Dear all, I apologize if this is in the wrong section but I'm not sure where to post this. I'm looking to fill some space in the interior of my pc and would love to hear suggestions. I have a matx motherboard fitted in a Fractal Designs Define S case, thus drive bays are hidden at the back. This leaves a lot of space at the front. I'd love to fill it with something. I'm not looking for water cooling systems, LED strips or optical drives but would love to hear suggestions for something unique to place inside the case. The side panel has a huge window which currently showcases nothing on one side. I've been searching for accessories which connect with the extra power connectors(Molex,SATA) that came with my PSU but can't seem to find any online. I might not be searching for the correct terms as searching for "Molex powered accessories" just turns up molex connector cables. An example of what I'm looking for would probably be like an LED temperature clock display panel or other such accessories that could decorate the interior space. Stationary decorations would also do the trick. My friends have suggested a bonsai plant, aquarium, anime figurines and Warhammer miniature dioramas. Basically I'd like: 1.) Something that doesn't require maintenance. (bonsai, aquarium) 2.) No risk to components (Aquarium, small reptile terrarium) 3.) Something that doesn't require DIY, a working product that I can buy would be preferred. 4.) Something that wouldn't obstruct airflow or affect PC temperature as much. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Ages ago i bought a G15 logitech keyboard and G9 logitech mouse for a computer i bought when i was younger to game with friends, when wow was taking off. The keyboard and mouse have fought a good battle. Specifically the mouse (Logitech G9). All my accessories have been Logitech. Fan boy a little here. Recently bought a logitech gaming headset the G230. Not disappointed but not blown away. so my faith in logitech as been constant not to mention the surround sound I've been rocking for ages from them... ok enough about logitech. I need a new keyboard. Out of all the logitech toys i have ... gotta say the G15 keyboard needs replacement. Since purchase ages ago I've come sorta aware of what i have and whats best (thanks Linus). Over the years this boy fought the good fight, i have completely dissembled the keyboard and cleaned it numerous times. you know sometimes with accidents you really have to. To the point i built my first PC (budget) a couple months ago. Build as follows: - BenQ XL2411 (monitor) - Case fractal Design R4 - MSI 970 Motherboard - G.Skill Ripjaws 4GBx4 (DDR3 1866) - AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-core 3.5GHz (4.0 GHx Turbo) - MSI R9 380 4GB - Samsung 850 Evo 250GB - Kingston V300 120GB - Corsair CX series CX500 500 watt Built this PC for bang for buck. The Sticky/Broken G15 needs replacement. This is why I'm looking for help. Peripherals i just grad a brand I trust and go (usually). with keyboards i need a little help. I want to move to a mechanical keyboard. I hear alot of Cherry MX swithches? lets face it. No idea whats going on hear. If a mechanical keyboard can improve response and remove spongy unresponsive keys thats a win. Very much Appreciatte anyhelp.

Hello! I am going to order teh brand new ipod touch very soon, but I noticed the lack of cases and high-quality skins available for them. The only ones that I can find are ones originally made for the 5g which has a cut out for the wrist strap. Please send me a link to any accessories that you can find!

So I have 150€ to spend for my birthday and I wanted to peripherals for my PC. Basically the only thing I don't need is a mouse + mousepad. Right now I am looking at getting a mechanical keyboard (Corsair K70, Strafe or Func KB-460). If you have any comments or suggestion for those please share! But I would like to hear from you guys, what the best possible addition to my set-up would be. (Also for US people think 150€ = 150$)

I've been noticing on youtube channels and in store that there are some accessories that I would've never purchased, but after using it/see it being used I decided to buy it and now, some of those accessories I can't live without. So, what are some accessories that you have purchased for your computer/laptop/tablet/mobile device that you never thought you'd buy, but can live without?

How do you store your camera gear and accessories at home?? So far I keep my gear in the extra camera bags I own. Looking to change that once I buy new furniture.

While browsing through the internet. I stumbled onto this. An ALIENWARE GRAPHICS AMPLIFER, for their laptops, of course. Don't really know what topic this goes under. But any relevant info or experience on this product should help. Was wondering if external graphics extensions for laptops actually work. It would really be interesting to have a review on this or similar products. So, I know there's a forum already named "What camera does everyone use", but my question is more of what gear do you use as your go to? What lens, tripods, cases, accessories... What do you feel helps you? Lens hoods? Lens filters? Anything unorthodox? I'll start :D I just got my first DSLR, so I don't have many lens or accessories yet, but what I do have is... 1. 55-250mm Lens 2. 18-55mm Lens 3. Generic Canon case 4. And I guess I'll tag my camera too... T3i 5. I also have an off-brand battery grip coming in the mail tomorrow. My go to lens would be my 55-250mm lens, I feel the other leaves me with being to far away. What do you use?

