Hi, I am a novice PC build enthusiast from Australia who is looking at getting my first gaming rig. Due to my lack of experience I have decided to outsource the build to a custom PC manufacturer (Scorptec), based in Australia. My parts budget is $3600 but can stretch to $3800 if need be. I have already made a list of desired components and was just looking for some feedback before I finalize my purchase. Astro A40's are extremely comfortable and sound very nice, especially when gaming. They are semi-open back. The best gaming headphones I've ever used. Being a user of Apple Pay, and loving it, not having to unlock my phone and also having the ability to use my watch (even when my phone is't present) that is extremely handy as well, albeit a lot more awkward to do. I feel that unless Apple also opened up the Apple Pay API, everyone solution would be garbage in comparison. Being able to hold my phone next to the NFC terminal takes literally seconds since I don't have to unlock my phone and look around pages of apps for my bank app, then sign into that one and so on, holding everyone up while you do so. Apple will open up the NFC at some point not necessarily iOS 10 or 11 but they will, they'll have to and when they do it'll cause a lot of apps that just don't hold up as well as Apple Pay's senselessness and perfect integration into iOS. However saying that it will benefit all these other areas is true, although to my knowledge a lot of these can be achieved though Apple's wallet app, but I may be wrong and it probably only allowed for certain developers. PC's main priority is gaming with light editing on the side. Any recommendations to save money without compromising performance would be nice. PC will be overclocked. Hi. I've been having a few issues with my motherboard, mainly around the rear-panel audio. I've diagnosed the speakers and they even work through the front panel audio on my case. I don't want to spend money on getting a sound card, so I would like to (hopefully if the warranty's still up) RMA the motherboard to Gigabyte. I've owned the motherboard for about 16 months now, how would I go about RMA'ing the board? Or is it better to go to the place where I bought my computer? Thanks, Alpha.

Hey the title says it all, where is the best/cheapest place in Australia(or imported to Australia) to buy a 1440p monitor.

Currently collecting hardware for a new build. i already have: GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (awaiting shipment) Asus Maximus VIII Ranger 16gig (2x8) corsair vengeance 2400mhz ddr4 i7 6700k (current define R4) (current ssd's) Need to buy a new power supply, case fans and a cpu cooler (i'd prefer air) Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm from Australia by the way so your suggestions will probably be more expensive for me than you think.

So I've just pre-orded a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 (new build) and i need a motherboard for the I7 6700k i bought previously. The problem is i live in Australia and we get price gauged pretty bad. I've heard people recommend the MSI Z170A GAMING M5 but the cheapest i can find that board including delivery is $315 Aud would you still recommend this board at that price? Or are there better options?

Hey all, I'm gonna be building a new pc come the start of the financial year and want to run it past you guys to see if it can be improved. It will be used for gaming and streaming games to my Shield TV. I know its a bit overkill but I want to indulge, however if some dosh can be saved I'm all ears. So i've put together this build and i plan on ordering and building this pc some time next week but i just want to know what you think and whether its enough to run games at +60fps on medium to high settings. Mr Peter Melvin Kleinig has already lost million to scammers but refuses to stop sending them money despite repeated warnings. Consumer protection officials had to step and file legal action to stop him from sending more money to what Mr Kleinig believes to be a legitimate investment. So I'm in the market for a new chair, but it seems that the only two that have caught any attention from me are impossible to get. Maxnomic has no Australian store and doesn't ship here and the Australian DXRacer store is useless as it is always out of stock on any chair I might want. The chair I have at the moment (this piece of shit) is worthless at this point. Any leaning at all makes loud squeaking noises, the lean tensioner is broken, with leaning locked it still squeaks its noisy ass back and forth a few degrees diagonally, the padding on the arm rests is worn and hangs obscenely over the sides and worst of all, the actual seat has lost all padding where I actually sit and I now basically just sit on leather covered plywood. I'm particularly interested in the Maxnomic and any help or other suggestions would be very much appreciated.
