I bought a 16gb kit of Ballistix gaming memory ddr4-3200. Put them in my machine and was running with Aura and had no problems. About a month later, i bought another 16gb kit, plug them in and now i cant control it with aura. So i download the DDR4 Ballistix M.O.D. Utility, it controls all 4 sticks for a while and then the leds lockup. I try and load the utility and it gives me a motherboard not supported error. If i reboot it works again for a while and then locks up again. Is anyone else having this issue? Any thoughts on fixing it? Hello members, Sorry for annnoother ram stability topic. The topic is so vast I decided to create a topic. I have been reading for weeks now about ram stability, and would appreciate any specific help: - I specifically purchased 3000MHZ ram (Ballistix Tactical Tracer 16X2) but can't seem to get a stable system above 2400MHZ on "auto". - System stability = 1 hour AIDA64 stress test (is this sufficient?) Should I even care? I certainly would like to take advantage of any benefits (for a content creation workstation) a higher RAM frequency, but the more I read forums, the more it seems it doesn't really matter. Are there any suggestions you all might have? Edited up to date notes: Bios is up to date I ran several configurations but found that DOCP or Auto tune to anything above 2400MHZ crashes system in AIDA64 *No, my ram is not on the QVL

Hi there, I bought an 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport LT stick last year (specifically BLS8G4D240FSA). Now, I‘d like to upgrade my PC with another stick - but Crucial brought out a new version at the end of last year (the BLS8G4D240FSB) and the last generation one (FSA) isn‘t available in europe anymore. I ask because in the past I've only bought Corsair, Kingston and A-Data, but never from Crucial since they're pretty new in my country. So is it good or not so much?

So I just bought myself another 2 x 8GB of RAM from Crucial and I already had two other sticks of RAM. So the problem now is that I cannot find a way to use the Ballistix M.O.D. Utility because it keeps staying on the Loading screen and saying "Reading Modules" it also has a pop up that comes up behind the back of the loading screen and the error says "DLL Status Error!! OLS_DRIVER_NOT_LOADED" If anyone can find a way around this or to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm looking through my options for RAM, with the main necessities being "DDR4", "Quad Channel", and "32gb", and I've come across two different models of Crucial Ballistix. The first is the Ballistix Sport, and the second is the Ballistix Elite. Now I'll admit I don't know much when it comes to RAM, so I have no idea what kind of numbers I'm looking for or how they affect performance. All I know is that the Sport kit is $40 cheaper than the Elite one. Skimming through specs, it looks like the main differences are that the Sport has a speed of DDR4-2400 and a latency of 16-16-16, whereas the Elite is PC4-2666 and 16-17-17. Will this result in a noticeable difference between the two, or will I be able to get by with the cheaper kit (even though I love the look of the Elite)? It should be noted that I do a mix of gaming, video editing/rendering, and a lot of work in Adobe software.

so i bought two pairs of 4GBx2 of Ballistix Tactical Tracer recently to refinish my "blue" LED build after swapping out things, the same ram that Linus has used in his past builds. i'm using it on an sabertooth z77 board and an 3770k. the problem i'm having is that when i install all 4 sticks to run at 1866, my pc goes into an on | off loop. but as soon i use only 2 or even 3 in different DIMM configurations with the XMP profile, the ram works perfectly fine. i can use the ram in any slot and they will read at the intended XMP on 1866, just as long as there isnt a 4th stick involved. i tried using manual mode and input the timings myself as well as the frequency. i tried a slight overclock to the CPU, i i tried upping the voltage of the RAM and reducing it, and of course i tried a CMOS reset. it all still does the same thing. however, setting all the sticks to 1600 will boot just fine.

Hello everyone! I'm basically new the building my own PC. I have previously had 2 laptops and a Windows XP desktop that were all prebuilt and bought for me. I am now 18 and basically looking to move on to bigger and brighter things with my computing experience and also within my future. Ahoi guys, i bought an Intel Pentium G3258 „Anniversary Edition“ and a cheap used ASUSTek H87-Plus Mainboard, 'cause I heard Linus talking on NCIX Tech Tips about the bios update that allows to overclock the processor. My problem is that I careless bought a high profile 2x4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3 Ram. The RAM itself is 45mm high and directly from the mainboard it's 49mm. Can someone give me an advice which CPU-Cooler fits above or beside the RAM and is suitable for a bit overclocking? ^^ greetings, saturnu
