I was wondering if the AsRock X570 Taichi has enough USB 2 headers for using a NZXT X72 in a NZXT H710I I ordered a USB hub but it hasn't arrived yet, i'm just not sure if I even needed it in the first place.

[Current Specs] Asrock B450M Pro4 Ryzen 5 3600 2x8GB CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 3000MHz GT 710 [soon to be upgraded] SanDisk SSD Plus 240GB WD Blue 1TB Cooler Master N200 EVGA Bronze 650W BQ Hey there, I just got these parts together for a build, but I'm having issues getting it to boot. Currently it spins up fans, loads the BIOS logo with the hotkeys in the right-hand corner, then, no matter what you do, it moves to a black screen and hangs. There was only one time I got it to work, to which it booted to the BIOS setup, and nothing had changed from a previous unsuccessful run, and when rebooted in the same state ended up hanging just like normal. I've tried: Re-plugging RAM [no change] Swapping graphics for a GTX 1080 [no change] Unplugging everything except for GPU, GPU power, case and CPU fans, and power [no change] Unplugging GPU and using the motherboard HDMI [nothing showed at all] Using a single DIMM of RAM, trying each stick in the specified "A2" slot for sick #1 [no change] There's no POST code, there's no beeping, there's no indication anything is actually wrong except for the fact that nothing is actually happening. The board's box, though I'm sure it doesn't really mean anything, does specify that it is Ryzen 3000 ready, but I can't check the BIOS version or even flash one as... nothing happens. I'm at a loss with this thing, I've tried almost everything save reseating the CPU itself. Not sure what the problem would even be at this point. Any ideas? I can send images, try pretty much anything you throw at me. Just want to have this working ASAP. Also for those curious no, this isn't a gaming setup, its goal was future-proofing and productivity, so I went with quality cheap storage, an mATX board and RAM at a good speed, alongside the multi-core of the Ryzen 5 3600. Planned on installing a GTX 970 that we have yet to pick up from Craigslist. However if there's anything we might want to swap out or improve I'm open for suggestions.

For those having constant BSODs using an AsRock motherboard with Crucial Ballistix RAM, I have found a fix that not many people have suggested, and I want to make it more known. If I had known to do this earlier, it would have saved me from a week of troubleshooting and trying to fix blue screens. My build uses an AsRock B450 Steel Legend and Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer RGB 3200 MHz RAM, but this fix may also apply to other AsRock motherboards and Crucial RAM. Here is a list of the blue screens I was getting (if they do not match what you are getting then this fix probably won't work): memory_management system_service_exception irql_not_less_or_equal pfn_list_corrupt Here are the steps I took to fix this issue: Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool. I just did a single pass basic test. If you get an error, you probably have the same problem as me. If not, it's probably because of something else. (Optional) Replace your RAM. It may be because of faulty RAM. However, this may not be the issue, and isn't what fixed the problem for me. I actually did replace my RAM, and was still getting errors when running the Diagnostic Tool. Go into motherboard BIOS and make sure your motherboard is running the RAM at a high enough voltage. My motherboard was only supplying 1.2 V, and my RAM needed 1.35 V. Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool again. If you got an error before, but don't get one now, the problem should be fixed. After doing steps four and five, I haven't had any blue screens for over two weeks. If those steps didn't fix the blue screens, and you are still getting errors when running the Memory Diagnostic Tool, you probably just have faulty RAM and should get it replaced. Hopefully this helped fix the issue for you as well though.

