Hii. I've noticed one of my MSI Optix G241 monitors has a screen issue. Sometimes tiny dot artifacts will take shape when something is open, upon minimizing or closing it goes away almost like it's a 'layer' issue. Does anyone know if there's a similar website or program to Jscreenfix that can run on the entire monitor and not just a tiny section? Or if this is just as simple as getting a new dp? Thank you.

I was using my old laptop as a source for my tv when it randomly shut down, when tried restarting it went to the windows loading screen and just kept loading till the spinny icon disappeared then just stayed there with the windows logo, I shut it down and restarted, that time I got a boot OS selection menu(I have only windows) after which it showed the windows logo then BSOD with artifacts (pic attached) Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15r 5537 I7 4500u Radeon hd8670m 8gb ram 240gb ssd The GPU seemed to be already failing for a while cuz I would get artifacts in some games I had gotten bsod before(same error code) but it would just restart and be fine P.s. the white stripe on the left is cuz my screen is broken at that side

I am trying to install proxmox and after press install GUI interface it loads and tries to detect the USB. I had failures without before which fixed with using a USB without ventoy on it. But now get this issue with multiple USBs and multiple times retrying on different slots where after it detects it'll start to install and then do this. With terminal Ul it happens at the same time but it's a different artifact. I am using a old quadro GPU but it is worked fine with everything else on other OSs no problem.

My MSI GF63 with i7 8750h and gtx 1050m has be running with this issue for the last 5 year, i've used other power brick, like the original 120w and even my lower 65w but still the same issue as the title said, it never had any problem without pluggin in to the power source, but as soon is i connect to power source it starts giving artifact, freezing and giving nvlddmkm.sys error on event viewer. the temp while not plugged in is 75, when plugged in it cant reach over 70 before crashing or bluescreen Does this mean my gpu is broken towards higher wattage? or could it be vram or something's problem altogether? is there any way to force gpu to work on battery and not change power source when plugged in? Or unlock power management? (in afterburner changing power is locked and greyed out )

So for a little while I have been having issues with my PC, hoping they would be fixed by a GPU driver update, but they haven't disappeared. Sometimes while I'm using an app or something my PC will start showing artifacts all over the screen, or it will go black for half a second and then come back on with buttons gone, forcing me to have to hover over everything to see it all again. Every once in a while when my PC attempts to fall asleep after idling for a few minutes it spits out a "No VGA detected" beep code and then the display wont wake even though fans are still spinning and whatnot, forcing me to force reboot in order to use it again. I don't know what to do now. Here's my specs: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5500 Mobo - ASRock B450M Steel Legend RAM - OLOy DDR4 2x8GB 3000MHz GPU - Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 6600 SSD - HP S700 1TB SATA PSU - EVGA 650 N1 OS - Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Monitor - LG Ultragear 24GN60R-B All drivers & software are up to date, all cables have been checked and work perfectly fine. Any and all help is appreciated

Hi. I need some help with the video on NES. When I run games on my European NES I constantly get the teeth/stairs effect where lines are shifted to the right one after another and then after several shifts get back to the original position. I connect it through NES-RGB and OSSC. I tried to connect another NES through OSSC and it worked OK there, so the issue is not with OSSC but with NES. Any idea what the problem could be? I tried several cartridges and get the same result. I am attaching a screenshot that I took with the phone. In addition to that, when I was trying to run Blaster Master cartridge, I got flashing background in the game. I am not sure if this is related or not. Where do I start with troubleshooting the problem? Thanks!

