Hi everyone, I am currently trying to set up my first home server using some spare parts that I have gathered over the past few years. The server is primarily for hosting Minecraft and other games at the moment, and eventually, I plan to upgrade it to be a proper NAS for file storage. However, I am facing an issue where the keyboard is not being recognized during the boot process. When I boot up the PC/server, it displays the "Gigabyte Insist on Ultra Durable" boot logo with the BIOS hotkeys below it. I have tried pressing del, f2, f9, or f12 to get into the BIOS to try and select a boot drive, but nothing happens, and it stays on that screen. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, including swapping the RAM sticks, resetting the CMOS, getting a new battery for the CMOS, putting in my GPU, trying a PS/2 keyboard, putting in a boot drive with Windows pre-installed, and checking for basic mistakes such as CPU power, motherboard power, proper RAM installation, etc. However, the problem persists. I have a speaker for boot codes and it isn't indicating that anything is wrong. The parts were my main build for a while before I upgraded, and I lent them to a friend for a year while they waited for their own stuff to arrive. It was all working fine last month in my friend’s build, and I made sure to store it safely. The keyboard is receiving power from the USB ports, but it seems to not be accepting any input. Here are the specs of my build: CPU: Ryzen 3 2200g Memory: Corsair Vengeance 2400mhz 16GB (8GB*2) Motherboard: Gigabyte A320M-S2H PSU: EVA 500w I would greatly appreciate any help or advice to resolve this issue. Thank you. Joey

Hello everyone, I built this new PC with all new componentes (Except for a very very old case, but that shouldn't matter, the PSU is new), and it's crashing all the time while gaming. The exact components are: -CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200g -GPU: AMD Vega 8 -Motherboard: Asrock A320M-HDV R4.0 (BIOS factory default 3.70) -RAM: 2x8gb XPG Gammix D30 -SSD: Apacer Panther 120gb [windows] -HDD: 500 gb seagate ssd [games] The PC works, it boots up (And quite fast at that), I can use office programs, internet browsing, no problem. However, when gaming I get constant BSOD, always the same error code: "THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER" I tried updating the BIOS from version 3.70 to version 4.00, and I still get the crashes. Last night, I was able to play for about 3 hours no problems, but today I couldn't play one whole CSGO competitive match without crashing. I noticed something interesting, it's always when using an internet browser on the background while the game was on. I guess it could have been other programs, but I tested while watching YouTube videos. I tried a few times, and indeed the game worked fine until I put on a video. It's not instant, and it seems kinda random, but it's what I could gather. Also, for some reason (As of now, I'll keep testing), Other thing that got my attention is the low CPU and GPU usage while playing. It never reached 100% in either of those, even with Vsync off and unlimited framerate. It's not thermal throttle, according to HWMonitor and Speccy, temps were cool at about 40º-50ºC. I'm thinking about downgrading the BIOS to version 3.30, which is the first one to support the 3200g. But I wanted to ask opinions on what to do here, and if someone had similar problems. Now this may be a bit silly but... are short circuits with the case possible? I'm guessing if that was the case the PC wouldn't work at all, but since it's pretty old and uses a kinda different mounting mechanism for the screws... idk, I really don't think so, but yeah... So... If anyone could help me, I'd be extremely grateful, I hope I can find an answer soon.

So, my PC started stuttering a while back, when there was an automatic Windows update. Looks like the the CPU starts using only one or two of it's cores, never peaking, but it's definitely not close to usage of the other cores. It is not a problem on certain games or programs, because it happens to many different applications. This problem has happened before, but not as intense as it is happening now, and it kind of solved itself with time. The worst part about it now is that it is completely unstable and happens out of nowhere. It can happen after half an hour of studying in the PC or after half a day of playing. I tried a lot of different stuff to try and solve it (including uninstalling the Windows updates). Optimizing the BIOS configuration is my last hope. I know it might not even possible with this hardware, especially the memory, but maybe someone had this same issue Edit: The inconsistency attacks again. Half an hour in a meeting, it started stuttering. This is what happens. It stopped after a few minutes, and the third image is the normal CPU usage AFTER it started functioning badly.