This is not a crticism of Ryzen, I'm not that brave! It's just my own experience. Last July I finally felt it was time to upgrade my trusty old i5 2500k. I have a 1660 ti and use my pc for a bit of gaming, World of Tanks and a few strategy games and also for the online degree I'm in the middle of doing so I'm not a power user which is why my 2500k has lasted me so long. After much research based on my "late in life" student's tight budget as well as my useage requirements I had pretty much decided on an i5 9400f on a B360 but the reviews on the Zen2 from AMD when it came out made me feel it was better to stretch the budget. Although the Ryzen 5 3600 was way more than I need it seemed stupid to not spend the extra £100 to get myself a system that would still be quite capable in a few years time. So I bought myself a Ryzen 5 3600 paired with an asrock B450 Pro4 atx mobo. I got 16gb of Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz ram suitable for AM4 platform as that was the closest confirmation I could get for compatibility - asrock still today haven't got a memory QVL for Matisse which is great! I got the build running no problem, got temps under control with an aftermarket cooler but had a lot of BSoD until asrock released their second bios for 3rd gen Ryzen which helped a lot with stability, only got a BSoD about once a week with a few random program crashes thrown in for fun. Not totally stable but I knew that was a downside of being an early adopter and asrock's next bios update (3.60) at the start of August improved things further. Everything seemed great until early November iirc then I began to get endless BSoD's with many different and seemingly random codes which made it great fun trying to figure out the problem. Never did manage to track anything specific down so I did a clean install of windows as I figured that might be the problem given most (not all) of the failure codes seemed like they were related to windows. Chipset drivers I kept up to date, regularly checking AMD's site. By the middle of December I was getting really frustrated with system stability and had tried a few things to check one of the components in my system wasn't causing the problem, luckily I had a spare GPU and a mate lent me the ram from a stable 2700x/B450 system but nothing made a difference, I even tried reinstalling windows on a sata ssd and mechanical HDD in case the M.2 ssd was faulty. I kept going, trying a lot of different bios settings suggested by other people with similar problems and using the RAM calculator but nothing worked and I still had endless BSoD's every half hour or so for seemingly random reasons each time. When asrock finally released the B450 bios with AGESA 1.0.0.4 I thought the solution had arrived and I flashed the bios successfully, rebooted and found I now couldn't get as far as the windows login screen without the system crashing, BSoD, reboot and repeat even with a clean windows install. I'd had enough of this crap by now and after speaking to the retailer they let me RMA the mobo which was returned after testing with no problems found, followed by the cpu which was also tested and found to be fully functional. The mobo was tested with a 2600x and the cpu on an X570 mobo. At this point I was left with a cpu and mobo that it seemed were now somehow incompatible with each other at least as far as windows is concerned. I've been a windows user since ms-dos, I've always really enjoyed troubleshooting in spite of how frustrating it could be but with final Latin exams pressing I really needed a stable system right away so I felt that I was left with only a few options, especially considering my budget. I could sell the asrock B450 and get one of the cheaper X570 boards ending up another £100 down or I could sell the CPU and get a 2700x, breaking even financially. Both these options still left me with a system way more powerful than the old i5 but the downside to me was that I wasn't having the best experience returning to Team Red since my Athlon 64 X2 and there was no guarantee that either of these solutions would work. After a month back on the old Sandybridge I was still deciding what to do when I got an email offering an i5 9400f with an Asus Z390-P for £220 and that swung it for me. I've got a stable system that stays frosty never reaching above 55c and I've sold the 3600 for a slight loss, the mobo is now in a friends 2700x system working fine so overall I just about broke even on the deal. I've got no idea what caused this nightmare experience with Ryzen but I won't be buying Asrock ever again - a smaller company I know but truly awful bios support for anything but their top end boards.

Planning a mini ITX build and I’m going to use a Ryzen 3600 and NVIDIA 2060 Super. I cannot decide between the Asus, gigabyte pro wifi, MSI, or ASROCK board. Luckily all are the same (relatively) priced on Newegg, so price to performance isn’t an issue. Just looking for the best option.

Just ordered the Asrock x570 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard to go with the new Ryzen 5 3600 I bought. Also got a Samsung 970 evo plus. All of the other hardware in my rig is not new, and has been working for over a year. After installing windows smoothly, I can only get about 10-15 minutes of use before the system freezes. I can be either idling or running multiple tasks and always by ~15 minutes it freezes. I have tried one stick of my HyperX fury RAM in each slot on the motherboard, and the problem persists. I've messed around with the XMP profile (as best I know) and get no different results. I'm not sure if this seems like more of a motherboard issue or CPU issue. The system runs perfectly fine until it freezes. I even updated the BIOS to v2.0 and still have the issue. Any help or recommendations?

Asrock x570 phantom gaming 4 Ryzen 7 3700x 2x8gb gskill 2400mhz ripjaws Gtx 1060 3gb EVGA EVGA supernova 750 g2 And a 1tb Seagate HDD As seems to be a problem with these boards I can not get either the MB or the GPU to output either a bios screen or just boot straight into windows 10. I had to swap out the CPU and MB due to an electrical surge which rekt my gigabyte mb and my core i5-6500k, I have replaced only these two components and have not been able to get a display out. I haven't reset the CMOS because I haven't been able to find the connectors you short to do so. Could the difference in MB's be a problem? Anyways thanks for any help!

