, protected by the account password itself. I proceeded to do a fresh install of windows 10 (it was running windows 8/8.1 originally). After doing the install, and entering the windows insider/preview program, the computer was working fine. I downloaded some games and such, doing the normal setup stuff you do for a new device, and ended up getting a secondary drive, replacing the optical drive in the laptop with a SATA drive and adapter for it. Now at this point the computer was working just fine for about a month and a half, during which time I was using it regularly. After I tried making a boot drive for another computer, and not using the laptop for about a week after that, the laptop stopped booting up on the first try. It doesn't turn on properly after about 15 minutes or more of being powered off. This is what happens when the laptop is turned on from being 'cold': I click the button and one of the four lights on the front turns on (the light that indicates that it's powered on), as the light is turning on I can hear the fan ramp up for a minute and the hard drive starting up (no weird or excess noises). Then, after a few seconds, during the time where you would expect to see the computer doing something (like the DELL logo coming onto the screen) nothing happens other than you suddenly hear a shrill beep then two weaker beeps following it (all equally spaced apart but the first is much louder). The laptop continues to beep until you press the power button again and turn it off, at which point if you press the power button again to try to turn it on a second time, it fully boots up and you see the DELL logo, and you get fully into Windows. I've tried pulling one stick of memory, then the other (and replacing the first), I've tried booting it plugged in, unplugged, plugged in with the battery out, I've tried it with removing the second drive, tried putting the optical drive back in, I've tried doing the troubleshooter that is in the bios. TLDR; got a laptop from my grandfather passing away, installed Windows 10 (with insider program) and worked fine. After 15-ish minutes of being off, laptop doesn't boot up on the first try and just beeps at you loudly in sets of 3. Turn it off and on again and it works I know it sounds like it isn't too bad, but when you're trying to turn on your laptop and you have to wait an extra minute to get into it, it's very inconvenient. Thank you in.. is it really in advance at this point? But thank you anyone who tries to help. Attached is a video of what happens when I try to do a "cold" boot. (apologies for the bad video quality) WIN_20200718_15_15_56_Pro.mp4

i just took a screen snip and draw something then it starts beeping, im pretty sure this is not a hard drive failure because last time i hear something like this it was a hard drive failure. But its not a hard drive failure because i just replaced the hard drive like a moth ago and the beep sound is faster than the hard drive failure beep sound. The cursor is stuttering and it doesnt respond any input. So whats the problem, should i do something or change anything? OS : Windows 10 20200722_162933_001_001.mp4

So I just got my RTX 2070 super and was replacing my GTX 1060. At first when I replaced the gpus my computer started beeping so I moved my ram stick to stop the beeping. After that the beeping stopped but now I get no display on my monitor even though all the fans and leds are on. I tried reverting back to gtx 1060 but the same thing happened. How do I fix this?

After looking into it I think it may be overheating or possibly the psu dosent have enough power for the unit What did you expect to happen? Hello all! Getting straight to the point, yesterday I got a new monitor an AOC G27Q2U (1440p 144hz) and as I was testing it out in Rainbow Six Siege, I noticed a beep coming from my pc. At first I assumed it was temp related but everything looked fine, so I carried on playing until the beeping got on my nerves and as I closed the game the beeping stopped, making me think it was GPU related but after running stress tests it didn't happen. I then loaded up OCCT and did what they call a PSU stress test which loads up the cpu and gpu to max and the beeping didn't happen. After that I proceeded to try and open a folder on my 4TB WD Blue drive which has a few games and back ups etc (siege is on a different ssd btw) and it said the file path was invalid, so I opened up partition manager and saw that it said the disk wasn't initialised so I restarted my pc and it was fine, all the files was there and crystal disk info & mark was great. Which made me confused. Early today I run a full WD diagnostic search which took over 7 hours but passed all fine, I've backed up what I've needed to as well and they went good with no problems (over 1tb). And with it sat idle for hours then hours of sleep the drive acted as normal too. So at this point I'm super confused as to what the problem is, I booted siege up again and first game the beeping came back, this also happens in Forza Horizon 4 too, which is also on the same SSD as siege. Plus I changed the new monitors dp cable just to see if that was it but no. I've pointed the exact sound to the beep happens listening to yt videos to when the head is parked and not able to reach the platters. My next step tomorrow is to change out the sata cable and harness from the PSU (Corsair RM650x) and see if that works. Also other info, I did a clean install of windows 4 days ago and everything was fine until after I plugged in the new monitor in yesterday. The drive was also manufactured in Jan of 2017 so it's pretty new. If someone has knowledge that I'm missing that could help me narrow down this problem that'll be great, I also can provide any info if it helps!