Hi, more than a month ago I built my first desktop with a very limited budget, the components that I bought were: -Ryzen 3 3200G -ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 (BIOS Ver. 3.70) -Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 Mhz (2x8gb) (It is running at 2933 with XMP Profile activated because that is the highest frequency it supports according to the manufacturer) -Cooler Master Elite V3 500W (it came with the case) Once the build was finished, I installed every updated driver and it worked perfectly but after a couple of weeks it started to have an issue: After playing any game for a not very long time, the screen turned off as if the pc had turned off, but the pc was still on so i had to restart with the front panel button every time this happened. I ''solved'' this error by installing the AMD all in one with VGA driver from the ASRock website (I use a VGA monitor), but now I have the same issue but in a different way: Every time i'm playing any game the screen freezes after some time but the menu music stills playing normally (this never happens in the middle of a game, only in the menus) and I have to restart from the front pannel again and again. I don't know if this is because of the PSU, the motherboard, the drivers, the bios, but I have tried every solution that I found in forums but none of them have worked yet. please help me. Sorry if there are gramatical errors, I don't speak english fluently

I recently bought a three pack of the Corsair AF120 and they're stuck at full speed on my Asus motherboard. I've tried using AI Suite 3, the BIOS fan control and Speedfan but nothing lets me change them. I noticed on my friends Asus BIOS under the advanced fan settings there was an option to choose between PWM or DC control but I don't seem to have an option for that. How do I enable DC control? Fan Xpert cant even detect them. Thanks.

I am facing several issues with my PC. At random times, it will freeze. This freeze involves my mouse and keyboard becoming unusable and any audio that was playing to loop the last half-second or so of what it was playing. After about 10 seconds of this, the screen goes black and I need to restart my PC with the power button on my case. The Gigabyte logo on my graphics card starts to flash red and a small white light turns on. This crash occurs even when the graphics card is under minimal load like using a web browser. The crash also occurs on Linux. I am not overclocking anything in my system. Specs: CPU- Ryzen 2700x Graphics Card- Gigabyte Radeon RX 570 4G Motherboard- Gigabyte A320M-H Power Supply- Corsair TX650M (650W) What I have done: - I have RMA'd the power supply but the replacement did not solve this issue - I have switched the RAM but the new RAM did not solve this issue - I have upgraded and downgraded my BIOS version, issue still occured - I have installed newer graphics card drivers, older graphics card drivers, DDU'd my drivers and reinstalled, still experienced issue I am fairly certain that the issue is not the graphics card itself, since I have used it on other systems and not experienced any crashes. Is this a common problem? Is anyone else with a similar system experiencing this? I think it might be worth getting a new motherboard, but I don't want to if it's not going to do anything. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I'm from Southeast Asia so excuse my English. I currently have a Ryzen 3 2200g on a Biostar A320m motherboard and I was thinking of upgrading my CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600g. I checked the manufacturer's website for my motherboard and with the latest bios update it seems like a 5600g would be compatible with it. I'm eventually going to upgrade my motherboard to a b450 or b550 in a month or so. My question is would the a320 hold up for the month that it'll take me to upgrade my motherboard. I am currently employed as a Virtual Assistant and I'll be using my computer for admin tasks, google sheets as well as some cs:go and Valorant. Included below is the manufacturer's website with the list of compatible CPUs. Any info or insight would be a big help. Thank you. https://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=912#cpusupport

I -stupidly- installed RAM the other way around and fried it due to my low PC Knowledge, since then the motherboard doesn’t post, and doesn’t even say I have no RAM, did I also damage my motherboard? CPU - AMD Ryzen 2400G GPU - EVGA RTX 2060 KO RAM - Fury HyperX 8GB-2933MHz (8GBx1) Motherboard - ASUS EX-A320M GAMING Power Supply - Seasonic S12II 650W Storage - WD 1TB HDD

