Hello friends. I have an X670E Steel Legend motherboard. Yesterday I updated my BIOS from 1.09 to 1.26 AS01 [Beta]. And my ram is Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6000MHz C36. I adjusted the ram speed from 4800mhz to 6000mhz in BIOS. But when I check my ram speed in task manager, its says 4800mhz? It wasn't like this before the BIOS update. Anyone know's what's going on?

Currently: Asrock x370 Taichi, newest BIOS Ryzen 5800X 2x8GB CL14 3200 RAM Since the newer Zen chips have a far better memory controller nowadays, what do you think the likelihood is that I can get 2x32GB CL16 3200 RAM working on this motherboard? QVL's worthless since they haven't updated the memory QVL for some time. I already bought some Mushkin Redline 3200, a 2x32GB kit with 16-18-18-38 timings, but I'm curious if anyone else already knows if this has a chance at working or not.

Hi, Just purchased an ASRock X680E PG Lightning, along with new CPU and RAM (details included below). After physical installation of everything into the case, gave it a quick test and it refuses to finish booting. It seems to POST ok. The 4 debug LEDs on the mobo cycle relatively quickly (which is to be expected, according to the manual) then all 4 go off (also expected, per the manual) and the monitor displays the ASRock logo, but it never actually boots or gives me the option to enter BIOS. I've tried pressing F2 and/or Del, but it just goes to a mostly blank page with a handful of characters in the top left. I've seen a few variations, but I think the last one was simply: ^[[[B I have tried downloading the latest BIOS from ASRock's website and using the flashback feature. Everything appeared to work as intended, the green light blinked for a few minutes and then went out entirely, which is expected behavior, according to their website. But no change in the boot process. I have also tried clearing CMOS, both with and without the battery installed. Still no change. I've also tried booting with only one stick of RAM, still no change. And last, but not least, I've tried booting without my GPU, using only the onboard graphics. You guessed it, still no change. I've reached out to ASRock tech support. No reply, although it hasn't been very long yet. Just thought I'd see if anyone here has any insight while I'm waiting. Thanks, folks! I just bought a new ASROCK X470D4U MOBO. After i installed all the necesary components to boot i turn on and always reboots when the OS is initializing. I dont have any problem by booting on the BIOS, also all my hardware shows up correctly. Im using: - X470D4U motherboard (i think its the issue) - AMD Ryzen 7 5700G - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600 (I dont think its the issue, also tried other ram and its the same problem) - PSU 600W - GeForce GT 1030 Tried to boot by a usb drive. Didnt work Tried to swap the RAM in to a low profile one. Didnt work Updated the BIOS and the BMC to the latest (Alredy checked that BIOS version supports my Processor) Tried without GPU after hearing 5 beep on MOBO (the system couldn't recognize the graphics). Didnt boot to the OS. Tried restoring configuration of the MOBO to default by removing the battery 30 minutes. Didnt work After removing de gpu i keep getting the 5 beeps. This is the sequence of "errors" that my MOBO shows after i tried to install a new OS or tried to boot a OS. WhatsApp Video 2023-06-25 at 9.25.07 PM.mp4

Hello guys, i’m new to the forum and i hope to be posting in the right place. Yesterday my uncle brought me a old pc with a pentium d 945 (overclocked now to 4GHz), 4gb ddr3 ram, 450w trash psu and a gt 315. i had a p106-90 around and i inserted it in the pc but with that card i get completely no post. i already set the primary gpu as the integrated but i can’t get it to work. Voltage i good as i read 11.98v in the back of the 6-pin connector. maybe the mobo is too outdated or am i missing something? i’ve seen a mobo with the same chipset working with a rx580 so it’s strange that mine isn’t working. Pci bus clock is set at 100mhz. PS: gpu works fine in another system. Thanks

My PC specs are CPU: Ryzen 5600g MoBo: ASRock B550M-ITX AC GPU: Zotac RTX 2060 6GB Storage: 240GB Inland Pro SSD, 500GB Samsung 980, 750GB HDD, 500GB HDD Software: Windows 11 I initial started with the 240GB SSD and so it is my Boot Drive and it's about to be my 2nd year with this PC. It's been acting up recently, it takes forever to get past the BIOS point to get to windows. Games also haven't been wanting to run, such as Escape From Tarkov and War Thunder. I don't think it is an SSD issue as it has been working fine and even in other machines it works normally.