I legit can't find any info about the PSC (Post Status Checker) lights for the Asrock mobos from the Asrock site. I've used their search features and several posts show up regarding the same problem as me. With this issue, most people have a power issue, CPU issue, or mobo is dead. Heres the catch, I have booted on an MSI x570 gaming plus with this CPU and power supply (TLDR; MSI x570 was defective and got RMA'd and there wasnt a replacement so I was refunded and got an Asrock. RAM I have now is QVL checked against the Asrock mobo and is good by them). So my thoughts are that the mobo is bad. However, what would be the chances of getting 2 mobos that are both defective back to back? My power supply is from an old build (like 8 years ago old). I figured that it would be good to still use. I reset the CPU and it's still not working. I'm thinking about getting a new PS since mines old. I've already tried reseating the RAM, using 1 sitck at a time in all port while clearing CMOS between tests. I've triple checked my PSU connections are plugged in and proper (IE PCIe wasnt going to mobo 8 pin). I let the boot -> 10s CPU/DRAM lit -> reboot cycle happen for ~ 20 minutes and still no dice - I read somewhere that Ryzen can take upto 3 reboot cycles to post. I'm running out of ideas for troubleshooting stuff and I'm coming to you guys to see if theres something I'm missing. Edit: Guess PC part picker didn't update when I went from the MSI gaming plus to Asrock Pro4 (RMA issue with newegg). I updated the list. Note, that ram is wrong, but I still have 16 GB at MHz that is verified to be good with Asrock via their QVL. EDIT 2: I bought a new psu thinking my old one was bad. I hooked it up and still LEDs were lit. I tried one stick of ram cycling through the slots and clearing cmos again, and got it to boot. I swapped out the new psu with the old one and it still booted. Did a clean install of windows and things were a success! Went to install the other stick of ram and check the bios, no dice. Tried reseating it again and went into the bios and it showed up. Moral of the story, this Mobo has really finicky ram slots but I got things working.

Hello, yesterday i updated to the latest version of Adrock polycrhome rgb software. The program also updated the firmware for rgb lightning. All the settings remain the same, but the lights of the motherboard (Ascrock x470 Master sli, bios 1.90) don't turn off !! Even when the pc is off (it also happens when the pc is in sleep). I searched all the bios for a settings but i didn't find anything. I don't have the previous version of polychrome software and i don't even remember the version of that. Also, i haven't pluged any rgb led strip, only the onboard chipset light. The picture shows the current version. What should i do? Should i update the bios? I want to do it when the 1.0.0.4 get released for my mobo (which brings many good things, but is not out yet for that mobo). Should i contact asrock? Thanks in advance for your time and help ! ?

Hi. I recently bought a B450m Steel Legend along with an R5 3600. I’ve never experienced RGB stuff and I haven’t add anything RGB at all to the case. But I saw on Asrock’s product page that the motherboard supports its Polychrome RGB syncing stuff, so I downloaded the software. I played around and noticed that I can’t set a single colour to the onboard RGBs. I can choose white but it will still stack up or mesh with other colours like red, blue, yellow etc. Is there anyway to workaround this using a third-party software or is it just not possible? Also I can’t choose individually for the ID Cover and the PCH Heatsink. Is it not supported for this particular motherboard? Thank you all in advance.

As the title states just upgraded pc from this: Intel i7 3770k Asrock z77 extreme 6 Corsair H100i AIO 16 GB x4 DIMMs Gskill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM Samsung 850 evo 500GB SATA III SSD Seasonic 850W 80+ Gold PSU To This: Ryzen 7 3700X Asrock x370 killer sli/ac atx am4 Stock AMD Prism Cooler 16 GB x2 DIMMs Team Group T-force DDR4-3000 RGB (Kept storage and PSU) I've tried: reseating just about every part in the PC unplugging the graphics card and trying to post with the onboard clearing the cmos by unplugging the battery and using the onboard jumper using one stick of ram in various slots Everything seems to have power though but just can't get the thing to post as it turns on for about 10 seconds and infinitely reboots itself until I cut the power. I understand in order to get 3rd gen ryzen to work with this mobo i need to flash i bios update which I have on a flash drive ready to go, however I don't see how I am supposed to do this if I can't get into the bios at all.