Hi guys. So i bought an "asus ex a320m GAMING" mobo with an athlon200ge cpu. So I got a hd 6570 lying around and decided to use it as a place holder. It worked okay. Then i swapped it with a 9800 GT (which i know it works on other computers) but my mobo doesn't detect it. So i swapped with another nvidia card (GT 210 and 9600 GT) and still the mobo didn't detected it. All are working on another computer. So I decided to swap it back to the 6570 and it worked fine. Everything is just a place holder except for the mobo. I need to know if my mobo only support amd cards because I'm saving up for a better gpu. I wanna buy an nvidia card but i don't if it works on the mobo. Tech noob here. I have an Asus ex a320m gaming 500 watt psu Athlon 200ge 4gb ddr4 2400 I wanna know what the problem is. i fiddled with the bios and the connections for the past 4 days still none works

Guys I need a motherboard for my Ryzen setup and I only have the budget to buy A320 board. I came across these 2 boards https://www.gigabyte.com/in/Motherboard/GA-A320M-H-rev-11#kf and https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-A-PRO-MAX/Overview . They cost exactly the same and I have no idea what the difference is or which is better. Help me out please. Which is better and why at exactly the same price? Thank you.

Does motherboard affect cpu and integrated graphics card performance? like, Ryzen 5 3400g it has integrated graphics, when you install it on a320 and b450 motherboard, it can affect the performace of apu? i have Ryzen 5 3400g installed on msi a320m a pro, but i'm planning to upgrade my mobo to msi b450 tomahawk max, can it increase the performance of my apu?

I am a noob. i may be wrong. I am planning to buy 3100 this week. But what if i buy a a320m motherboard? I mean they are cheaper than b450. Other than the future proof, what is the advantage of b450 over a320
-
I've been hearing that A320M motherboards are of cheap quality and B450M is a better choice but still I am not going to overclock CPU or RAM nor am I going to add dual GPU to the build. I just wanted to know whether Asus EX A320M-GAMING is worth buying https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/EX-A320M-GAMING/ or are there any good A320M motherboards in the market?

Aight, so basically I had a PC that I built a few years ago, and recently I messed up while applying fresh new thermal paste to my processor, and I ruined it (It was an old fx series). So I decided to buy a new one, and since I already had some DDR4 that I had never used, I just had to buy a new processor and motherboard. I bought the Ryzen 3200g, and the motherboard which is a gigabyte a320, but it turns out that its bios wasn't up to date to be compatible with my third gen Ryzen, so I had AMD send me a bootkit (which is an athlon) so that I can use it to update the bios so it recognises my Ryzen 3. But when I press the power button my PC wouldn't turn a single light one, let alone boot, so I had Amazon send me a replacement for the motherboard, because I knew all my old oarts worked just fine, and it couldn't be the CPU since I tested two different ones from the first, and the third generation. The one they sent had a sticker saying it was ready for third gen Ryzen, but turns out that it didn't work with either my Ryzen or the Athlon boot kit, so I went out of my way and bought a brand new DDR4 memory stick just in case mine for some reason was malfunctioning, but that did not fix the problem, and I just can't figure out what the problem could be, they're supposedly compatible with one another, so there shouldn't be a problem. My especific components are the following: Motherboard: Gigabyte A320M-S2H CPU: Ryzen 3200g Second CPU: AMDs bootkit is an Athlon 200GE RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400 (1x8) Second RAM: G. Skill Aegis 3000 (1x8) Power supply: EVGA 500B 80 plus bronze

Hello everyone, I haven't posted here in a looong while so here it goes. I have a Ryzen 1200 paired with an Asrock a320m pro4 motherboard + a 500w PSU which is 80+ bronze rated. The GPU in the system is the AMD RX 580. My dilemma is the CPU upgrade path... I am currently looking at the 2700x, I like the cooler I like the CPU and it looks like the perfect option but my concern is the motherboard and PSU. Asrock says its fine PSU calculators say its fine... But is it though? Anyone with actual experience on the matter Thanks and best regards.

