Hey everyone, Built a new rig today, the motherboard being the Aorus Z390 Pro Wifi, which is a Mini ITX board. The issue that I'm having is that the board only has three fan headers, a CPU fan header, and two case fan headers. The cooler I'm using is the Kraken M22, which requires a fan header input for the radiator, and a USB 2.0 input on the motherboard for RGB. When I launched NZXT's software the device registers under the "lighting" tab (I'm assuming this means the USB header is working) but the "cooling" tab shows no inputs, even while the radiator is plugged in correctly to the CPU fan header. After researching online a bit, it seems like I might be out of luck because I don't have a dedicated "aio pump" header or something similar. Any ideas? I've seen people use this motherboard with NZXT coolers before so there has to be a way, I just can't figure it out. Thanks!

I want to build a (quiet) System in the Silverstone SG13 soon. I'm mit shure, that small Top-Blow cooler for the CPU could be as quiet as a 120 AiO, so I'm planning to use an AiO. The question is, If there is enough space on the Drive-Tray to mount a 3,5" HDD If there is a Radiator beneath it? Or do you know a quiet Air cooler, that fits between the CPU and some STX PSU and is not noisy? I want to pit a Ryzen 2600 with 95W TDP in it.

OK so I'm an auto mechanic and it's common in my industry to use alcohol based products to get your car to run at a lower temperature Candace retrans lated over into AIO and full custom loops could you add alcohol based products to lower your temperature has anybody tried this just want some input it would probably be a cool experiment

This is my second official PC build and I love it! I've learned quite a bit since my novice days back in 2015, and with Lian LI's O11 Dynamic Razor edition case readily available and AMD knocking it out of the park with their Gen 3 series CPUs, everything just came together perfectly. SSDs are not included in the build parts list since I just transferred them from my old build and updated drivers for the new hardware. I create/analyze energy models for my engineering job and am also a huge PC gamer so it's nice to have a rig that can kick butt at both. This Build; https://pcpartpicker.com/b/cVtgXL Previous build; i5-6600K and a 980Ti (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/WFvV3C).

Hi all, My current setup in a P350X case is a front mounted 240mm radiator with 2x Blacknoise PL-PS fans pushing air through. I have an Akasa AK-FN059 as the rear exhaust set to 800RPM so it is silent and the stock Phanteks fan as a top exhaust also around 700RPM. I was wondering since I have an old spare AK-FN059 would it be better to have these as the 2 radiator fans as they have 2.98 mm H2O static pressure vs the 1.42 mm max of the PL-PS? Obviously the PL-PS are supposed to be quieter but that's a potential 52% increase in pressure. Or would I be better off putting 2 Noctua NF-A12x25 as the radiator fans, proving to run quiet and rated at 2.34 mm H2O SP. Or do you have another suggestion on how I should configure? Fan Overview AK-FN059: 83.63CFM / 2.98mm H2O / 28.9 dBA NF-A12x25: 60CFM / 2.34mm H2O / 22.6 dBA Blacknoise PL-PS: 50CFM (I think) / 1.42mm H2O / 23.7 dBA

I have considered replacing my original fans from deepcool on my AIO, since they are a bit noisy sometimes. They are currently plugged into the system fan header, since I only have one CPU-fan header on my mobo. I have considered using the shadow wings 2 120 mm PWM white from bequiet, since they fit into my white theme and have a quite dB rating. But when I compare the specs I see that: bequiet shadow wings 2 120 mm PWM white has airflow of 38,5 CFM air pressure of 0,82 mmH2O https://www.bequiet.com/en/casefans/1700 I am currently using a deepcool Captain 240EX white which has: Airflow of 153 CFM Air pressure 3,31 mmH2O http://www.gamerstorm.com/product/CPULIQUIDCOOLER/2016-04/1286_5201.shtml Would there be any problems just replacing the fans?

Hi everyone, I'm currently building my PC inside a Phanteks Eclipse p400a digital case. I have a front mounted deepcool gammaxx v2 l360, with the fans installed for intake. I installed 1 120 mm rearexhaust fan. I was wondering whether to set the 2 120mm top mounted fans to intake or to exhaust. Im primarily focused on VRM heat dissipation. I have not done any testing since I'm still awaiting the arrival of my gpu. If any one has done some testing on this subject feel free to share it.