Hello i'm having problem with games crashing and same for benchmarks like 3dmark (time spy) and an FFXV one. When I got the rig my friend told me it would give a blue screen of death of "video scheduler internal error". I have gotten it a few times. And a few times without even running a game (didn't save the logs). I have only tried the benchmarks and no games. My friend was the one who tried with the games. ASRock x470 Fatality gaming k4 motherboard Ryzen 5 2600X GTX 1660 OC 6GB Gigabyte 16 GB of 2x8 G.Skill ram power CX750M Cooler Master CP fan I have updated everything on the motherboard (bios) plus windows. I have tried a RTX 2070 card same problem (new install of windows also) . I have also tried GTX 1660 in my other PC without any problems. I have tried ram test all was fine. I also tried 1x16 GB ram card from my PC into his, still no good. Tried using a 600 power from my rig still no good. Even replace the motherboard with the same module still no good. Have tried default settings on the bios only as I don't know what I'm doing in there. I tried to do a "clean boot" by turning everything off. Still didn't help. I tried changing paging file down to 0 still didn't help Tried changing PCIe slot still didn't help Only thing i haven't tried to replace yet is the CPU the CPU Fan and the SSD *samsung program said its working fine though" Same time though they shouldn't be giving me this odd problem. IF you can think of anything else i can try let me know and thank you all for any help you can give. 3dmark errrors (there is a few other ones but this looks like it would be of more help) Fault bucket LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Unknown, type 0 Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Response: Not available Cab Id: 06945da2-b83b-4ade-b3ea-dc34a522c6cb Problem signature: P1: 141 P2: ffffdf8b7ce3e010 P3: fffff8018292a998 P4: 0 P5: 20d0 P6: 10_0_18363 P7: 0_0 P8: 768_1 P9: P10: Fault bucket 1777661599737297248, type 4 Event Name: APPCRASH Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: SystemInfoHelper.exe P2: 0.0.0.0 P3: 5de8c5f8 P4: SystemInfoHelper.exe P5: 0.0.0.0 P6: 5de8c5f8 P7: c0000005 P8: 0000000000002dcb P9: P10: Faulting application name: SystemInfoHelper.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5de8c5f8 Faulting module name: SystemInfoHelper.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5de8c5f8 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000000002dcb Faulting process id: 0x15cc Faulting application start time: 0x01d5c36409b29545 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\3DMark\bin\x64\SystemInfoHelper.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\3DMark\bin\x64\SystemInfoHelper.exe Report Id: 9e80071d-fbd7-40c3-b129-897aa6a7fc07 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Fault bucket LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Unknown, type 0 Event Name: LiveKernelEvent Response: Not available Cab Id: 2c6b8012-8d48-4386-aa5a-d39c85a66be0 Problem signature: P1: 141 P2: ffffdf8b82a5d2c0 P3: fffff8018292a998 P4: 0 P5: 4 P6: 10_0_18363 P7: 0_0 P8: 768_1 P9: P10: FFXV Faulting application name: ffxv.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5c8731a8 Faulting module name: ffxv.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5c8731a8 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000002c22b44 Faulting process id: 0x1e00 Faulting application start time: 0x01d5c3bdf70d6f96 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XV BENCHMARK\ffxv.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XV BENCHMARK\ffxv.exe Report Id: 4fc0c661-58e5-424c-ad52-b74a32c7b32f Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID:

Hi! I'm fairly new to building PC's and I recently put together a budget build. The build is a ASRock B450M PRO4 motherboard, AMD Athlong 200ge CPU, AMD Radeon RX560 GPU, 16Gbs of Corsair Vengance DDR4 Ram and a EVGA 500W power supply. I've been using this rig to run games such as apex legends, league of legends, COD Modern Warfare. The games can be pretty laggy as the frame rates drop pretty low. My question is, is the CPU holding back my GPU? I've been looking at upgrading the CPU in hopes of a smoother gaming experience. I do however run every game at the lowest setting possible to get the best out of what I have. Any input from someone who knows more about this topic would be ver appreciated!!

So I have an ASRock X370 Taichi motherboard. I am wandering if there is any way I can get the ASRock Polychrome software to run correctly on my motherboard, because the old RGB software (ASRock RGB) is not that appeasing and boring to use. Any advice?

