  1. Hello everyone! I come to you in a time of great desperation. I am looking to upgrade my stationary for gaming performance, but i've hit a bit of an impasse. My current build is a rather basic MSI B350 motherboard (MS-7A34) with an AMD Ryzen 1700x processor, and a Gigabyte GTX 1070 4GB (Windforce). Also 16GBs of . This holds up alright, but i would like an upgrade for gaming purposes. Many recent games are able to push both my CPU and GPU quite hard, but between VR, a new QHD 144Hz monitor, and a desire to play with ray tracing, the 1070 is my biggest issue. With the current GPU prices and three years left of studying (and 2023 without my machine), i'd like an upgrade that lasts those remaining years, and i would like it before summer. I have an opportunity to buy a 3080 (10GB) for 1070 USD, or a 3070 for about 950 USD. This is about 118% of original price for both cards (Prices in Norway). This beats all retail prices i can find, and i'd love to upgrade to it. However, this leaves little budget for other upgrades, and i suspect the Ryzen 1700x would be bottlenecking a 3080 quite a bit. With a B350 motherboard, i could technically get a Ryzen 3800x without replacing other parts, and it's gotten quite affordable, but then my motherboard would probably bottleneck it... Short rant: I have heard that GPU prices were supposed to drop around these times, but i've seen little indication of this here so far. I also fear that next gen cards will see a price hike to match demand and growing consumer numbness to the mad prices). it would also be bottlenecked far more in my system anyways, and further upgrades will likely wait until 2024 for me. At some point i'll have to bite the bullet and just purchase a damn card, because i was planning to upgrade to the RTX30-series since it was announced, and the wait is getting ridiculous. My patience has worn plenty thin at this point, and i'd like the upgrade for summertime gaming :D. Full name of the card: RTX 3080 10GB PNY XLR8 Gaming REVEL EPIC-X TF Lhr I haven't heard of this producer before, but some quick searches seem to verify it being alright. TL;DR: I really want a new GPU before summer. Next gen doesn't seem relevant for me right now. I want it to remain somewhat competitive for about three years. i can buy a 3080 for 1070 USD (In Norway). This will likely be botlenecked by my Ryzen 1700x CPU. Any opinions on the value of this deal? Thanks for reading this essay on my life story and frustrations. Any reccomendations for upgrades is greatly appreaciated!
  2. Hey folks, I was able to snap a cheap 2080 and have been enjoying it for a few months now (used to have a gtx 1080), but now I'm wondering whether my ryzen 7 1700x is holding it back. My fps is lower in newer titles but I'm at relatively low gpu utilization. Any thoughts? Would a cpu upgrade solve my issue?
  3. I can't take credit. I stumbled upon this "ability" from "The Tech Tank" on Youtube (he is/was part of UFD Tech) when MSI sent him a MEG X570 Unify, but only had a 1st gen Ryzen CPU. Well, it works on with a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master too. I flashed to oldest available BIOS on Gigabyte's website. Anyone else tried?
  4. > I just upgraded my cpu from a 1700x to a 3900x. I already flashed the bios. When it starts it goes to black screen and sounds like I can hear 3 ticks from the cpu. It never posts. On my motherboard the ez debugger shows a red light lit on cpu. Specs: old cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 1700x new cpu: ryzen 9 3900x Mobo:msi x370 gaming pro carbon. Ram: 32gb (2x16) 3200 ram. PSU: 600w Graphics Card: gtx 1070. Storage: 2 m.2s (256gb and 1tb) and a 2Tb Hdd. Other: Total of 5 fans an a corsair h20 aio pump. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Hardware: 1700x, Gigabyte Aorus M B450 (Rev 50), Corsair 650W, idk if ram is relevant but i had Corsair LPX 16GB 3000 and now I have Team Group 32GB 3200. So on this motherboard you can set a Dynamic VCORE offset and a Dynamic VCORE SOC offset. No matter what I try, my voltage seems to stay the same. I've tried a lot of combinations like: VCORE VCORE SOC Auto Auto -0.048 Auto -0.06 Auto Normal Normal +0.048 Auto +0.12 Normal +0.12 Auto +0.054 +0.028 The voltages in HWiNFO always seem to be 1.387V SV12 TFN (max). The weird thing is if I start a Cinebench run the voltage drops during the run and then goes back up at the end. What do I make of this? My previous ASRock Fatality B350 itx had no issues whatsoever at 1.375 but my old power supply popped at one point (replaced) and made it so the bios couldn't be reached from spamming delete, I instead had to go to boot menu and then to bios (weird i know). The motherboard worked fine other than that though and it still held a stable 3.9GHz overclock I just didn't like that the menu was broken and I wanted some more ram slots and some other stuff. When I set the voltage in Ryzen Master it works at first but then I'll randomly get a boot error when I power up (only sometimes) and I want to use VBS so Ryzen Master isn't a good option for me. It also seems like this motherboard runs really hot compared to my old one as I can reach 80+ degrees and I never went over ~73 on my old one. What can/should I do?