While playing skyrim heavily modded game my gpu was overheating (then i downclocked the gpu for stable temps) immediately upon reducing clocks to 1230/1830 mhz my monitor started showing pink black green small artifacting horizontal lines. Upon seeing it i hit restart all lines went away. Then i played skyrim for another hour no problem whatsoever. N.B : lines appeared only on windows. On bios screen, everything was normal. My gpu is 2nd hand 1.5 years used. Never repasted nor cleaned nor oced. So are such artifacts indicating a dying amd card? Should i be worried????

gpu Games and GPU Benchmark crash immediatly after Start
Giandkosinus posted a topic in Graphics Cards
Greetings everybody, My Father recently got himself a new GPU, he went from an AMD HD 7870 ! to a RTX 3060. At first everything was working fine, until a few days ago. After a windows update (win 10) he noticed that his game (Farming Simulator 22) started to crash after loading into a Safegame. At first I thougt it was the Update, so I uninstalled it. But the problem remained. Then I took the PC to my place and started with finding out whats wrong. What i have already tried: I Uninstalled the update, updated the GPU driver, Reinstalled all win updates. - Nothing changed maybe it got worse? Checked Windows Integrity (sfc /scannow), ran Memory diagnostic, checked CPU-Z etc. - I am confident windows is not at fault After that I nuked the driver with Display Driver Uninstaller and reinstalled it. The problem still remains. I also ran FurMark which crashes about 1-2 seconds after starting the benchmark. During the crash of game or benchmark i get weird artifacts on the screen. Sometimes Windows does not recover and the PC automaticly reboots. PC specs: Ryzen 7 3700x MSI B550 Gaming Carbon WiFi 16GB Kingston @ 2400Mhz ASUS RTX 3060 Thanks ahead and Happy Hollidays -Adrian -
I bought this gpu 2 days ago, seller was reliable, he ran 3d mark on gpu, everything was fine, so i bought it and came home with it. Plugged into pc, installed drivers, ran some games, everything was fine. Than i opened msi kombustor and run tests, but in the the tests i labeled with the red square ( not the furmark msi ) artifact scanner is f***d up as you can see in the images. What is interesting is that all 6 broken tests are open gl.The gpu is zotac gtx 950 single fan 2 gb. I dont know what to do, i'm frustrated from the problem, every help appreciated!!!

Hello everyone! I am fairly new to PC’s and I was wondering if someone had a similar problem with what I have going on right now. So I purchased an ABS prebuilt system (10700K, 3070 Strix). The computer was working perfectly fine for the first 6 months until I got small artifacts on the screen. I wasn’t sure what was happening, so I updated Windows, drivers and restarted the system. Everything was fine until it happened again. I have included files to show what is happening and I am unsure if it’s my GPU or could it be something else? I still have warranty so I can RMA, but I’ve never done that before so I’m not sure what to do. When I play games, everything is fine. I max out the settings and there is no sudden CTD or blue screens or anything of that sort. 3 times that these artifacts have occurred were during idle or when I was on a car website building a car. Full specifications I7-10700K RTX 3070 (strix) G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz (I added another two of the same RAM, the problem happened with just 2 sticks as well) 1 TB Intel 665P M.2 NVMe SSD ASUS Prime Z-490 P

Hello, So sadly yesterday my 1080 TI died, it's out of warranty so I bought what I could find, a 6600XT. I have never had a AMD GPU. For reference, specs: Ryzen 7 2700X 16 GB Ram X470 Crosshair Hero 7 850 Watt 80 plus gold PSU RX 6600 XT Custom water cooling for cpu Windows 11 64 bit At the time of building this system with the 1080 TI, it was a monster. I use a 1440p Acer Free Sync display 144 Hz Today after a long gaming session I noticed my GPU running slower and slower, also getting random hitching the entire time but otherwise over 60 FPS. In playing Halo Infinite, my fps was steadily dropping. Eventually when I was in between matches the screen slowly started to turn into what you see in the picture. It did something similar one other time. This was all with proper graphics drivers installed and I hadn't even done any overclocking yet. Resizable Bar is on. Any ideas as to what could be? I'm thinking a faulty card honestly or I just don't know AMD cards? Any and all help would be amazing!

i had some weird glitchy looking textures pop up on steam and on crunchyroll. When I turned hardware acceleration off in google chrome it stopped turned it back on it did it a again. Its not pc wide and only happens very rarely( Once in a blue moon ). When it happens I turn off pc and it doesn't come back ( Until the blue moon XD ). Is that artifacting or maybe some driver issues?? Sadly i have no screenshots to post.

