To my new build I was going to get a Zotac 1660 ti.-https://www.nanotek.lk/product/1466 But then i found this ASUS 2060 card for the exact same price.-https://www.nanotek.lk/product/1696 But that 2060 only has ONE FAN whlie the 1660ti has 2. Should i be worried about overheating? I also use Unity 3D a lot. Which is the card best suited form me?

I'm about to go with ASUS ROG Strix for my GPU but due to budget restrictions, I can't afford neither the Advance or OC version of it. However, I just noticed something about the 2060 and the 2060 Super. 2060 https://rog.asus.com/hk-en/graphics-cards/graphics-cards/rog-strix/rog-strix-rtx2060-6g-gaming-model/spec/ 2060S https://rog.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/Graphics-Cards/ROG-Strix/ROG-STRIX-RTX2060S-8G-EVO-GAMING-model/spec The 2060 has a faster boost clock, 1710 Mhz in OC Mode, but with fewer CUDA cores(1920) while the 2060S have a slower boost clock, 1680 in OC Mode, but with more CUDA Cores(2176). So does this mean that 2060 is much better than the 2060 Super? Thanks for your replies.

So recently Zotac has put up a white variant of their RTX 2060 super on their website Linked HERE It looks pretty nice and as someone who wants a decent white GPU, its looks very intriguing. However, it does not have a price, I also can't find it anywhere to purchase. Websites like Vortez.net and techpowerup.com have both made articles about it. If anyone has any information please let me know!

Hi all, I'm planning of getting rid of my old 1080Ti FE and gifting it to a friend, however the price that I found was around the same for both the 1080Ti and 2060 ($500-600AUD). Since this is around his price point I was hoping for some feedback as to whether I am giving him a fair price for the performance, or if he would be better off going for a new 2060. If the 1080Ti is still better, what 20 series card would he have to buy to begin outperforming the 1080Ti? I noticed that even the 2080 seems slightly worse (on paper at least). His specs: MB: Asus P8Z77-M PRO CPU: i7-3770 3.4GHz PSW: Corsair VS 550W Thanks in advance

About a day ago I was playing games with some friends and noticed terrible frame rates and lag. I usually leave NZXT Cam running on my second monitor. When I checked it I noticed no load being put on my GPU when running any games. I’ve tried updating drivers and reinstalling but that did nothing. Checked Windows 10 for updates and nothing. As a last effort before posting I tried cutting all power and disconnecting my GPU for a minute then restarting still nothing. Any ideas what’s going on? Hey all, I’m looking at upgrading my rig, but with GPU prices and availability still borked, I’m looking at a prebuilt (probably from CyberPowerPC). I’ve found one that’s a decent deal that has an RTX 2060. My question is would that GPU support a 4K monitor at 120 Hz? I know it’s not going to game at 4k; I’m mostly looking to see if it can run a 4k monitor at 120 Hz at all (for work stuff in Windows). Does the 2060 have the right stuff to support that, either through DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.0?

I have my RTX 2060 for almost a year now, and I bought it second hand as a entire PC (got a good deal overall, the PC wasn't used a lot and still has active warranties). It can run hot, as most of the windforce cards, so I was thinking about replacing the thermal paste on the gpu and i have 2 questions: 1. Is it even worth replacing it with thermal grizzly kryonaut, or are they using somewhat quality thermal paste? 2. If it is worth to replace the thermal paste, are they using thermal pads under the heatsink? If so, what thickness they are, and what thermal pads should I use? I tried to find out if they are using thermal pads by myself, but i couldn't find any info in that regard.

