Hey guys, so I'm trying to determine which monitor to pick up over the next few months as an early "Christmas" gift for myself. I've wanted to pick up a 144hz gaming monitor for a while now, and i've started to get really competitive into CS:GO, so i figured now would be the best time! I have two options (and possibly open to suggestions); the BenQ XL2420Z and AOC's G2460PQU. Why these? Well, I did a nice bit of research on 144hz monitors and the different between some models in the brands, but ultimately i'm looking to pick up one that has a good response time (evident with all the models i looked at), Height, swivel, pivot and rotation (landscape or portrait), speakers (although i probably won't use them often), and something around the $300-450 CAD. I know BenQ and AOC have a pretty good reputation when it comes to monitors, but i'm looking for a good quality 144hz monitor (24") that won't kill my bank account. I currently have an ASUS PB238Q 24" Professional monitor i use for photo/video editing, as well as game development (where i need to make sure assets are their proper colors), however the 5ms response time hurts in multiplayer games. So, what i need is some feedback on what you guys have used/heard/seen before about these monitors (and maybe others), because i've never owned a 144hz monitor before so i want the best one suited for my needs! BenQ spec link: http://www.ncix.com/detail/benq-xl2420z-24in-led-3d-05-94227-1211.htm AOC spec link: http://www.ncix.com/detail/aoc-g2460pqu-24in-led-gaming-25-103554-1761.htm?affiliateid=7474144 As always, appreciate all the feedback in advanced! Cheers!

Hi, I'm debating between buying a touchscreen laptop(seems max is 15.6"), Custom thin-mini itx all in one(plug into any TV), or this monster tablet. I want to show off my Photography/ renderings/ digital paintings. Full info: http://shop.nabitablet.com/products/nabi-big-tab-24-inch Fast Specs: Weight: 13 lbs (6 kg) - 10 lbs just Tablet NVIDIA® Tegra® 4 T40S, Cortex-A15 Quad-core (4+1 cores) 1.6GHz with burst speed to 1.8GHz Android 4.4, Kit Kat 16GB Storage (plenty for a 25+ 24.3 MP photo's/other art works at full rez. In my opinion) 2GB RAM Guess what I'm asking is for opinions for something cheap but has at least a 17" that isn't a plain Laptop and around $500 (side note the Nabi has dropped to $300 on sale, multiple times). I want clients to SEE my images not glance at them. (yes i know the work actually needs to be good) I feel size matters as someone will look closer at something big because they can, if its small they are just like "welp thats nice" and do a 360 and walk away. /end miniscule rant Attached: resized example of my work

For a while I have been meaning to get a new primary monitor, and demote my old TN to use as a secondary monitor. In addition to the specs mentioned in the title; it must have anti-glare, and ideally no glossy plastic bezels (for the same reason). I'd also like to keep the price under $240/£150. What are your recommendations? So far I have found these: AOC I2476VWM Asus VS239HV Thoughts? The AOC looks particularly tempting.

Hey everyone. I have had basically two monitors since the day I built my PC back in January, since 1x1080p display was nowhere near enough space for my needs, referencing college documents, watching films while doing work, guides for gaming and Server admin stuff such as TS, Minecraft and recently a Gmod server, ect. My current monitors are an AOC E2460S - which can super-sample to 4K and a Samsung S24D590L. The AOC is TN and the Samsung is PLS, and I love the colours on the PLS panel and use it way more than the AOC, for uses such as Photoshop. A major gripe I have at the moment is the AOC is a true 24" panel while the Samsung is a 23.8" panel and is slightly out off line with the other monitor. That + Self-diagnosed OCD = A lot of frustration, daily. Well the same has happened to me yet again, only with 2x 1080p monitors. 3840x1080 is not enough for me. I was thinking about selling my monitors for around £250 for the pair (My friend is interested at the moment in them) and saving a bit of money to invest in a 4k monitor. If I really try, I could get a third 24" monitor, but I really wouldn't be comfortable with the positioning since it would be practically half off the desk, and with the rate i keep banging my desk, I don't want it to fall over. Question 1: Should I go with a 24" 4k IPS monitor - Dell P2415H or a 28" TN Monitor - AOC U2868Pqu or get a third 1080p monitor for 5760x1080? My max price would be £350 if I sell the 2x1080p monitors and save a little, or £100-£110 for a third monitor My graphics card is an Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 970 G1 Gaming 4GB card - I have the intention on going SLI in the distant future or selling the card for a new card depending on the price. i anticipate your input on the matter and appreciate your response.

Hey Guys I found the Acer K242HQKbmjdp (24", 3840x2160, ips) monitor on Amazon and it looks amazing. The only problem is that nobody on this planet reviewed it or wrote about his/her experience with it. I only found one not really satisfying review that mentions stuff like input latency. I'm really interested in that panel and now wonder if someone owning that particular panel could tell me what it's like and if it's worth it.