So I recently built my first gaming rig and decided to go with a Ryzen 3700x. I paried it with two GTX 1080 cards and stuffed it all in the NZXT H510. The cards are reference cards, so the blower design actually works well with the compact style ATX case. But, to save a little money out the gate I installed the included Wraith Prism cooler since I won't be overclocking just yet. However, I now find myself wanting to upgrade the CPU cooler to something better. The only problem is I can't decide whether I should go front mounted AIO, or if I should install a beefier air cooler. As a result I am stricken with three questions: 1) Should I switch to an AIO, or stick with air cooling in the H510? 2) If I go with an AIO, will I be able to retain the brand new Corsair LL120 fans that installed in the case (i.e., can I mount them to any AIO rad and make them work)? 3) If I stick with air cooling, what cooler offers the best price to performance that will fit in the H510? PLEASE HELP!!

Hi Guys, I'm meeting some problems here when I'm building my gaming desktop. This is the problem that i face, or rather a question i want to ask. My Case (NZXT H510 elite) comes with Front: 2x 120/ 2x 140mm (2x AER RGB 2 140mm included)Top: 1x 120mm/ 1x 140mm (1x AER F140 Case Version Included)Rear: 1x 120mm (1x AER F120 Case Version Included) I'm also buying a AIO (Asus ROG Ryujin 240 RGB), should i remove the rgb fans at the front and replace it with the AIO. And I replace the top of the fan with the 2 rgb fans i just removed? And i also have another question. If i did that, where should the fans be facing? The AIO fan and the rear fan should be blowing air towards the back and at the top, the 2rgb fans are going to blow air into the desktop or face outwards to blow the hot air out? Can i have some suggestions to solve this 2 questions? Thank you a lot!

I am currently trying to see what the fan header situation will be on my MoBo. I'm rolling with a MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC with 4 standard fan headers, 1 cpu fan header, and 1 pump header. Three of the standard fan headers are taken up by case fan and I need to know what headers to use for my AIO cooler. The Cooler Master ml240l has two fans connected by a y-splitter ad then a separate 3-pin connector for the pump. With these two fan connectors i need to find a home for, which of the three fan headers do I put them in?

Case: MSI MAG Vampiric 010 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk I'm planning to buy the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum for my 2600x and I'm wondering if the USB cable provided with the cooler is long enough to reach the USB header below. Please note that I will be placing the radiator on top.

I've always loved small form factor cases over bling and led. The build below is my dream build. Having discovered £1 listings on ebay and getting some really good prices for my old hardware I set about building this mini beast. It had to be small, quiet and pack a punch. Fitting the dual AIO's in was a challenge but once the orientation is right it goes in nicely. The CPU AIO radiator is actually sitting over the PSU and the GPU radiator sits over the CPU block. I found this to be the best orientation to avoid kinks. I only use the PC for gaming and Revit which is primarily single threaded so figured a cooler 9700k would be a better fit for the small form factor than a furnace 9900k. Temps 50C/60c gaming CPU GPU RTX games 62c with normal games running around 50c. All in all I'm over the moon with it. Just tempted to swap out to the better noctua fans on the rads. I'll post another pic in its second habitat. The living room tonight. OLED 4k/60hz HDR single player games are a sight to behold. Hey Yall, My Question is basically the title, I am wondering if replacing my Be Quiet! Dark Rock 4 air cooler with an AIO water cooler (Such as a Cosair H100i) would help my computers thermals in hot 90F+ weather. Where my computer is I could get and put in a small window AC unit but i am wondering if this would be a better or more long term solution. Please lend me your thoughts, Thanks! PS: The CPU it would be cooling is a Ryzen 7 3800x

Does anyone know what the correct or more common position is for AIO tube routing? Apparently placing the tubes from bottom up reduces or eliminates air pockets, therefore reducing pump speed said to remove those therefore reducing thermals and noise. What’s everyone’s take on this? Tempted to rotate the AIO a full 90* degrees to see if this is true. NZXT X62 manual doesn’t show if its up or down. Only issue I’m thinking is that the space between GPU and AIO is a bit too close to bend the tubes comfortably. ??

I might know the answer to this already, but here it goes. I'm running a 1920x threadripper cooled by a Gamer Storm Captain 240 pro, with a rx 380 xfx graphics card. Aside from bottle necking by system, could the gpu cause overheating to the cpu by straining it, or what would other causes be?

hello i was wondering if the h60 2018 from corsair would cool a i7 9700k. the h60 on the box does not say its TDW on it so i dont know how much it can handle. the i7 9700k needs one for 95tdw

Good day all. So this may be a silly question and i am not entirely sure where to post it, so it seem logical that i do it here. But does anyone know what AIO is the best for the new Noctua fans(NF-A12 PWM) as in which AIO would benefit the most from having those fans on? Best regards Reddice.

