Okay so I started on a new build and I was wandering if all the components are funtional together. I don't have much money to blow but I'm willing to change a few things out. Note that I'm buying everything from amazon. Case: Zalman Z11 Midi Tower Case. I found this case really appealing and the fact that it came with 5 fans really swayed me over other cases. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-Z11-Supports-Installation-Filters/dp/B007BZS0GI/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004632&sr=1-2&keywords=zalman+z11 Motherboard: A Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard seemed like a good choice If I wanted to run duel sli in the future. http://www.amazon.co.uk/M5A97-R2-0-Motherboard-PCI-Express-Flashback/dp/B008V9959O/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004107&sr=1-2&keywords=asus+m5a97+r2.0+atx+am3%2B+motherboard CPU: The AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core seems to me the best cpu at this price range. http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-FX6300-Edition-4-1GHz-Socket/dp/B009O7YORK/ref=pd_cp_computers_0 GPU: EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Superclocked ACX 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card Orginally I was planning on getting the Gigabyte version of the GTX 760 with the windforce heatsink but I'm not too sure on wether that will fit into the case. http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Nvidia-GeForce-Superclocked-Graphics/dp/B00DMB6D8W/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004342&sr=1-2&keywords=gtx+760 RAM: I chose HyperX FURY Series 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz becuase it was cheeper that G-Skill and Corsairs varients. http://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-Series-1866MHz-Memory-Module/dp/B00J8E91T0/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1416004519&sr=1-2&keywords=hyper+x+ram PSU: For the power supply I was not too sure on what wattage I should be going for. So i saw the Sharkoon SHARK Blade fans the other day on Massdrop. Since they were voted to be the product Massdrop puts on sale, I assume they are quite popular. However, I am wondering whether they work as advertised: silent and efficient?

Hi, i have a Cooler Master TX3 EVO running just great. I mean now i am at 33° this is awesome. But i'm planning to buy a new case and to put the Corsair H80i that is sleeping somewhere in my room, my grand mother bought me this baby and i don't know if i should use it.. a lot of ppl are complaning about the pump, LED and fan noise and i could just put another fan on my TX3 or something like this... What do you guys think ? H80i or TX3 ?

First of all, let's get something out there... I don't care for PWM, in fact I think it's unnecessary and stupid. On my R4 I will control fan speed based on voltage (5V-7V-12V) So because of no pwm functionality I chose the NF-P12, correct me if i'm wrong but they are the exact same thing as the NF-F12, but without PWM So in the end, which one is better? For back single exhaust and dual front intake. thanks.

Hey everyone, I came here to ask for help (I don't have many tech savy friends..) I'm thinking about water cooling my GPUs with x2 Corsair H60s. The problem is, the top mount for a rad is taken up by my H100i all in one (connected to my processor) and after that there's a 240mm rad mount in the front of my case (covered by my 3.5 inch drive bays, SSD cage, and HDD cage), and a rear 120mm fan mount. My plans were to mount a rad in the back and connect that to my 770 and than have a rad in the front and connect that to my other 770. I want to have a good pressure so there's minimal dust build up but with this build I'd have almost all fans pushing and none pulling.. any advice for a confused soul? Additional Info: PC Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/35oS9 Front Fan: Pulling H100i Fan's: Pushing Rear Fan: Pushing

I'm going to upgrade my cpu. I want to get ether an i5 4670 i7 4770 or the i5 4670k and I was unsure witch would be best to get. If I was to get the 4670k I would overclock it but if so should I use a Corsair h100i or Noctua heatsink?

Suggested by the title this topic is going to be about overclocking the i5 2500K with an i30 air cooler by Arctic. The motherboard i have is included in my signature, my question is, can i overlock my processor to 4.0 Ghz minimum with the i30 cooler and my motherboard? The thing is the powerphase of the motherboard is only 4 phases. This is my first time overclocking a desktop CPU so is it safe at that frequency with my board?

Hey. What fans people who owns Corsair's 900D. What 120mm fans you reccomend used with this case's top: CorsairAir Series: AF120 Quiet Edition or SP120 Quiet Edition or SP120 High Performance Edition? or should I go to Noctua's 120MM fans? I am using currectly on front and back these 900D's fans what came with this massive case. I like have this case remain quiet but has effective cooling too. Thank all for who will help me choosing fan and give useful advices.