Hello! So a little back story before we get into th maine issue. So my PSU broke a while back, so ive been letting my brother use my GPU (960 strix) in the meantime. He previously used a 560 Ti. Anyway, i finally got a new PSU for my pc and we decided to change back. The issue now is that hissystem wont boot anymore. There are 6 beeps and the power button is flahing red. Could this be because the 560 cant use the latest nvidia drivers? Or did we fuck something else up. Help would be extremely appreciated!!!

hello , ,anyone knows why my gpu`s are beeping .they beep not just both at the same time but also individual. . just for 6-10 ,, in a fixed interval between beeps ,, very hard to record this but i attached a short clip of both my gpus beeping at te same time . for both cards there is no way to replicate the issue with settings or user input. completly random - happens at idle, in windows , as wel as linux. in chrome`os and mac`os ,, - under load in windows , as wel as linux. in chrome`os and mac`os ,, - also at boot- in 3 diffent systems thus far -pre- bios enter screen as wel as after, it also happens when im in the bios settings. sound is not great but the cards beeping is not in sync . so litte hard to pick up. the background noise in the sound clip is gpu fan set at fixed 60% ,, ( one of my personal profile`s) DEFINETLY NOT MY PSU AND NEITHER THE MOTHERBOARD.. ( SAME ISSUE WITH EXTERNAL GPU ENCLOSURE AND PCI-E EXTENTION .. SO DONT START WITH THOSE) Spraak 002_sd.m4a audio clip

Hello! I installed a new memory module that is the same one as the old one (except the version, the old one is v3.24 and the new one is v5.21) I keep getting like ~40 beeps, it stops for a couple of seconds and then it starts again. Both of memory modules can be used separately, but can't be used in Dual-Channel. I tried running them is the following slots: (A1, B1) (A2, B2) (A1, A2) (B1, B2) (A1, B2) (A2, B1) The motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85-HD3 The rams: Old one: Corsair DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance CML8GX3M2A1600C9 v3.24 New One: Corsair DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance CML8GX3M2A1600C9 v5.21 CPU: Intel core i3 4150

Hello Recently I've been having a problem with my PC where It beeps when i do certain things. These include running as programs as admin and installing programs. However the beeping will also happen at seemingly random times and range from 1 to 7 beeps. I've looked through the accessibility as i initially thought it could be something there, but i didn't find anything wrong. I also thought it could potentially be a drive failing? I have noticed that the beeping normally happens when i click certain things, never when i use the keyboards. in the same time frame i have also noticed a small delay(around 1-2 seconds) when switching windows/ opening windows start bar that was not there before. Hi guys, i am getting continuous short beeps and no display. My processor is i5 2400,mobo gigabyte h61m-s revision 1.1, 6 gb of ram (4 gb kingston, 2 gb samsung, both 1333MHz), Corsair vs450 power supply. On the gigabyte site it says the mobo has an ami uefi bios but i checked the beep codes for the bios and i dont see any info for continuous short beeps. (exactly 126 short beeps and 3 long beeps after that, and after that it just stays silent). Things i tried: 1. Swapping ram, using only 1 slot n stuff 2. cleaning ram with an eraser 3. removing processor and reseating it and the cooler fan I cant do anything major like changing power supply n stuff because i dont have any spares to test it. I could go to a closeby shop for testing. But if you guys could pin point what exactly is the problem, i would be very relieved. Say power supply is bad, or ram, or something else. Thanks alot! please wait when u reply to my message. I am continuously checking this page.

I have a corsair vs450 powersupply, A kingston 4 gb and a samsung 2 gb ddr3 1333MHz ram. My problem is i get no display on the screen and the motherboard keeps giving continuous short beeps. like beep beep beep beep beep beep. I tried to see how long they go on. tried to count them but they were over 100 beeps,i couldnt count properly, they are too fast. but it was over 100 beeps and then suddenly 3 long beeps of a lower tone. I tried to look beep codes for it but wasnt able to find any. I am desperately trying to make it work but i got no idea. thats why i ask help from you guys. Thanks alot

So, launching right in - I've recently started having this issue whereby my computer will inexplicably lock up and display white lines on the screen (See picture). When I reset it by pressing the reset button on the case, it fails to post and continually beeps from that small speaker soldered onto the motherboard. Infinitely. Until I turn it off. Doing so will result in the computer failing to post and beeping and power cycling. The beeps it makes are short, and the interval between is even shorter. Think of it as analogous to one of those reversing sensors in a car when you get too close to something. What the computer is doing doesn't seem to have an effect on when these events will occur. Sometimes I could just be staring at the desktop and it will lock up, or even editing a word document or watching a YouTube video. It doesn't seem to matter. Once I saw this happen when the computer was booting. Things that may be relevant: Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64bit BIOS version: U1j (I don't know either, that's just what AIDA64 tells me) BIOS date: 20/10/2013 System Specifications: CPU: Intel i5 3570k CPU cooler: Corsair H60 120mm AIO RAM: 32GB Kingston 1600MHz DDR3 (4x8GB) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68P-UD3 Graphics: 2x Radeon HD 7970 Main SSD: Intel 535 series 480GB Secondary SSD: Intel 535 series 480GB Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB Power Supply: EVGA Nex650G1 (650W) I should probably note that while a k skew, the 3570k is not overclocked, nor has it ever been. I built the computer in 2012 and I've never had issues like this before. The graphics cards are not overclocked either as they consume enough power and produce enough heat as it is. Also, CPU temperatures are in the high 30s (°C) to low 40s (°C) when idling, and GPU temperatures are around 50°C at idle. Thanks for having a look. Much appreciated

Hello, I have a Dell Latitude 3440 laptop that beeps when trying to boot up in that really obnoxious beeping it makes when there is a system error. It doesn't do it every time, and the beep code isn't consistent either. Sometimes it beeps 2 times apparently meaning a memory error, or sometimes 5 times, meaning a real time clock failure. I have reset the cmos battery, and tried different memory, neither fixed the problem. Sometimes it doesn't beep at all for a day or two then starts without touching anything. Dell has come to replace the RAM, and then the whole motherboard with no luck from either. Any ideas at what could be causing the problem? or a way to fix it? Thanks