Hello, I have just finished building my first PC Ryzen 3 2200G with no other eGPU than it's interrogated VEGA 8. I have also got a new 19" monitor which is VGA-only. Unfortunately for some reason the PC won't output anything on the monitor correctly/wrong resolution. My GIGABYTE A320-S2H motherboard does has a D-Input/VGA. It would boot up with all wrong resolution then after the Windows 10 loading boot animation (also in wrong resolution) it would stay on black screen. Tried going on Low-res mode and safe mode, nothing worked. Just to make sure I have plugged the PC to my 40" Samsung TV using HDMI and it works flawlessly with BIOS correctly scaled and Windows booting up and reaching desktop correctly. I had installed all required driver and that didn't made it work at all. Resetted the PC back to fresh Windows 10 and still no solution. Anyone can help me with this frustrating issue? Huge thanks! Office PC Im running an Arock A320M Pro4 unfortunetly my old M.2 drive in it died. So I purchased the Western Digital M.2 2280 to replace it but its not being picked up by Windows Setup (or on the bios). Is there a compatability issue I have missed? It cant be drivers? as not showing up in bios. Bios version im on bios 6.00, cant do 6.10 as CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 2406. Which is raven, i think?. My old M.2 died. Perhaps its fried the M.2 socket somehow. Would love some help, as I am at a loss.

I went around 20 minutes watching with Chrome and it was fine, then used Edge and within 3 or 4 minutes it crashed. I repeated this a couple times. It could have been just coincidence, but I don't know. Other thing that got my attention is the low CPU and GPU usage while playing. It never reached 100% in either of those, even with Vsync off and unlimited framerate. It's not thermal throttle, according to HWMonitor and Speccy, temps were cool at about 40º-50ºC. I don't think this is the problem, but I'm not using a 80 plus PSU. Since it's a low power build, I thought spending lots of money on a good PSU was a waste, and just went for a generic one, with at least a little bit of power on the 12V line (rated for 32 A, it should be more than enough, but I'm throwing this here just in case). This is the PSU: http://lnz.com.ar/index.php/producto/sx-550-watts/ Now this may be a bit silly but... are short circuits with the case possible? I'm guessing if that was the case the PC wouldn't work at all, but since it's pretty old and uses a kinda different mounting mechanism for the screws... idk, I really don't think so, but yeah... I still can ask for a refund, so that's my chance, I have 2 weeks to fix the problem, but I don't want to get to that. I rather fix the problem. My main suspect here is the motherboard, but I can't be sure, maybe the CPU or RAM? So... If anyone could help me, I'd be extremely grateful, I hope I can find an answer soon.

My CPU speed automatically degraded from 3.4GHz to 0.54GHz and stuck there. This happened while I was playing game so I restarted my PC initially after restart my PC was giving 3.4GHz but on stress test it downgrades the performance and on the next day it was stuck at 0.54Ghz. I have already reinstalled windows and reset the CMOS. Please help me find the issue or the component that is downgrading the performance. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Hi there. I just bought second-hand pc from ebay. Seller is claiming everything was working before he posted it, but I just had "no signal detected". PC Specs: Ryzen 3 1300 Rx 470 4gb Sapphire 8gb Kingston 2666 Evga 600w a320m-pro I swapped rx470 with rx590 and everything was working as it should. However, rx470 still was not working in my main pc. I tried it with 3 different monitors as well different cables HDMI, DVI and Display Port. Only once I managed to get some kind of "feedback" from the rx470 which was white/pink artefact screen. I didnt try to update the BIOS since newer card was working just fine on a320. I try both modes of BIOS on gpu (V Bios switch) with the same results. Just want to ensure that gpu in fact is faulty or I am missing something specific about this card? Thank you