  6. I could do with some help. I built a ryzen 1700x system 2-3 years ago, with a B350 MSI board. I have been buying parts to upgrade to 3rd gen. such as the ASUS Prime X570 Pro. it supported the 1700X and we have been using it for months. (atleast till I get the 3950X) yesterday I upgraded the bios to the latest, it said successful but after it rebooted it dosent seem to boot not even to the bios, just a black screen. all rgb lights up. the tiny led on the motherboard is red, which is supposed to be a cpu issues. I tried change out the ram. but nothing in the end I put in the msi b350 back in and all was fine.(luckily I hadn't got rid of it yet) I don't see why they would take support away. Is there anyway I can rollback the Bios any help would be great, Thank you
  7. Hey brains trust, first time poster here with a bit of a newbie question. I have a mid-range gaming/workstation pc I built a few years back after ryzen was released, nothing too fancy, just a Ryzen 7 1700x, GTX 1070 and 16gb of corsair lpx ddr4 3000mhz ram. Something for some medium to heavy level of gaming and some casual vfx rendering. I only just realised that after noticing a lack of speed and some lag in games that the ram i have installed is capped at the 2133mhz default, despite being 3000mhz speed. I've updated my bios, and played around with my d.o.c.p settings and have an option for it to run at 2993mhz, which is close enough, but once i make that change and restart, i get a lovely little bsod after about 5 minutes. I remember that there was some issue with memory post-launch for ryzen chips and their mobos, but i believe they've all been fixed with bios updates. could i be having an issue with the power? I'm super keen to get any info or pointers as to where i might be going wrong. full parts list: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/Endykits/saved/g4YbvK attached pic of cpuz for reference. Cheers, Liam
  8. Hi, Any help is greatly appreciated! I am an electronics enthusiast but I am not a pro in building PCs. I built a desktop with Ryzen 1700x, 16Gb ram, SSD+HDD, 750WEVGA PSU, x370 killer motherboard, and a used 980 Ti. A week ago, it seems like the 980Ti overheated and burned out. I got instant black screen and It smelled like burnt resistor/PCB but I didn't see any magic smoke so I was not sure if it actually was the 980ti that has failed. The computer does not boot with the graphics card installed. Ryzen 1700x has no integrated graphics but the computer boots without the GPU and I can access it with TeamViewer(basically a remote desktop). Now the problem begins: After installing new 1080 Ti hydro, the boot retries about 8 times, during the entire process I got no fan, no pump, and no post on the 1080Ti. The LED does light up and the computer boots without the installed 1080ti. I can still remote access the computer through Teamviewer. I dont see the 1080ti detected in device manager. Things I have tried and did not help: Clear CMOS Uninstall all nvidea drivers in Win10 Trying 2 PCIE slots Restarting many times, with USB devices unplugged. Things I tried and got interesting effect: Plugging and unplugging the 12v VGA power supply after the computer is booted can often trigger the pump and the fan in the graphics card to turn on. But I dont see GPU detected in device manager. Reverse engineering the 12v VGA input pins of the 1080ti, all 12v rails are internally connected. 2 GND are reserved for detection for if the power cable is connected. All trigger requirements should be met. 12.5v voltage is present whenever the other part of the system is running.(This does not mean the overcurrent protection isn't tripped, though. I dont know and have zero experiance.) WHAT SHOULD I DO ? I can not access BIOS because teamviewer runs after win10 boots. CPU PCIE controller fried? Overcurrent? Old BIOS? Broken GPU? I feel like I'm about to die. Any reply is greatly appreciated including IDK, etc.