After a few months of planning, I believe I've come up with the parts to my upcoming gaming computer, along with monitor. The question is, did I do it right? Specifically, I'm buying a Phantom 410, which I have been informed has 3 built in fans. I'll be removing the top one for the fitting on the H100i's radiator with 2 Corsair fans. I assume the airflow will be adequate without the need for more fans? PLEASE NOTE: I am aware I didn't add a PSU or a GPU to the list, as I already own both. A Corsair CS750M PSU and a Gigabyte GTX 780ti Windforce Edition GPU. Because of the GPU's incredibly large size, I'll be removing the modular drive bay for the sake of fitting, which will also take away the ability to mount a fan on said bay. Will this effect airflow to a critical level or will I be fine with the liquid cooler and stock fans as it is? I cannot spend more than the amount I have already invested, this is literally all the money I have. I am conflicted between air cooling and liquid cooling. I know that the H100i is capeable of the best temperatures about, but is very fragile and there are risks of leaking. I do not want to waste all of my money, which brings me onto the point that air cooling is arguably cheaper and can do a similar job. What do you guys suggest, liquid, or air, and why? And if air, what is the best to buy? Maybe the Cooler Master V8 GTS? Without further ado, here's the list: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/3CwR5 If there is anything I can do to improve, or you have any suggestions, please, feel free to suggest. I am totally open to all constructive opinions. This is only planning, obviously. I'll be using this computer mainly for gaming and music production in late September, possibly the odd video render here, maybe not at all. All in all, if I were to buy the listed parts above, and combine them with my already-owned PSU and GPU, will I be on my way to a fantastic experience, or am I about to dive into a pit of wasted money and efforts? Anyway, thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

Hey guys I'm currently planning my first build and have already researched quite a bit. I've already came up with a 4790k cooled by a Cryorig R1 Ultimate and have shot a R9 290 Windforce OC quite cheap on ebay. Whats left is the choice of the case. As these parts get quite hot, the cooler the case keeps them the better. Also Watercooling support doesn't matter to me, as I'll not be changing to watercooling using one oh theses cases. I'm mainly torn between these three, but also open for other opinions. Corsair Air 540 The good: Direct airflow Small volume per chamber -> faster air exchange at the same cfm of the fans Easy cable management Looks pretty cool The bad: No bottom fan mount->no extra GPU airflow Seems to be a bit noisy Only front fan filters Fractal Arc Midi R2 The good: High front panel -> easier accesible, because the case will stand under the table A lot of fan mounts available Solid build quality All around fan filters The bad: Really nothing that would come to my head atm Phanteks Enthoo Pro Pretty similar to the Arc Midi R2

I'm looking for some new case fans and my first idea was to "get some Noctua in it and that's it" But than I found the Noiseblocker fans and their specifications are awesome, accessories too. Is there anybody who has any experience with them? I know that the Noctua fans are awesome but (for me) they are sooooo....ugly Btw,I don't even care how do they looks like but it's a pretty good felling when I look at the inside of the case (1-2 times in a year ) and the system looks nice. Let's speak it out!

Okay , so sorry if i missed the right place for this post but! I'm new So. i don't want this post to be too long and ill just jump in! I'm banging my head trying to figure out if i should get the all in one water cooling solution the Cooler Master Seidon 120V, or if i should get a air-cooler, the Cooler Master Hyper 103 EVO Low Profile cooler and a extra Fan for my case for the sake of good airflow. At the moment im running with a stock CPU cooler , and i have 1 intake fan at the bottom-front of the case. My CPU while gaming will hover around 60-65 degrees Celcius, while my GPU hovers around 60-70 degrees Celcius. Now im thinking about getting the Seidon 120V and later on a extra case fan. but im not a 100% sure it will fit in my case, because of the small Mother Board(although its not impossible). Sorry for this long post but i don't want to make a mistake, looking forward to some info! And last but not least. here is my rig. Case: Cooler Master Chassis K380 MB: M5A78L-M LX3 CPU: AMD FX-6300 (At stock speed, not over clocked) GPU: Asus R7 260X 1GDR5 RAM: Kingstone Hyper X Blu 1600mhz (1 stick of 4GB) Seidon 120V : http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/seidon/seidon-120v/ Hyper 103 EVO Low Profile : http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/hyper-series/hyper-103/ And my Case : http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower-k-series/k380/

So I have an Asus ROG laptop running an i7-2630QM CPU @2.00 GHz that turbo boost to 3.5Ghz. When running games like Borderlands 2 at ultra. My CPU temperature is 80-85 degrees Celsius when running games on ultra-detail. I know these chips are rated for like 100 C but is it ok to push my hardware that hard? Should I just move the game settings to medium? Whats the best way to improve cooling? (It has clear and cool air to intake and the exhaust is clear as well.)

I have been looking for these fans for a while to put in my computer, but I'm having a hard time finding them for sale. The fans are on amazon but are all listed as "Currently Unavailable", as the picture shows below: I have seen a few of these for sale on ebay, but they have been upwards of $60, and I don't really want to pay THAT much. So, I'm wondering if these will ever be available to consumers directly, or will I have to go the roundabout way to get them? Before this question arises: No, I do not care about how loud these are, which is why I have noise cancelling headphones that I wear almost all of the time and also have an air cleaner in my room.