My Dad's PC currently has a MSI 2060 RTX Gaming Z in it, that was purchased a bit over 3 years ago - because of this its out of warrantly and we're reluctant to go to a computer repair shop due to cost in comparison to outright replacing the GPU. Short of flat out doing this, would anyone be able to weigh in on what might be the issue here? Recently, while playing World of Tanks, there was some sort of critical GPU error, causing the game to crash (I'm not 100% sure what happened, this is based on his account). Shortly after this, the PC would not boot at all. Luckily as he owns an intel CPU with integrated graphics, I was able to boot the PC after a while by connecting the display to the HDMI port on the motherboard. However, this was only possible after fully disconnecting the GPU from the motherboard - the computer wouldn't boot at all otherwise (not that there was no display due to the GPU being attached, the computer just wouldn't boot at all). After reinstalling the GPU, and checking all power connections to the GPU and the motherboard, the computer was able to boot again. We reinstalled NVIDIA drivers (even going back to a driver build from a couple months ago in case a recent update was the culprit). However, it became apparent that under load again (in MSI Kombustor, and in World of Tanks), the GPU would reach extremely loud volumes (like a vacuum cleaner). Moreover, temperatures reached 80 degrees at 99% GPU usage, and GPU fan speed reached 3400 RPM. During this, the Intel CPU never exceed 60 degrees, and the CPU and case fans remained at normal speed (this is all monitored in HWINFO, and MSI afterburner). In MSI Afterburner, changing the power limit of the GPU to 65% was able to massively reduce the noise to minimal levels, and GPU temperatures reached 70 degrees at maximum. However, running the Kombustor benchmark at both 65% and 100% power limits ultimately produced nearly identical framerates (both averaged 39 FPS). This was also the case when running World of Tanks. However, when using 100% power limit, the GPU fan again reached 3400 RPM, and a maximum temperature of around 80 degrees. In MSI afterburner, during these tests, it did not appear that any thermal throttling was occuring, as the GPU power remained at a consistent 100%. Something to note is that running any CPU stress test (not 100% sure which was used) didn't cause any temperature problems, and make too much of an increase in volume. Messing around with fan curves doesn't make a discernible difference. Also, running the GPU fans at 70% still makes a significant amount of noise - I'm not sure if this was the case beforehand or if this is a recent development so this detail might be unimportant.

I was using GTX 1060 used card. Then it stopped working. So I'm planning to buy a new gpu probably RTX 2060. In specs recommended psu is 500W and I have Corsair CX 550W psu. But I was wondering if it won't be too much for my PSU as I want my PC to be stable for long-term. Do I need to upgrade for safer side? many says its completely fine and many says better to upgrade for safer side. I don't have much budget to buy another psu. Still would like to know your thoughts. PS: Not looking to buy any AMD gpu I know RX 6600 is a good option due to driver issues and all.

I have a ryzen 3400g and as much as I been enjoying 720p low/medium and vega 11 I would like to have a graphics card so now I want to know what gpus would not bottle neck the most for my cpu. But also I would like to go a 6600 because its currently for sale at micro center for $300 and it would be a good pick whenever I upgrade to a pcie 4 motherboard but at the same time when I was running my brother's rx 580 8gb there was a cpu bottle neck in far cry 6 and so it stayed at 60-70 fps so for all of that I could just get an evga rtx 2060 6gb sc 650 80+ PLATINUM and a evga capture card for 23 cents for $310 . now the diy evga bundle has a new psu and I would get a rtx 2060 and a capture card for the same price for a rx 6600 . thank you for coming to my ted talk

Budget (including currency): $800 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly for gaming. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Will be buying at christmas. I have gathered this pc in pcpartbuilder, and im not sure if can get a better system for the same budget. I was also wondering if i can swap the RTX 2060 with a RTX 3050 to build a pc around $750 without compromising on the performance too much since this is already a little over my actual budget. Please keep in mind that this is a tight budget so im trying to squeeze most performance as i can. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JnDVBj

Hi community, so today this thing happened twice, basically im playing genshin and sudden the screen goes black, gpu fan maxes out, i tried unplugging dp and re plugging it in, doesn't work. Only if i force shutdown and boot pc up again then it will run again, GPU is a 2060 12gb Asus Dual and when the screen went black in the morning i think i saw the white pcie light went to red for like 2 sec and went back to white again, but second time now it stayed white and never changed it. I only have this gpu for less then 2 monthes from micro center, bought it as open box, could it be a psu problem? ram problem or gpu itself? This thing is scaring the shit out of me.

