Hi everyone, I bought a new pair of RAM, ADATA (8GBx2) (2666 / XMP 3200) (Model: XPG Z1 DDR4), the problem is the speed of the rams. They are working at 2400, above that the pc enter in an infinite reboot loop. I tried with 1 stick first OK, second stick loop. I update the BIOS, reset the cmos jumper+battery+15min The sticks are fine I tested with mem diag+ mem 86 I tried to change 1.2v to 1.35v and 1.38v, the same problem I tried all slots combinations. I hope someone can help. Hi, I was looking to build a rig for the first time and I had a question about the RGB in the case. The case from Cougar has 2 RGB strips in the front. The issue is the case doesn't specify what kind of pin the RGB lights plug into. I found a review on NewEgg saying the RGB strips are 3 pin but the mobo is 4 pin. Can anyone confirm this? And is there a workaround this? Also, is there any convenient way to turn off the RGB on the fans and on the case if I need to? Hi, I'm using a asrockH370M-ITX/ac board, with a i7-9700k and a GTX 1070 and thought I had enough usb bandwidth for 3 oculus sensors with a kinect 360 for body tracking. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wanted to ask if asrock fixed the usb-c header being blocked by the mounted GPU? I saw people saying they rotated the header to make it horizontal in a new revision called "R1.06". and some people say they started to include an adapter inside the box to fix it. Which i never found proof for any of these claims. No pictures for the rotated header. and no new video unboxing that includes an adapter in the box. I just ordered it 2 days ago and came across these problems now. I plan on mounting the GPU vertically anyway so it wouldn't be a problem but i would like to know!

Hello all, I want to change my old x370 for a midrange b450 and was looking at the B450 Fatal1ty K4. Will board be able to support a 3500(non-x)/3600 on the latest bios because that's the max I will run on that board. Also Asrock says its a 6+3 phase but in reality I think its a 3+3 with doublers. Hi Guys, I'm trying to get back into building a new pc since I sold my pc 2 years ago due to financial reason. Now that I got back on my feet I trying to build a new one. After searching the internet I found that the AMD Rx 5700xt is the one with performance and value that I wanted. ( I don't want to go with the Rx 5700 bios flash route) And I'm currently torn to choose between these 2 card as they were the cheapest from reputable brand that I can find. 1.Asrock RX 5700 XT Phantom Gaming D 8G OC 2.MSI 5700 XT mech OC (this card 10USD more than the Asrock) If anyone has one of these card please tell me your experience that I can find review for the MSI card but not so much for the Asrock. Btw I'm from Malaysia.

Hello guys, I have problem with my motherboard ASRock B450 fatal1ty gaming k4. When i set CSM to disabled, I have black screen in BIOS and POST. I found that i must disable FULL HD BIOS. But after that I realized that my BIOS is alway displays in high resolution. Other details: Thank you for helping me! .. and also, sorry if this ends up being a lengthy post. So my secondary system is seriously starting to show its age (used to be a mid-range pc five years ago, now it's just old) that's why I decided to upgrade. This is the first time that I'm building a pc myself, usually, I'd ask a friend for help but this time I wanted to build one myself...and then I realized that I probably screwed up, and should cancel my purchase before Monday. What's is this pc for: Expect it's usage to be something like: Because of this, I figured that a Ryzen 5 3600 should suffice, nice benchmarks, nice reviews, every tech reviewer channel recommends it if you are on a budget. Besides, I didn't want to spend too much money on my new processor, since Ryzen 7 is way too expensive where I live, and at that point, I rather get a Ryzen 9 instead. Which defeats the purpose of this build, since I already have a beefy computer for doing everything this system can't. With that in mind, my budget at the moment is 600 USD (American USD). If it's an important component I can push it to 650. So what am I buying? What are my options?: Reusing from previous build: So what's the problem? The more I read and research about the 3600 (especially those with similar motherboards, or MSI mobos, or Asus..)the more I find that it's unstable, XMP issues, driver issues, bios issues, prone to BSODs, or not booting at all, or that the system decides to reset randomly while on idle. Is this normal? Is that what I should expect from getting a 3600? I'm asking this unironically, I need a rock-solid system, I can't afford to lose 5hs of work because the system decided to reset on a whim, or spend X amount of time troubleshooting when I should be working. Of course, I realize that this is a rather new architecture, they probably have to iron out most of the bugs yet, however it is scary to read people asking for help on several-month-old threads, with no solution at all. So... What should I do? I seriously want to give AMD a chance. Is it safe to get a Ryzen 5 3600 or am I better off with an i5-10400/f (durability and stability wise)? I'm planning on not upgrading for at least 3 years after building this computer, so I'm concerned about its durability as well. If I can avoid a dead mobo within a year, that'd be great. If someone with experience can point me in the right direction here I would seriously appreciate it. Edit: Typo. -
I might have chosen wrong CPU, but I always wanted a Threadripper. This is the Setup: AMD Ryzen TR 2920X WOF 3500 TR4 BOX 12cores Seagate Firegate SSD 1TB FC520 PCIe4 M.2 SEA Seag 4TB ST4000DM004 5400 SA3 Asro8GB D5 RX 580 Phantom Gaming D OC (this was a wrong choice wanted to Crossfire with existing RX580) Corsair RM1000i 1000W ATX24 Aerocool Tor Pro bk E-ATX 64GB Corsair Venegance Pro RGB (4*16gb) Asrock X399 Taichi X399 CoolerMastaer MasterLiquid ML240P Mirage aRGB ( personal i think is bit on the weak site, but without overclock usable) (Cooling I want actually replace with a Chain of one 280MM conected to a 360MM and might even use a 3rd one for the Front 480mm) Just want to do this for the Fun since i never see a setup like this. But need save some money for it since I likly go to try Alphacool system than. (because easy to extent and connect to each other.) But as you can see on Image 4 I need bit more cooling. Some one might tips for good timings for the Corsair Rams?