Hello guys, Comming here to expose an issue I have been trying to troubleshoot since 2 week now, but I'm literraly out of ideas and stuck now. The build is from late june 2021 when I decided to build a little SFF workstation using the intel compute element 9, so I made a system with the following specs. Cooler Master NC100 case Cooler Master V650 SFX Intel NUC 9 Pro - NUC9VXQNB RTX TITAN 24GB Corsaire Vengeance (2x32) 64GB SODIMM 2666Mhz 18C WD Bleu SN550 2To NVMe (stockage drive) Samsung 980 PRO 1To MZ-V8P1T0BW (Boot/OS drive) Windows 10 Pro The bios is up to date at the latest version at the moment which is 0065. Here is the problem : I moved out from France to Canada and bring my SFF with me on the plane, for this oportunity I decided to buy a pelicase to store my computer safelly to avoid any damage during the transport, making sure everything was tight and nicely packaged for the flight 10 hours of flight later arriving at the hotel room I take all the gear out and install my setup, but when the screen turn on I see this weird line on the monitor ! So from there I started looking on the monitor side, but everything was fine as I also bring my laptop and tested with it directly, so monitor and cable was good, but in the doubt I tried on the TV that was on the room, and same deal, even with a different cable. But this time all pink and it take all the screen... So from there I tried booting on the internal graphics of the NUC, and here everything is fine ! So I guess the probleme is from my GPU then ? trying to look futher in the troobleshoot I cam across a problem that would not help me at all, later in the week I got my hand on a RTX4000 to try and replace the faulty RTX TITAN I have installed in the system, but I have the same problem, horizontal line all over the display again. So from there I decided to once again reinstall windows from scratch, bios, drivers, and nothing help, weird thing is the card is recognized in the the device manager as it should be, but there a warning sign and when displaying the properties it says error 43. Then there is a Serial port with a warning and diplays error 28, but nothing will help by either updating or re-installing driver. And it does this for both, and that make no sense to me as the artifact does not behave like a faulty gpu on the screen, because when I open a windows they go away on the windows area ! IMG_0140.mov And the list keeps going, after looking closely I noticed that my cursor is completly fine and not impacted by the line, proof ! It goes above the line and display perfectly well... O.O IMG_0140 (1).mov After all, I plugge both GPU in a friend system, and they do work perfectly fine. I then checked each pcie lan on the baseboard of the Coller Master NC100 that connect both NUC and GPU, going over each solder point with a beeper to spot a defective solder but everything is fine ?! So at this stage my only guess is either a software related issue maybe ? I don't have any idea on how I can fix this issue. I was wondering if this could be related to the power supply maybe ? but the input is rated to work on 110 and 220 so I don't think that will make any diference really. So if you guys think of a solution ill be happy to try every new proposition !