So let me give the full story of when this began. So I got this monitor before I got the GPU, but this monitor is BRAND NEW, as is the DisplayPort cable that came with it unless ASUS is unknowingly giving us refurbed cables with new monitors. So I used this monitor with my GTX 1650 Super, same DP cable, with G-Sync turned on and I never had this issue, at all. Not one flicker at all. So I just recently upgraded to a 2060, there is nothing wrong with the GPU, I've benchmarked it to the cows come home. Monitor is a curved 1080p 165hz 27" monitor Freesync/G-Sync Compatible However, using the exact same DP cable and the same monitor with the 2060 causes flicker sometimes. I am SURE this isn't a hardware issue, as I can repeat this issue to no end. One way I know to trigger it everytime is after I put my PC to sleep, not Shut Down, sleep specifically. After I wake the PC up, it's all good, but if I move a browser window with a video playing on it from my second monitor [Dell SE2719HR 1080p 75hz] to the main monitor [The ASUS] My screen will flicker as if the monitor is disconnecting, but it isn't as there is no disconnect sound and the PC goes along as if nothing is going on. The second monitor keeps running fine, no issues at all. The second Dell monitor is plugged in via HDMI cable, I believe if it was the DP port on the GPU [hardware issue] I wouldn't be able to repeat this issue so reliably, as hardware issues are typically extremely random and you struggle to recreate them 99% of the time, in problems like this anyhow, to my knowledge anyway. I've tried DDU, wiped the 2060, fresh install of the newest driver and Geforce Experience. I've tried limiting my monitor's hz to 160, 5hz below it's max at 165hz, as I've seen people saying both FPS limits and custom resolutions can help, well they didn't. So the ONLY thing I haven't tried, is a new DisplayPort cable. I've seen reports of people having this issue with "out of box" cables that come with monitors, they get a 1.4 VESA certified DP cable and it fixed it. I just got a 1.4 VESA certified one on Amazon, I will update this post tomorrow when I get it if this fixes my problem. As far as I know, previous versions of DP cables work with eachother, but it could be that the port on the 2060 is a 1.4 port, but the cable and the port on the monitor is a 1.2. If anybody had this issue and fixed it for good PLEASE let me know what you did, this is driving me mad. What I mean by flicker too isn't the subtle brightness flicker but I do get that sometimes too. I mean the monitor is literally going completely black for a few seconds. I'm at a loss for words if this new cable don't fix it, I will give up on Gsync for the time being probably as this is insane. If only Nvidia would stop being greedy and let us use Gsync via ALL FHD ports on the GPU, be it HDMI or DP. Full system specs below. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB Dual Channel @ 3200mhz [Four 8GB sticks] GPU: ASUS Dual RTX 2060 EVO OC PSU: EVGA BR 80w Bronze 700 watt MOBO: Lenovo Branded B550 mATX Main Monitor: ASUS TUF Gaming VG27VQ 1080p 165hz 1ms [G-Sync Compatible, no actual module I'm too broke for that.] Second Monitor: Dell SE2719HR 1080p 75hz 4ms Boot Storage: Samsung 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD Other Storage: WD Blue 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD// 1TB 7200 RPM HDD// WD MyBook 2TB HDD via 3.0 USB