Hi, I have a problem with getting display on LVDS screen. I have ASRock A320TM-ITX motherboard and AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with iGPU. Motherboard has LVDS connector, which seems to be 2ch 8bit. I bought LG LP101WH1-TLB4 display; which is LVDS 1ch 6bit, resolution 1366x768@60Hz; and 2ch 6bit 30 to 40 pin LVDS cable. Problem is, that I have backlight, screen is recognized in OS, but I don't get any display. First it started with1920x1080@60Hz resolution, I've changed it down, but still didn't get display. In Radeon control center it has name "LED1920x1080" and EDP connector. I have tried changing to 6 bit color, but there isn't any option, as well as custom resolution doesn't work. I cannot see in BIOS any options reffering to "built-in" display and I don't know what to do. Probably I have another LVDS screen in my laptop, but I must disassemble it. So my question is how to get this to work alltogether?

My B550 Board preorder from newegg was just delayed its release until the 19th. Anyone else have the same problem? I ordered the ASRock B550 Extreme4 AM4 Motherboard. Is this an ASRock thing or an AMD thing?

The case comes with it's own RGB controller for it's included 3 RGB fans. The controller has a 3pin ARGB and 4pin PWM cable, and says it's compatible with ASRock's Polychrome RGB software. My motherboard has 3 LED ports from what I can tell, one listed RGB_LED1, ADDR_LED1, and AMD_LED1 ... each being 4 pins. So my question is ... how should I go about plugging everything in? -
Hi, So as I was browsing our ecommerce sites, I stumbled upon this seller from China who sells Asrock Steel Legend b450 motherboards. He was able to provide a photo and all but I'm still anxious if I should proceed with the order. Is this packaging legit one from asrock? It appears to have Chinese translations for each label.

So I am researching and working on getting a new pc,and am currently deciding on the ASRock B450m Pro4 mobo. I know a lot of about the mobo, yet I am still unsure of the EXACT drivers I would need to download. Since there are no tabs on specific drivers, I am confused on which driver is important and which is optional. Can anyone tell me what drivers I would need to download? I was looking at some newer motherboards like x570, z490 and most of them advertise 2oz copper pcb. Whaf does this mean? Is it a thicker pcb for better electrical conductivity for better oc or just some mumbo jumbo marketing bs?

Hi all, I have built my first gaming pc (on a budget) about a month ago. Running an Asrock B450M Steel Legend MOBO, with a ryzen 3300X cpu. I am running in to an issue where I wanted to use the USB C port on the motherboard, however when anything is plugged in I don’t receive anything in windows other than “this USB device is not working properly”. Every other USB port is working flawlessly, both on the MOBO and the case. Please help with some suggestions, I am not the best computer wiz but I think I can muster my way around what needs doing once I receive some advice. I have checked the bios settings but nothing seems obvious, and after numerous google searches I figured I might as well create an account, and see if my first post here could be a success! If I have left out any other relevant information, please see ask for required specs

Hello, I need help finding a reliable pcie usb card that is compatible with ryzen am4 platform. I had 2 sent from me from work and they did not work as they are older. Do any of you know or have pcie usb expansion cards that you recommend or know that work? Preferably a pcie usb expansion card with 4+ ports. The motherboard I have is the asrock x570 steel legend. Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my pc, but I'm getting a really strange issue. I'm upgrading my cpu, ram and mobo (parts list below). The ram and mobo upgrade went fine, but when I upgraded my cpu, the windows spinning dots start stuttering forever, and I can't boot. I thought it was just a bad cpu, so I returned it but my new one is doing it as well, this happens with both my new and old motherboard, and new and old ram, and never happens with my old cpu, so I have no idea if something is incompatible with 3rd gen ryzen? Or what else the problem could be Parts: Ryzen 5 2400g trying to upgrade to 3600 Mobo: Asrock A320M-HDV upgraded to Asrock B450M-HDV (latest bios on both) Ram 1x16gb 2400mhz upgraded to 2x8gb 3600mhz 1060 6gb, 450W PSU Thanks