Just wanted to share an almost horror story... I believe I was just incredibly lucky while installing my new CPU (3900x). I had installed it in my MB and put the whole thing in the case and next was installing my AIO (Deepcool Captain 240 Pro). I put some Noctua thermal paste on the CPU and screwed the water block on the CPU. Then I wanted to take the water block off, to check the amount of thermal paste. And that's when the horror struck... I unscrewed the water block and tried to pull it off, but it was still stuck. So I unscrewed more, until I was 200% certain that the screws were completely out off the bracket, but the water block was still completely stuck. I, in my infinite wisdom, decided to pull harder, and it finally loosened and came off. But, to my horror, it had in fact NOT loosened! I had pulled the CPU straight out of the (locked!) socket. And the water block is still completely stuck to it. I managed to detach the water block from the CPU by sliding it off. And after inspecting the CPU, all pins seemed to be intact, so I did the only thing I could do and installed it again. After completing my build I have to admit that my pulse was quite high when I tried to boot. And to my joy it booted and posted just fine, with all 4 RAM sticks detected! I have yet to install windows and try using the computer, but I think I dodged a bullet here and the CPU (and socket) survived.

Okay guys, I'm having some issues with overclocking and system temps while stability testing etc and looking for some help please. Specs:- 9900k Be Quiet! Silent Loop 360mm with 3 high speed Silent Wings 3's Z390 Aorus Master (F10 Bios) 32gb Gigabyte Aorus RGB ram 3200Mhz dual channel (whoops) Gigabyte OC 1080ti Seasonic Focus Gold 750w PSU Phanteks P600s with Mesh panels with 4 140mm High Speed Silent Wings 3's Temperature wise I'm having issues with my AIO when stressing it, even at stock speeds it will regularly hit 97c during Prime 95 Small FFT's within five minutes even with all fans running 100%. I know that the 9900k is a furnace but is this normal? Everyday usage at stock speeds is okay I guess, at the high 70's or Low 80's. Overclocked at 5Ghz on the the F9 bios and it was barely hanging on in the high 80's under load. I've reseated and re pasted numerous times. The pump seems to be running fine so I'm really not sure what's going on. Is it really just not quite enough for the 9900k? Overclocking now I just can't seem to get stable and could really use some advice. My settings are:- Enhanced Multicore Performance - Disabled CPU Clock Ratio - 50 AVX Offset - 0 Intel Turbo Boost Tech - On Turbo Ratios - all @ 50 Hyper Threading Tech - Enabled Speed Shift Tech - Disabled CPU Vcore LLC - Turbo CPU Vcore - 1.3 Okay so this will happily chew through several passes of Cinebench R20 with around a 600point increase over stock. However the moment I try to run P95 or something similar the system will instantly hard lock and BSOD. Web browsing etc will work fine but gaming will randomly BSOD. I'm really not sure what's going on as I've already increased the Vcore higher than on the previous bios. I'm a complete novice with this stuff so am wondering if there is something I've missed. Can someone please help me get this figured out?

Hey everyone! Just about to put together my new computer in my CM H500P case. The specs sheet on the case say the top supports up to a 360 mm rad so I went to my local computer store and bought myself a Corsair H150i after doing some research. The H150i states that it's a 360 mm rad but after doing some more reading it seems it's closer to 400? So, clearly those numbers don't match up. My question is, is this kind of an industry standard (where 360 mm rads are typically closer to 400 mm) or did Corsair mislead their customers by understating it's size by around 40 mm? Will this rad fit in the top of my case or should I return it and get another AIO? If I do need to return it, what kind of an AIO could I get that would have similar cooling capabilities? Thanks!

Hey guys, this is my first post here so I am sorry if I chose the wrong topic. Here's my problem: I already have a Nzxt h510 case and the msi rtx 2070 super gaming x trio. Because the gpu is really long (32,5 cm I think) I am not sure if an AIO will actually fit. I am interested in nzxt kraken 240mm or enermax 240 aio and I would really like to have the fans inside so you can see them. The best way I thought of was to mount the radiator in the front behind the mounting bracket and have the fans on the inside of the bracket. So the bracket would be between radiator and fans. There should be enough room to fit the tubes through the bracket but I am concerned about the Temps of the cpu. I would appreciate your help.

Hello Everyone, i was checking some videos and forums and begin to doubt my current AIO fan placement In my current configuration i have the fans between the radiator and the front plate of the Case, but I've seen that in some cases they put the fans inside the front part of the case. it will have any effect in the cooling? thanks in advance.