I purchased a Logitech Pro X wireless which has a USB dac to connect wirelessly and noticed pretty bad popping and crack coming from it when playing audio. I tried reseting the headset, the dac, updating drivers reinstalling G hub, disabling spread spectrum in bios. I also removed all other usb devices and disabled the Bluetooth and wifi chip to see if they were interferening, tried all usb ports as well, same result. I tested it on my steam deck and it worked perfectly fine so I know it's the pc but headphones connected via onboard Bluetooth or aux does not have this issue so I'm assuming it's the usb. I even tried a usb extension cable to distance it away from the pc. I'm pretty stumped as what to do, asrock support is useless they just said to ask the vendor I purchased it from like they would know. I feel like it's to do with power delivery or something but I have zero clue. I have included 2 audio files of a sound test that shows the difference, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. I've been working on a new build and I cannot for the life of me get the thing to POST with more than one DIMM installed. With only one memory stick in the rightmost slot I can pretty much always get into the BIOS and can get into Windows 10 as well, but trying any other slot or any combination of 2 or more DIMMs the board gets hung up on a DRAM issue evident by the status LED. So far I have tried: Lexar Hades RGB 3600MHz-CL18 2x8GB (two separate kits, tried all 4 DIMMs) Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000MHz-CL15 4x8GB (all 4 DIMMS, even got the kit RMA'd because 2 DIMMS wouldn't POST at all) Timetec Pinnacle Konduit 3200MHz-CL16 2x16GB (tried both DIMMs) I have reset the CMOS countless times now and just now disassembled the build to examine the CPU socket revealing zero bent pins, which I was hoping would be the issue as it's the only thing that I think would cause this issue. Build Specs are as follows: Intel Core i5-12400F Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black ASRock B760M Pro RS/D4 Intel 670p 1TB Gen3 M.2 SSD EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 EVGA 700GD 700W 80+ Gold rated PSU Antec Dark Cube Inverted mATX Chassis

This is my first time building a PC and I finished installing all the parts yesterday. The problems started with a couple of case fans not working which was fixed almost immediately after resetting the CMOS battery. I moved on to try to boot the PC with my monitor which did not work. The fans and the RGB would be working but the monitor received no signal. Upon checking the debug LEDs, I found that both the CPU light and the DRAM light would light up as soon as I opened my PC but the CPU LED would quickly disappear leaving the DRAM LED on. I tried cleaning the DRAM, clearing the CMOS, swapping places, and trying on one at a time but none of it would fix this issue. Here's my build: -Intel i5 12400F -Asrock Arc A750 -Asrock B660 pro RS -AZZA 850w 80+ gold -WD green 1TB -Corsair Vengence RGB PRO 2x 16GB

I've been dealing with a very frustrating issue for months now. Applying any bios setting and restarting makes it not post anymore. It gets stuck on the DRAM+CPU debug LEDs. However clearing CMOS and booting without ever entering bios will post just fine into the OS and everything works as it should. At first I thought it would probably be the issue with the AMD AGESA update everyone was talking about so I decided to wait out the bios updates, but now that the updated bioses (in my case 1.18.AS03) are out I can confidently say: my problem persists :( It seems to be independent of bios versions as well no amount of down or upgrading the bios will change anything. I tried every bios version on the driver and support page for this motherboard. It used to work fine before. Never did any overclocking or anything in the bios out of the ordinary. Its not the first time I had issues with this build, see my other thread for more info on that. Is the mobo toast? cpu defective? - I have no idea where even to start. Does anyone know whats going on? My system: - Asrock B650E PG Riptide WiFi (new) - AMD Ryzen 7600x (new) - 2x Crucial DIMM 16GB, DDR5-4800 - NH-D15 (from previous build, known good and working) - Seasonic Prime TX-750 750W PSU (from previous build, known good and working) - GTX 770 (from pevious build)