I've got to the point where I finally want a 1440p IPS display. I'm in spain so I think pricings are a bit wierd but my non korean options are: BenQ BL2420PT 24" LED IPS http://orwww2.benq.com/product/monitor/bl2420pt/ 399€ BenQ GW2765HT 27" LED IPS http://www.benq.com/product/monitor/GW2765HT/ 399€ Since the only difference that I can appreciate is the screen size, which do you think is a better choice? Of course, I could use pointers to other possibly better monitors. I am interested in korean panels it's just that the possibility of having dead pixels and having to deal with sending it back (if that is even possible) seems too much to handle. BTW, the pricing is somehow wrong right?

So I need some advice on what to do. Here's the situation: Currently I'm using a 60hz LG 23" IPS monitor. I mainly play CSGO but I enjoy games such as Bioshock, LoL and I'm planning to play the new Need for Speed and Battlefront games(plz EA don't let me down). I'm looking into purchasing a 144hz monitor, I've tried the Benq XL2411z and coming from an IPS monitor it was OK, fine for CSGO but Bioshock(1) looked like shit compared to my IPS. Now I know there are some IPS 144hz monitors out atm, however 27" is way too big for me, I've tried. Furthermore there seems to not be any 24" models available atm. So I'm wondering if I should wait for the perfect monitor to show up(if there ever is going to be any 24" models) or just buy the XL2411z for CSGO and use my 60hz IPS for other games. Sorry for the wall of text and for any spelling/grammar errors as I'm from Sweden. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I have a question that involves both network switches and music. I have a soundboard and want to use 2 switches between the stage and soundboard to send and receive audio. Can I use the sfp port with a fiber line to run from one switch to the other and then in the management utility of the switches essentially mirror the ports? Basically I want to combine all signal into that fiber line instead of running 24 separate cat-5 lines. I don't believe this should be an issue, but I wanted to make sure it's possible before buying the equip. Thanks!

Hi! I am currently looking for a good monitor that will work for every need. I will mostly use it as a secound monitor, but i will also use it for some photo editing. I currently have a Benq XL2420Z 144HZ 1080p 24" Display, along with a 32" 1080p LED TV. I want to replace the TV with this new monitor. I am looking at the Dell UltraSharp U2414H, it looks good with it's bezels and it's IPS display, but i want to consider something else, before i might buy this. My budget is about 250-300 USD, but the prices in my country may vary quite a bit. If you want, you can check the Norwegian prices on this site: http://www.prisjakt.no/ . The budget is then 2000-2500 kr. Any good recomendations in the price range? Thanks!

Hy guys. I am looking for a new monitor for my new pc. The type of monitor that I had in mind is an IPS with a resolution of 2560 x 1440p. Also I am not looking for something very big, as I am not really comfortable with 27-inch monitors, so 24,25 would be perfect. Also better for higher PPI, which I am not sure if it will make text harder to read. Also I would be using the monitor for some gaming and regular browsing, movies etc. I have made a pool, so maybe some of you guys had some experience with thees monitors and can give me an advice Any suggestions? Anything that would be worth looking at other then the selections above? Thanks

I want to get this 144 hz monitor and run it in 2d. It only supports DVI, D-Sub and HDMI. This is a problem, right? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009642

Ok, so the question that I present today is probably an obvious one, i just have no idea with anything like this... I am planning to buy the computer outlined here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XXTwZL The question that I have is in relation to the hardware and graphics card in the machine being able to run the AOC q2963Pm in the parts list as well as running the dual Asus VN247H-P monitors that I am using now. ( http://goo.gl/P9LRN ) I just want to make sure that as the computer sits now that it will be able to run all 3 of those displays and still be able to be presented with a satisfactory gaming experience. I would not be spanning the games over all 3 monitors mind you, most if not all of my gaming will be done on the AOC alone, so that should be a little easier on the GPU, as opposed to spanning all 3 screens. Is it okay for me to run the hardware I have and should I still be okay with the resolution that I will be running? Are there any other issues that I may not be aware of?

I am looking to get a new monitor for my gaming pc, but am stuck between these three. I don't play many fps games, and none on a competitive level, so idk how much a low gtg speed will really be noticeable. I would like a monitor that has good color reproduction an viewing angles, so I was leaning towards an IPS monitor, but upon looking at these monitors, idk how to tell the difference if any in color reproduction, as they all say they have a 50,000,000:1 contrast ratio and have 16.7 million display colors, as well as having at least a 170° (H) / 160° (V) viewing angle. On top of that idk if the difference between 23" and 24" is noticeable to justify the leap in price. Any and all help is much appreciated ! 23" ips 5ms gtg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236288 23" unknown 2ms gtg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236175 24" unkown 2ms gtg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236153

Hey everyone! I plan to get new monitors soon and I am stuck in between one big 27" monitor for gaming and two 24" monitors on the side, or just three 24" monitors so they match and it allows me to do Nvidia Surround. I feel like I should include what I do on my computer, which is mainly gaming and video editing. Thank you and cheers!