Computer shuts off about 1 minute after booting windows
xenosaga01 posted a topic in Troubleshooting
#1 Hoping you smart people can help me out, I helped a friend build a custom desktop. He picked the components, I helped him assemble and install OS and updates. The System has the following components: nzxt case asrock z270 killer sli/ac Intel core i5-6700K @3.8ghz stock 4.2 turbo Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo cpu cooler Corsair dominator DDR4 2x4gb 2133mhz ram Thermaltake Smart 700Watt 80+ white certified PSU Kingston a400 128gb 2.5” ssd(boot drive) Western digital 1tb 3.5” hdd(storage drive) It has a zotac GeForce gtx 1050ti 4gb It’s running Windows 10 Home 64bit. This system ran perfectly fine for 2 years, no crashes at all. Thermals were perfect. 35-40celsius at idle and 65-70celsius during hard gaming or high load. His system had a blue screen while playing Rust and right before it happened he noticed his ram was almost all being used. So he bought new ram. He chose Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2x8GB DDR4-3600 ram which is compatible with his motherboard. He installed it himself and upon looking at CPU-Z determined that the ram was still running at 2133MHZ. I came over to help him get the ram running at full speed and was able to achieve that by setting the XMP 2.0 profile and changing it from auto to 3600. It worked fine for 2 days and then he started having really slow boot times and then shortly after loading the desktop the computer powers off. pretty much every day since I’ve been trying to help him, his computer has gotten worse and to the point that when it attempts to load into Windows, after about 1-2 minutes, the system fully shuts off(no warning or blue screen at all) then reboots in about 15 seconds automatically. I reset the motherboard to defaults and the ram back to 2133MHZ and no change. We even tested the ram with memtest86 and it passed all the passes with no errors. We also removed the new ram and put the old ram back in. No change. The computer still cuts out about a minute after loading windows. No errors or blue screens, it’s as if the power switch is switched off. I’m guessing at this point it’s either power supply or motherboard and leaning closer to Power supply. Another thing I noticed is that the CPU voltage was fluctuating right before the system turns off. It was ranging from 0.808v-1.2v. All temps normal. the motherboard has no logs and we can’t boot long enough to see if there are any eventviewer logs but I’m guessing since there are no blue screens that’s it’s more a hardware issue. Please offer me any advice or confirm if my assumptions are correct. My friend has ordered a new PSU to try to see if it is in fact the PSU causing the issue. I don’t think there is any way to test the motherboard. -
Build specs: CPU: 1800x Mobo: ASRock Gaming K4 x370 GPU: 5700xt + Fury X Power supply: Corsair hx 1050 Memory: 48 GB, (two different brands/capacities, I've tried with either brand on it's own and no dice.) I bought a 5700 xt and am trying to use it with my old Fury X. Rig is for photogrammetry and some gaming so I need the XT in the first slot. If the Fury X is in the second slot, it does not boot with error code 0d. I don't see a way to select default gpu with this board. What does work: Fury X in slot 1, 5700 in slot 2. Not good for gaming, but both work. Either card on it's own, in either slot. Sometimes when fiddling/reseating things, it does boot, but Fury X is not in device manager and the fan/pump does a weird revving thing, where it seems like it's not getting enough power/loose connection. 5700 XT in first slot, and either a RX 570 or a 280 in second slot. What I've tried: Resetting the bios(with battery removal and jumper) Updating the bios through the bios, it's already on latest. Using only one of my 2 brands of ram at one time, also changing slot configurations. Swapping from main to extra pcie cables on either card. Cleaned slot connector on fury x and sprayed air into pcie slot. Is this a pcie issue? Do I need to upgrade something?

Hello, I've got a seriously complicated issue and I can't solve it myself, so some advise on what to do now would be awesome. Aight, so about a month ago I build my first PC. However, when I got in the bios the first time I noticed that my ram was running at 2133 MHz instead of the advertised 3200 MHz. I selected an XMP setting that put it at 1.35V and 3200Mhz. I tried to restart the computer but it crached. I tried lowering it untill I got it to boot. that was at 2733 Mhz I think. Problem was that I regulary got BoDs or just no input on my monitor, also when this happened, my fans would start spinning like crazy. Eventually I realised that the only way to prevent these crashes was to set my RAM back at 2133MHz, which really sucks. I am getting the feeling that this issue comes from my motherboard. i have a -Asrock b450m steel legend -2x8 Gb Geil Super luce RGB ram 3200 -ryzen 5 2600x -AMD radeon rx 590 If anyone has any idea please let me know, thanks! PS: I have tried overclocking the ram to a higher clock speed than 3200, but so far no good.

Office PC Im running an Arock A320M Pro4 unfortunetly my old M.2 drive in it died. So I purchased the Western Digital M.2 2280 to replace it but its not being picked up by Windows Setup (or on the bios). Is there a compatability issue I have missed? It cant be drivers? as not showing up in bios. Bios version im on bios 6.00, cant do 6.10 as CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 2406. Which is raven, i think?. My old M.2 died. Perhaps its fried the M.2 socket somehow. Would love some help, as I am at a loss.