Just built a PC, been about 10 years since I have built one so I don't know if it's something I am doing wrong. But to keep things short. I tested all parts before installing and also boot Linux from ram using a USB and everything works fine. Just after installing windows 10 fresh copy from USB after initial setup ( screen saying "getting everything ready for you") the pc restarts like it should and goes back to the same screen for the rest of initial setup and then locks ups and moves no further.( the little circle comprising of the little circles)-stops moving and doesn't continue on with the boot up. Things I have tried ----------------------------- Disabled fast boot , Cleared CMOS, Checked all connections , Booted with no USB devices connect, Changed boot order multiple times, Reinstalled windows multiple times, And updated bios. Am I missing something here? The hard drive was from another computer with windows on it working before moving it to the new case but different mother board. Intel i5 6500 Corsair 8gb 2133 (checked compatibility before buying) ASRock h110-itx 256gb SSD Evga 500watt 80+ silver No GPU yet

[Reposting this in PSUs] Hi helpful people, I am having a bit of trouble. So, recently I've encountered some strange issues with my USB-connected devices, like my keyboard. Or like recently, my external sound card. When I start my computer, my keyboard sometimes doesn't light up and I have to replug it to fix the issue. I've never seen this as a problem, but recently I've been annoyed by my USB sound card not working when I boot into windows. As with the keyboard, I usually replug it and after 5 seconds it works again. Now, this is quite annoying, as every time I replug it, Nvidia Shadowplay decides that my mic is gone. (Don't know how and why) Also when I save replays without re-visiting the settings, there is not even in-game sound on the recordings. I've tried reinstalling the audio drivers to see if that was the problem, but it persists. So it must be something with the USB ports, my motherboard or the power delivery. I have ordered a replacement sound card to cancel out the possibility of a faulty USB cable... its due to arrive tomorrow (wed) Specs or Devices: ASRock B350 ITX Fatality Creative Soundblaster X-Fi HD Gigabyte Force K85 bequiet! Pure Power 10 500W Any experience or help on this?

Hello everyone, I got a nice fat issue to solve anyone with ideas what it could be please reply:) basically this is my email to ASRock support, well they haven't replied after 9 days so I called them up and the guy said over the phone part magic will sort my issue out well it didn't, I spent £130 on the phone call it was 45 min because he did not understand how it could not work and didn't believed a single word I said so I could have just bought a 1TB SSD instead of calling them LOL. So any help will be much appruciated basically none of the normal solutions seem to work tried clearing it out from disk part etc nothing seems to work as soon as i put the MB to raid mode it dissapiers you can only see it in BIOS. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, I need help. In December of 2017 i build my first PC: MB: AsRock Z370 Pro4 CPU: 8600k stock clock (can OC to 5Ghz but don't need so much juice ?) GPU: Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ RAM: ADATA XPG Z1 2x4GB OC @ 3000Mhz (from 2666Mhz) Cooler: CM Hyper 212X I knew the RAM can be more, but coming from Pentium E5700 with 4GB RAM and Radeon HD5760, this PC was a BEAST already! I've always wanted to upgrade to 16GB of RAM when I get some cash so a few months later I was looking at modules and prices and was thinking of getting another 2x4GB for a 4x4GB but saw on forums that's not as good as 2x8GB, not to mention that the Z1 RAM modules were no longer available in my country ?. Eventually when I finally found some money I started looking at (RGB) TridenZ, Vengance, HyperX and then I saw the new XPG Spectrix D41 2x8GB 3200Mhz. I bought it as its something not many people use in their builds so its quiet unique and ofc it looks awesome. Later when I got to install it at first it was running at 2666Mhz 1.20V but ofc I wanted to make it run at its advertised clock speeds. I've tryed manually clocking it to 1.35V and then using the XPM to get it to 3200Mhz but no luck, my PC can't even boot. Eventually it settled at 3000Mhz and 1.20V (never ran a benchmark but games are smooth). How can I (Can I?) make it run at 3200Mhz? The MOBO is said to support 4000+Mhz so I doubt it can't provide enough power for the RAM (see the screenshot). Does my CPU need to be OC as the clock speeds are getting too close RAM/CPU (3200/3600)?