  9. Hello, this is my first post here. I am trying to decide on either a Ryzen 5 2600 or a Ryzen 7 1700x. From my research, the 2600 has a faster core clock. Also, game favor faster core clocks over multi core performance. So, the debate boils down to, are the two extra cores worth the sacrifice of a lower clock speed? Any answers or responses would be appreciated. They are about the same price used, so, I'm not sure what I should go for.
  10. Many people talk about over clocking the 1700x to 3.9 or 4 Ghx. Is that the core clock or the boost? Also is that reasonable to expect? (I am pretty new at this) specs: 1700x 2060 super 8 gb ram ASRock b450 pro4 motherboard (I think) Also I game (mostly Fortnite), stream and record. Is that setup enough to get 144 frames?
  11. As of recent Window's 10 Patches, AMD RyZen Balanced Power Plan no longer needed nor exist with their latest Chipset Driver ( from AMD Site ). Now I'm wondering, which Power Plan should I use ?? Window's Balanced / Performance ?? I've try Googling it, but there's no solid answer. Most are old topics. Which suggested to use RyZen Balanced. Some suggested to use Performance. Problem with Performance, it will peg all your Cores to MAX speed even at Idle and never down clocks. I did try using Balanced, only played one or two games, didn't notice any weird lag and such though. I even tried Cinebench....scores is about the same as RyZen Balanced, give or take. No huge dip in scores. But I do notice when using Window's Balanced, some of my Cores doesn't run at 3500Mhz constant. It will go down to 2200Mhz then up to 3500Mhz and it's not like between few long seconds, but it's like ever 0.5, up and down up and down... Is this even " good " ?? I don't recall my Intel CPU even does this, it would least stay at a certain speed for a certain amount of time before it clocks down. Just like while I was playing KF2, some of the Cores be pegged at 3500mhz which it should, but then some of the other Cores be all over the place....constant up and down. But as I said I didn't experience any lag / FPS drops etc though. Because the thing is, back when I was using RyZen Balanced, all my Cores are at 3500mhz in game, constant no drops ever. Maybe a slight Boost on One or Two Cores up to 3700mhz for a mere second. If you do own 1st Gen RyZen do share what Power Plan you use. Did you tweak anything else ? I want to mention my CPU is at Stock obviously, I only OCed my RAM.
  12. Hello, with the generation 3 Ryzen processors coming along, I have been finding great deals on the past gen CPU's. I am building a computer primarily for gaming, with some light coding on the side. I have all of my parts except the CPU, so waiting for generation 3 doesn't seem like an option; not to mention I am on a budget. Just wanted to know if the 2700x is worth the extra bucks over the 1700x. From my browsing, they both seem like monsters for gaming, although many people say the upgrade is not worth it. Thank you
  13. So I currently have the 50th fastest ryzen 7 1700X which I did with an aio. Now in my area we are getting our coldest temps I'm going to be able to push it farther. So anyone with a 1700x here is the challenge. Beat my score and any score I come back with and you must use air or water cooling (radiator ice baths are ok) and then post the score here and on HWBOT in the standard format for cinebench r15. Wish you all the best of luck and if you don't have a 1700x but know someone does and think they might enjoy this send them the link. my hwbot score: https://hwbot.org/submission/3843720_primetimeoc_cinebench___r15_ryzen_7_1700x_1745_cb
  14. Hi all, I have been trying to get my memory to run at its rated speed since day one and have failed in many different attempts. My Configuration 1. Ryzen 1700x 2. G.SKILL TridenZ RGB 8GBx2 3000MHz 3. ASUS Prime x370-pro motherboard 4. samsung nvme ssd 256 GB 5. XFX Vega 64 GPU 6. CORSAIR H100i cooler I have the latest BIOS and Ryzen master installed. Not using Ryzen master to overclock These are the tests I have done so far. Setting DOCP in the BIOS and allowing the DDR speed to be at 2933MHZ Gets stuck in boot loop or wont post Setting DOCP but lower memory speed 2677MHZ Gets stuck in boot loop and windows wont load Set DOCP but lower the DDR voltage to 1.35V as specified in QVL of Ryzen 1700x Doesn't post Advertised speed rating for the memory is as follows 16-18-18-38 at 1.35V and 3000MHz rated, but 2933MHz for ryzen 1700x This exact memory model is not in the QVL but its close F4-3000C16D-16GISB is found on the qvl, attached. Memory-QVL.pdf I would like some guidance on how to get my memory to run at 3000MHz or 2933MHZ instead of 2133MHz which seems to be what it defaults to. Thanks! Bob