I have been using this AM5 build since December and all the sudden this morning it stopped fully POSTing. It now gets stuck with both the DRAM and CPU LEDs illuminated solidly at the same time for the entire duration that it is left powered after turning it on. I have already: gotten a new power supply (the one listed in the parts list), updated the bios to the latest one listed on their website by using BIOS flashback, cleared CMOS many times using both the jumper and removing the battery completely, tried booting with only one ram module in the last slot and in many other configurations, unplugged everything except ATX mobo power and cpu power (so even panel headers). I'm not sure what else to do at this point, it seems likely that it is the cpu considering bios flashback seemed to work but I haven't yet found someone nearby with an AM5 system to test against. build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/klamptramp/saved/cTWVFT mobo manual: https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B650 Pro RS.pdf bios flashback instructions: https://www.asrock.com/support/QA/FlashbackSOP.pdf

Sent in my 6900xt that was bad out of the box for rma a few weeks ago. Micro center wouldn’t change it for the same card unless I paid the $300 more dollars they increased the price too. Any thoughts on how long I’m going to need to wait since cards are hard to come by right now? I don’t have any extra cards for temporary use. I think they received it 3 weeks ago now and no update and no response to my emails.

Hello. This is my first time i'm here. I just got DeepCool Gammaxx 400 v2 for my PC and Arctic Cooling MX4 2 days ago. After I installed the cooler, my CPU temperature reached 38 - 50 degrees Celsius when idle / load at 1300 RPM (I used ASRock Fan-Tastic Tuning). Is it normal or not? Sorry for my bad English. Thank You.

Hi, I recently bought a new motherboard (Asrock b365m) and my front and rear audio ports aren’t working. I’ve installed the latest drivers, checked if everything is plugged in correctly, booted linux mint to see if it’s not windows problem. I have no idea what to do next. Btw, my hdmi audio works but I need my mic for online classes.

I turn to you once again in a time of need. My computer wont start at all the power button does nothing. Kinda. When i went to turn on my pc this morning nothing happened. I've tried clearing the cmos and using the bios flashback on the motherboard. I've also tried with no ram and 1-4 sticks of ram. The only time it starts is when i click the clear cmos button which takes me straight into the bios. If i save changes and exit the power button does nothing again. Does anyone have any ideas? The model of the motherboard is the B550 taichi and my cpu is the 3600x Thanks in advance Edit: I've also tried a different PSU

Hi internet! I´m new in all of this so here we go! I had recently change my motherboard because the last one wasn´t good for overclocking, but I had a few problems with the RAM that, hopefully, are gone, but now I have another problem. I actually have sound in my monitor, and i doesn´t used it a lot but with the other motherboard worked that, if i unplugged the jack of the Razer Kraken the sound went to the monitor and vice versa. I tried a few things about changing the drivers and touching some settings of Realtek Audio Console, but for now nothing works. This is my build: -AsRock B450M Steel Legend -Ryzen 3 3200G 3,8Ghz -HyperX Predator RGB CL16 3200Mhz -Cooler Master Silencio S400 (HD Audio connector for one jack for mic and headphones and ALC892) -(In service) XFX RX580 8GB XXS I hope somebody can help me, or maybe give me a tip to get it work until there is an official solution

I have a Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 with BIOS P3.40, the CPU is a 2600x. Any users of this board here? I've noticed that the option "Internet Flash-DHCP" is missing, not present. I'm pretty sure it was there after my last bios update, or did the update remove it? Also, I don't have the North and South Bridge folders, I can't find the Cool 'n' Quiet setting that I see on the manual.