Hello guys, i purchased a new asus rx 6700 xt dual 3 months ago : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Graphics-Cards/Dual/DUAL-RX6700XT-12G/ And from the very beginning there were problems with her.Four things: 1.Blackscreening (monitor just flashing black for a moment,it happens very quickly). 2.Artifacts (Different types of cubes on my monitor or cubes on program's windows, not the entire workspace is covered by artifacts). 3.PC crashing (restarting, happend twice for 3 months). 4.Black coating? (some desktop windows turn black after blackscreening). But there is one peculiarity, these issues never showed up in tests or games... My PC specs: Ryzen 5 5600x Hyperx 16 gb ram 3600 in XMP samsung 1 tb ssd nvme gigabyte b550m aorus elite Deepcool 750w Smart Access Memory is on. Cpu temp from 40 - 70 maximum Gpu temp 48 - 70 Gpu hot spot 70 - 80 What work have i done: 1.Installed 21.3.1 driver from Asus website.(the same problems appeared) 2.Reinstalled 21.4.1 driver from AMD website (the same problems appeared) 3.Reinstalled 21.6.1 driver from AMD website.(the same problems appeared) 4.Reinstalled 21.8.1 driver from AMD website.(the same problems appeared) 5.Reinstalled 21.8.2 driver from AMD website.(the same problems appeared) 6.Installed Windows 10 LTSC (i could'nt install drivers on this windows,so i spent 30 minutes without any driver and blackscreening were present). 7.Installed official Windows 10 PRO. (the same problems appeared) 8.Tested videocard in Furmark,AIDA64,OCCT,AMD Software,3dmark (no problems). 9.Tested my RAM (turning off XMP,using memtests etc.) 10.Tested my Power Supply (just loaded the computer to the maximum power 100% CPU 100% GPU no problems with power supply) 11.Put the video card in another computer with another monitor.(i5 10400f,2666 ram,650 w.) (the same problems appeared) 12.Put another videocards in my computer.(i was on GTX 960 before i bought rx 6700 xt and i tried GTX 980 after this problems and there were no problems) 13.Changed main power cable to my power supply.(the same problems appeared) 14.Updated BIOS three times on three different versions.(the same problems appeared) 15.Turning off SMA.(the same problems appeared) 16.Changing monitor refresh rate 144 - 145 - 143 - 120.(the same problems appeared) 17.Turning ON/OFF the GPU resolution scaling on AMD software.(the same problems appeared) Turning ON/OFF AMD anti-lag and other settings...(the same problems appeared) Based on this, it becomes clear that something is wrong with the video card. I also provide a few facts: 1) These problems appear very rarely, it can be several (2-3) times a day and once every few days 2) Haven't seen artifacts, blackscreening or blackcoating in videogames or tests 3) Most of the time I spend in Apex Legends. There, at the test site, the video card quietly produces 250 - 300 FPS, but sometimes the computer starts to slow down and i got friezes and fps jumps 100-200 it lasts a few seconds and after everything becomes normal and fps again 250-300.The same thing happens during launch of the game, and even in menu i get FPS drops.Opening the task manager is even difficult, but it says CPU load is 100% in this times.I don't know if this is a problem with the rx 6700 xt, but it was'nt the case on other video cards. 4) I thought that I needed to record these problems on video. Since problems appear very rarely, recording the desktop on a permanent basis is simply impossible. So I thought I could use the "Instant Replay" feature in AMD software,i set it to 1 minute length. So after artifacts blackscreening etc just appeared i need to press keybinds.Believe it or not, after enabling this function, I could'nt find these problems!I can't be sure if this fixed the problem for sure or is it just a coincidence. 5) only Blackscreening can appear,i mean as only ONE problem at the moment.Or all problems at the same time too. 6) After blackscreening the monitor does not show that the signal has disappeared. 7) The whole image was output through the HDMI port of the video card with different HDMI cabels! So DPs are untested. 8) Sometimes blackscreening disappears from black cubes (look like artifacts but black) The sweetest thing is that I managed to record moments with problems on my phone! : What can be done?

I just turned on my PC like normally I do everyday, but when I'm dragging the window I saw something unusual. There is a white shadow behind everything, if i move something it will create a white shadow behind it. That shadow is very annoyed me when im playing games. I don't really know what the cause of this problem, so I reinstall the GPU driver and reset the monitor settings, but it doesn't fix it. Please check the video down below. I'm afraid that is an artifact so I need to replace GPU, I never saw somenthing like this before. GPU : Asrock Phantom Gaming X570 Monitor : Samsung LS24R350 1. Why that happens / what the cause? 2. What is that shadow thing called? 3. How do I fix it?

Got a musical electric screen here where I can't tell if the issue is that the screen has to be taken out and cleaned or this is a replacement kind of problem. Which is it? There SEEMS to be a big gap between the screen itself and the display window and the artifact is the on back of the display window rather then on the screen. Is this fixable by cleaning? What caused this? Glue coming undone? Fog? Any would would be appreciated.