  15. at the start of the week i had the power drop out twice in about 20 mins , the system was running Ubuntu 18.04 latest build as of monday-tuesday ill explain latter more why i dont have the exact kernal build i have installed . it now after anywhere between 8-12+ hours locks hard . i tried to do the alt f1-f3 thing it doesn't work and i cant ssh into the server when it does this only thing i can do is pull power or hold the power button in . when it does lockup i had the monitor GUI thing that ships with ubuntu by default and ram was at anywhere from 10-30% used and Swap was mostly at 10-50% @ under a gb by default size . a few times swap was at near full but this i saw when it was running fine anything that was doing anything it seemed to fill swap up , im used to centos for my Nas that touches ram then swap not swap then ram . i will note when i did reboot it after the power loss my fstab for my 8tb drive for storage on it wouldn't mount, its address had changed sdc1 to scb1 . my friend who is mainly linux said this was a issue or wasnt a good sign . since the kernal went into rescue mode . i should note this system was on a surge protector from cyberpower i think its on one i know that much . i didnt have it on any of my UPS's since atm im either at there max load or over them . i guess being cheap may bite me on my ass . i have a 1350, and two 1500 va PFC from cyberpower. soon will have it on one i guess the ubuntu 18.04 desktop system in question is supermicro cse-826 2u 12bay one if i put the wrong chassis in asrock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming 1700x amd cpu stock low profile nocuta cooler 1k gold PSU only have 1 atm is redundant able. 1 tb sandisk ssd 8tb tobisaba NAS drive 8gb stick of ryzen approved ram = i paid 20% more then my normal sticks of ddr4 i buy at the moment i have it booted into the live cd/usb i used to install ubuntu as a test to see if i damaged either the MB/CPU/Ram/PSU . this is the best way to tell if i screwed up my Ubuntu install right ?. if it locks then i killed a piece of hardware. memtest came back fine only did a few passes thou. if i dont lockup then my OS is Messed up then right?. or my 8tb hdd Now for the question does anyone know or have a guide to do a install of 18.04 desktop without nuking the files in /user/home/ . all the ones i found were for older version of ubuntu . i rather not have to do a fresh install but want to fix this the right way . in about 12 hours from now , system has been on for 12 hours already , ill be booting into the 1tb drive to yank off my docker files and anything i need incase i need to format the OS disc this is if its not locked up when i check it . i did see it may be the GUI that is locking up but i was told i should still be able to SSH in if the GUI died or is bad in someway , the system was running fine for 2 weeks before this happened with no issues . so if you want me run any command in the terminal put them below and ill copy the output into a reply . im a novice a linux im mainly windows but i cant run what i need to on a windows machine even thur docker . before anyone asks all the log files in /var/log end exactly 5 mins before it locks up so there arnt any system logs sadly . i saw there is a bug or a issue with the 2nd gen ryzen cpu's on Ubuntu but since im running first gen i dont think it effects me . i know i ant giving much to go on i wish i had a log file that said this was the cause . (my centos rig has a kernel panic with External storage devices ,HBA/Raid cards the last few kernels) so i know roughly how to find it in the log file but timestamps make it real simple .
  16. So I just got my self a new 1700x with a MSI x370 Xpower gaming titanium MOBO and I'm trying to OC the CPU. When I change the clock and reboot the setting in bios gets updated to the clock I set but when I boot up ryzen master says the clock is 2.2 and the performance is drastically reduced. I am brand new to overclocking so it is totally possible that I am doing something wrong, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere... Please help before I go insane! The rest of my specs are 16 gig ram a 750watt psu, an evga gtx 980, windows 10 64bit, and my bios version says 1.6 which I believe is the latest for this mobo.
