I broke my phone beyond repair, but I have access to multiple old phones. The problem is that my sim card is a 5g sim card. It is not compatible with the old phones. Is there a way to "downgrade" my sim card? I need to keep my number and plan, in case it is important I have Verizon and I live in the USA, but I want a normal sim card so I can just use one of the old phones because I have no money for a new phone right now. Please lend me your knowledge! The old phones are an old iPhone 7 (I think), and multiple old flip phones.

So being me, I do not like using things that just work. I like taking things that don't really work and just forcing them to anyway. And my current keyboard works. It's responsive, it's quiet, it's even convenient to carry around. I am not satisfied. Therefore I want a custom keyboard made that is stupidly loud, massive overall (like, three or four feet long is what I'm thinking), and horribly impractical for anything like gaming due to absolute shit keys. Obviously this is going to be expensive, but I want to know who it'll be the least expensive from. Skilled maker not required!

So now AMD is making an ass of itself as well just like Nvidia just did, changing the embargo dates last minute and Steve from GN thought it was a sloppy mess but Im surprised he didn't see that actually... That part was a very clever move... They clearly waited specifically hear what Nvidia announced the 4060 non-Ti price as. Also the card only has 8GB of VRAM - from the company that is always generous with VRAM... What the Hell... I mean at least the performance is only supposed to compete with the 4060 Non-Ti do maybe 8GB is okay-ish down at this low performance level...? At least they made the right call last minute to drop the price down to $270. Thats extremely cheap for a modern GPU. So at least we have some sort of affordable option now... Even if its performance actually isn't very good... Barely beats the 6600 by less than 10%... Same as Nvidia Yesterday... What the hell is going on here? Why are next gen GPUs failing so hard at low-mid tier? AMD did so well with the flagship 7900-XTX besting the RTX 4080 for a lower price with the XT becoming decent value after the price dropped below $800. Then we have the amazing technical achievement that is the RTX 4090 and at least the 4080 has 16GB of VRAM which is appropriate. I feel bad for everyone who doesn't want to spend multiple thousands of dollars on a top-tier PC because it looks like you guys are just screwed in general now. Lets hope AMD at LEAST has 12GB in the 7600-XT and then 16GB in the 7700 and up. Like Steve said in his video - just wait for July, let these guys battle it out for a while.

Well, Steve from GN set it best in his video: "The RTX 4060-Ti may actually be Dead on Arrival" The card is basically worthless, with less than 10% performance improvement overall over the much cheaper last-gen 3060-Ti; there is absolutely NO reason for ANYONE to buy this card considering the 60 class is supposed to be a good value. And of course because the non-Ti is just a slightly shaved down version, The results compared to last-gen 3060 non-Ti Well very likely be exactly the same. There is only one positive here: efficiency. A bit more powerful than the 3060-Ti at just 140 Watts??? That is certainly impressive, too bad nobody upgrading cares... So far it seems that everything from Nvidia below the 4070-Ti is just a huge disappointment. Welp, grab your 6700-XTs while you still can Nvidia has just officially made a complete ass of itself.

I have an ASUS ROG GL552JX with integrated Intel HD 4600 and a dedicated NVIDIA GTX 950M. Applications using the integrated graphics are working fine and does not show any artifacts. The same thing cannot be said when using the NVIDIA GPU (changed thru NVIDIA Control Panel) Does this mean my GPU is dying? The only thing I've tried was reinstalling old/new NVIDIA Drivers. laptop sucks ay? Hi I recently bought this monitor and I did some research on it before buying obviously, I read that flickering was a big problem but that it could be fixed with the latest firmware update from samsung. I've now noticed that the monitor instead of flickering gives me some weird random black lines every so often. Its a bit hard to explain but ive found this video on youtube that shows the problem. Sadly I cant return it since its been over 14 days since I bought it. Does anyone know why the monitor does this? It happens really often and is so annoying to look at, I did not expect this from samsung. Things I've tried - using a different display port cable, enable/disable gsync and updating the firmware.