Recently I bought a GTX 970. The exact model is zotac 970 amp extreme core. When I tested it, it had extremely high temps and it was thermal throttling. I thought that the high temperatures caused the artifacting. I opened up the GPU and it basically had zero thermal paste applied. I changed the thermal paste but the artifacts still persist. The artifacts appears whenever i shut down my pc and turn it on. When I restart it the artifacting doesn't appear. After being on for a while some artifacts appear like in the photo I attached, but disappear after a bit of time. The artifact after I turn on my pc look similar to the photo I attached, but instead of groups, the dots appear randomly and alone. The artifacting disappears after the windows lock screen. The artifacts don't appear without drivers. I am 100% sure it's the gpu's fault. The problem also happens on other computers with the 970 installed. Is there any way I could fix the gpu so it wouldn't artifact.

Hello, System details - i7-6820HK, GTX1070, 16GB ; no OC currently. [Laptop - Aorus X5-v6] Lately my system started randomly crashing when playing Rise of nations and League of legends.(10-15 mins in game) Some crashes are with artifacts and a hard reboot while others are just blank screens for some time and then automatic reboots. I know artifacts are caused mostly due to a faulty GPU, so in order to test that I ran benchmarks and stress tests to see if I can recreate the crashes. Surprisingly these ran without issues. I used FurMark, 3Dmark(Timespy Extreme, Firestrike Extreme, PCI express), GPUmemtest/OCCT memtest. Nvidia drivers Updated with clean install More surprising was the fact that I ran GTA 5 online for around 1-2 hrs. and it did not crash albeit the temps were around 89C(usual case for GTA5 for me). For normal use the system works without an issue, and I haven't had any crashes while using Hyperworks, Ansys, CAD softwares or MATLAB(but I haven't run any demanding stuff on them lately) I did not have the time to check if the problem is only with RoN or League, but I can try to test other games to see if they crash similarly as well. This thing has me completely baffled as to what might be causing these crashes. Please I would appreciate any insight in troubleshooting it. Let me know if you need any more details, Thank you.

Hello, I just bought a PC one year ago, but, after 6-7 months, I had this "inverse Ghosting"/"Corona artifacts" showing in every single case. When I move the cursor, for example, there's a white trail behind it and it's really annoying. Anyways my main suspect was the monitor and I just sent it to it's manufacturers and got motherboard replacement. I just find out that the same problem is still here so I tried everything and I find out that I still have this artifact with others monitors or cables. So I tried to use the monitor and the pc in a different outlet without success. I thought that the card would be the problem but trying with the Intel Integrated graphics I run into the same problem. The problem persists into the BIOS screen so I think that the OS is not causing the problem. I might think that the Motherboard is the problem because both PCIe and integrated have the same issue. This is really annoying and I'm desperate because I don't really know how to fix that. (I did never overclocked anything and I'm not using G-Sync) Here are the list of my components: CPU - i7-9700K GPU - MSI GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER VENTUS OC RAM - G.SKILL TRIDENT Z 16GB DDR4 C15 3200MHz RGB POWER SUPPLY - Seasonic Focus+ Gold 750W MOTHERBOARD - Asrock Z390 Extreme4 SSD - SAMSUNG MZ-76Q1T0 860 QVO 1TB HDD - WESTERN DIGITAL BLU 1TB, 7200RPM, SATA 6 GB/S, 64 MB CACHE, 3.5 AUDIO - CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER Z PCI-EXPRESS MONITOR - SAMSUNG C27RG50 CURVED 27" Here is something I tried to do to solve: Swapped Monitors Swapped cables Using different outlet Fresh install of Windows 10 Updating all drivers Updating BIOS Loading default BIOS settings Used DDU to uninstall drivers 611561710_20210129_1429083.mp4