  17. Hi everyone, I have a huge problem that nobody can solve nor explain. I have a Ryzen system, that recently got an upgrade for the PC (new motherboard and PSU, also custom loop). Now since then the CPU downclocks under load in Windows 10 after a few minutes without OC and after a few seconds with OC, Utilization just drops and clock speeds go down to 2,6ish Ghz. GIGABYTE, the motherboard manufacturer wasn't able to help me so far. System Specs: Motherboard: GA-AX370M-DS3H PSU: BeQuiet! 18. I've got the Biostar A320MH PRO motherboard. Although the board features a single 4 pin CPU power connector and 3+2 vrm configuration, their website lists that it supports CPUs upto 95W! Maybe because they use low resistance ppak mosfets? Idk tell me your opinion on this. I got the a320 mainly for the price and I don't plan on overclocking this system.

The computer doesn't display anything on the screen when I try to start it. The case fans, rad fans, water pump, case LEDs, pump LEDs, and PSU fan are all working. The GPU fan turns on when I first turn the computer on, and then it turns off after about 15 seconds. Things I’ve tried: · Disconnected and reconnected every wire · Removed one stick of ram. Tried it in both slots. · Removed both sticks of ram. Computer will just go into boot loop. This tells me the ram is completely seated when it’s in. · Cleared CMOs by shorting the pins · Removed SSD · Removed case fans · Reseated GPU and ram multiple times · Removed GPU and connected the mobo directly to monitor · Reseated GPU and connected the mobo directly to the monitor · Tried connecting the monitor to every connection on the GPU · Tried different working ram in my PC and my ram in a friends PC · Rebuilt the entire computer outside of the case · Plugged the watercooler plug into different spots on the mobo to make sure its working on startup Do I need to do an update or attempt to install Windows 10 before it will show anything on the monitor? I’m starting to think the GPU or mobo might be defective. It seems odd because the GPU fan spins so it’s obviously getting power. The mobo is obviously working because its sending power to fans etc. My other thought is that it might be a defective CPU. What’s the best way to troubleshoot all of this? I’m not really sure what to try next. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Photos of build: https://imgur.com/a/BMmQWod (Power supply switch was only turned off for these photos)
  20. i have two systems, one with a i7 7700 and a GTX 1070 with 16gb of ram. the other system has an 1700x with a 4gb Radeon 550 and 8gb of ram. I'm currently completing an assignment for architecture and wondering if i would be better off sticking with my intel system for rendering (in both 3ds max and revit), or if I'm better off going for my amd build. as i know both programs really don't use the graphics card and now focus on cpu rendering rather then gpu, which system is really best? cheers
  21. Hi! I am building a streaming system that will be mainly streaming Dota 2 and various other games from time to time. I have a budget of 1,600 and currently my build sits at 1,582.60 with extra fans and led strips. With this being said I mainly want suggestions to make it better and to kind of verify I'm getting the best bang for my buck. For the CPU I went with the R7 1700x with a corsair h60 cooler, which I plan to OC. As for the gpu I went with a 1070 ti because of my current monitor, which runs 1080p@144Hz and between that and streaming I feel I should be able to take advantage of the performance of the gpu. I also plan to eventually upgrade to a 1440p monitor so the 1070 ti should do me well. So Should I stick to what I have or possibly go with a Intel 8th gen processor? I'm somewhat flexible with the budget but I wont go needlessly over without good cause. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vMs6sZ Thanks for the help!
  22. Hey guyz!I have a few questions if you don't mind.Today morning, my computer started beeping, when booting. It beeps three times, then reboots, and everything is fine and dandy. Now i figured that it has some problem with my keyboard so shm. The other thing is while i was at it, i redid my cable management, and porperly plugged in fans (yes, the guy who did it at the service fucked something so basic up smh 2.0). Now what i realized that my fan speed is going up and down and up and down. Checking it in ryzen master, sometimes randomly spikes up to 1,45 volts for no reason. Any tipps? Why does it do this? Oh, MSI x370 Gaming Pro Carbon with r7 1700x https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mknfucrFcETirq6fgsQbb8dBdNnlr7Eu/view Here are my bios settings. Is this normal that idling, the temps so the fan curve is fluctuating? Edit: hitting it with cpu-z makes the vcore rock solid stable. Just what the f.... edit2: okey i just set a waaay too aggressive fancurve(lol), but i'm still concerned about the vcore fluctuation.