Budget (including currency): 30000 INR Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Casual offline Gaming. Other details: Target 1080p, 75 FPS need GPU to pair with Ryzen 5 3400G Current Configuration: Processor- Ryzen 5 3400G Mother Board: MSI B450m PRO-VHD MAX Ram: Hyper X Fury 16 GB 3000 single stick ram SSD: Kingston A400 240GB HDD: WD Blue 2TB PSU: Corsair VS600 80 Plus Case: Ant Esports ICE-211TG Mid Tower Computer Case Monitor 0: Dell 21.5-inch LED Backlit Full HD, 60 Hz. Monitor 1: ViewSonic Mainstream Monitor (24") Full HD (1080), 75 Hz, I Build my first computer in 15 years. I needed a system for WFH and laptop wasn't just cutting it (Need to login to web based consoles) and little gaming on the side doesn't hurt anyone. I was on a tight budget and GPU were extremely expensive so I opted for APU instead. Initially planned on getting a AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G but those were hard to get by, Instead I found a great combo deal on Prime ABGB for Ryzen 5 3400g with MSI B450 Pro-VDH max motherboard. Didn't knew 2 rams are better than one and got a Hyper X Fury 16 GB 3000 single stick ram. I went with 3000Mhz as Ryzen 5 3400g supports max 2933MHz. I got Ant Esports Case and a Corsair VS600 80 Plus Certified PSU as they were on offer as well. Kingston A400 240GB SSD as it was the cheapest option. Later added a 2TB WD Blue. Now I am thinking about purchasing a GPU as the prices are coming down. I know that 3400g will cause major bottle neck on modern GPU and since I only have PCIe 3rd gen, I don't even consider RX6500XT. I am considering following GPUs RTX 2060 GTX 1660 Super / 1660 Ti I don't have any immediate plan on upgrade CPU but might consider in another year or so. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thank you.

Hey everyone! I was planning on getting a new GPU and I was looking for some opinions since I can not decide. I am really trying to find a great card for a decent price since my budget is not crazy. My current rig is a Ryzen 5 3600x 16GB DDR4 Corsair vengeance, 1050ti, and a Corsair 500w power supply. I am mostly looking just to play average games like Overwatch, Elden Ring, and Valorant with and decent frame rate, nothing too crazy. I was looking at the RTX 3050 since the card seems fairly priced with good performance. However, I heard people saying 1660 was a good card for cheap, as well as the 2060 super, but 2060 seemed to be the most expensive out of them all. I am just looking for some advice, anything helps!

So I have an RTX 2060 (6GB) with a Ryzen 7 2700 (3.2GHz), 32 GB ram (3200 MHz), gigabyte b450m v2, windows 11, 750watt ps When I am playing certain games, my graphics card is not being full utilized. For instance if I play multiplayer on the new call of duty, it runs fine at 120fps but I am only using 70% of the card. And if I go to warzone it will only use 60% of the card and get like 80fps. The biggest set back is trying to play rust where it uses around 40% of the card and I get like 40fps. Things I have done: reset, uninstalled/reinstalled, and clean wiped all graphics drivers. did a clean install of windows(full drive wipe) redownloaded games ran cmd scans to fix files. The only other useful information i can think of is i was rocking a 1650 super(that i still have in my closet) before switching. And the 2060 is my buddy's out of a prebuilt MSI system (so its a weird one with just one fan, definitely made with that build in mind) I should also mention that my cpu ultilization is rather low too

Okay so basically I have a 2060, Which is great, it gets the job done for everything I need, the problem is that it doesnt support a DVI port which is what my second monitor used to run on at 144hz. I can use the hdmi port on the monitor and the graphics card, but im locked at 60hz because only the monitors DVI port supports 144. My question is, if i get a displayport to DVI adapter / Cable, will it support 144hz?

I'm looking to build my first ever pc and I am not sure which graphics card to choose. I have a ryzen 5 3600 and enough money left over to buy either an rtx 2060 or 1070ti. I have looked at benchmarks and the 1070ti seems to be slightly more powerful than the 2060 but does not have the same ray tracing capabilities. At the moment I have found one of each card priced at £300. The pc will probably be used for mostly gaming/streaming and maybe some light video editing. Which would be the best overall?

DLSS 2.0 has came out, yet not many people talk about it. I've seen The Tech Chap's video about Nvidia's new DLSS 2.0 that can bring significant fps boost over their first attempt with the DLSS 1.0 After seeing that performance gain for free, I would like to ask for your opinion on whether it is worth it to get a RTX 2060 Laptop for RT gaming. This is the link of the video I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/eS1vQ8JtbdM Thank You. Azura Lightfeilt