Hi everyone! This is my first post but I've been lurking for a while. I am currently trying to upgrade my GPU but it's proving to be a real PITA. Current Specs: MB: ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3 motherboard CPU: Intel i5 2500k (OC'd to 4.4) RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaw 2x8GB @ 1600 (3 months old, previously had 2x4gb) GPU: EVGA GTX 560 1GB PSU: Corsair HX750 Professional 750W Cooler Master MA410P (2 months old, replaced when Arctic Freezer7 Pro fan quit) Rosewill Blackhawk Will be running native 1440p resolution on Lg 27GL850-B. I just got a great deal on a Gigabyte RTX 2070 8GB on Newegg for $399. (Link here) Anyway, I put in the new card and when booting is just stopped at the MB splash screen with a code 62. "Error code 62: Installation of the South Bridge Runtime Services" I check the GPU and the fans spool up perfectly at start. Reinstalled the GTX 560 and I have no issues. I have searched for hours all about updating my BIOS and this motherboard is one heck of a headache when you update so I'm trying not to if at all possible, but I don't even know if that's relevant. I have seen benchmarks ran with my MB and this GPU so I know it's compatible some way or another. I do realize I have a 2nd Gen i5 and they don't support PCIE3, but it just runs as a PCIE2 and causes no issues. Any idea whats going on here? I use the computer daily for work as I am a graphic designer and web builder. I really can't risk bricking this thing with a failed BIOS flash. I'm really bummed because the 12th was my birthday and for once I bought myself something nice. I did tons or research before ordering these pieces and have been stocked to revamp the setup. Even bought new games to play (Outer Worlds, CoD)! Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

I know it's quite long ago since core unlocking is a hype, but I just manage to have a board support UCC and got a unlockable Athlon ll at a good price. I determined to try out but stuck in a weird situation. Here is my setup Athlon ll x4 640 (E0 Rev. , with seriel number ADX640WFK42GR) Asrock 770iCafe (support 140w cpu, Asrock UCC, bios r2.0 latest) 8g DDR3 1333 AcBel 610W Gold rated PSU OS: win10 Scenario 1: all default, POST, boot to windows Scenario 2: activared seperated core control →core not unlocked, POST and boot to windows Scenario 3: activated accurated core clock→POST, core unlocked, not boot into windows 3-1 decrease core clock→nope 3-2 deactivated 2 cores→nope Sdt everything to default then it's back to scenario 1 again Weird thing is others seems to have a dedicated UCC bottom while I don't, anyway my guess about the problem are either 1. Some micro adjustment needed to be done in bios such as adding voltage 2. Windows os has problem with sudden hardware change(BTW, I tried both 7 & 10) I tried to be as detail as possible, hoping for a undisputable result even if the attempt turn out to be a loss. Best regards for everyone

Hi everyone. I'm having some problems with my memory. All 32Gb are recognized. (4x8) In the UEFI and CPU-Z the memory is only shown as single channel, although 4 Sticks are installed. CPU-Z under "SPD" shows me Information for all the Sticks except for the last one. See screenshot attached. System Specs: Asrock X399 Professional Gaming AMD 1950X Threadripper G-SKill Trident Z 4x 8 GB DDR4 Quad-Channel Kit 3600Mbhz The System is running okayish. With heavy CPU work like 3D rendering etc i have not encoutered any problems. Photoshop on the other hand is acting weird. It won't open some files because of some RAM error. Other files are read without any problem... What i have tried so far: Switching the memory around. Testing for dual-channel (did not work) - still single channel Testing on A1,B1,C1,D1 instead of A2,B2,C2,D2 Loosening the screws a bit since i heard the CPU might be squeezed too tightly Reseated the CPU All without any difference. Any ideas? Thanks!

Help please! Please help me solve this weird boot issue! I just build the following rig: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QxXFPn The first time it booted into UEFI just fine. The only setting I changed within the UEFI was to enable XMP. After that, my motherboard beeps, but does not boot into UEFI when I hit the proper key, I am only met with a blank grey screen. The weird thing is, I was able to install Windows just fine, and I can boot to it without a problem, it’s only UEFI. I have not updated any drivers, just done the bare minimum of setting up Windows and downloading Chrome. I tried to reset CMOS both by shorting the pins AND removing the battery, no luck. However, did notice that when I try to boot to BIOS, both the VGA and BOOT LEDs are lit, indicating dysfunction. I then tried to reseat my Graphics Card. I also installed the NVIDIA Game-Ready drivers. Now my screen flickers on boot and the Asrock logo doesn’t even appear. It just goes straight to Windows. I tried mashing F2 on boot to no avail. Same grey screen.