  23. Some of AMD’s newest processors on the Zen 2 platform have had benchmarks leaked by SiSoftware. Of course, all of the benchmarks showed a boost of around “7-15%” (to be expected) however, there are some benchmarks that show a “20-30% increase in memory/cache transfer” as well as a few others pointed out in the article. The prices and clock speeds leaked too!!! Check my last source. I think this is a big deal since they are going to put a huge amount of pressure on Intel, both in terms of pricing and performance (not that they haven’t started that already, but more so). P.S. I did not see this posted prior to myself posting this article. If I missed it please tell me and I will remove my post immediately. 24. Not quite sure how to ask this... I recently build my new R7 1700X / X370-F system. I had quite a lot of trouble with it in the beginning but now it's running fine at 3.88GHz. My Trident Z 3200MHz kit runs at 3000MHz. AMD RYZEN R7 1700X @3.6GHz ASUS Strix X370-F ASUS Strix GTX 1070 G.Skill TridentZ 3200MHz 16GB Dual Channel @3000MHz Corsair RM750i DeepCool Captain 240EX RGB Phanteks Enthoo Evolv TG ATX Black Samsung 960 Evo 500GB M.2 NVME Samsung 850 Evo 500GB 2.5" SATA WD Black 4000GB WD Red 4000GB BenQ Zowie XL2735 All I really do is gaming at 1440P, 144Hz. Dirty Bomb, Quake Live, TOXIKK, Reflex Arena and Quake Champions. I also started playing Tomb Raider 2013 and Doom 2016... yesterday. Quake Live obviously runs at it's maximum FPS (250), Dirty Bomb often does too (180) but drops into the 140s and possibly a tiny bit lower than that. Reflex and TOXIKK are also solid. Although, I think that TOXIKKs performance is pretty GPU bound, not sure. I often droops into the 110s. Raising or lowering graphical settings has a massive effect. Quake Champions' FPS is all over the fucking place, 190-110. mostly in the 160s but it really does drip down into the 120s somewhat often. 110s are rare but present. By the way, QC is going to get Vulcan support, just in case that that's valuable information... Apart from that I also play quite a lot on Dolphin and Cemu, highly single core performance dependant emulators. They run perfectly fine unless I crank up the graphics. I am absolutely not sure what's causing stutter at higher resolutions and enhancements, since they are emulators I'd not be surprised if it was the CPU and not the GPU. I'm not sure if I will play much of anything else anytime soon. None of this utilizes anywhere near enough threads for Ryzen to have made sense. You might be wondering why I actually went with Ryzen in the first place. I simply have not been following along with the new Intel launches after the X299 stuff. I wasn't aware of the 8700K... And 4 cores on the 7700K can go fuck themselves Didn't do too much research at the time of buying. I mean, I already knew what I wanted just a few months back. So I went with that. Since I don't have much of any use for more than 6 cores and want decently high framerates, should I return my MoBo and CPU for the Intel counterparts? It would be 70€ more, not a problem. Motherboard would be the Z370-F (would looove the Z370-E for the WiFi but Silver.... Nah ). Two M.2 slots would be awesome. Especially now that they both support PCI-E 3.0 x4. One of the things that is making me really unsure also is the unbelievably pathetic rear I/O on that board compared to the X370-F. I wish they would not put a fucking DVI port there instead of some more Type A USB ports. I mean, how many connectors for the integrated graphics would anyone ever need on a gaming motherboard? Exactly, none. So from a pure convenience point of view staying on Ryzen would be nice. But it's still not enough of a reason to sacrifice a whole lot of performance, though... I actually am really conflicted and I would love some input from others. By the way, my system looks absolutely beautiful. Just thought I'd throw that in here But damn, Asus Aura is suuuper limited. Can't even save different profiles and have them load up when I open a certain game. My mouse and keyboard turn red when opening Quake, I expected to be able to have the PC do the same with Aura... But nope... It's actually ridiculous. Help is greatly appreciated.
  25. So I just updated the bios of my ASUS Prime Pro x370 board. Now I tried to run my two 8GB sticks at 3200MHz. This hasn´t worked since Ryzen launch and I gave up trying. But then I thought maybe now with the BIOS update it might finally work. ...BSOD (DRIVER_IRQL_NLOE). Blah blah stupid win10 recovery setup kicked in and everything went haywire. Now I reset the BIOS and dialed it back to 2133. WTF is up with Ryzen and 3200MHz...Is it that f-ing hard. I don´t buy a 3200MHz stick to run it at 2933...I know it makes next to no difference and I´ve been using it at 2933 for a year now but still. Is it that hard?