I think this is important. Many companies made accessories, mostly headsets, that worked on X360 (and PC at the same time) and now we are hearing they won't work on Xbox One. Nice waste of money I'd say.. And I was getting ready to buy one. Nice dodge.. Microsoft confirmed to Joystiq only Xbox One controllers and accessories are supported by the new console. The new system won't support the Xbox 360 controller or Xbox 360 Kinect. When approached, a Microsoft spokesperson provided us with the following statement: "Xbox One was designed from the ground up with entirely new technology to deliver a new generation of experiences for both games and entertainment For example, the Wireless Controller will connect to the console using high speed data transfer to enable higher fidelity headset audio and future controller add-on experiences that are not possible with Xbox 360 wireless technology. Additionally, the all-new Kinect sensor's ability to locate the wireless controller is dependent on new technology. In order for Xbox One to deliver robust, meaningful gaming scenarios for all users across all experiences, only Xbox One controllers and accessories will work with the new console." Microsoft previously confirmed to Polygon and Engadget the Xbox One won't support the Xbox 360 controller or Xbox 360 Kinect respectively. Neither is surprising, given Microsoft's new system has a redesigned controller and a next-gen edition of the Kinect sensor. However, while it isn't explicitly said, Microsoft's statement seems to indicate the Xbox One won't support any Xbox 360 accessories. Welcome reader! This is my first proper review on the forum. The product I've chosen to review is my new phone... or should I say tablet. The thing is, that I can say both as the name implies the device is both a phone and a tablet. Now that we've got the introduction out of the way, let's look at the specs. SPECS The CPU it uses in an unconventional x86 based Intel Atom Z2420 along with PowerVR SGX540 and 1GB of RAM. All of the Android 4.1 (Jelly bean) goodness is displayed on a 7" 1280x800 IPS screen. It comes with built-in 8 (or in my case) 16GB of storage and 1 or 2 cameras depending on which model you go for (and where you live). The front facing camera is 1.2MP and is able to record videos in 720p, while the back camera is less impressive with only 3.15MP. The battery powering everything has a capacity of 4270mAh (16Wh). DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY The tablet's design strongly resembles the (old) Nexus 7 and the MeMO Pad HD7 - all built by ASUS unsurprisingly. This is a proven design and works very well if you hold the device one handedly, which you will need to if you will want to call someone. The biggest difference is the earpiece on the front and the materials used on the back. Unlike the Nexus or MeMO Pad HD7, it uses a metal back. On the back (top) we also find a cover for the MicroSIM and MicroSD card, which also acts like a 3G antenna and because of that it's made of plastic. If you think that the cover will fall off by accident you're wrong. It is secured very strongly and I even had problems taking it off the first time. Another thing we find on the back is a single speaker in a position similar to the iPad. The power switch and the volume rocker are found on the top left side. The bottom has a MicroUSB and a 3,5mm headphone jack. DISPLAY The display used also comes from the Nexus 7. It's a 7 inch 1280x800 IPS panel, which means only 216PPI. That doesn't sound so impressive, but in general use it works very well. If you don't like how the display looks calibrated out of the box, ASUS offers you the ASUS Splendid utility which allows you to set all the color aspects how you want them to. I didn't tweak the settings at all, but the options are there. PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY LIFE Because this is my personal device and I find benchmarks to be pointless, I'm going to tell you how the device performs in my day to day tasks. I'm not a big phone guy, but I do some internet browsing, watch some videos etc. The hyperthreaded single core Atom processor ran smoothly throughout all the tasks I threw at it. The internet browser ran smoothly as did the menus. I tried playing HD Youtube videos and it ran them without any problems. I wouldn't do crazy multitasking though, because of only 1GB of RAM. If there is anything that this device excels at it's the battery life. For my usage I was able to get it through 4 days. Yes, you heard me. 4 days. This is twice as long as I managed to get with my previous phone - Samsung Wave. CALL QUALITY The call quality is excellent. There is no unnecessary noise at either end, thanks to the noise cancelling mic and a quality earpiece. I didn't experience any dropped calls and the reception is good too. ACCESSORIES For my use I've also bought the ASUS VersaSleeve7 and the Riva Case 5107. The VersaSleeve has a leathery look and feel. It closes using magic... sorry, I meant magnets and it allows you to rest the tablet in 2 angles - one more suitable for typing and one for watching videos. Because I carry my phone everywhere with me I also needed a shoulder bag, because it wouldn't fit in any of my pockets. I decided for the Riva Case 5107. It's made from memory foam which is advertised to be both shock and water resistant. I haven't tried any of those features out, but I can say that it's fun to play with CONCLUSION If you can't decide whether you need a phone or a tablet, if you think that the Note 3 is too small or you just don't want to carry 2 devices with you, the Fonepad is an excellent choice. It is well built, the calling is excellent as is the battery life. Hello people of Linus Tech forum. I recently built a nice custom build computer. The case I have is the Corsair Graphite 760T full tower white case. The front panel has two white LED fans that look really good. But I would like to put some maybe blue and white LED strips inside the case because I have a nice viewing window and would like to see the parts inside at night. My question is, who and where do I go to buy said LED strips and can they plug into a 4 pin molex connectors. If anyone could point to websites and links to where I can buy these please do.