I tell you that I bought a second-hand gpu that seems to be faulty, I have been looking for thousands of solutions in this and other forums, I have seen that many people have run into this problem but none find the solution. The problem is that the core clock remains capped at 139mhz and the memory clock does not exceed 810mhz and the performance in games and beanchmarks are really bad, 12 FPS in Furmark I have already done different tests such as putting high performance mode in Windows and in the Nvidia panel, using DDU, reinstalling drivers, a clean installation of windows, using MSI Afterburner, Asus GPUTweekII, after trying various things I was forced to try flashing a BIOS taken from Techpowerup, but it didn't solve anything. So far the only thing I have found is that in GPU-Z the Power Draw Board is + 400w, PCIe Slot Power + 390w and a Power of 147% DOING NOTHING, simply on the desktop, a Perfcap reason is also added: Pwr, and a solid green line. It also strikes me that the voltage is constantly 0.65v (I don't know what the normal voltage is). https://imgur.com/4zAuHK6 https://imgur.com/KW14JCX https://imgur.com/tTXqzCI I am currently using an Aerocool Cylon 600w 80+ bronze PSU, I know it is a bit fair but the previous owner told me that he tested it with an 850w 80+ source, so we could rule out a power issue from the PSU, already that in neither of the two systems has worked well. I hope you can help me, and thank you very much in advance !! AMD Ryzen 5 2600x Asrock b450m Steel legend 2x8GB RAM Corsair vengeance

So i noticed my pc running a little slow and i decided to do some maintenance like dusting, freeing up space, clearing cache and cookies etc but once noticed once i put my GPU back in it was VERY unstable, boot loops and BSOD etc, i narrowed this issue down to the power plug not being seated properly ( the pins were slightly bent from when i turned my pc around to remove the card, yes i know.. take it out before i move it.) once i fixed that it booted up just fine but now i crash while playing games and im not exactly sure why, i mainly play csgo and before cleaning i was at 170+fps and after i was seeing over 250 so i thought "ooo nice" but then i noticed some issues, i banged my desk which i do pretty regularly but this time it completely froze my computer which was not a good sign at all, so i booted it back up and rejoined my game and after about 5 minutes i noticed some very odd audio glitches in the game, static like but also jumbled up voices/songs mixed in? but it was directional and only happening when the game itself produced any sound, footsteps gun shots etc, at this point all my weapon skins would disappear and after about a minute my computer would again crash. what could this be caused by? bad gpu? bad cpu? bad HDD? Hello everyone! I ordered a second kit of 2x8gb DDR4 3000 RAM, the exact same I got a year ago. But they are not the same. Although the product hasn't changed from the outside or the stats, the inside has. I found out about this while looking at my SPD info. Some really small things about the RAM have changed, and I was wondering if these changes might affect my performance or XMP. I have some screenshots of the SPD info, so if anyone knows how serious the differences are, please tell me. All help is appreciated https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-Ar7q1-YfoEfoadRqRmsVA4SlEdo0u5r?usp=sharing

Budget (including currency): $1,200 USD Country: Colombia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant, Various low intensity squad games (nothing AAA) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Looking to build a mini ITX machine, mostly due to size constraints. The case is a stylistic choice so it most likely won't be changed. Existing part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4k6bZw The list was put together in about 15 min without too much thought, but that's the general line of specs I'm looking for. The brands and models can be swapped around for better pricing/performance if need be, will listen to whatever changes you make. Missing fans, they can be any model you might recommend. Looking to purchase parts in about a month from now or less, don't worry about peripherals. Refresh rate and resolution about 144Hz - 165Hz, 1080p. Thanks in advance for all and any help.

Hello. I'm actually looking for abit of help on this subject, since i have no idear what to do in my given situation. So here is the deal in short if someone can give advise of maybe help me what i should do next In 2016 i brought the brand new MSI GT80 2QE Titan sli. And im not rich at all so this was very expensive for me. i brought the laptop because i traveled with work a lot and wanted to game in my time off. So it was the perfect fit because i could uprade the GPU later on, as promised by MSI. Well fast forward 1.5 year then next gen GPU come out, with the statement from MSI. We were wrong you can't upgrade you MSI laptop you can trade it in and get 0.6 of the value of what you paid for it IF you upgrade to then newest MSI titan. this did not make me happy but, it is what it is. Then fast forward to 23 month after i bought the laptop. I was gaming and out of nowhere it stopped worked just black out. Well lucky me 1 month before then warranty expires. So i sent in the laptop to MSI, and they said it was a fault on their end with the GPU and they replaced it and sent it back. Nice so that extended the warrenty on that GPU to 24 months again. Fast forward 25 month, what happens the exact same thing! the laptop just goes black stops working, im thinking this can't be right. So i text support that im really not happy about this i paid 4000$ for this laptop it broke down twice with on month of warrenty, they tell me to send it to sweden and they have a repair station there that will look at it since its out of warranty and then they will contact me when we get the info from the repair shop. I wait a week to get response from the workshop. Its the GPU AGAIN!, and i could repair it for as little as 1200$ because they would need to replace it. Now im getting mad i contact MSI support again and tell, they say we will contact a supervisor and get back to you. a week later, i feel like its okay for me to text them about any news. Now they are saying you can ship it to Poland to another workshop because it MIGHT be cheaper there, MIGHT. And i had to pay 90$ to get the laptop back from sweden because of shipping. I have never felt so little respect as a customer. Again i paid 4000$ for a laptop that broke twice and i was lucky the first time it was 1 month before warranty expired. I really wanna do something about this thought because it cant be right they have the right to do stuff like this. i just don't know what i have all the E-mail and stuff. So im hoping some one can give me some advise

So I have a problem with my 7700k build and I couldn't think of a better place to ask about it than right here! As you can see below, when running a Cinebench test, my score is a whole almost 800 points lower than the comparable system (#7. #10 is an old run). Why is this? Whatever it is, to me it seems like I have a loss to the full power of my CPU, and I can definitely feel that when streaming a game like Destiny 2, and can only stream it at 720p60 and my CPU is pushing 100% the whole time and stutter starts to happen. Below are the only differences between the two 7700k builds: #7 System (Comparison System 7700k): - Render Score: 2420 - Windows 10, 64-bit, Core (build 17763) - Cinebench Version: 20.030 RBBenchmark270378 64-bit My build (Also 7700k build, 1070ti if that makes a difference): - Render Score: 1691 - Windows 10, 64-bit, Professional Edition (build 18362) - Cinebench Version: 20.060 RBBenchmark281795 64-bit If anyone can give me some insight as to why this is the case and work to figure out what is going on here, it'd be a great help. Because as stated before, I do believe i am suffering performance loss due to it as a buddy of mine with a slightly worse AMD CPU than mine (like 11% slower i believe when I googled it) can push 1080p60 clean as day.

Just asking but how was your experience in making your first pc? What was the hardest part and what was the easiest part? What were you most concerned about and did the end result come out as you expected? Was it easier or harder than you thought?

Hi, i have a hard drive that has a very strange problem. it is VERY SLOW but all my software tells me that the drive is perfectly fine. does anyone have a program for windows that will run tests on the drive to determine if the drive is good or bad??? Check Disk is not very helpful as i have ran it and nothing has helped. if the drive turns out to be bad i am not gonna be sad as it was pulled from a laptop that was having it HDD replaced with an SSD :D.

Im having issues with either my monitors or much more likely, my graphics card. I installed my new graphics card recently, a SAPPHIRE Nitro+ RX 480 4gb. After the installation i also changed my secondary monitor to a wider one, an HP S2031; Primary is an HP w2207. On startup both monitors will turn on and show the buncha numbers; then, my primary monitor will go to sleep, i have to turn my primary off and on again to get it to work then sign into my PC. It is really frustrating and i want to know if my Graphics card is defective before the unknown length warranty passes. I've had the graphics card for probably 1-2 weeks now. Other Specs: CPU: FX-4100 GPU: Stated Above Motherboard: GA-78lmt-USB3 PSU: EVGA 500w B1 (Also installed with my Graphics card if its relevant) Hard Disc, no SSD. All of these parts except PSU and GPU are about 4 years old Ty EDIT: Turns out it didnt work... worked for one boot up. Same issue, i ran DDU and reinstalled the drivers from AMD page, the drivers it recommended me to download. Still no luck... ;-;

SO my experiences with türks arent the best, i mean i have some very good türkish friends, but most türks i dont know i am not a big fan of and heres why: it all started with a discussion about BMW ot Nissan/Toyota. me bringing better arguments why nissan is better, made this türkish man very mad... he started lieing about his family bing rich and having loads of cars and houses and all that stuff, which of course none was true... so i was like yeahh sure you got all that stuff and so on, after a while i had to leave so i just said bye and left.... 2 days later i was walking home from school when the same guy was standing infromt of me with his 4 other "cousins". all in all i ended up getting stabbed in the thigh, which is why i am not a big fan of türks that i dont know. what about you guys?
